We loved that we could walk to the Saturday Farmers market from this hotel. Definitely worth going to. We usually appreciate the free breakfast but this time around it made the trip for us. We met this beautiful person Kathy who exudes love and care through serving the breakfast each morning. We would go back to this hotel just to see her!

Too many dogs barking
The hotel was good, free breakfast in a great location, close to everything. The one thing I dont like is that they put people without dogs next to people with dogs so we had to listen to barking all night when we were trying to sleep and barking early in the morning.

All the staff members we interacted with were so nice and friendly. The room was nice and it’s walking distance to a lot of shops and restaurants. The breakfast was amazing, with waffle bar, fruits, pastries cereals, eggs and sausage, what a buffet!!

We had a terrific room! It was very spacious. I like that they don’t come in to clean your room each day. When I needed towels, I easily obtain them from the front desk. The breakfast daily was a nice option. The entire place smells fresh and clean. Front staff were kind. Only complaint is that the side door key reader did not work. Hopefully they get that fixed soon. We did not use the pool, so I can’t comment on that. Great value! Would definitely stay here again.

Great location and value
Excellent location good value, decent breakfast. The front desk staff were very nice. Plenty of parking. The room was huge and well appointed. The only thing I can say negative would be how much you could hear outside the room but I wear earplugs, so it wasn’t an issue for me, but may be for a light sleeper.

Convenient location
Initially the staff was friendly and helpful. We would have loved to stay there for the rest of our trip but they wanted $50 more per night and were kind of short when we inquired about it. (Our plans had changed and we needed to extend our stay). They gave the impression that they really didn’t care! The hotel wasn’t full and they wouldn’t have had to clean our room anymore than if we had checked out that day. It’s a nice hotel, clean and convenient.

Smelling urine on sofa bed.
The bathroom dirty and the room smelling weird when we realized the sofa bed was smelling awful a strong smell of urine. That was disgusting.

Very pleasant

Just ok...NOT worth the $$$$$$
under renovations so was kind of a cluster. Lots of construction stuff in the parking lot which made it hard to park late at night. the beds are not very comfortable and my blinds would not go down so I was up when the sun was up.

Bait and Switch ?
My reservation was for two nights in a handicap (mobility) accessible room with two queen beds. The description stated that there was a raised toilet, grab bars and either a shower or tub with a bench/chair. Upon arrival I was told that there were not any handicap rooms avaliable because the hotel was undergoing renovations. Upon further questioning they admitted there was one handicap room available but that it did not have any hot water or accessible bathtub. I did finally accept that room since I needed the raised toilet and felt I could do without hot water for two days.

The Hampton Inn always provides a clean room and a hot breakfast in the morning is a plus. The service was good. I would recommend this property for anyone in the Cape Coral area that wants to be off the Main Street area and secluded from traffic

Housekeeping did not dust until asked at the front desk. Dirty floor in bathroom. Did not leave products in bathroom, dirty sink.
Plumbing was almost unuseable. Couldn't move shower plumbing to take a shower. When trying to rest
Housekeeping was having an argument and I had to tell to stop.
This was the worst property Hampton has. I will never go back.

They are under construction, i understand there was a hurricane that damaged the building, but there is no mention of this when you are renting .The front desk doesn't tell you expect noise (jack hammering) at early and late hours . The cleaning staff starts knocking on your door at 845 am so make sure you hang your do not disturb sign

I stayed for one night. After checking in we realized there was no hot running water in the shower. We called and they couldn't move us into another room or fix the issue until 7am the following day. In the morning they fixed the hot water problem 20 minutes before Check Out. There is no water heater in the units so to resolve this issue it would have to be addressed wherever the heater is located outside of the unit. So the issue could've been resolved without waking us or needing access to the unit itself. Our stay was beyond inconvenient especially it being a weekend where there is a cold front and no hot water access. They could not compensate us directly for our stay we had to live chat with Expedia and the end result was a meager $50 refund for a stay that cost close to $300. A free night credit would be a lot more appropriate. All in all they do have complimentary Tesla charging. But for a place with EV charging you'd expect a hot shower! Just saying.

Everything was great but the front desk kid pounding on our door at 9:05 like there was a police raid, was unacceptable. He said he was checking to see if they could clean the room that early when we requested late check out.

The front desk team where very nice and helpful. Hotel was very clean. Two really good restaurants right up the street. A wine bar/restaurant and a sports bar/restaurant with indoor and outdoor live music. Free breakfast at the hotel was very nice in the morning.

The room was large and comfortable. The front desk staff and breakfast staff were friendly and accommodating. Pool was not set up to be used or to relax by. This was disappointing since it was 90 degrees. The housekeeping was disappointing. The bed was made and most of the towels were refreshed but sink wasn’t washed down so I assume neither was the toilet. Paper cups are supplied for coffee or whatever in the rooms. The were not replaced once the were used.

The little things make a difference
The hotel was very nice. The only real issue was that, on check in, we found the toilet dirty and needed cleaning. There was no housekeeping staff present. The front desk person was the only employee working. She gave us supplies to clean it ourselves. Maybe they’re having staffing issues, but I would expect more from a hotel with prices pushing $200 per night. Everything else was great. Don’t get me wrong. We enjoyed our stay. Fix the staffing problem and I’ll rate you a 10.

Our room had a musty smell to it. We had to request housekeeping which was understandable but upon request they only replaced towels and semi cleaned the bathroom. Trash wasn’t emptied and we didn’t receive fresh linens. Our flight home was cancelled and we were only given a 30 minute late checkout. Best thing about the place was the coffee and breakfast

Disappointing
I'm not sure how this hotel has an 8.6 rating (which is what I unfortunately based my decision on when choosing a hotel in the area.) The A/C in my room didn't work (in the middle of June, no less) and the hot water never got hotter than lukewarm, even with the faucet turned as hot as it could go. Breakfast was disappointing as well (jello-like "egg product" anyone?) I will say that the staff was friendly and everything was clean and felt safe, which does improve my rating somewhat. Overall, this experience will have me looking more closely at hotels.com ratings in the future.

They had construction on the roof. We were told they notified me. I was never notified about any renovations. The put us on the top floor right beneath the construction. The drills started going at 7 and woke my family up. Then the housekeeper didn’t give two seconds before she came into the room.
