The oveall condition of this property is pretty bad. Need significant renovations. The quality of breakfast is poor. The conditions of thr gym, pool and rlevator is pathetic. The overall service was ok.

I felt like housekeeping was subpar in the bathroom, areas were obviously overlooked. The remote didn't work to the tv, front desk just advised us to "reprogram it". Little to no concern shown. For the short time I was there, it was ok but I wouldn't book it again.

The room floors were really dirty…room next door had fighting guess…the charge me a pet fee but I was told the next day that it was not pet friendly….day shift staff not very pleasant….the gentleman on evening shift was very nice and helpful great personality he was the best part of the stay

The staff and service are excellent! It's not easy running a hotel, but the owners are hard working people and they try hard to make your stay as comfortable as possible. For all the negative comments out there, you know in advance that you're not booking a 5-star hotel. The property is old, so it appears dirty, but the bed and sheets are clean and the mattress is not bad. There are no evidence of bed bugs. We needed more towels during our stay and they were happy to give us more. The free breakfast is the standard one that is offered at the other hotels.

One of the male staff members walked into my room without knocking or announcing himself. He had no cleaning supplies with him and we didn't request any towels or room service. When I told the front desk they only apologized but couldn't explain WHY he even attempted to enter the room.

Property in unsafe condition. Drains in hallway lose and covered by wet floor triangle. Floor dirty. Broken picture frames on walls. Fire alarm missing. Only wires sticking out of wall. Toilet would not flush most of the time. Had to fill tanks with small cup from sink. Drawer fronts broken and just hanging there. Definitely do not recommend this chain.

I booked a three night stay. I needed an accessible room, and I was told that this room had an accessible toilet with hand rails, and a tub with hand rails. I wanted a shower, but one wasn't available. They showed me a tub for size comparison, and i thought i would be able to step into one with handrails. When we got to the room, the toilet had no handrails and the tub had one small rail just like the tub shown us in a regular room. I couldnt use the toilet or take a shower. We stayed one night, then found a hotel that could accommodate me. We had to pay for all three nights even though they couldn't meet my needs.

This hotel was absolutely disgusting. Room smelt musty. Dirty sheets with stains and two different dogs hair. The cracks of the door you could see through. As I was complaining so we’re 3 other guests.

Easy parking and no safety issues. Check in was easy and quick. The elevator needs to be inspected and may need repair. It makes a significant noise when operating. The sink water piping had some trapped air and this caused a water surge and discolored water when the sink was first operated. It did clear up after running for short period of time.

This place is disgusting, dirty and unlivable! It should be condemned. I can’t believe this place was even recommended on your site! I am so disappointed. I checked in and checked out 5 mins later. The carpet is very old, filthy and ripped. The toilet dripped with tape all around the back. The floor broad dipped which caused the frig to tilt back. The mattress!!! The mattress was filthy. It was terrible!! Please refund my money and I would like a 2 day stay credit added to my account. I checked in about 930- 10 p at night. I then had to scramble around to find somewhere else to stay.

Courteous and friendly front desk staff
The front desk employees were very friendly and courteous, I would give them 5 stars. The breakfast was decent. The room was spacious. One big negative is the carpet in the rooms and hallways smelled, looked old and dirty. I paid $186 for the night bit on the high side but it was mother's day. I would stay here again during my travels. The carpet needs to go.

Nice Older Hotel- Bring Washcloths!!!!!
The hotel was older but in good condition. The room was clean and in good condition. Breakfast was good as well. The only issue we had is that we only had one wash cloth and when we asked for more the only response we got was, they had given them all out. So we had to go to Walmart to get wash cloths!!!!!!

Never Again
I would avoid this one at all cost. While there on a recent family weekend getaway we were very much displeased.
I booked our room on 3/7/24 and arrived on 3/8/24. We arrived at about 7:30pm to check in and drop off our bags.
The room was in poor condition but thought we would get by for the two nights we would be there. Went out to visit with family and returned around 11:00 pm.
We had just returned to the room and was going to get changed. While taking off my shoe I saw something moving on the dirty carpeting. I hit the bug with my shoe. I then picked the bug up to clearly see it was a cockroach. I took the bug along with my wife and son and headed for the front desk. The front desk clerk was in the hallway near my room when I appoached him and showed him the bug. I asked to be moved to another room. He agreed. We went back to gather our belongings. When we walked out of the room the front desk clerk was at the entrance to the room right next to the one I had a problem staying in. He said we could move from 103 and into 101 which was right next door and closer to the pool area (which was not very clean).
When he opened the door the carpets were so dirty I refused to enter the room. I asked him if I could photograph those carpets. I told him the carpets needed to be cleaned. He said that carpet cleaning does'nt work and the carpets need to be replaced.
At about 11:30 I asked for a refund and was told I needed to contact the mgr. at an email address I was given.

Little sleep and unsure about air quality.
My friend and I were staying for an overnight and were looking forward to relaxing at the pool, however, when we went into the pool area we found it covered with what looked like black mold and mildew and smelled very high of bleach in the steamy air. The hallways smelled like pot and/or body odor. The beds were comfortable at least but during the night there was a couple arguing loudly in a neighboring room before having very loud sex until the early hours of the morning. That coupled with noises coming from a late night truck pulling in to the parking lot. The shower stall seemed a bit moldy and/or not overly clean but the last straw was the stray finger nail clipping on one of the “fresh” towels. Probably not the worst hotel stay I have had but its up there.

Our room was clean, the two beds were comfortable, there was plenty of closet space. The sofa bed was very uncomfortable, basically a thin pad on top of wire mesh. There were two TVs, but only one remote worked. There was a slight mildew smell in the corridor, but not in the room. The breakfast was good; eggs, sausage, French toast, waffles, muffins, juice, milk, coffee, and cereal. The location was not great (not a lot of places to walk to), but easy access to the interstate.

Massive stains on the carpet poor shape of bathroom with shoddy fixes. No toilet paper holder/broken.Slope of the floor by bathroom very uneven ( old repair??) asked for an E Mail of my receipt. Still waiting Staff seems overwhelmed.Second bad room for Country Inn and Suites. Probably will never go there again

The hotel was in a good area near many stores, the beds were comfortable. Unfortunately the carpets in the room and elevator were absolutely disgusting. The rugs smelled and had huge stains everywhere the elevator smelled like a mixture of urine and cigarettes. The staff were nice and they had great breakfast selection. I would recommend if they cared to clean the carpets and elevator.

My room’s carpet was stained and needs to be replaced. The curtains were wrinkled and broken so they didn’t close properly . There is only one ice machine and it’s on the first floor. Didn’t know that until my second day there.

This room should not have been rented to anyone. The carpet was not cleaned; missing light bulbs, Caulking need around bathtub & sink; window curtains not on rod; closet door attachment off the track ( been this way for months); towels torn and only minimum provided; breakfast menu at a minimum, no microwave, stale buns, only one fruit. no apologies given for conditions--Mgr said its been that way for months.

We checked in on 10/19/23 and the floors looked like they were swept but very dirty. The beds were clean. i got up in the middle of the night to go to the bathroom and the toilet had overflowed so we had to move rooms around 5 am. We had no help to move and had to walk through the toilet water to move to the next room.Also went to use the pool and the floor was dirty and alga was all over the floor. Did not feel comfortable using the pool. At checkout we asked about a discount and the gentleman said that he couldn't do that and we would have to email the owner. I emailed the owner and have not heard a word from him. We went ahead and stayed because my wife was having some health issues and didn't feel that she could handle moving at that time. I would not recommend staying here.

The night staff was very friendly and understanding, but that was the only thing we liked about the property. The first room we were assigned was awful, carpet was stained, curtains were ripped, tv had been punched and was busted. The second room, which was also a suite (2 queen beds and a pull out) was still not very clean, there was cake on the closet door, and Doritos on the floor and pull out. I don’t think they vacuum. We only had 2 towels, 2 washcloths and 2 hand towels. When we asked for more towels and washcloths (enough for 4 adults and 2 kids) they gave us 3 more towels and only 2 more wash clothes (which was all they had). Cleanliness is our biggest complaint. The property did not meet expectations. We don’t need anything fancy, but we want to stay in a clean room, where we feel safe. The first room was not clean enough for our 6 month old puppy, much less our entire family.

It was quiet. They brought a dehumidifier in to my room after I complained and asked for a different room. Was told they had no other rooms. My room was smelly, moist, mildewy, and nasty. Carpet had what may have been pet stains all over it. The walls were patched in multiple places; multiple stains in the walls and ceiling. Bed spread had stains as did the towels. Bathroom had baseboards separated from the wall and what appeared to be mold in the shower area where the granite walls met in the corner. Muffins at breakfast were old or stale.

Lots of Potential, but It Needs Some Help
This hotel needs some work to meet the quality I expect from Country Inns. The check in experience created a negative right away. We got to the hotel between 10-11. The person checking in was very hard to understand. The check in area was littered with items related to a foreign religion. (It's their choice who they worship, but it should not be in the lobby.) The person doing the check in was extremely difficult to understand. We wanted to modify the reservation to leave a day early and was told it could not be done. My son was thirsty and the only soda machine in the entire hotel was out of order. They had nothing there to help. There is no where nearby to get something, so that was extremely inconvenient when you have a thirsty child.
The room itself did not meet expectations either. There was nothing in the room to put on the couch bed. We had to go ask multiple times to get everything we needed to fix the bed. The door from the closet was hanging off and wouldn't open. The drawers had an odor. The thermostat didn't work. The room was very stuffy. The pillows were extremely flat. We asked for extra pillows and was told no. The room did seem clean though, but could use some paint as well as areas in the hotel.
The breakfast area is extremely small and there were signs saying not to take breakfast out of that area. It also ends at 9:00, which is early for travelling families.
So many little things could have made our stay so much better!!!

This place was beyond dirty! Mildew covered the shower curtain in the bathroom. Stains throughout the carpet. People smoking marijuana right outside the main entrance of the property. I understand this cannot be stopped but for the hotel staff to allow it to take place at the main entrance was very neglectful of the management at the property. Horrible experience DO NOT STAY HERE!

I don't even know where to begin. There's water damage on the ceilings here as well as stains on the cheap linoleum floors throughout the hotel. The guy at the service desk was away complaining to co-workers in plain sight instead of checking guest in and out for both check-in and check-out. The bathrooms are deplorable. The rooms have an odd smell to them. The carpet in the rooms are filthy. The bathroom floors are just disgusting. The lampshade in the rooms had stains on them as well as the bed sheets. The surrounding area is super sketchy. Unless you're in a bind, and I mean a serious bind, stay away from this hotel at all costs.

Carpet was all stained no fan in the bathroom, smelt musty, could never get clean towels. We did not want maid service. The second day stay we asked for clean towels like three times. Finally was able to get swimming towels. Never anyone at the desk. Always outside. Have to say more options for breakfast. I never ate. My husband had yogurt. Would I go back definitively NO! I guess you get what you pay for. Booked on line cheaper.

STAY AWAY
DO NOT STAY HERE!! Over 100 young people having parties in parking lot and running hall ways of hotel. Front desk did not know how to handle situations until we recommended to call police. Had to wait in my vehicle for 45 min just to get a parking spot after police broke up party. Next day owner offered NO refund or apologies in how bad the stay was. Also breakfast was so packed we had zero food options of seating available for paying guests @7:30am on a Sunday.

The hotel was dirty and under construction. No carpeting in the hallways on several floors. Bath towels were stained and when new ones were requested I was told there weren’t any. Quality of Country Inn and Suites was not like other ones I have stayed at.

While the staff was informative and friendly, some things in this hotel should have been replaced awhile ago. We had a chair in our room with glitter and stains all over it and the carpets from the hall and elevators to the room itself badly needed to be replaced. The vent/fan in the bathroom didn’t work, the beds weren’t the most comfortable, and the moldings were peeling pretty badly in multiple spots (especially in the bathroom by the shower). The elevators had greasy finger prints and smudges all over the inside and the halls smelled weird. With these woes, the saving graces were the staff, all of our appliances in the room worked, we always felt safe, the shower had great pressure and stayed at a nice temperature, the a/c unit worked perfectly in our room, and it was a short car ride to the coliseum for an event. This place did have everything you really need, but a few things desperately needed to be replaced or wiped down more often that we questioned the upkeep by the property owner.

Truly can’t judge a book by its cover!
I needed to stay at a hotel due to a plumbing issue at my home. This hotel was the only place that had vacancies and close to my home. It looks pretty nice outside as well as the lobby. However, once you turn the corner towards the elevator, the carpet is FILTHY throughout the hallway and inside the elevator. Further, the carpet on the room was mostly black, as in filth! The shower curtain looked as if it had never been cleaned and thankfully there weren’t any bugs!!! Whew!!! What’s crazy is I slept like a baby!!!! Go figure!

Impersonal check-in experience. Dirty and stained carpeting throughout, even in the elevator. Peeling paint on most all of the room doors. Our door wouldn't close all the way. Strange odors; Like someone was cooking...something. Very active and LOUD guests above us from 4:30 PM until 5 AM today...no sleep!

The laundry room was closed off, I chose the hotel so I could wash at the same place I was staying. One of the beds was not properly made up, it look like someone was sleeping in the bed before I got there. The handle to the curtain was also broken which prevented me from closing it

The lobby and breakfast area was nice, but this place needs some redoing, namely, the carpets must be changed, the room needs painting, the granite in the bathroom surrounding the tub, needs replacement (black toward the bottom at the seam with the tub, perhaps water got under but quite unsavory). The beds were comfortable and the room appointments met our needs, so for the 3 nights there we did well, primarily because it was close enough to what we'd planned to see/do. The front desk staff was attentive and helpful, too.

Graduation FAILURE WKND
1. I booked this room for myself and my sister coming from Charlotte, NC and Atlanta Ga for my niece graduation. My sister arrived on 5/12. I arrived this morning at 6am. They act like they couldn't find my room, but they charged my credit card before either of us had gotten here, so they knew there was a room.
2. There was No tissue was in the room. Then they act like it was a problem giving us tissue.
3. It was 4 towels in the room . I don't reuse towels so I asked for more. I showered when I arrived. They only gave me 2 and said that's it. This room was almost $400 and this is UNACCEPTABLE!!!

Room wasnt ready until 5pm (hours after checkin). Bath towels had brown stains all over them. The indoor pool seemed to not have chlorine in it to keep help control bacteria & germs. Breakfast didnt look appetizing. Although it was FREE, we decided to play ot safe and get breakfast elseware.

This is not an extremely cheap hotel, but it looks like one. Stains on carpets, holes in walls, badly patched holes in other walls. We were asked once if we needed clean towels, toilet paper, etc,. Otherwise, no services were provided in the room. We even took out our own trash. The breakfast is kind of gross. Storage of butter and other cold items had not been cleaned in some time. There was actual pieces of old "things" in the cooler. We would not go back and would have left early had we'd been able to get a refund.

The property is in need of some TLC.... the carpets in the common areas and my room werr horribly stained(even large bleach stains) and in need of a deep clean/replacement.
The reception area is uninviting and full of clutter/personal items & religious decor that detracts from Marriot branding. The reception area also has poorly constructed plexiglass barriers that detract greatly fron the hotel having a welcoming environment.

The hotel was clean and staff helpful. I was there with other family to attend a funeral and the manager put us all on the same floor. The room was nice and comfortable. The only thing that would make it better is more comfortable pillows.

Just don't stay here
This has to be the dirtiest hotel I have ever stayed in we went through three rooms to find one that was clean and the door had not been damaged the floors are disgusting in the rooms there is food under the beds mold on the sheets and the floors in the rooms do not even look like they have been vacuumed ever stay away from this place

I loved my stay but one reason I picked this spot was that the washer and dryer on site however, it was not working.
I also wasn’t aware that the pet fee was separate than the incidentals but I had a nice stay
