Pleasantly surprised by my experience at this Best Western Plus! I wasn’t expecting much because let’s face it, its Atascosita, but this hotel was super cute and clean and the gym was great!! I was shocked to see it had 2 treadmills and a Peloton bike. Location doesn’t get better than this- you have absolutely anything and everything to eat and shop right across 1960. I will be staying here again on my next family visit!

Very impressed with the property. Very clean, quiet and comfortable. Will continue to stay here when in town. Close to grocery stores, drug stores and restaurants (highly recommend Italiano's).

So disappointing. Low maintenance
There is a humidity smell when you enter the room every time.
Like an old carpet , low maintenance place
I came back to my room to realise there was no cleaning done. When I asked front desk they said the cleaners have left , there is nothing they could do. I asked for a a newer room, the said the manger declined. I couldn’t believe it. I don’t recommend this place.
Not to mention their so called Breakfast is like dog food. It disgusts you from far.
I should have read the reviews prior. I was seduce by the picture they posted of the front . It is all lies. This is not a reputable place. Plus this is so far away (45 minutes) from downtown Huston.

It was pretty on the outside as well as the inside. Love the little water fountain… took a group photo there. Pool and hot tub were a winner!
Only upgrade I would recommend would be for the shampoo/conditioner/soap situation as with 5 people that did not work well in our favor. :-)

All great from questions on survey; the only comment I have is the complimentary breakfast: it is always the same for our 1-week stay. Eggs and sausage links/patties. There should be a variation every other day (like sausage, bacon or other alternatives. I mentioned the same from our previous visit last year but no changes. I guess the manager just heard it accepted but did not listened to my recommendations.

Dated property. House keeping staff rude and look miserable. Breakfast no items ever replenished. Despite staff present at breakfast no cutlery, no waffle mix, no sausage, no pastries, no bread. Very poor.

Quiet, clean room and bed slept great. Staff barely knows English, hard communicating. Upstairs hallway smelled strongly of marijuana all 3 nights stay. Only cable tv, no internet TV. My room door deadbolt to latch from inside hotel room would not engage to lock, maintenance did fix within hours of complaint. No trash bags in trash bins in room. No clock. After 1st night of staying maintenance knocked on my door to replace mattress. Just wish these things could have been done before i checked in. Ive stayed in this same hotel 2x a year for past 4 years while visiting my son. All previous stays were great except this booking, im thinking new management. Not the wonderful booking experience from previous years.

Is supposed to Be non- smoking but it smelled like cigarettes. I mentioned it to the receptionist but she just laughed. The bathroom had a bad smell. I don’t recommend this hotel.

We extended our stay for two nights because of our flight cancellation. The hotel did not have power at all during our extended stay. We had to stay in oven-like rooms and darkness at a 3-digit temperature outside. They did not clean our room during those two days until we came down to the front desk in person to ask for the cleaning. And the most unbeleivable thing is: for the extended two days of no electricity, no breakfast, no cleaning, they charged me more than the amount that I paid (through third party) for the first two days.

The young lady that did the check messed up the check in process, something with inputting the room keys, and she had to call someone to help her resolve her mistake and I had to stand there and wait about 45 minutes to get my room key. Everything thing else about my stay was fantastic. I feel she was probably new or undertrained.

The room was fantastic. It was cold, clean, and spacious. The pool is passed the parking lot and there was a lot of construction going on outside the property, but overall worth the stay and plenty to do in the area.

First room they put us in, the AC was not working. Moved us down the heall to a different room. In second room while putting cloths in the closet, roaches were seen when we opened the door. Did not report is as there was only a couple. Would not stay at this hotel in the future, and wouldn't recommend.

There seems to be a plumbing issue. We had to switch to a smaller room because there was backed up sewage and it came out of the bathtub, bathtub was full of urine and feces that was not ours and it continued to rise. We are suppose to receive a partial refund which we did have to ask for because it doesn’t seem like we would’ve been given one without asking. Other than that issue, everything else was fine.

Yolanda and the front desk staff are delightful. I do wish there were more Jacuzzi suites. When traveling, Jacuzzi suites are so helpful to refresh ones body to continue pleasant traveling when there are long hours in a car! The pool and hot tub were very nice this trip. Thank you!!!

Great Hotel!
Last minute booking and I was impressed with the cleanliness of the hotel. The room and bed was so comfortable which I loved because I was exhausted from traveling 3 hours after working. Only cons I have is there was a enough towels in bathroom and no ice bucket in room. Other then that everything was great. Would definitely recommend and book again.

Cold tub, hot pursuit
If the pool and hot tub you include as amenities are outside MAKE THAT CLEAR ON THE WEBSITE! We specifically look for places were we can get an aquatic workout and treat my back after a long drive, and to have it be a bait and switch is just wrong. The hot tub was 65 degrees and when we asked the zombie at the front desk to turn on the heat pumps she just mumbled about her boss maybe doing it. Never happened. The fitness room was a mess and the machines in various states of disrepair. Breakfast was clean but tasteless empty calorie offerings. The hotel is situated in the middle of a heavy road construction zone. Oh, and the sheriff spent the afternoon chasing down a homeless guy who was living in the backlot. Skip this property.

Got accused of stealing a soda when I had sat there and purchased three drinks the night before, but the next day that they said that we did steal a can of soda the night before but the desk clerk failed to charge it

The times that I have stayed at Best Western have been an all around great experience. From the time I check in to check out, the staff have been nothing but professional, kind, and courteous. They have addressed my every question/need without delay. The hotel very neat and clean from the parking lot, to inside the reception. The rooms are very comfortable and have everything you need for your stay. Needless to say I was very happy with my stay.

Everything was very clean, staff was super friendly, complimentary breakfast was better than other places - my only request is they have the Nespresso Cafe machine on all day instead of just for breakfast. I visited when temp was in the 30’s all day long and wished I could have had a cup of hot chocolate after 9am.

This hotel was great! The room was big and clean. The breakfast was more than enough. Waffles, cereal, sausage, fruit, muffins, toast, juice, coffee it was perfect. Front desk staff were nice and helpful. Only bad thing was the road construction directly in front of the hotel. We didn’t know about it and gps sent us past it two different times. We figured it out after. Our rental car was an electric vehicle and the charging port didn’t work, but overall everything else was perfect. My husband forgot soap and used the bar soap the hotel had in the room and said it was actually really great soap!

The area lighting was great while arriving at midnight. The hotel was clean and in great shape. The bed was comfortable and had a great night sleep. The shower had a substance on the floor that was very slippery. Dangerous for older people. Checking out clerk was not as friendly or pleasant as the night clerk.
