Great location, very clean, new rooms, excellent breakfast in the morning. Staff was very courteous and prompt especially Lei. Will stay again. The ONLY “bad” thing is parking. $50 valet with in and out privileges OR parking garage nearby.

The room was clean, spacious and fit my family’s needs. Great price. It was right across the street from the convention center and 2 blocks off 6thSt. Walked everywhere. Breakfast was excellent. Parking was a bit stiff at $55 a day, but oh well. Would stay again.

Overnight stay

They overbook and cancel hours after check in time
They overbooked. Made me wait 3 hours after check in time of 4pm for a room. Then they confessed they didn’t have a room and canceled my reservation.

Nice and clean hotel. The room includes a fridge, microwave and a small kitchen, features that might be important when traveling with family. Two downsides, the indoor pool is small (capacity of 9 people at a time) and very cold so, I couldnt get in. The other one, I didn't see that parking is $55 dls per night, while it caught me by surprise, it is my fault that i did not see it in their description.

This stay was amazing due to the competent and caring staff. The breakfast was amazing and the staff that cleaned our room was exceptional. The front desk and valet personnel were also helpful whenever we needed something or had a question. Overall, 5 stars!!

Convenient Downtown Hotel
In town for event at Moody Center. Hotel is short ride to Moody or a quick walk to 6th Street. Lots of bars and restaurants within walking distance. Nice hotel. Rooms are spacious and the kitchen is nice to have. Firm beds, and was clean. Typical paper thin walls hearing anyone/everyone next to you or in the hall. Although convenient location to walk to many destinations, be prepared for the homeless folks camped around the downtown area. They charge $55 for parking, and there is a nice clean, brightly lit public parking garage 1 block down for only $20.

It’s walking distance to 6th street. Only has Valet parking that is $55 a day, No self parking garage. The Room had a mildewy smell to it! Included breakfast was nice

The guy who checked us in was excellent and so nice as wallet as the valet staff. Other staff we came in contact with not friendly or accommodating.
The room was a good size and clean. However mattress was awful. Showers did not drain.

I liked this hotel. It was clean, convenient and and the staff was pretty good. The free breakfast buffet was okay. Outdated chocolate milk, no waffles, rubbery pancakes, powdered cooked eggs, but the fruit, cereal, bacon, sausage and juice was good. Cant be too picky though, the price was $30 cheaper than the discounted Hilton price next door where our convention was. And they didnt have the free breakfast option.

The room was spacious and spotless, looks like had a recent renovation, very quiet even on 5th floor. Close to 6th avenue, Congress ave. Decent breakfast options and fresh fruit. Room service every other day. Although parking valet was pricey $55 for a night but pretty quick and convenient, worth it. Highly recommend.

The free breakfast was good, some of the valet staff were kind and helpful, the beds were super uncomfortable, and the room was always a bit too cold. Called for help with heating. I was told I needed to raise the heat temperature (by maintenance) to 78 degrees if I want the room to feel like it’s 71. Bathroom was very clean.

Great location and spacious well appointed room with kitchen and plenty of open space.
The breakfast was very good. However
the hot water in the bathroom sink was not readily available so I informed the front desk as it was wasting water running it to get the hot water to flow.

I liked the size and setup of the room. There was plenty of space for my grown daughter to have privacy.
Check-in was confusing because two hotels share the same space.
Paying over sixty dollars a day for parking and tip was ridiculous.
Having to request cleaning is no longer acceptable at high-end hotels. Rooms should be cleaned and restocked daily. Also, our dishwasher had old soap dried up in the soap bin, so we had to wash our dishes before using them.

We stayed for six nights and our room was never cleaned. My wife and I both asked the front desk twice to have the room cleaned. When we told the front desk about this at check out, they offered us 500 reward points as an apology. That's worth maybe five dollars. We will not be staying here again.

Highly recommend this hotel the guest service agents at the front desk were just super friendly and very welcoming. Easy checkin process. The valet service was also an added bonus a bit pricey but you’re paying for location and great service. Room was immaculate with an awesome city view. This hotel is walking distance from every downtown Austin attraction.

Parking and valet was a nightmare, they were either understaffed or something. Waited to enter the driveway for 10 minutes and then I had to shuffle all of my bags (which i wasn’t prepared for) through a line of impatient cars with a wonky bell cart that I AB’s to try and get loose from behind a huge trick - in heels…and in 40 degree. Check in was smooth and quick. Room surpassed what I thought it was. All in all, not too shabby. If you’re solo traveling or have any accessibility concerns, I would plan for a lot of tome to get from the street to your room. Safe, clean and slightly swanky.

Booked a single suite. Suite was OVER the top clean and spotless. The room was equipped with a fully loaded kitchen (with stove).
Comfortable bed. Awesome lobby that allowed my party to eat after a long night on 6th street lol. Friendly staff, awesome location.

Great affordable hotel right downtown! Breakfast included with you stay. Very clean room. Friendly staff. Did have very noisy neighbors the first night and they only have valet parking which is $52 a night. Overall it’s a good hotel for a decent price.

reception and its staff are very helpful and warm; Jasmin, who I think is their supervisor must be training them well; I have stayed here my second time after two weeks of being there, and much as like to try another hotel in the area I was concerned that we will not get the same reception as they give in Marriot Courtyard/Residence. The hotel is always clean; breakfast is good.

Great location, close to shopping and dining and the convention center. Kitchen in the room made it so we didn't have to eat out all the time but could make our own meals if we wanted to. Very clean and super friendly helpful staff.

We were moved three times until a manger got involved
Rooms initially were super dirty
On smelled like cigarettes and one smelled like the furnace was burning hair
The manager finally came up to the room to “ check “ and charged up room.
We checked in and it took 1 hour to get us in a room.
Then we came home from celebrating our wedding anniversary and sketchy guys were on our floor . We felt so unsafe we left. WHAT A WASTE of $250
I also noticed they charged my wife’s CC $60 and $52
Which is crazy for parking.
Then k got charged for the room what seems to like a double charge
I’ll be calling my back.
Over all we are so unhappy we are going to leave and drive home
2 hours with no sleep because we don’t feel safe here

Location was great for walking, dining and music.
We booked a studio which was nice but the couch was uncomfortable for sitting. Had a few issues with the wifi. Breakfast in the morning was really good, lots of choices and the staff providing the food were very friendly and helpful.

Loved the room layout, friendliness of the staff and location within the city of Austin..so central to Rainey Street, 6th St, the conference options, etc. Loved it! My only complaint is that the breakfast was just awful. We have stayed at Marriot properties for years and I have never had anything this bad. I know COVID has created some restrictions but this breakfast is not worthy of the Marriot name.

I'd suggest looking somewhere else
I never leave bad reviews. Ever. I want people to have a clear idea of what they're getting though. The building itself is nice but the only parking option is valet, which is $49 a night. There is very limited parking around the hotel and if you find some, it's likely to be about the same cost. Inside the suite (we had a 1 bedroom apartment) there are no dressers or anywhere to put your clothes, except hanging in the closet. Hard if you're staying there for an extended period (we were there for 5 nights and had to leave everything in our suitcases). Lastly, they won't mention it but they are not offering room cleaning unless you are a Bonvoy member and specifically ask for it. Then it's next day service. I wouldn't have minded except for the fact that no one ever mentioned it at check in and then when I requested our room be cleaned (on day 3), I was told that it would be done and it wasn't. It wasn't until I called down that night when we got back at 10:30 that I was told that service is limited to Bonvoy members (which I am but couldn't remember my information).
The hotel restaurant is also closed, seemingly indefinitely. Starbucks is open 6-1 every morning though, so there's that. The buffet breakfast is minimal - with breakfast burritos and cereal one morning and kolaches and cereal available the next. After that we stopped looking.
All told it's a nice looking hotel, but with limited services. For $300 a night (after the valet fee), I'd probably stay somewhere else.

Our flights were canceled due to the ice storm in the area and we had to cancel the hotel. They still charged us for one night despite having to cancel due to issues not under our control. I will have to consider whether or not to do business with Marriott chains in the future even though I have spent hundreds of nights in That chain’s hotels.

When I went to shower in the evening, there was no hot water, NONE. I called the front desk and they said they would send maintenance. About 30 minutes later a maintenance man showed up - still no hot water. He turned all the faucets on and let them run, then left and returned about 10 minutes later. He then said there was a big conference in the hotel and all the guests had returned, they all likely were using water and it was an old hotel, but the boilers were working so I would just need to wait for it to replenish. So I waited another hour or so. Same thing happened the following morning.
There was also no longer a restaurant on site and the very limited breakfast provided was just in the open lobby and was cold - the "hot items" were ice cold as they did not even have warmers. Very limited seating for breakfast.
While the Residence Inn had cooking facilities in the room there was nowhere nearby to purchase food/beverages. The very limited inhouse market was grossly overpriced.
The hotel was grossly overpriced for the lack of amenities.

Nos gusto mucho , fue perfecto para nosotros un estudio para una familia de 3 personas. Por la pandemia y escasez de personal nos toco esperar unos dias para la limpieza y arreglo pero despues marcho muy bien. Todo el staff fue amable y colaborador. La localizacion es perfecta , tiene cerca multiples opciones de transporte y el sistema de bus funciona bien. Esta en la zona hotelera del centro . Para nosotros fue muy buena la estancia de nuestra lprimera vez en Austin. En cuanto a seguridad como en muchas ciudades es el centro donde se ve mucha gente sin hogar, hay que estar atentos e informarse por donde es mas seguro caminar.

Check in and out was very friendly! Room was very spacious and clean. Gorgeous view from our windows of 9th floor. Breakfast area are shall have more chairs and tables. Some people did not have any chairs and were eating while standing. Breakfast was good.
taff was very responsive to our request to unclog the toilet bowl.
Plumbing service shall be performed any because water from bathtub was draining very slowly.
