I’m not sure the linen on the bed was changed. There was an empty pillowcase under the blanket and hair on the pillows. I didn’t particularly care for the smell in the room either. The staff was nice and the hotel was clean.

Didn't like that soap for shower was not provided. Coffee station was not available except during breakfast time. when we booked it said the coffee station was always available.

Check in was fast and smooth. The young lady that checked me in on Saturday night was so professional, accommodating and kind. Room was beautiful. Only thing is the bathtub didn't have a stopper. When the engineering staff came to check it out, he used profanity which I felt was inappropriate to say in front of a guest. Maybe it's just me. Even though he was unable to find a stopper that was an exact fit for the tub, he was very very nice and really tried to help me and I appreciated that.
Ultimately I wouldn't mind staying at this property again.

It was okay for overnight. They need to upgrade their bedding
When I went to close the bathroom door the handle came off in my hand.
PLUS THEY CHANGED ME FOR PARKING
If it wasn’t 9 o’clock at night I would have went to another hotel.
Just the principle
I’ve never been charged for parking at a hotel in my life.

Hotel and room were clean. Check in was friendly and nice.
Was not happy got charged $5 a day parking for staying in a hotel I’m already paying for.
Sheets were awful. Felt like sleeping in paper. Bed was just uncomfortable.

The property is in a good location for my work. A lot of Construction Workers seem to use this hotel likely due to the low price. The appearance is not bad. elavators are old a noisy. Breakfast is NOT good - just bypass it. Bedding needs updating ... overly soft and sagging.

Very Clean Affordable Motel
Amazingly clean motel. Friendly and courteous staff from the exceptional front desk clerk to the housekeepers. Plenty of safe parking spaces. The most amazing thing is it’s right next to a great tasting affordable restaurant that serves breakfast, lunch and dinner. I highly highly recommend this motel. They get 10 plus stars from me.

The hotel was not very clean, the service was not a good standard and housekeeping did not come for the last two days and checkout was terrible. We were charged a higher rate then expected.The only thing good was the employee who checked us in upon arrival.

I loved how this hotel was exactly what we needed. A safe room that was clean and it didn't break the bank at all. I do wish I had known the mini fridge didn't have a freezer in it. It's not a big deal and wouldn't have been a deal breaker for me either way. I also didn't realize the hotel charges $5 per night for parking... again, not a big deal for me at all. I would stay there again in a heartbeat.

Our stay was overall good. I’m not sure what’s going on with housekeeping but this is the 2nd time we’ve been put in a room and there was hair in the bathroom. Our TV also wasn’t working, and WiFi was iffy. Overall, we had a good stay, no complaints other than what I listed.

It was great. Only issue was the lady working the breakfast buffet. Does she really have to follow you to every station while ur making breakfast? Her braids were nice but she was doing a too much.

Will not recommend.
The description is wrong on a lot of counts. Coffee is only available during free breakfast and the room coffee sucks.
The room was not very clean. Thank God I had my own sanitizing wipes. The parking is not free as stated on the website. On a good note, the staff is very friendly and helpful. A Friendly's is on the property which offers great coffee and food. Will not recommend.

It could be an OK place to stay if the stuff will do their job on cleaning but hair in the shower and bed and dog hair on the bad skirts are not acceptable to me sorry

I have stayed here a couple times over the years. Today was the first time I was charged for parking. I do not understand why I am paying for parking when I have already paid to stay at the property. I would think that parking at the property that I am staying at wouldn’t be an extra charge. Also, I have to question how good they clean the rooms. As I was in the shower and looked up at the sliding class door there was a used bar of soap. I would assume not a great cleaning and just a quick clean and pick up. I probably won’t be staying here anymore moving forward.

The front desk girl when we checked in was rude. When we booked it said pet friendly. Didn’t say there would be a charge every night for a pet plus you have to take the dog with you when you leave. We had 1 hand towel and 1 wash cloth. The room floor was filthy. The bottom of my white socks were BLACK YUCK!!!!

Nice, comfy hotel. Breakfast is a small self serve waffle machines with some fruit, bagels, toast, and cereal. Was kinda disappointed with that aspect. Hotel was clean, and quiet most nights. Had someone in room next to me with TV so loud i coildnt sleep my last night there. Overall i would stay there again if i visit Myrtle Beach again.

I knew it wouldn't be the best place to stay but very last minute on my behalf. Bugs were found in the shower, and the walls were thin enough to hear your neighbor pray.

We’ve stayed at this property plenty of times with no issues but this time, we encountered some issues. There was hair on the wall in the showers, they didn’t provide any wash cloths (luckily my wife brings her own anyway),, and they only provided one small bar of soap. We had to go buy our own. They recently started charging for parking as well. Hopefully, things will be different the next time we visit.

FRIENDLY STAFF
The staff was very friendly in checking us in and out. I was very surprised that this company would only allow staf to put 1 washcloth in a room with 3 people and staying 4 nights. We got in late and left early each morning causing us to miss the cleaning ladies.

Good first: very clean, bed was comfortable, pillows were to die-for, and the late-night desk clerk (older female) went the extra mile.
But: We really resented the nickel and dime-ing, starting with $5/night for parking. I looked for a vending machine to get a Coke, and instead I found a price list where everything -- even water -- was jacked up like you were in an airport. The free breakfast was disappointing (hardboiled eggs-- really?). Also, and I know this sounds petty, but the lamp by the mirror in the room was burned out and the ice bucket was hidden under the bathroom sink -- these are attention-to-detail things that shouldn't happen.
So, a clean, safe, comfortable place to sleep, but don't count on amenities.

We were there for days last week. The room was definitely not the cleanest. We had to ask for another set of sheets as there was a stain. We were advised the room wouldnt be cleaned during our stay (no cleaning available). We could come to pick up towels at the front desk. I also have pictures to submit of the room, where can i submit these ? There was a gap in the door where light comes through (not very safe) red stains on the wall beside the bed. At checkin i was asked what room Id like.... apparently the 4th floor was the quietest. Lobby was comfortable, free breakfast, free coffee. At checkout we were not asked how our stay was. I was ready to have this conversation at that time.

Nice stay but could use some updating
Check in went well, room was clean. Bed mattress needs to be replaced, worn out out and not comfortable. Breakfast was not that desirable went out for breakfast.

DO NOT STAY HERE
I stayed at this location for four days, this was my first time visiting Myrtle Beach and the location was great for where I needed to be. But there was no housekeeping for the entire stay, I had to call the front desk for clean towels, wash clothes & hand soap. The garbage was never taken out, the beds were never made. It was a horrible experience! I do not recommend this place at all!

We'd stay here again.
It's rare that we'll stay at a hotel and not find anything to criticize about the accomodations, but this was one of those times. Check-in was easy, our room was clean, good water pressure with plentiful hot water, A/C unit worked great, the continental breakfast had good choices served in a clean environment... All for an awesome rate for two nights. The only thing negative that I could possibly say was that I had to pay to park on the property. Not a big deal, as the cost was nominal, but I don't remember reading that while booking the reservation.
The biggest compliment: My wife said she would be more than happy to stay here again, which is high praise for a hotel from her.

The hotel & staff was great, but didn't like paying for parking $5.00 at night and having to wait for wash linens to bathe with.
Also, people who have barking pets and crying babies should be on separate floors and not allowed to visit other floors disturbing other paying guest.

The property is centrally located which was nice. The front desk person was pleasant and friendly at check-in.
Down side: family that were in 3 rooms surrounding mine had 2 children younger than 5. The used the hallway as a race track and play ground. When they checked out the room next to me had a dog that was practicing it's barking skills at all hours.
The worst part of my stay was when my big toe got caught under the bathroom door, ripping off my toenail and the first layer of skin. When i brought this to the attention of the desk clerk on duty sh laughed nervously and made a joke about the amount of blood that was on the bathroom floor.
Otherwise, the room was comfortable.

When booking the king suite I was not expecting 2 separate rooms! It was great since we are traveling with our baby. We were able to set him up for sleep in the main room while we relaxed in bed watching Christmas Vacation.

2 double beds are quite small even for small adults. Should be upgraded to 2 queen beds. There was no hair dryer in the bathroom which made it very inconvenient when you had to shower before bed. Room rate was good. Breakfast was really limited on choices. Receptionists were really friendly and helpful. Overall, pretty good experience in terms of room rate in off season.

Front desk was great and very polite, but that was the extent of it. There wasn’t a big variety of choices for breakfast. When we checked in to our room on the 2nd floor, hair was found in both beds, the room smelled musky, and the bathroom was filthy. We thought the toilet just had stains on it, however when my daughter went to wipe the seat, it came off. Disgusted, I immediately called the front desk and the front desk was very apologetic and gave us a new room. She did made a comment that I thought was odd. “I’ll put you on room 4 because I know the housekeeper on that floor actually cleans.” The second room was better. It did smell cleaner when we walked in and there wasn’t any hair on the beds and the bathroom looked cleaner. The hotel is dated and needs some love and care. The black out curtains had holes in them, the doors and walls were dirty. The rooms really need a deep clean. Thankfully we weren’t in our room for long. Mainly just to sleep. I don’t think I’ll be staying again.

We loved our stay at this property! The staff was so helpful and friendly with suggestions for places to eat and about easy access to the beach! It in walking distance!! Also the airport lost our luggage for a day and a half, the staff here was so helpful with letting us know when it was finally delivered and held it for us while we were out exploring Myrtle Beach! I will highly recommend to all my family and friends when they visit!! Thanks again! PS: The breakfast was delicious w/giant waffles and even healthy options of boiled eggs and wheat toast ;))

The description on Expedia stated there was an indoor pool (there is not) and 4 minutes from beach (much longer). Breakfast offerings were more limited than at other La Quintas where I have stayed.

There was nothing outstanding. It was ordinary at best.
The problems were many. Among them were hidden fees, lack of shower items, insufficient cups for coffee, a broken compressor on the AC. That broken compressor made a great deal of noise.
I would not recommend this motel.

I've stayed before and it's a nice place but now they charge $15 to park!?
It doesn't say it on the listing but when you arrive there are signs everywhere telling you to pay. Front desk manager said sorry, that's the way it is now. I cancelled and went to another hotel.

The room was ok except for the huge roach in it. I’ve never been put on the third floor with my dog. He was afraid of the elevator but he’s too old to take all those stairs. There were people hanging around outside in the dark that seemed strange. I have no idea why there is $15 parking when it’s not on the beach. Or why I didn’t know earlier - I probably wouldn’t have stayed here.

I liked have a frig and a microwave in my room. The room was pretty quiet, even though Highway 17 is in the front of the property. There's also a Friendly's next door! I haven't seen a Friendly's in years. The hotel prices were reasonable. The staff - Bonnie and the girls were so sweet, welcoming and helpful! Good Experience with having my little dog with me.
