Pet friendly, bad smell
We got moved. The hotel was pet friendly and smelled like wet dog. My parents door was off the hinges and when reported they said thanks, we’ll look into it. My step father had to lift door up each time to leave room. Worse part is they never contacted us that we were being moved to a different hotel. I had called to confirm and had to call several times to find out new location, etc. Will not stay here again.

Think twice about it
I have used this hotel many times before and just seems to be going downhill.the card entry system still doesn't work for exterior doors 2 years later. I do not think housekeeping knows what a vaccum is.maitence department has no idea how to clean carpets. Housekeeping should be given scrubbing bubbles to use on tubs it doesn't matter what area you stay in the hotel same issue. The biggest draw back was the group in the lobby when I arrived then I found out they are using hotel as housing. The other big iss was when I went up stairs to my room the whole hallway smelled of fish.(cooked)when I got to my room other end of hall I left my door open and open the window to get smell out of hallway.i said something to the front desk they informed me it was a long term tenant. They apologized to me. I said say something tell they to open windows when cooking. I guess it's time to find a new place when in town because it truly seems that the owner of property doesn't care about things. The front desk did all they could for me I said thank you. It's amazing that the price here is only slightly less than other hotels in area with far better amenities.

The room had no ventilation and smelled bad, and I was assigned a room without even changing the bed sheets. I was on the first floor and the window screen door was torn and I couldn't even open it for air circulation. The length of the shower handle so tight that even an adult woman could not open the shower by my self without my husband's help. Only good thing kind every staff and Coffee prepared in the lobby.

Staff was pleasant. Building is in need of improvement in every area. Non smoking, but room smelled of smoke. Bed was lumpy looking. Icemaker roared and leaked down the hall. After a local evening event, we chose to make a 2-hour middle-of-the-night drive home rather than stay.

Shady place
Locked doors raises safety questions. Front desk staff was very good. Super friendly. Room smelled of smoke. Pillows were tiny. Stains on sheets. Bathroom was not good. Cracked tiles, dirty floor, stained tub. Definitely not the standard of Quality Inn’s I’ve stayed in before.

When I arrived at the property, I sat in the parking lot with my young son and looked around, The building to the left had one window where it looked like someone had a brawl inside. The blinds were all beaten up and looked awful. I had read the reviews and they seemed mixed. I didn't feel safe going into the hotel so we left. I booked into the Tru Hilton a couple of doors down and called the Quality and cancelled my reservation. I am not usually a nervous person staying at hotels as I travel by myself often. This hotel just didn't feel safe to me. It looks as though people might live there instead of it being a hotel only facility.

Owner needs to look into property
The owner needs to fix outside door locks. Rugs could use a good cleaning/ shampoo. Other than that it was a good place to stay

Good place overall
The owner needs to fix the eletronic door entry. This has been a issue for a while.if door is not propped open you can't get back in. You can go to front door but if nobody in lobby and the desk clerk has to go help another guest your stuck outside.

Satisfied stay
It was just a quick night stay was very clean. Everything was intact. The only issue was the toilet was running slow, but I let the front end know so hope they were able to get that resolved.

Fine for one night on the road but would not stay there alone, and wouldn’t stay again. Paid over $140 Canadian, thinking it would be decent, but it was more like a $60 budget hotel. Didn’t feel very safe, one of the outside doors never locked so anyone could get inside. Don’t Recommend.

The room was very musty, the sheets had yellow stains. The carpet looked dirty whereas I refused to walk barefoot. The check out person was in a corner and I had to walk over to give her my key card. She mumbled when I asked a question, did not even say thank you.
The check in person was pleasant and it smelled clean when you walked in to the front lobby. Only stayed overnight.

The night staff was really nice but the 2nd floor smelled like smoke throughout the hallways. The room we were first assigned reeked of smoke. I called the check in guy and he offered to change the room for us and assured us it was a no smoke hotel. But again, the entire hallway smelled like smoke. The second room we were offered smelled less like smoke but still had a funky smell and was a different bed arrangement than we booked. The double beds were tiny. Parts of the bathroom were chipping away. Some of the carpet was ripped out. Very run down. I’ve had better experience at quality inn before and was disappointed by this one and ended up canceling my 2nd night here.

I arrived at the hotel and I was immediately struck by the smell of cigarette smoke. The smell starts in the lobby and is throughout the hotel. I was assured the hotel is non-smoking. Upon entering the room, I noted dead roaches

The service was terrible. I found a bed bug on my daughter's bed and asked to have a different room. It took almost half hour of back and forth argument before my room was finally switched.
Also, I had to wait almost 45 minutes to get.clean towels to take a bath.

Disgusted!
I’m not sure why this place is open! We didn’t stay we left because the conditions were beyond terrible!! We left immediately without checking out. The room reeked of marijuana and urine, the rugs were stained, the was a hole in a wall. The refrigerator was filthy and a cockroach came running out when I opened it. I filed a complaint and claim. I want a full refund including fees and taxes.

This property is in the middle of nowhere - stuck in a back parking lot for good reason. The front desk person wasn’t outright rude but took easily five minutes to even acknowledge me despite being the only party there. Roaches, spiders, doors that don’t close all the way and our shower didn’t even work! Do not do not do not stay here. Even after reading all the bad reviews, I was ready to suck it up and just get through the weekend but it was so much worse than I imagined.

Room was not ready to check in at 5pm . 2 hours past checking time . Also rooM was not clean . Shower barely worked. Definitely not worth the money they charge for the nightly stay . I should have requested a discount or refund.

Have stayed here before it's good for a night. Bathroom in every room I have been in needs tlc. The tub needs good scrubbing in every room I have stayed in. The breakfast is good but they need a little more attention to refilling items. I would stay again.

The room was smelling on checkin and had to change rooms but really very old dilapidated condition, bath tubs had black spots , towels had red spots and cut in the carpet. Though they had all amenities in the room - microwave, refrigerator it was very difficult to stay - didn’t feel like walking on room carpet Very unclean . Had a really bad front desk experience when they asked for Expedia to call for any changes and the front desk was not picking the call when Expedia called until I stood on conference with Expedia in front of front desk. Surely the conditions Not worth the quality inn brand Only saving grace was the breakfast which was fine and also the front desk at night that helped resolve issues

Rude receptionist on the phone with a friend while checking us in. Put in a room in between the gym and laundry so it was impossible to sleep. Air conditioning has a loud squeal, guy banging on dryer in the middle of the night.

We needed a place to stay overnight for a family emergency; very few available places with vacancies. This is an older property in a commercial area- good because close to stores, EV charging, restaurants and main drag - bad because of unattractive demolition activity in front of the Inn. Though it in an obvious older place it appears that care has been taken to patch and maintain. The bedding was newer and quite lush, room and bathroom very, very clean. When we checked in around 4:00 pm and searched for our room we met a staff person who went above and beyond to offer help - wish I'd asked her name - she set the tone for a positive stay. Quiet, great bedding, hot water / good water pressure, Rooms are non smoking but had old cigarette smell - not a deal-breaker, I would stay there again.

Service good, room felt like a weekly rental
We booked and even noted we needed no stairs for access and they never opened up that part til we got there. They scrambled to find us a room as this was non refundable. Service was good for doing that. As for thw room we were put in....it definitely was damaged room and looked more like a weekly rental room for someone who didnt care.

The property is old and in need of being updated. The receptionist did NOT represent the words on her shirt “Professional Responsive Quality”. She did not look up when we came in and never made eye contact. She was slouched sideways and did not get up or look us in the eye.

Gross!!!
I walked into the room and there was a dirty washcloth on the floor behind the door. And the bathtub was beyond gross. There was mildew all over the caulking and so much soap and whatever else buildup all over the bathtub. I have never seen anything so bad in a hotel.

Cockroaches and general filthiness throughout the property. Spend a little extra and stay clear of this property. Expedia was no help when I addressed my concerns. I will no longer trust their reviews after this nightmare experience.

Roaches in our room!
I am not a snob and certainly don’t expect a 5-star experience from a 2-star hotel. HOWEVER, I do expect a basic level of cleanliness and most certainly a roach-free environment!
We arrived late (myself and 3 children) and just got ready for bed and turned in, so we didn’t really notice any roaches. But, in the morning, I opened one of the drawers in the fridge/microwave cabinet and three big cockroaches scurried away. Freaked out, I went to move one of our bags that was on the floor in front of that cabinet, and when I did, a whole group of baby roaches ran out from under the bag. I went to the bedside cabinet to get my phone to try to get photos, and when I unplugged my phone, another baby roach ran out from the power socket. I quickly smashed it with my bare hand and put it on a tissue to show the front desk. Horrified, we moved our other bags, and three of them that were on the floor (near the fridge cabinet) had baby roaches hiding underneath. We packed up and got out as quickly as possible. (Breakfast was inedible anyway)
I went to the front desk with the dead roach in a tissue to express my concerns and the girl working the front desk initially didn’t believe me. Then once shown the roach, said she’d make a note for maintenance to take a look. I asked for a refund and she said no. I asked to speak to a manager was informed that there wasn’t one in that day. She said all she could do was take down my info and have her call me later. No one ever contacted me.

The gym need help
It’s a nice stop for the night hotel but I found super inconvenience that the gym area a super little and nothing works and the equipment it’s old. The service lady’s look that they no like working there and only one desk service was nice and smiled. I stay for a cheap one night stay but next time I’ll take a Motel

Ok for the price, but wouldn’t recommend. We were greeted upon our arrival by a homeless man eating a meal right outside the front door. The lobby looked a bit like a crime scene with tape markings on the floor. Most of the electrical outlets in our room didn’t work, including the only one in the bathroom. The bathtub was visibly filthy. Not a great selection for breakfast either. Very disappointed, but I’ll consider it a win if none of us end up with scabies!

Not impressed. The hair dryer didn't work nor did the outlet in the bathroom. There was an outlet under the desk but it was a very poor connection. Room wasn't that clean. Won't stay here again. There were 2 beds and one had a huge indent in mattress.

The property has basic accommodations. It is undergoing some renovations on the outside. This construction work might be causing pests to show up inside the rooms. Specifically, I killed 6 cockroaches in my room in a single night - 5 in the bathroom, 1 on the night table next to the bed. Also, the property generally appears to be catering more to the homeless crowd and is not as well kept as the other Quality Inn at West Springfield. Hopefully, management can bring this Chicopee Quality Inn back up to par.

People live there
Upon arrival I found out that many people live there so I was greeted by some undesirables. As a single female traveling alone it made me uncomfortable. The room I was given was right by a door that was propped open and had two beds when I reserved a king. I asked for a new room and received it but the bathtub was stained, the Tv kept flicking to no sound and there were stains all over the carpet. I had to walk around with shoes on.

Outdated, dirty, smelly
No idea how this hotel can have the rating it does. Should be a 0 out of 10. Extremely dirty and outdated. The room was unclean and had stains. The floorboards creeked and felt like we might fall through the floor. The tub was distgusting and if we weren't exhausted from driving all day and checked that the sheets at least were clean, we wouldn't have stayed. The stench as soon as we walked in the room was cigarettes and must. There was an old air freshener stuffed into the air conditioning unit trying to mask the smell.

Place seemed like a meth house people hang out in there cars in the parkinglot and just not a nice place. Staff didnt even remember they gave me and and my son the room. We were relaxing in our room and someone came in with a key and said this is the room we are suppose to have. I would never recommend this place to anyone!

Liked the room. Good size and easy to manuver since my brother has cataracts. The manager I believe is Krizia. Very helpful with anything I needed! Front desk was friendly. Housekeeping is a little off though.

A pit. First experience was with the three S's: surly, smiling (the only nice one), and sullen. After five brutal hours of traffic, I asked surly if she could possibly check is in at 2:30, rather than 3:00 PM. Without looking at her housekeeping report, or making eye contact, she said "No. Come back later. 30 min later. Smiling actually made eye contact and looked like she was glad to see us. "No problem." The property was, in a word, filthy. Used dental cleaners on the carpeting in the hall, black mold in the bathroom, rusty fixtures in the shower, unpainted plastering in the room. And the list went on. When we couldn't get the shower to work, I tried to call the desk, but the phone wouldn't work, so I walked down to the desk and met sullen. As though it was an imposition, she trudged down to our room, conformed that the phone indeed wasn't working, then struggled to get the exposed plumbing to turn on. Big sigh, and she was gone.
My siggestions: the owner clearly hasn't inspected his property in months. if ever. Either that, or he just doesn't care about his property. His staff (except for smiling) was an embarassment. Virtually no maintenance apparent. Standing garbage overflowing in the parking lot.
If the conditions of the property are acceptable to ownership, they are the equal of a flophouse or a homeless shelter. The real crime was charging a premium rate ($175/2 nights) for a poorly managed, poorly kept property. It needs to be closed.

This motel is badly out of date with its furniture and fixtures and the landscaping is abysmal. It requires some map refurbishments and upgrades. I will never book again at Quality Inn.

Cancelled our visit even have the confirmation we paid to have this service was told by represntative we didn't pay for it nor dod we cancel and even called the hotel at 7 pm. Told us to go thru expedia and got charged a visit that was cancelled. No ONE RETURNED PHONE CALL INSTEAD AN EMAIL SAID OPPS SORRY YOUR STUCK PAYING

I checked in at 3:47 pm. My ordered room was not available. Still not sure why as it was booked a week in advance. Woman at front desk was also confused why. I guess managers don’t work on the weekend! I had booked the executive suite on a corner which was not available. I did get a regular suite room 107. I think there should be a discount because I did not get the executive suite. Room 107 was suitable noisy because of highway at traffic. These little problems have not deterred me from coming back here as I have already made another reservation for October 30-31. Overall experience with this stay is 8 1/2.

Disappointing establishment.
Though signs said the building is smoke free the room reeked of cigarettes, especially the bathroom.
Almost every time I came or went from my room the door at the bottom of the stairs to the outside was propped wide open and there were people hanging out smoking, blocking the walkway and entrance to parking lot.
The walls were thin and noise was a bit of an issue.
There were 4 small plump pillows for the king bed that were so small I had to arrange 3 just to keep my head on a pillow.
The room was nice otherwise, fridge was working but the bathroom could use some TLC. Ceiling was peeling and the water pressure at the sink and bath faucet didn’t translate to the shower head. Toilet also regularly ran to top off tank.

The room itself was fine - but I’m honestly surprised Quality hasn’t taken it’s name off of this property. It’s very literally falling apart. There were derelict cars and random car parts in the parking lot and driveway. It appears they have a contract with the city to house some troubled folks, which is wonderful, except when they’re smoking and drinking directly under my window and walking around the hallways with poorly trained pit bulls in fake “service dog” vests (trained service dogs do not bark and jump on random people in a hallway). That being said, the desk staff were friendly and they at least keep the parking lot well lit. If I’d had my kids with me, I would have left. But if you just need a place to crash, it’s fine.

The staff was not helpful. The room key did not work. After finding a staff member who told us to lift the door lever up first we got it to work. She could have told us when we first checked in. Also no one told us the password for the internet. Carpets were frayed. Not enough soap in the bathroom.
