I'm really torn by this review. Let me start by saying that the staff were lovely, the beds were comfortable, the room was large and smelled clean...
The location is easy to get to shopping and entertainment by car, but an industrial area with nothing, not even a gas station, nearby.
The room was clean but the hallway was chronically littered with little bits of garbage. New Years Eve the whole hotel smelled like pot smoke. In the end I put a towel under the door to keep it out.
It could be one of our favorite hotels (near family, good price) with a little work!

The room was so smelly! The pictures do NOT match what the rooms look like. Super outdated! There is no signal for the tv. Bunch of cr@ckheads hanging out in front of the building. As I said the property pictures don’t match. And the rooms either. Front desk clerk was super sweet and friendly.

Not the most updated property but overall it was worth the price we paid for 4 nights. The room did have a gnat issue and I thought I was supposed to get 2 beds but I didn’t. Those were my only issues but overall it was a nice stay.

The room, pool and grounds were clean and inviting. The area around the hotel felt unsafe. We heard gunshots at night. Dining was not convenient or nearby. There was limited access to food onsite.

Room was not quiet at all. I saw a mouse run behind the toilet in the bathroom. Suppose to have a free breakfast but they tried to sell us coffee. We were booked for two days but just stayed one. Police were there taking someone out in the morning.

Amazing stay
The stay was great, the room was clean and smelled good. Only problem was my freezer didn’t get cold. But I definitely enjoyed my stay and would book a stay again in the future. It’s was a nice & quiet place to stay relax

Unexpected game of hide and seek
Overall this was not the worst hotel but it was very unprofessional and the staff were wholly inattentive. They were friendly when present but were often not available or hiding.
The rooms are not very cleanly worked in some kind of recent remodeling. Don’t look too hard are the paint jobs.
If I had to stay here again I would but it wouldn’t be my first choice.

Room was very good. Ac worked amazing beds sofa were comfy. Had everything we needed. A bit outdated by didn’t bother us at all. Toilet had a small leak when flushed but for value can’t beat it. The area was also good and quiet

A Good Hotel
This was a nice little hotel. The room was clean. The bathroom had a little tub grout discoloration. The room was a little humid. Overall, I'd stay there again. The one thing was the wedding that was in the hotel that night and they wedding party had a fireworks show in a box at around midnight. But even that was respectful.

Linda needs a raise!
We had an incredible time at the Clarion Inn. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. We have to give a shout-out to Linda because she is an absolute gem and a total sweetheart!!!

Minor issue, but overall very good stay!
The hotel staff were friendly and courteous when checking in and checking out. The cleaning staff were extremely polite and friendly in the hallways.The only complaints I have are my room had horrible water pressure and no tub stopper, the screw was exposed...and the pool was so icy our boys lips turned blue so they couldn't stay in it very long and it looked like it could use a good scrubbing.

Room was okay clean but first room we had no bathroom lights had to change rooms. The restaurant was never open Pool definitely was not heated and customer service was horrible. The people at front desk just talk to each other and disappear, rude and I herd them talking about people staying there. Hallway’s smell like marijuana. Definitely not kid friendly.

I had a great stay. I only needed a one-night stay and I was looking to save a little money. I got a very good price. The room was clean. No frills, no worries. The place was fully booked. Friendly staff. Easy check-out. Thanks.

Pool was dirty and cold. The hotel rooms are outdated, old carpet everywhere, noisy guests that don’t abide by the hotel policy/guidelines. Bistro restaurant in the hotel is basically a high school cafeteria.

I stayed here from Friday to Sunday to recover from my surgery I had close to this location. The staff was amazingly nice and accommodating. The sheets were stained with what looked like blood, bathtub wasn’t very clean, with the knob all the way on hot the water was barely warm, my outlets in the bathroom didn’t work. But all of that for the most part doesn’t equal to how loud this hotel is. My recovery instructions for my eyes (which is what I had surgery on) was to sleep and keep them closed. I couldn’t sleep for all of the kids banging on crap, stomping, adults hollering, slamming doors, etc. I tried staying medicated enough to keep me knocked out but it didn’t help all of the background noise. I also didn’t receive any of my silver VIP discounts at the restaurant like I was supposed to. All in all, this hotel is not for anyone who needs to sleep, business trips, or basically anyone without loud kids/teens. I’d definitely look into a better one. When I come for my post op appointments I will not be staying here.

This hotel had very nice and helpful staff. Nice heated pool area. Did not care for the cleanliness of the rooms. Lots of stains in carpet and window curtains. Was moved from one room to another due to window not locking in first room while on first floor of hotel but next room had same issue but stuck it out for my daughter sleepover just didn’t get and sleep due to window and beds on website says queen beds but more like full size

I reserved this property through Expedia and understood the cost at that time to be around $100. There was no indication of an additional pet fee. I got to the property and was informed there was an additional $50 pet fee. I felt this was very deceptive to learn about the pet fee after arrival when I had no other viable alternative. I will not be booking at a Clarion again.

Room was small and smelled. I booked got my key and left. Came back 3 hrs later and keys wouldn’t work . Went to desk to get replacements . Finally got in and seemed someone had been inside , and left a McDonald’s drink cup in the waste basket

Psychotic and Incompetent Hotel Receptionist
The lady at the front desk was not wearing a name tag. She made me stand and wait 20-25 minutes before helping me check-in. She informed me the debit card processing machine was not working and she needed to write my debit card number/ information on paper to add it later for the $50 deposit. She wrote all of my debit card information on a piece of paper. Later after my spouse and I had showered and got comfortable, she knocked on the door. We answered the door, and she informed us that she had repeatedly been calling with no answer. We let her know we have yet to receive a call on the phone located in the room. She then says she needs my debit card information again and to call her when I have my clothes on and ready to provide the card information again. When I looked at my cellphone, I realized I had ten calls from her on my CELLPHONE. I returned her call as advised and provided my debit card number AGAIN, which went through. -__- .... The next morning around 9 am, my spouse and I were in bed, and the housekeeper used her key and walked right in without knocking first, then apologized and walked out, which was strange. This was a bad and strange experience.

I really hate complaining, but need to pass this along. First, the building needs updates. It's dated and has tears in the carpeting and many dings and scratches on doors and walls, not just in common areas but inside the rooms.
Those issues aren't deal breakers, but cleanliness, or the lack of, is a dealbreaker. There was blood on the wall outside the shower and a booger on the shower curtain inside. Seriously, a whole booger. On the inside of the bathroom door was a piece of soap or toothpaste, which tells me attention to detail is not required or even appreciated by the housekeeping staff or whoever inspects the rooms before releasing them.
Our two-night stay turned into a one-night stay.

Okay Stay for One Night Only
It was okay for one night. Hotel needs upgrades updates. Hard to believe they actually have a ballroom for events. Buusiness park location kind of strange. Restaurants must be driven to as none are nearby.
Rooms were comfortable enough, but bathroom could use some TLC. Accumulation of dust on ceiling fan and toilet role holder coming out of wall could be easily fixed. Could use a free breakfast, too, even it it's continental only. Also, coffee wasn't available other than in rooms and that lacked flavor. Foods were all for purchase.
I've stayed in other Choice hotels and this one is on par with those. Won't anymore.

The attendant was not welcoming and seemed to have a problem with me. I kept asking questions and he was not responding until my boyfriend asked him my questions. The room door was hard to open. We had to force the door open each time we entered the room.
