Unpleasant visit!
Sadly, our 25th anniversary mini getaway was ruined. When I booked the room it did not say that the pool was closed and that they were closing the hotel the check-out day for repairs so we had to leave early. I will not stay there ever again.

We will return very nice staff and hotel, the restaurant has nice drinks and good food. Restaurant staff are very friendly. They are closing today for renovation so we feel the bittersweet of the employees but they were happy and willing to go back in January ♥️

That was a beautiful scenery facing love beachside has a tiki bar diner in for breakfast lunch and dinner just that was great to give us free cookies I enjoyed my study I will recommend to that to me one if they get in the hotel at the DoubleTree make sure to face the ocean outside outside view

The hotel staff was very nice and accommodating.indid not like the underground parking. It made this 4 star hotel look dingy at first impression. Also did not like that only way to access pool was through underground parking lot or many stairs. Rooms were nice and clean. Inside of hotel is nice. Pool area is small. Loved that it is right on the beach.

Beautiful place to stay
The main draw is, of course, the gorgeous location, with beach view. We had a corner room, which afforded us a beautiful glimpse of the water. Was a bit disappointed in the pool, which was quite small. Generally the property was very attractive and well kept up. Staff members were friendly and helpful, especially the individual who was very prompt when we needed help with the room safe. He also was very quick to help with our baggage when we checked out. Would definitely recommend this hotel.

I wasn't happy that I had to pay for parking separate for every night stayed I feel that if I was a guest there at my parking should be included also I didn't like the breakfast coupon I feel that if I didn't spend the whole thing I should be able to give the difference to the wait staff as a tip

Really enjoyed the property and the staff. The property was well maintained and right on the beach in a beautiful location. It was a great experience de overall and the rooms were clean and updated. Minor amenity issues (only 2 elevators that were clogged at certain times of day, no microwaves in room) but they are about to remodel the entire site. We will be back!

The shower was the worst😠 the AC makes some weird noise that pushed my anxiety so high. To get to the lobby is not convenient. And charges was so high on everything.

Check in was fine, none complaints but not as friendly as is usual in most of the hotels
They remove the umbrellas at 5:30 PM when still there are almost 3 more hours of sunshine
But in general the hotel is fine, I would like to comeback

It was dated, but they did have a sign up that they were going to be redoing the loby area. the elevators semmed very slow. Dinning was okay but very over priced.
Was a good area to be by the beach as it was very close.

We had a great time!
Pros: nicest hotel staff we have ever encountered. In-house restaurant was delicious! Beach access straight out of the hotel. Perfect location. AC in room was SO powerful. Nice big TV in room. Beautiful views from oceanside balcony. Would definitely stay again.
Cons: paying for parking (should be included considering the price of the hotel room). Wish the ice machines were shut off at nighttime at some point. Our room was 2 doors down from it and we could hear people getting ice all night. Was really annoying. Will make sure we request one away from ice machine next time. Rooms could stand to be updated but seems they are updating at the end of this year.
Overall, we had a great stay and would stay here again. The staff alone shows pride in their jobs, and everyone seemed genuinely happy to work there. Easily the nicest hotel staff we've ever had.

It’s was a nice, relaxing trip. The kids loved it and it was nice to have on site food and beverage service. Wish the menus were a tad bit more robust but everything was so good. And even though adult beverages were pricey, they weren’t weak… and the fact there was a happy hour was nice addition. One area by the pool was super stinky but if you got inside the gate fast enough and away from the trash, it wasn’t an issue. The beach is much narrower than I’ve experienced but just shows erosion is a big concern along the coast. Wish there was a little more info when checking in about times of the happy hours, rental fees and explanation on how to rent the chairs/umbrellas (besides reading when you enter the beach) just to have some more on site information. Curious to see how their renovations work out during the fall.

Great location, nice and quiet. Seems like hotels are getting rid of cooking facilities in order to force you to eat out. No grill, no microwave etc.

Down to one elevator again, pool area next to trash dumpster and terrible Oder, Sliding glass doors glass is deeply etched and almost impossible to open/close, filthy deck and tiki bar area, place is just not nice.

We have been coming to this hotel off and on for years. It is convenient to several restaurants, shopping, sightseeing. The 2nd elevator was not working while we were there so had to wait a little longer for the one elevator. We had a problem with people and screaming kids at the pool in the middle of the night but after we reported it they made sure it didn't happen again. If you want a beach view room away from the pool and loud music be sure to ask when you book to be away from that area. All the staff was great and you get delicious warm cookies at the desk.

We stayed in a beach view room on the 4th floor and loved it. The room was spacious, clean and comfortable, and the view was beautiful. Restaurant and tiki bar were great. Best to reserve a beach cabana early or bring along beach chairs. The team handling the cabanas adjusts them for you all day. The beach was also steps from the hotel which was nice compared to some of the other options we looked at. Very easy for my mom to walk out to. Music and restaurant chatter on the back deck goes until 11ish so if you need quiet earlier, it may be helpful to have a city view room. It was not overly loud though. We loved walking to the adorable and delicious Sweet Sage Cafe up the street and the trolly stop is right in front of the hotel for a quick ride north or south to other great areas as well. You could easily enjoy a relaxing vacation just staying right there on property too!

Pros: Front desk and cleaning crew were kind and diligent. Hotel was overall clean and the the food was decent. Ice creams shops and other restaurants within walking distance. They had a live music.
The bad: Small pool although it was never congested the time we went. The pool chairs were limited. No pool drink/food service. Hotel keys did not work multiple times.

The staff here were friendly and helpful. Lunch at Mangoes restaurant was tasty and it offered a beautiful view of the Gulf of Mexico (we returned for sunset). The beach was clean and the pool inviting. Our room was spacious and comfortable.

The front desk staff were friendly. The room is outdated, headboard has some fabric peeled. A tiny bathroom, tub has stained. The draperies in the room were very dirty, it hasn't been washed for a long time, disgusting. Traffic noise. Phone was dusty. Ugly granite countertops. The beds were comfortable. I will not return to this property.

When trying to check in I was told I didn’t have a reservation. Either Expedia didn’t follow through with the itinerary change OR Hilton doesn’t like 3rd party reservations.
I had to call Expedia and they called and we were able to get a room.

Lobby is nice and clean. Staff was very helpful. You are given large delicious chocolate chip cookie at check-in. Can also go each day to get a cookie. Umbrellas and chairs and Cabanas with chairs can be rented on the beach. Indoor and outdoor tables for eating.
The safe in our room would not lock. They offered to come up and fix it but we declined. One end of the shower curtain rod was coming out of the wall. Informed front desk as we were leaving and they said it would be fixed. Lots of restaurants in the area.

The view from the balcony was perfect however the room is dated but I understand it's 6 months they'll be doing renovating. From the main floor where the lobby is located if you're going out to the restaurant or the beach it is not handicap accessible.

Couple fathers for a few days.
The staff was great. Very pleasant and a accommodating. The hotel room could use some updating. Slider door was falling apart. Didn’t even have a handle. And I understand being on the beach causes one musty smell but there are ways of controlling this. And as a guest of the hotel you should. It have to pay for your car yo stay there. We had a nice time.

A Wonderful Stay!
My husband and I have stayed at many hotels throughout the years. This hotel made us feel at home from the start. At check-in, Kennedy was efficient, helpful and bubbly. She went out of her way to be friendly throughout our stay. Joel, the Concierge, was most helpful getting our luggage to our room and back to our car when we left. Joy and Darla were our servers. We enjoyed them both. We had a spectacular view and a great room. We will be back!

Fantastic place to stay on the beach
Best hotel I’ve stayed at in a while. Clean and comfortable, room had balcony right on the ocean with amazing view. Fantastic service and friendly staff. Easy to check in. Wonderful location close to lots of great restaurants and Johns pass. Would definitely return. Will seek out Hilton hotels just due to the great service all around

I love the layout of this hotel. The pool, Restaurant, Bar Cabana, Beach, everything is very convenient and clean.
The rooms are Pristine and I love the little extras in the rooms like the LED lights, Coffee maker, Fridge, and fine wall decorations. Beds and pillows are really comfortable. Service was also great. If I had to complain about something, it would be the parking fee. I think most customers would rather pay an extra $20 on the room charge than it be added to there bill at the end. It's the nickel and diming that I don't like. Other than that, I would stay here again for sure. Am planning next trip soon. I love the free cookies too.

We always stay here. Did not come during Covid. Wonderful beachfront property. I love opening my patio window when I am in the room listening to the Ocean and feeling the breeze. The only disappointment this time is they told us when we checked in that they were only cleaning the rooms once every four days. It was fine though, we just put our towels outside of our door every day and the trash cans. They were picked up immediately. And replenished. The restaurant is excellent. The pool is just warm enough so you’re not freezing when you jump in. The tiki bar is excellent!

The service in the restaurant was excellent, the food was very good. My only comment and suggestion, the curtains in the bathroom were moldy.Otherwise the stay was very pleasant. The hotel crew was very friendly too.

Every staff member was always pleasant. Small enough hotel where walk to beach and pool were only a matter of seconds.
Nice selection of meals that you can order and eat right there on beach. And the service was quick.
Only downfall is they only cleaned room one day out of the 5 we were there.

The first night, I got up, put my foot in my slipper and a live roach was in there! I went to the other side of the room and entered a crack in the wall. I slept (when I was able to sleep) with all of the lights on in hopes of keeping the roaches away. SO GROSS. I am also allergic to them. I had to check out a day early. I had a reaction of some kind. Trouble breathing, etc..

Way over priced for what it is. Cant control your own a/c. Have to pay for parking. Rooms are mediocre. 1 baggage cart for the entire hotel. You can get an entire condo for the rates they charge. Plus $9 draft beer.

What a nice get away!
Every staff member was so friendly, but I have to shout out Kenneday, she was just a delight and made us feel right at home! The beds and pillows were super comfy and YAS Doubletree, more hotels without carpeting please!!!! The only negative was the mashed potatoes and veggies with dinner, very bland. Everything else exceeded expectations!

I paid $1,350 for two nights. It was a ocean front wrong but still thought it was a little pricey. The views were beautiful though. I like that you are only steps to the water. I also like that they have a outside bar and outside seating for the restaurant. The lady bartender was awesome and on her job. The waitresses however are not. I had to walk up to the bar and get a fork and napkins after my food was served. Have to waiting 20 minutes for my soda I had to just walk to the bar and get it myself. It seems most of the staff don't like their jobs or something. The burger was good.
