Next Best Thing to Being Home
My accommodations were top notch, extremely clean and modern. The bed was comfortable and while I prefer a firmer pillow for sleeping, I was otherwise able to have a good nights rest. It was a pleasant surprise to see a full size refrigerator as well as a dishwasher in the room. If the need ever presents itself for me to stay short or long term in the Chantilly VA area, I will definitely attempt to reserve a room at the Home2 Suites first.
As far as the reason for my trip, a training session for work, I found the meeting room to be aesthetically pleasing, clean and conducive to our needs. The staff did a wonderful job of setting the room up classroom style and it was easily accessible for attendees. The chairs and tables were new/well maintained and perfect for the training we conducted. Bernice and Perez went over and above to assist us with any/all needs or requests. The only issue I had was that I could not successfully connect my computer to the large TV screen (65") on the wall for our presentations. We had a projector and pop-up screen, but the TV would have worked out well. If I have a need for a training facility in the Northern Virginia region again, this Home2 Suites will be the place to go.

They were welcoming and friendly. My bf was having major surgery and we were on edge bc we live two hours away, but when we got there it was so nice. Thank you for making a stressful situation into a comfortable time.

Great hotel & location, but just be aware that they are on the high school football team circuit so if you’re staying during a game weekend, you probably won’t be getting much sleep

This place is awful. First room they gave me was dirty. Second room had ants in it. Beds are not comfortable. Breakfast food was terrible. This is a 1 star hotel charging 4 star prices. Avoid this place!!

The pool was closed when we arrived. This was never communicated on the website. I also called three times to confirm the shuttle was available and was told to make reservations that day. A day before we checked out, the person who ran the shuttle was off and they had to send two Ubers to take us to the airport.

Great property near Dulles

It’s a great hotel with spacious rooms, pool, gym, and other amenities. The only thing that disappointed us a little was the breakfast. The small variety they had was mainly tasteless and cold.

We checked in and were given a room that didn't have the required handicapped requirements. No roll in shower, no raised toilet seat, and no shower seat. We complained. My wife is handicapped and needs that access. The next day we discussed the issue again, and they offered to refund the room, but I haven't seen it yet on my statement.

We stay here when we visit VA. It is very convenient location. They seem to always be full, which means a lot of people go through. Our bed was horrible....we woke up with severe backaches every day. Please replace the beds! Bathroom shower had mold on the ceiling. Room wasn't the cleanest, but acceptable. We always travel with Clorox wipes.

What I didn't like about the room was I found a stained pillow and had no ice bucket. Come to find out ice bucket was on the floor next to the toilet. I also found a bagel in the microwave that was very hard. I was not informed on the fire alarm test so I was relaxing in bed and got a nice scare. I really enjoyed the pool and the jacuzzi tub.

Clean spacious rooms. Clean bathroom. Comfortable bed. Average breakfast. No option of eggs, potatoes/ veggies, sausage/meat being available in separate containers, but rolled into pre-packaged form. Thereby denying one of choice based on dietary needs. Checkin/ Checkout system is slow. Convenient free parking. Overall a little below the Hilton standards.

The property was neat and clean. The place was quiet when necessary. The beds were very comfortable and the staff was so helpful when needed.
Suggestions for improvement would be the low flow shower, at least in room 315. It took a while to rinse off while showering.

Bugs running out of sofa bed. soiled linen and pillows discovered upon entering my rooms. Spider in bathroom. Hilton manager has not tried to resolve issue. Still waiting on resolution.

The facility was very clean outside as well as in the room. There was a complimentary breakfast with quite a variety of options. The front desk as well as the breakfast staff were very friendly and helpful. Parking was also adequate. I would stay here if I am in the neighborhood ggain.

Room was very large, with standard home2suite amenities. What I wasn't a huge fan of was the pool and spa were "out of order" which seems to be a standard move to save money ever since the pandemic. Asides from that it was fine, good even.

Best sleep ever!
We had an enjoyable stay at this property but my review is about how good I slept during our stay. The bed/pillows were so comfortable it felt like I was sleeping in my own bed at home and that never happens while traveling. We would definitely stay here again.

This was a fine place to stay. Unfortunately, the property also added 4 charges to my card after I checked out. It took over an hour with an Expedia rep to try to sort things out. She stated the the property admitted incompetence. I still have not seen the charges removed.

Ok, but not great
I thought that the staff was very pleasant but, the toilet didn’t work. So the staff moved me to another room. The new room I was given didn’t lock. As in I could literally push the door right open without even using the key to unlock it. Made me feel very safe. But I didn’t figure that out until the night I was leaving.

Visit was ok. Room accomodation but had no iron board cover, had to ask. Short on towels, no hand soap, but room was good. Breakfast weak, juice machine was out of orange and apple. Limited offerings. Staff was generally accommodating .

One of the worst stay we ever had in any hotels. The room was not clean. There was leftover coffee in the coffee machine, floors were not clean properly. Elevator stopped working and I had to carry everything using the smelly stairs to the top floor. The hotel is under staff. I will never stay in this hotel again. We had couple friends in another room during our stay and they had more issues as well. Their AC stopped working for some time and when it worked again it was very loud also their rooms was very dirty. When they talked to front desk they were said that the cleaning company comes once a week but the hotel can contact them if they need too. My understanding is that the room should be clean before you let any guest stays in them, and not once a week. When they ask for for vacuum for the floors, they were told that the hotel doesn’t have it. No one came to clean the rooms or pick the trash during our stay. The room was missing hair dryer, safe, dish washer doesn’t close.

On arrival my room not cleaned. The mattress pad on the bed was covered in black little specks and what looked like tobacco. My first thought was bed bugs but it wasn't, there were no extra lines for the pullout and the dishwasher was full of dirty dishes.

I was sent to a room that had no bedding and wasn't clean. Then, I was moved to a room occupied by someone else. The third room was ok. The grounds desperately need trees.

Nice rooms and location.
Really nice room with plenty of space and a little kitchen area. Free breakfast was nice with a lot of the usual continental options. Plenty of parking and near some fast food restaraunts if you need a quick bite to eat.

My daughter was filming a movie nearby and her wardrobe fitting was here. I usually avoid any hotel less than three stars. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. That was the best part of our stay. The room had stains on walls could have been cleaned better, we were given an accessible room and water from the shower was all over the bathroom floor. Also, didn’t realize this was a pet friendly hotel. We heard a dog barking until 2 a.m. so we didn’t get much sleep. Breakfast options are minimal. However, it wasn’t the worst hotel. Overall a nice place to stay.

I was very disappointed in this property because family members have stayed here before and they had no problems. I unfortunately had nothing but problems with this property. The cleanliness of the room was like no one had come in to clean before we got there. There was dust on everything and hair in the shower still. Bathroom door had a broken lock and the blinds were off their tracks. Not to mention the dirty silverware and dishes in the kitchen area. When I went down to the front desk multiple times to tell them about this no one was around. I’m not sure if there was a change in management lately but this hotel did not live up to previous expectations.

Our dealings with reception, particularly Norman, was pleasant and excellent. He is a very friendly and professional.
Our room was not as clean as we expected. Dust on top of the refrigerator indicates a less than clean room. We did ask for a cleaning once while there and did not get it. The hotel personnel apologized for the mix up. We stay here every time we visit our children, and overall, we like it very very much.

Very comfortable bed and lots of space in the room. Only reason I didn’t give it 5 stars was I had to go to the front desk to get towels. None in the room. However, slept well which is what I needed.

The hallways were very cold therefore the HVAC sounded a little like a 747 overhead ( which there also are). Housekeeping missed a few items- like towels and bathmats and the toiletry dispenser in the shower were a little rickety,

Please actually make the bed
I just really can’t get over being able to see the mattress cover and not having a top sheet between myself and the bedding that is less likely to be cleaned every stay.

Disappointed that maid service was not automatic. As a result we had to get clean towels from the desk. Bed was horribly uncomfortable.....did not allow good sleep and got up with terrible backache. Personnel were very friendly and the price was great.
