It was a good idea that somebody took our car to the garage. It was my first experience with this kind of parking but it was so easy and whenever, we wanted go outside, when I scanned the parking barcode , somebody was bringing our car by the front door just in 5 min.

I have been staying at this hotel twice a year for the last 10 years. It is close to the metro and has a Target store and Starbucks right across the street.

When we arrived, the drain on our sink was broken and needed repair. The engineer was able to repair quickly, but that should not have been an issue. The toilet paper was a half used roll with no extra to be found in the room. There were 4 of us but only 3 sets of towels. When we asked for additional they made it difficult for us to get more. Then, the next day after finally having enough towels, housekeeping came and removed our extras and we were stuck with only 3 towels again. There was then "unexpected construction" that caused there to be no water in the hotel from 9 p.m. to 7 a.m. the next day. When the water came back on, the toilet did not refill properly with water, the water refilling was an off color, the water pressure in the sink was non existent, the hot water took 5 minutes to get slightly warm, and there was sediment in the water from the sink. We found out the next morning after speaking to the head engineer that the cause of the shut off was a repair of the hotels pipes (meaning they knew this would need to be done, but had to express it as a more general contruction in order to no have to compensate us for the inconvenience). We were supposed to stay an additional night and cancelled it, switching to the Hyatt Centric in Old Town Alexandria, VA due to all of these inconveniences. The Old Town property is cleaner, more organized, friendlier staff, and a more spacious room. Wr will not be staying at the Arlington location again and are very dissapointed.

Overall, the hotel is excellent. The only fault is the Google Chrome TVs, which make streaming to challenging. Thankfully, we spent a lot of time out of our room, but for a brief hour or two, we wish we had an easier time streaming our shows.

Someone tried to break into my room through the joining room door at 10pm, i called the front desk while it was happening and was told Sorry we have no one to come up there right now (15th floor) so i stayed up with family on the phone all night, advised by family to call 911 if it gets worse. To protect my son i was traveling with. The next morning i was told a supervisor wasnt in yet but they switched my room and gave us free breakfast. It was a very scary first night, this hotel is too nice Not to have security or staff in case of an emergency.

Overall excellent
The hotel and almost everything about it was excellent! Beds and linens were very comfortable. Parking was too expensive. They charge you for valet or else you have to pay every time you enter and exit (which is kind of ridiculous). Hotel staff were very friendly and breakfast was great.

We chose this hotel because of the reasonable price for a 4 star hotel as well as the fact it was a 2 min walk to the Metro. Arlington Cemetery is also within walking distance. Some jet noise one evening but that is totally dependant on runway of choice at Reagan National airport across the Potomac. I would definitely stay here again.

Was there with a friend for an event in Georgetown, great location to the Metro for touring the DC area, hotel very nice, great happy hour and food was great, close food choices to the hotel also, would stay there again if visiting the area. Everyone was so nice and very helpful.

Great hotel! Close to Rosslyn metro station. Stayed here for the Marine Corps Marathon and could walk to the start and back from the finish. Staff were so friendly and helpful- shout out to Robert at check in. Would stay again!

The location is quite convenient, but several things made this just an “ok” hotel:
1. Parking garage is TIGHT. $35 self park or $45 valet. It’s one garage.
2. It’s an older and outdated hotel.
3. Pillows are awful. Thin hard ones mixed with a few softer ones. We all fought for the softer ones.
4. No room service even with a multiple night stay. The only thing they did is swap out the towels and give new water bottles.
5. The water in the bathroom smells like mildew.

Bathtub was dirty shower pull was broken. Horrible customer service from staff but they must have learned it from manager he was awful. Although I ask for full service cleaning it was not done not one of the 4 days we stayed. Their $30 breakfast buffet is a joke. It’s simply a hotel continental breakfast that is free at other locations.

Not bad for the money relative to other hotels in the area and quite convenient to Washington DC. Plenty of eateries nearby. I was not happy paying extra for a "high floor city view" to simply be looking at one big glass building across from us (no actual view), so close that we had to keep the drapes closed. I also think $45/night is excessive for overnight valet parking with no option of self parking. Maybe $20 would be more appropriate for actual hotel guests? Such that there was something left to give a tip? I gave one tip to the last person on the last day, because seriously? Am I really renting a car 4 days for $220, then spend $180 PLUS tax to park the car 4 nights on top of the hotel room itself - then give a $10 tip every morning I get the car? Maybe $10 self park? I'm used to western and southern states that not only have lots of brand new, very modern, well maintained hotels that cost at least 25% less and don't charge any penalty (or nothing noticeable) for parking - and include real breakfast. I cant fault the hotel for the nightly room cost because most competitors were worse - but I do think the whole area is far too costly. The room itself? Bathrooms OK. Fix the ceiling, look at the material on the chairs, clean up the furnishings, look at Mariott's beds, and lift the tiny fridge off the ground; this isn't an old Super 8 is it? Luckily climate control worked and no bed bugs. We liked the food at the cafe and appreciated the service and presentation.

We had a wonderful stay. The service at the front desk was amazing. Every person we interacted with at the front desk was kind and helpful. I stay in hotels a few times each month and it was one of my favorite experiences in many years.

The Pro's: The hotel was very nice, clean and modern. The hot water was very hot and water pressure was great for showers. The staff and valet team was friendly, professional and accomodating! (Thank you)
The Cons: The valet parking is pricey but convenient. The room (1400) we had at the end of the hall was extremely small. We couldn't move back and forth without one of us having to move out of the other's way to move throughout the room. Also there was pretty loud small air filtering unit in the room. A little hard to sleep with the noice all night. I recommend this hotel but not room 1400 if you need space.

Loved my stay here. Super convenient and right next to the metro train as well as close to everything we wanted to see. Valet parking was super easy and you just text their business number and they get your car whenever you need for no additional fee. Check in was 3pm and we got there at 3:15 but we didn’t get a room until almost 5pm which was annoying, but the staff was so nice and accommodating so they upgraded our room for free. Only complaint with the room itself is there was no safe or microwave, but overall it was a truly great stay!

I had the best experience staying at this hotel. From the beginning of check-in, the service has been great. They were nice, funny and were on it when I had a question. I will definitely be back at this hotel in future I am back in the area. It is walking distance to Roosevelt Island and close to highways to travel if you have a car and also close to the metro which I used majority of my time.

Great hotel. Room was very small compared to one other nearby for that price range. I had a minor issue checking out - something with credit card payment through Expedia - but it was resolved after a phone call. Staff was very polite and WiFi was offered free of charge as well as water and and coffee in your room. I do recommend this place.

Good location, walking distance from DC metro. Room overall was ok, fridge was a bit noise. Bathtub drain was partially clogged, no one fixed it. Conditioner bottle was broken and not replaced. Parking is way over priced.

I liked the location of Hyatt Centric Arlington. It is near everything I needed - Georgetown, restaurants and stores. The room was clean but needed an extra chair for relaxing. I liked the convenience of having a minifridge in the room. I thought the hotel breakfast was too expensive for what is offered. Staff was friendly and responded immediately to a request for the room. Checkout was easy.

There was a computer glitch in the number of kids Because of it, we were forced to pay for breakfasts. I could understand that if these were adults, but kids are part of a family. If the computer did not screw up, I wouldn’t have paid I was also under the impression this Hyatt had a pool. The kids were disappointed. We asked for new towels and only received them one day. Other than that, everything was fine.

Excellent area and hotel looked excellent but the room had problems. Once you walk in you get hit with a strong body odor that stayed in the room even though the room looked clean. The air conditioning vents were right above the beds, so if you want to stay cool cover your head at night or freeze. Will not stay again but staff was friendly.

A Nice place to Stay in DC
The hotel and valet parking staff were super friendly. The room was clean, and the hotel, although not new, is very clean and safe. Directly across from the Washington Metro Station for convenient travel downtown. The surrounding area was also nice. Would definitely stay there again.
