Hotel was great... parking was a problem.
Some of the hotel, and some of the elevators are under construction.
If you have a car you should valet. I don't and my parking for a less than 2 days was almost $200

The view from our room was simply stunning. It was in a great location; very convenient to things to do. Staff was wonderful…food was good. We (family of 3) would absolutely stay here again.

It was an excellent stay. The first night we were cold as the beds only had sheets, no blankets. However we requested comforters and the staff quickly brought them to our room.

The place was amazing but we did not like the service at this place. We had to wait 1.5 hrs for a wine bottle opener and at the end they delivered can opener after clearly communicating. We had to sleep disappointed.

Nic at the front desk was amazing. After a long trip, we got in early and he checked us in early. He was so kind and helpful. Above and beyond. The hotel was clean and very convenient to restaurants. I love the location. Would definitely stay here again.

We booked a room for us to take a friend to Chicago for the first time and wanted to make it a special experience. When we got to the room, it wasn’t exactly what we had originally booked. The staff went above and beyond to find us a room that met our needs and allowed us to switch! It was a super special night with their help! Thank you!

It's in a prime location close to the river and major downtown attractions. Lobby is renovated and is really beautiful. I'll go back again if I travel to Chicago again.

Great hotel!
Everything about the hotel and location was top notch. The door staff was super nice, and so was the gentleman at the front desk. There were others around the hotel that were really helpful and nice as well. The room was excellent and the view was awesome. My only gripe about the place was at the American restaurant, our server could have been a lot nicer, but we all have a bad day. Other than that we will be back for sure.

Worth the stay
When I go to Chicago it is for a specific reason. The hotel's location is perfect for my reason for being there. But I want more than location. I want a nice experience. And this hotel provides it. The workout room is much improved since my last visit. There are ample services...food, drinks, etc. The only problem...valet is extremely (and obscenely) expensive.

Absolutely wonderful trip! All of the staff was so kind and friendly it felt like we were leaving friends when we left. Hotel was extremely clean, updated and in a great location. They offered a lot of convenience items, great dining and bar options as well. 2 stores, coffee shop, 2 bars and 2 restaurants on site. The GM Patrick treated us like absolute royalty, he made us feel so special! Cannot recommend this hotel enough.

We loved the breakfast buffet and we were sad to find out they didn’t offer it on our last day due to low guest numbers. The location was the best, close to attractions. We were delighted with our room view; it was definitely worth the extra money. We plan to return on our next trip to Chicago!

We really enjoyed our stay. We really appreciated the Happy Hour sushi specials at Stetsons. Our waiter, Anthony, was helpful in terms of listening to my kids love of spicy foods and made excellent recommendations. He and the staff also got my sons excited about a show we were seeing that night.
Really, everyone there was lovely.

It was the worst stay ever. The room looked old. There was a lot of noise and it smelled really bad. Construction going on during the day, and a huge party in the lobby on Friday night. The noise was so loud that it could be heard all the way up to my room.
Will never stay there again. Front desk missed doing my room two nights in a row.

Great Christmas Visit
This is a very nice hotel in to stay in. It has a great location with great views. The beds are great but the pillows are too stuffed, very hard, and the blankets are too thin but those are minor concerns.

Decent carpets need cleaning and furniture
Staff was amazing! My issue was the air quality in the room, the beds were not as comfortable as previous years. Though innovations were being done on the 3rd floor. The funiture in the lobby was dirty and carpet meaning previous stains. I never seen this hotel not keep up the lobby area vs redoinf the 3rd floor. I would of deep cleaned the lobby funniture, all floors carpets and within the rooms.

Hotel staff was amazing! Went above and beyond to make me and my family comfortable our entire trip! Most of all was Raymond at the front desk!! Made life so much easier and was willing to help accommodate requests from my family even if i thought they were ridiculous. Great stay! 👍

We had a perfect weekend stay at this property! Everything we wanted to experience was walkable (Michigan Ave shopping, Navy Pier, great restaurants, etc.) The hotel bar also had great drinks & apps if you planned to stay in. Our room/the hotel was very well kept and clean; staff was helpful and friendly. We will definitely stay again when we return to Chicago!

The elevator stopped working at 20th floor while my destination is the 31st floor. Took a while for the staff to help me get out the elevator. The front desk woman was rude and mean. Horrible experience oversll

I liked the location. However the place is under renovation on the West Tower and there was dust everywhere in my room. The cleaning staff did not dust the room before I got there. The modern and minimalist approach is fine. I just wish there had been a closet for my clothes rather than just a rack with hangers and perhaps even some water in the room. Other than that, the hotel is fine.

Great location and proximity to so many cool things, however, I feel like I was shortchanged on the whole “premium room with a view” package that I opted for when the staff decided to put me in a lake view instead of the city view that I asked for. Moreover, it was directly across one of the loudest ice machines known to mankind! I could also hear everything that was going ok upstairs. May not come back to this hotel.

The hotel is outstanding in every sense, amenities, rooms, cleanliness, friendly staff, central location, etc. The front desk staff member who checked us in, her name is Joy, she has the perfect name! Joy was absolutely wonderful, excellent customer service, got to know us personally and made our first trip to Chicago and first stay at the Hyatt Regency by far a truly enjoyable experience. Joy went above and beyond to make our stay an unforgettable experience, she even brought balloons and a voucher for my son personally to our room. We love her and we loved our experience at the Hyatt. We look forward to coming back in the near future!

Stayed here because it was cheap, I guess you get what you pay for. Probably the least comfortable bed I’ve ever tried to sleep on. Sheets were like crumpled paper, if you rolled over, everyone in the room would be woken up. Hotel bar was closed too, which threw off our plans a bit. Place was clean and staff was friendly, but other than that I probably would not stay here again.
