Shuttle to and from airport came

It was such a pleasant place. I loved the little convenience store. Much better than a vending machine. The shuttle was wonderful and was right there when needed. The drivers were pleasant. The beds were comfy and the pillows just right. I loved the bathtub! It was truly a wonderful place to rest after much travels.

The staff made guests feel welcome, they always spoke first to you, were quick with answers to questions. They seemed to enjoy their work. There were 3 staff members that I interacted with the most, which made my stay even more enjoyable. Tixxy at the front desk, maria in the restaurant, and Nadia. The food selection buffet for breakfast was excellent. So many options. I am a retired restaurant manager and i looked in the kitchen which was spotless. The coffee, tea selection was also excellent. When I return to this area I will return as a guest. Thank you for a grat visit and feeling so welcome.

Great Hampton Inn second time here because we are flying out of Dulles. I’ve tried other hotels in the area and this is a sure bet.

Have stayed at this hotel three times in the past year and have had no problems with the staff or hotel. The breakfast has many items to choose from and having coffee and tea available during later hours is nice.

This hotel was amazing! Especially Maria in the breakfast area, and the shuttle driver- Fhaz? Or something like that- they were so kind and friendly. The hotel was super clean and very reasonably priced- especially for how nice it was.

Excellent will definitely stay again. Cristina was a doll ! Super helpful upon checking in and knowledgeable about the area on where to dine. Room was clean and well stocked with plenty of towels and wash cloths. Breakfast had a lot of options. 10 out of 10

I didn't quite like the behavioral attitude of the shuttle driver that took us back to the airport after our stay. He is very raw in using words. He should learn to be proper and polite in behavior. Meanwhile, the shuttle driver that picked us from the airport exhibited great sense of disciplined, and as a result, I gave him good tip.

What I didn't like is that no provision of bottle water in the room to drink when my wife and I moved in at late hour..This is bad. At least..provide a cup of water for your guest(s). No restaurant to buy food.

The stuff was so incredibly helpful, they all went out of their way to make sure that my stay was exceptional. I was in a terrible mood checking in and the front desk clerk was extremely nice. The breakfast staff went above and beyond what I considered normal for a breakfast selection, and the housekeeper was very nice and always smiling,.

Beware of hotels.com if you need room quick!
Did not know Hotels.com waits 1+ hour after taking money to send reservation to hotel. So, it was a weary traveler waiting at the front desk for the gods of hotels.com back end systems to transmit the reservation! Lesson learned!
The front desk person kept me waiting while he was on the phone which he picked up after I came. Of course, showing up in person is somehow less urgent than calling this hotel/person. Disturbing and disgusting.

I think our queen bed was a double bed. The mattress was awful. I realize housekeeping could be called to clean the rooms but it would be nice if trash were removed even if room wasn’t cleaned/or w/o asking.
Other than that our stay was a good experience. Staff was friendly. And overall the facility was very clean. Very nice on the go breakfast. Plenty of variety.

We don’t come back - that’s for sure.
- old and dirty
- entrance very dark and not welcoming
- breakfast ok
- homeless people lunging around the parking lot the whole night
- guest ignore the quiet hours, party all night long and only stop when the security shows up
- we don’t understand how people can rate this hotel with exceptional, we would never come back again

The room was clean. However, a basic thing like a drinking glass or two were not to be found in the room. Instead they had a paper type of glasses. Additionally, the breakfast food is not varied and lacking nutritional value.

There was only one person checking people in, however there were two people at the front desk. I asked the second person, only to be told that I had to wait for the other person to check us in. The room was wonderful and very quiet.

Nice Hotel - Hotels.com Needs to Improve
Hotel is well maintained but like many hotels these days daily room service is not standard. Check in was delayed because the reservation through hotels.com was not received by the hotel. This has happened twice in the last 10 days.

I left 5 hours later then my planned time on my 3 hour trip. So I was irritated. When I arrived the check in took 30 secs lol. I was so shocked that I wasn’t even mad anymore lol. Then I arrived to my room & it was very cleaned. Left the air on & was freezing so if it’s ever super hot outside I know where I’m going. Check out was dropping key in box & leaving. Amazing stay
