Stayed only one night but we had a very good experience. The on-site parking is great. Since we had an early flight in the morning, we were surprised and appreciated having a grab and go breakfast awaiting us at the counter.

What I like the convenience of the location even thou there is no shopping or eating place nearby. The rooms are clean but the a/c was very noisy. Breakfast was great.

Good hotel.. Weird TV remote
Good hotel. Have stayed here multiple times, but this time TV was odd. You could not select a channel or enter a channel number. You had to scroll up or down to get to it.

Shared rooms.
Bad experience since the room had a door to the next room. The door was locked but the guests there were very noisy so we could not sleep since this door pass all the sound to your room.

We had event at national harbor, this place is very convenient. Less than 10 minutes driving to National harbor. Room is clean and with a big table which I can put two monitors for work.

The check in was great. No waiting. There was i think a security man there he was clearing walkways of snow for customers . He was very friendly had a good conversation about out Raider team ...lol room was clean bed fresh lots of towels thank you. Overall perfect stay. Breakfast area very large food was ok but other than food . It was great . Thank

Quiet hotel away from Old Town
This hotel is not really in "old town" Alexandria, but on a highway some distance from the old town shops and many other hotels. The hotel is located way too far for elderly people to walk to the shops, but if you are fit and like to walk distances or bike or run, it's good - you must find the hiking/biking trail that runs between the highway and the hotel - it makes all the difference in the world to get on that trail and get to the real old town where all the shops are (about a 1.5 - 2 mile walk). Parking is great - free and large parking lot. People were quite upset when the hotel closed the breakfast area an hour early on Christmas Eve - people relied on the signs in the elevator and children were refused waffles, etc. an hour before breakfast was supposed to close (and the workers would not speak to us about it, saying they did not speak English, and the manager who made the executive decision to close down the breakfast area an hour early without notice on Christmas Eve was not around . . . so that was annoying to see - I rarely eat breakfast but it bothered me to see that happen to children). The room was a nice size, and had micro, refrigerator, shower & tub, which is very important to me (the tub). And, it was quiet, which is critical for me. Also, I met nice people there even though some of the employees seemed unhappy like so many in the DC area. Stay in Virginia! I was ripped off twice in 4 hours in DC, inside SCOTUS (gifts) and DCA (new phone snatched fast).

Bed was comfy, bfast was tasty, staff was very friendly… I found hair that looked like it was pulled from a brush that was missed when vacuuming that I picked up and trashed myself. Not quite sure how it was missed, but other than that I would recommend.

We stayed at this hotel for a trip to Washington. We stayed for four nights and five days, and it was nice that they cleaned our room every day.
I liked the hotel because it was clean and quiet.
One drawback was the employee's attitude of not addressing our needs right away.
Other than that, we are satisfied.

From 8pm until morning (went to bed at 1am) there was no water in the hotel.
The breakfast area is too small for a hotel of this size. We had to stand in line for 15 minutes and because of this there were interruptions with food.

Do not stay here!
It was terrible! The room was dirty! There was no sound proof through the rooms. We could hear everything! There were stains on the carpet and the night stand was just dirty. There was trash from the last stay still behind the bathroom door. I just didn’t feel comfortable staying here. I would not come back.

Overall great experience, with two exceptions
We really liked this hotel and we plan to use it again. However, during our week stay there was an approximately 13 hour period when we did not have running water because of a city water issue. The following night, the fire alarm went off and we had to vacate, from our 7th floor room. Fortunately, we were able to return to our room shortly.

Hi unfortunately our experience at the hotel was not great. We checked in, got a nice king studio room and it smelled like marijuana. The lady at the front desk was kind enough to switch us to another room but turned out smaller. This new room had a AC unit from 1999 which rattled all night. The phone was broken so I couldnt reach out to fromt desk or anyone else without going back downstairs. House keeping woke us up by 7am everyday with there loud conversations..Im not the kind to put a good or bad review but this was a Christmas weekend roadtrip to VA and wish it could have been better.

Hard to get to from highway. Areas on either side of bed stand were dirty. Decorations inside and outside leaving up to the front door were terrific! Breakfast was very nice. I will definitely stay here again.

My Experience
The people in the breakfast area where very rude and not friendly, the bathroom was doing a lot of noise everytime the water was turn on. Front desk didn't greet at all and wasn't polite.

It was difficult to enter the facility. GPS directions will cause you to wreck! If you miss your turn you have to cross tge bridge turn around and try again. It's dangerous! Traffic is a nightmare, beware! The bedroom furniture was outdated and falling apart. There was no ice machine, washer, or dryer. The room was empty. Apparently they are renovating. Good price for the location.Short trip over the bridge to MGM and Gaylord resort.

Commode didn’t flush properly. Had to continue removing lid to get the water to stop. Lotion was all over bathroom wall and never cleaned off the 3 days I was there.

Great location close to Huntington Metro station and Old Town Alexandria. Parking lot is in terrible condition: broken pavement, unkept, dated and dark at night. Not the hotel’s issue per se but woke first night to a dog constantly barking (about 20 minutes). Then was awakened a second time; this time by marijuana smoke.

The staff was helpful and accomodating. I like the 25 hr. snack bar and all day tea and coffee...it's those little extras that makes a hotel stay nicer. The room was clean....and hotel is not far from shopping and food.

Stay away from toom 6227
The room was not set up for our rsvp for 4. Not enough towels or pillows. The front desk made my wife go to front desk for pillows. When she got there from the 6th floor, they made her wait a food 15 minutes while they went down in the basement for them. It gets better. The tv faces the bathroom. You can slightly turn tv but barely. The issue with this is my kids on the opposite sideof the room couldnt see the tv st the same time. The ac unit was so loud that we had to turn it off to sleep which i barely did. On top of that, the light for the bathroom luminates in a way toward the bed that u have to cover ur eyes its so bad. Very por layout. The worst i ever experienced as a frequent traveler. Ive stayed at lots of hampton inns around the country n this was the worst experience ever. I never complain but what a horrible experience.

Safe area close to POI!
This hotel was in a great location to National Harbour, just across the bridge. Check in took a while, only 2 CSR's and a very busy hotel. Had a little difficulty finding our room as the room numbers were out of order due to recent hotel remodel. If you purchase items in the snack room, again, having to wait due to checking people in and super busy. Room was clean, bed was not comfortable to me. All in all not a bad stay.

None of the three people at the front desk was courteous or transparent. You’ll be shocked with a pet fee. They spoke in a different language (in front of us) when asked for explanation. When asked for invoice upon checkout, the person didn’t want to provide the itemized receipt or receipt of any kind. They overcharged us on pet fee. Not recommend it. Upon arrival, there was a gentleman who came down to request a room change for strong smell and condition of the room. We saw him waiting for at least 20 minutes. We regretted booking for this hotel when the people didn’t even apologize. They seems unhappy about the request.

The first room that I was assigned to had bed bugs crawling on the walls. I got up killed the BB and took it to the front desk. The gentleman gave me another room. The carpet had not been vacuumed. By this time I was tired and didn’t have the energy to contact you all for a refund. Just covered my backpack with two towels and slept in my clothes. I’m no longer a fans of that hotel chain and a little disappointed that you all even have this place rated so high.
