The hotel was nice for the most part. The breakfast was a nice value. The pool was very cold. Some of the pillow cases and bedspreads had old stains, but for the most part, things were clean. Staff was very nice.

I didn't appreciate having to pay for parking. I've stayed at this same hotel several times and never had to pay for parking and now suddenly you do. The parking lot is outside of the hotel, it's not in a garage or covered space and the parking lot was almost completely full.

Location is why I chose this particular hotel, however, the staff was not the friendliest or helpful. No working ice machines on my particular floor was a little aggravating and the do not disturb sign was unavailable the day I was leaving and if I didnt have the security lock on, the house keeper would have just bust right through. It’s for the above reasons I can not see myself staying at this particular hotel again.

Nice for a quick stay
This is a lovely hotel with a great location. Stayed here one night for a Nationals game (10 min Uber to the ballpark) as other hotels closer were $500+ for one night. Mimi at the front desk was very welcoming and informative. She pointed us in all the right directions. Rooms were a bit dated but very clean and well insulated (didn't hear traffic or other guests). Slept well, beds very comfortable. Only drawback was having to pay for parking? It was only $10 for 24 hours which is cheap for DC, but still they have their own huge parking lot. Felt a little fleeced - shouldn't have - but did.

Clean older hotel near the ballpark
An older hotel who's plumbing could use a little more TLC, but the staff are extremely kind and knowledgeable, you can be at Nationals Park in about 15 min, and most importantly it is clean. The breakfast is pretty good too. While we didn't use the pool, it appeared well kept up and beautiful.

Paid parking a money grab
Wasn't a fan of the added fee for parking. It is on premises so really don't reason to charge. I find that to be a money grab. Also, the staff was a little short when I asked about it. The response was "it's on site you should've seen it." I had been there previously within the last three weeks and There wasn't a fee for parking so I was Little bit surprised. Also the picture in my room and the window had stuff smeared on it. Overall, the staff was friendly just not as friendly as my previous stay

Staff could have told us about the parking payment as we were with my son and if I didn’t see the parking signs in the lot, As it was raining when we arrived , we could hav had a problem because he didn’t see it and was unloading with his wife and children. All else was good.

The hotel was clean from the very attractive lobby to our room. Front desk staff was helpful and friendly. The ladies covering the breakfast efficiently kept the food replenished. Our room was on the backside and very quiet. Very enjoyable stay.

Loved everything about my stay! The room was very clean and spacious. The staff were very friendly and professional. The continental breakfast was excellent. There were a number of places nearby to get food such as Wendy's and Papa John's Pizza etc. There was a fairly major road near the hotel making it very easy to get around.

Great hotel at great price. We chose this hotel when visiting Washington DC and it was a great choice. We left the car at the hotel car park and took Uber to city centre. Room was quiet, clean and comfortable. Service at the front desk was very good, despite having some issues with rooms being ready but they handled it very good.

Close to Mount Vernon
This hotel is up to the standards of this national chain. The staff was pleasant, room was clean and spacious and the breakfast buffet was nice with plenty of coffee. There is a walking path to "Old Town" right outside the hotel. While the hotel is located right along the highway, the signage for the entrance could be more visible as it was easily missed in the evening, taking one directly onto route 95. It is very convenient for visit to Mount Vernon.

Breakfast was great. Staff was great and helpful. Very nice room and they told me that they had a different room for price I paid for other if I wanted to switch out rooms. They helped with parking app as it was paid and not free as ad when I booked it Said. Very personable staff. Would stay here again.

We been coming here for years and they just started charging $10/night for parking!? They have their own private lot, so it just seems ridiculous after all these years. I found trash in my room, so cleaning was lack luster. Its by a noisy highway, and breakfast food is mediocre at best. There are closer places to the MGM with better amenities. Doubletree is up the street!

Unfortunately once we going to bed and pull back the covers there was a tooth pick floss thing on the floor under the comforter on the floor. So house keeping could have paid more attention to the details. Not enough toilet paper. And no breakfast options for anyone who doesn’t eat pork. I understand to be able to offer a free breakfast can be expensive but there is not enough options. Otherwise I thought everything was pretty good . Would I say again yes. Just my thoughts

This property was very clean and convenient to where I needed to be in Alexandria. The staff were all very wonderful and helpful. My room was large (2 queen beds). There was a closet with a door, which made it easy to keep my clothes from cluttering up the room. There was also hooks on the wall in the room, which I liked-I could put my clothes for the next day out, and hang my jacket. I also liked the fact that there were lots of microwave meals for sale in the hotel lobby, that you could heat up there, or in the microwave in your room. And they were not horribly overpriced. It it was available, I would have given the hotel 4.5 stars instead of just 4, but that was not available. The reason I didn’t give 5 stars, is because there were a few little things like the outlet in the bathroom-it was so loose, I had to hold the plug of the hairdryer in with one hand and dry with the other. And the noise level from the room above me was very annoying. There was a huge group of middle school students on my floor, and I barely heard a peep, but somehow the noise insulation between floors was lacking. Not a huge deal, but I had really early meetings, and needed sleep. But overall, I was really impressed with the how clean and nice everything was, and how nice the staff was. I would stay here again.

Staff especially MiMi and Paolo at the front desk were courteous, kind and helpful. No major complaints. Broken outlet behind bed made it difficult to charge my phone. Looks like poor coincidence that the bed frame smashes perfectly into the outlet. Again front and staff was helpful because we had two nights booked separately so they were able to make it easy to stay in the same room both nights. They were very helpful in that endeavor.

Check in was really painful.. really long line, 1 person working the counter. Took me about an hour to check in.
Once I got to the room - I found couple of used towels in the bathroom 😖 hopefully it was just a hectic day but gotta do better.

Check out morning shower water was very cold. We did not complain because it was close to the check out time of 12 pm. We left without getting showers. First time this has ever happened at a Hampton Inn which is our favorite hotel.

I did not even stay at this hotel due to my not being able to check in until after a certain time. I arrived in DC at about 5 am and was told I could come in anytime. What is the point of a hotel if you can't check in when you arrive? I believe that humans should be allowed to check in whenever and 24 hours start then and there. I hated that I had to suffer financially and did not even get to experience the hotel.

Room was nice but stayed on second floor and it was noisy from people upstairs. They have down pillows which I do not like and u can hear a pounding noise from the elevator that kept me awake!!

Quick road trip to DC landed us here…. convenient location; this place was 25 mins from the downtown DC area which we originally wanted to stay however most hotel charges $50-60 per night for parking. Free parking at the Hampton!!!!

We were going to the casino. This hotel was clean, quiet, updated, & had free parking (which in the harbor, parking is never free @ the hotels-even if you’re staying in the hotel). Free Breakfast was a huge variety and felt very sanitary for buffet style. The casino is literally just on the other side of the river and the price difference is uncanny. We ate in Old town Alexandria which is an easy 5 minute drive across the street from the hotel. We drove to the National Mall which was maybe 20 minutes. Most of the staff were amazing. We’ll stay here from now on.

What I did nit like - there were people complaining of not getting their complementary breakfast at 10:01am. The notice in the elevator notes that breakfast is until 11am, but if you come at 10:01 it is already closed. However, at check in, front desk tells you the time when breakfast is open. But, if you get another notice that is contrary, it gets confusing.

Terrible customer service. I was there for just a few hours to rest for an early morning flight and asked for a quiet room. Was given a lower floor room facing a very busy highway. Despite hotel being almost empty. Didn’t want to go back to the front desk because the persons there were so rude. I am a diamond Hilton member. Don’t expect this type of service from a Hilton property.

Wheelchair Accessible, Pet Friendly & Free Parking
A budget/pet friendly hotel that is wheelchair assessable, clean and safe with friendly staff. Hotel is old and worn, but you can tell they are doing everything to keep it clean and safe. Only problem is the overly stinky fragrance used in the hallways. I found the smell to be a overpowering
There are no restaurants within walking distance without having to walk across the highway but each room has a microwave oven and tiny refrigerator, so you can bring your own food or you can purchase one of their generic frozen meals for $9.00. Wine can also be purchased in the lobby pantry for $30 per bottle or you can drive 5 minutes away and lot less.
If you prefer an upscale super clean modern place with coffee shops, restaurants, entertainment, bars, etc, nearby, this is not the place for you.
If you're on a budget looking for free parking, free breakfast in a safe and clean spot with friendly and professional staff and don't care to be in a walking area with things to do, this could be your place.

Very nice clean hotel had a slight issue with my refrigerator not getting cold but no big deal because one call to the front desk and the maintenance guy came right up. Front desk customer service was great Cedrick was real professional helpful understanding and nice I'd definitely stay here again when visiting

ok it’s NOT in old town It’s close across a huge highway - the hotel entrance is right by an exit ramp and was very hard to distinguish and it was rush hour also - had to go around twice, creepy weird parking lot with no luggage carrier rack with wheels . I was upset as it WAS not what it advertised also breakfast was at 7:00 on sat not 6:00 disturbing - no coffee in lobby - I had 1 powdered coffee creamer in the room. I found and almond in my bed - weird not a bed bug but an almond - WAS not what it advertised not worth the 20.00 saving - deeply disappointed - an extra creamer was too exspensive - why the nut in my bed - the entrance from the highway -terrifying - not pleased

Last minute decision to stay in the DC area after a long day competing. Clean, comfortable rooms. Check in process was quick and easy. Merid (?) checked us in, he was very nice, and personable. Would absolutely stay again!

This was my second year booking this place, the first time was great and awesome. This year I was actually surprised and I think it was because I booked an accessible room instead of a standard one. Found out that an accessible room phone doesn’t really work- the room I got wasn’t cleaned through, there were socks under a bed and some one left insulin on the ground, I feel bad for the people who actually need an all accessible room. Staff was friendly, breakfast was good and they have a 24/7 complimentary coffee. Will I come next year (ayo)? Yes, this time a standard room of course.
