I had no complaints about the Dulles / cascades Hampton inn. The front desk staff was helpful and attentive ; the room was spotless. The hotel was quiet and peaceful ; parking was a breeze ; I had an excellent view out my window. Overall an amazing experience I felt well rested when I awoke the morning of my departure.

I liked thatbit was quite bc I wasnt feeling well and needed rest. I limed the lobby and breakfast ser up and staff.
I dis not like the stain in the bathroom tub and when I veoght it ro the c k eaning staff doing the rooms I was told nothinf they couls do I would meed to ckntact rhe feknt desk.

We have stayed there for several years. Our only problem this year is geeing older the bath area needs to be updated, specifically in grab bars and adding walking in shower. The grab bars there presently are not in the right location to get in or out of tub and I thought I was going to slip and fall every time. That was are only issue withthis Inn.

4-Star Top Notch Hotel
I stayed at this hotel after a company event. The hotel is behind Home Depot and there is a nearby Starbucks, amongst a few restaurants that aren’t too far. The area isn’t sketchy as mentioned by previous ppl that reviewed. The hotel staff was very friendly and they did have free breakfast. The parking lot had ample spacing to park. The rooms are nice and spacious, bathroom was nice and spacious, beds were very comfortable, the AC/Heating unit worked properly. I have nothing bad to say about my stay. This hotel is on a level with a 4-star hotel.

The employees here seem unhappy. They are overall not welcoming, unfriendly, and downright cold. The area around the hotel looks abandoned. It used to be a vibrant shopping area but most businesses have left. Right next to the hotel, by the entrance, is an abandoned lot that has old mattresses and other garbage dumped in it. There is Dome Depot and a Giant (and a few other small businesses) still open but most have left the area. Not what I expected from a Hampton Inn at all. One exception to the employee coldness was housekeeper Silvia. She was like a ray of sunshine in an otherwise dreary sky.

The staff was extremely friendly and accommodating. The hotel was very clean and the bed was comfortable. The only complaint is that it is difficult to find (especially at night) because it is located behind a dying shopping center.

A terrible experience first night i was there
A Fire Alarm went off for more than 30 minutes at 1.15 AM couldnt sleep and no one came up or called the room to say its a False Alarm .
Then the Bathroom fan cant be turned off it was always on the noise was terrible
Early morning around 6.00 AM there was construction / gardening work with a Noise that cant let you sleep after a sleepless night .
Limited Dining exoerience ( no restaurant ) and breakfast was good but lacks a lot ( no cheese no Ham etc ...

The property is great, very safe and very clean; room was spacious, comfortable, spotless. With an excellent warm breakfast included in the fare, this is a great price/quality choice. Only complaint: the hotel is really difficult to find without a gps. Located about 20 minutes from Dulles Airport, in the back of a shopping center, off off main roads, I had a heck of a time getting there late at night with no gps to guide me. Recommendation: use the Hampton Inn airport shuttle to take you there rather than drive. Other than that, a perfect place to stay.

My bedroom was in front of staff room and the staff started opening and closing that door at 5am and could not have a good morning sleep. In our bathroom there was not conditioner. Breakfast was ok.

I seldom write negative reviews, but this Hampton Inn has to improve one staffer's attitude. I chose Hampton since the breakfasts are good (a plus for this site) and because they advertise a shuttle to Dulles Airport. The shuttle it turns out is not convenient, unlike those of other hotels I have used in the area in past trips. One morning, as I saw the shuttle in front of the door, I got on, figuring to be in place at their next run. At that point, the clerk, informed by the driver that I was seated, came to the shuttle and very rudely ordered me off. He was very officious, not then or later calling me 'Sir.' He said in a very insulting voice that a rider has to register in advance to use the shuttle. I am 79 years old,and I suggest that if other senior citizens do not want to be treated so rudely, avoid this place. All he had to do was ask my room number and leave me on the shuttle, but acted like I was some derelict trying to take their transport. The next day, I went to the same clerk and said that I needed a ride to Dulles. It was about quarter past an hour, and he said that I would have to wait until the next hour, even though I was the only one traveling. The next time I wanted a shuttle, I just called uber. There is something weird going on with their shuttle service, or maybe it's the weekday clerk, but I will not return. BTW, I did ask to speak to a manager, but the weekend clerk said that none was available before 3 PM, and I had to check out earlier.

Wonderful Stay at Hampton Inn Dulles/Cascades
Excellent experience at Hampton Inn Dulles/Cascade. It was meant to be transit stay for a night prior to boarding a flight at IAD Airport but I really wished I spent a minimum of 3 day. The environment is serene but surrounded by Shopping Complexes that can really make you comfortable. The complimentary breakfast is good.

This place did not honor my reservation. I had a flight cancellation so I reserved a room. Whe I called to check e shuttle less than an hour after the reservation was made, they gave away my room. I Will never go here again!

We choose this hotel because it was close to Dulles and provided shuttle service and because we know the high quality we can expect from Hampton Inn.
We were disappointed to learn that the shuttle service from Dulles stopped running at 10:30pm so we had to pay $45 for a taxi cab because our flight arrived after 10:30pm. It would have been helpful if the website info had included the hours that the shuttle runs so that we wouldn't have encountered this last minute surprise. However, the desk attendant was able to give us the number of a taxicab service that picked us up at Dulles. We were able to take the shuttle back to Dulles the next morning.

Nice and Clean but Bedbugs
Hotel was clean and modern but it has bed bugs. I thought they were mosquito bites but they itch so bad and got very hard and won't heal had them examine it They said their bed bug bites. Tried to upload a photo of the bites but App won't let me

Everything seemed very clean. The breakfast was great. The manager was going around talking to everyone at breakfast and whenever we saw him. Staff was very friendly. There was a broken shower rod that I wish had been fixed. It was a nice curved rod that was broken so the curtain would not stay closed. The shower curtain was at least a foot from each wall allowing water to get all over the floor. I would definitely stay there again.

Always enjoy staying at any Hampton Inn and we stay at many throughout the year. Only issue which is the same at all locations, is lack of regular black tea at the coffee stations. Please stop buying assortments. Regular tea is the first to go leaving only herbal blends.

The only reason I chose this hotel was for 24 hour shuttle service which was promised online when I booked. Early flight. No shuttle til 5 am. Useless to me for a 6am flight. Had to Uber. Defeated the whole purpose

the hotel is clean, friendly and located convenient to everything- shopping, dining, highways etc. Walkable to a grocery store, Marshalls and a few other restaurants and a close drive to everything else. Daily breakfast was good- different offerings. My only complaint is that the bathroom fan was loud and ran 24/7 never shut off. I requested maintenance on it twice and no one ever showed. It kept me up at night. I was told they would move me to another room and I never got confirmation of that either. I spoke to the front desk a few times about it, and then again when I checked out and it didn't seem a priority for them. This definitely was a problem and nothing was ever done. Disappointed.

I was participating in a powerlifting event, and needed something comfortable and relatively close to the venue. I was provided with both and much more! The staff was super friendly, the room was clean and very comfortable. We really appreciated being off the highway yet close to everything. My only concern was the breakfast, it was good however I have celiacs and a gluten free option would have been nice, but not a huge deal at all😉

We were welcomed by a very helpful staff member who changed our room to one further from the elevator. Breakfast was wonderful with highly attentive staff who helped add to the warm, friendly, safe atmosphere. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone.

The location is tucked away and private but may be daunting to reach especially for single young drivers. Lots of unlit roads and empty properties. Need lighted signs to the hotel. The hotel itself is wonderful and clean. The staff is warm, pleasant and kind. I definitely would stay there again. Thanks

I resent the lack of daily room cleaning. The shuttle drivers were nice but the shuttle service took a long time to arrive at the airport. Instead of being on a schedule, a phone call had to be made each time you needed a lift from the airport. There is a 5 minute free phone at the airport and that helped since my Irish mobile is very expensive to use in US. There is no restaurant or bar on the premises. There were a couple of eating places within walking distance but on a dark, no sidewalks, road.

Our stay was nice and relaxing. The hotel was well maintained and clean. Breakfast was hot and delicious and the staff was friendly and efficient. We couldn't have asked for a better stay! Can't wait to return :0)
