Check in was 3 p.m. I arrived at 2:30. They would not let anyone start the check in process, and there were already several people waiting. I don't know why, even if the rooms were not ready yet, they didn't check people in and tell them they had to wait until 3 to go to the rooms, to avoid a line. I decided to go return my rental car first, since I thought when I got back there would be no line. I returned at 3:40, there was a line to check in. There were two people at the desk, very slow, and only one credit card terminal for them to share. Finally checked in after a wait of about 30 minutes. The safety bolt on the door was broken. I called to see if there was a computer where I could print my boarding pass. The person who answered the phone said she wasn't sure because she only started working a fews days earlier.

This hotel is very low budget and in desperate need of an upgrade. The room was absolute bare minimum. Decor was old, plumbing made lots of noise, floor was covered in old carpet, no padding underneath so it was hard and cold. Very poor lighting, minimal towels, no towel racks. We liked the hot shower and the pillows were t bad. Staff was friendly enough. Truthfully we couldn’t wait to leave early in the morning.

Had a pretty bad experience here start to finish. As I walked in a couple warned me check in would be a long process, and they were absolutely right - it took me about an hour and a half. The first person I talked to was unable to find my payment info and said that I needed to pay again, and to add further insult, insisted that it wasn’t the hotel’s fault but mine for using a “rinkydink” service to book (Expedia). I joined the sizeable group of others waiting to speak to the manager, which took about an hour. To the poor overworked manager’s credit, she was able to resolve the issue relatively quickly after I showed her my receipt, so I figured it was just incompetence on the other’s part.
When I got to the room however, it proved disappointing - the door did not close fully unless slammed very hard, the drain to the bathtub had broken off, nothing but harsh green fluorescent lighting, hard lumpy pillows.
The hotel advertises breakfast, but clearly does not make enough food for the number of guests staying there.
I would recommend avoiding this place.

They had trouble finding out reservation, but once they found it it was great. Awesome room, very updated and large. Breakfast could use a little revamping though. Coffee was good, juice good, cereal, no muffins left. Waffles edible.

I booked my reservation weeks ago but wasn't found in the system. It took over an hour just to get to my room. Once I got to my room, it was so dirty, food was left in the refrigerator and none of the TV's worked. I had to wait to get another room , again. However, lilo is amazing and deserves a raise and a ton of recognition.

Customer service is ok. Facilities is old and not maintain well, especially the leaking shower, the pool and spa outside. Breakfast lacks a lot, coffee is stale. Place seems sad. And outside, there are questionable people hanging around tge hotel. Customer Service is ok.

Fix the little things
The check in process was pretty straightforward. The room was good except the TV didn't have a signal which I notified the front desk. And the young lady came to check it out. Couldn't get it to work but there was another TV in the room that worked. The room was nice but the bathroom was a little run down and needs brighter lighting. The mattress was comfy with lots of pillows... Breakfast was terrible there was nothing to eat. And the area was a mess. So much for complementary breakfast? ... There was some trash in the front area and homeless people are all around... All in all I was very comfortable the people working there are so friendly and helpful... If the owners put some money into the place and attention to details it would be so much nicer. And a better customer experience.

Non-functional pool/spa
Travelers should know that the website advertises falsely that there is a pool and spa. Apparently they've been closed for some time. Don't pay or pack extra thinking this amenity is functioning.

Lame Breakfast and Poor Attitudes
Poor customer service & horrible attitudes from the morning staff. The only breakfast food available at 8:25am was cereal & bread. All the tables were dirty and the trash over flowing in garbage can. Three staff members standing behind the counter talking to each other. What has happened to the customer service at this place? “Oh, we do not make any more food after 8:30am.”
Breakfast is from 6:00 to 9:00am. Do you make yogurt and bananas? No real cream for the coffee. The coffee was cold too!!! Do not waste your time at this hotel even if it is for a one night layover to catch a flight. Find another hotel.

Don’t stay here.
Thankfully we didn’t need to stay long, only one short night. took 30 minutes to get room key. Our room was spacious but the tv didn’t work. The shower curtain only closed part way due to a box built in the back of the tub for some reason. So we had an open air shower. Nice bar area but no sink. The fitted sheet didn’t cover the mattress.

The hotel was very clean but very run down. It took forever to check in (there was no line or anything but the person at the desk was having technical difficulties. The hotel is right next to a VERY shady Circle K with a lot of homeless wandering around. The bed sagged like crazy in the middle so it was impossible to stay on one side. The heater clanged so loud to the point of just turning it off in the middle of the night so we could sleep. The hotel covered taxi service to and from the airport instead of a shuttle which was a nice perk, but otherwise I wouldn't stay again.

The bathroom was dirty and horrible. Plumbing didn’t work, the toilet was not working properly. No water pressure. The shower was running all night. Nobody answered the phone at the front desk. The room was dirty and the bedsheets too. I will never book this place and I hope nobody does. We could not even shower during our stay since the bathtub was so dirty.

Easy Stay, Needs Improvement for Bathroom

Worst hotel experience of my life. When I called to try and get a shuttle at 12:30 am the lady was rude and unhelpful, put me on hold for over ten minutes, had to call back, and was hung up on. Then they would not answer the phone. The front desk person was very rude , inconsiderate and unhelpful. I had to go to a different hotel at 2 am in the morning because they refused to answer the phone. I will never stay at this hotel again.

The hotel is old, there’s stains in the carpet, bedding, walls, tub basically everywhere. The door aren’t secure. every time a surrounding door closed it sounded like someone was opening mines.

Hotel seemed pretty clean. It's very outdated. Tub is very old, faucet away form the wall, didn't drain well, rust marks and stains. Swimming pool was closed by the County, we didn't ask why. Pool looked clean, jacuzzi, not so much. So don't really know why.. That was a little disappointing. I was there for a race and was hoping to use jacuzzi. The sitting area outside the pool has very old, broken furniture. Breakfast was alright. The regular coffee for the rooms was on back order, so only decaf. Had coffee in breakfast area though. Over all, it was okay.

The room felt and looked like I was back in time in the early 2000’s. The toilet seat was all loose, the shower valve wouldn’t close all the way so all night I heard the drops of water. The shower was clogged so the water wouldn’t go down the drain. The bed creaked a lot, room was empty. Needed more modern furniture. The the hotel needs a whole remodel/makeover in my opinion. The gym was boring. No free weights. Overall my stay there was honestly a 1/10. The only good part was the lady at the front desk. She was very kind.

Bathroom Issues
The room itself was ok. The problem was the bathroom. The tap in the bathtub dripped constantly. When the toilet was flushed, the water ran so slowly into the tank, we had to reach behind the toilet to shut off the water valve so we could sleep in silence. The containers of body wash, shampoo and conditioner were mostly empty.

So many other choices in Phoenix, don't stay here
Arrived here late due to delays at airport and with rental car Night desk clerk was rude from the moment we walked in the door. I had pre-paid for the room but she gave us a run around. First said there was no reservation, then that it had been cancelled, then that they were all full, then did I want a new reservation for a room with a sofabed because thats all they had. All of this at 3am. A computer glitch I can l accept but the sheer rudeness of the clerk was unbelievable. She was talking about me to herself the whole time, real passive aggressive. Never once apologized for the situation about halfway through the interaction, I got on a chat with Hotels.com customer service to get a refund before leaving the property, and she said my son and I were trespassing and she was going to call the police. I told her to go ahead...she did not. Hotels.com did get a refund started, so we left. Ended up staying up all night and taking a nap when we got an early check in at another place. The worst hotel experience I have ever had.

Very pleased on both visits!!
Pamela at tge front desk was super helpful and friendly. I told her we were relocating from Houston, Tx and it was our second stay at this hotel in two weeks because we liked it. I explained that we needed to be close to our vehicle because it had all our belongings and she was able to accomodate us close to our preveous room on first floor. Also, Laurie (maintenace) was able to help us with TV issue.

We're not great connoseurs of hotel ameneties, but the Green Tree was a bit above the bottom-of-the-barrel, no-perks airport motel stay we're used to. Nice breakfast array with waffles, boiled eggs, and biscuits and gravy. A few broken fixtures, missing lampshade in the room, nothing really worth complaining about. Always that one non-working outlet in every hotel... Had a little trouble with getting a shuttle with international credit cards, but we were reimbursed for a taxi in cash, no real problems.

By far the best place we have stayed so far since arriving to Aizona. We have relocated from Houston, Tx and have gone from hotel to hotel. This place was very nice and well kept. The breakfast was also great. The overall value was excellent!!

Staff check in was rude for multiple instances. Asked a couple of questions and responded is that what it says there? Pointing to the paper that you won't look unless you're closely paying attention to surroundings. She did the same thing with my colleague who booked a separate room. She asked for water or where she can get it and staff responded no water, gym is closed. this is a 3 star hotel in an annoyed tone. Property is beside a gas station with at least 8 homeless people with 2 shouting at each other. Water was not working for a few hours in the middle of the day. All the other stuff would have been okay but the specific staff was extra. She didn't care about customer service. She shouldn't be somebody that should be working in reception if you care how you want to be perceived as a good hotel with at least decent customer service.

The rooms had a smell to them.
The furniture was ripped and torn.
The bathtub was stained with some type of red substance as well as dirt scum. Would not recommend staying here. The staff was nice but that’s about it.

Ok for airport parking.
It’s not a bad hotel for someone who’s stay inside of 12 hours and is catching a ride to the airport. But if you want to use amenities, you’re SOL. The spa and ice machine are broken. I need another gym is stated to open at 6 AM, it doesn’t open until 9 AM. No reason given by front desk staff.
Also, beware that this hotel is located in a shady neighborhood. The gentleman who works the desk is incredibly helpful. Unfortunately, I had a rude woman in the morning who gave me a snarky answer when I asked why the gym wasn’t open.

We had to switch rooms from the first initial check in because that room was filthy. We’ve been got sent to another room that was still filthy, but not as bad as the first. The bathtub was very dirty and had hair in it. Both rooms were hot and uncomfortable will not stay again.

No information given at check in. Had to ask about breakfast etc. After travelling in US for 1 month this is the only place that took a security deposit. Very little selection in “market/ deli”. Asked where to eat nearby.. suggested by reception that we go to Del Taco as only easily accessible place to walk to… disgusting. I was assured security deposit would be refunded by 12.30 on check out day. 2 days later, no refund. Phoned hotel, took ages to find our booking and eventually said there had been a glitch when we checked out and it hadn’t been processed for refund!!!! Refunded manually and sorted within a few hours.

Wouldn't stay again
Due to a delayed flight we had to make a last minute booking at a hotel. I chose this one because it was pretty cheap and based on pics, it was decent enough for a few hours sleep. Right when we pulled in, there were police cars everywhere with lights on, never found out why, and people without homes loitering all around. The only ray of light was the front desk clerk who welcomed us with a big smile. I wish I rememberer her name but it had been a long day. The 1st room we were in was only blowing out hot air in 109° weather. Again the clerk came through and moved us rooms without question and after hearing our situation, gave us toothbrushes and toothpaste. This room had better ac but the couple across the hall were yelling all night and the remote didn't work with the tv we had. The cleanliness was subpar but it served it's purpose. The clerk we checked out with wasn't as polite, but it was 3am. Wouldn't stay here again if I had a choice.

Hotel was nice, clean, but ac was not working, i got in room, ac was blowing hot air. Went to front desk and told them, they nicely gave me a new room, unfortunately ac was also not working properly, it seems like they don't service their ac units, we were hot all night, was really uncorftable, everything else was good, service, cleaninless, they just need to service their units specially now that we are at 116 degrees, also toilet paper holder was broken, which was not a big deal, but ac was
