This was a trip of encouragement to surprise a friend of 40 plus years. My amenities at Hampton Inn was outstanding. My train arrival was way off because I missed a scheduled departure. WhenI arrived several hours past check in there weee re no hassles and check in went quite smoothly

The staff here are the nicest I have ever encountered. they were all genuinely friendly and helpful. The breakfast bar was great and endless! And they were there immediately to help when I locked myself out of my room. Guess I wasn't the first to ever do that! Highly recommend staying here.

We booked two rooms for a family trip and got there and the rooms weren’t even cleaned and staff was rude. The hotel was under renovations at the time and none of the amenities were open with the exception of the pool

I think for the money I should have got more for my buck, normally the Hampton Inns that I stay is better. This was definitely okay for one night. The room was very convenient to shopping area and restaurants. Staff was great.!! They also have complimentary breakfast which was good.

Surprise construction site.
Our room/suite was clean and well laid out. The problem was that the hotel was in the middle of major renovations. Paper and tape on floors--had to be careful not to trip. Hall to only elevator was completely dark at times, had to feel along the wall for it. No warning before we got thrre. Breakfast was very poor quality

Taking into consideration that the hotel is being renovated and your staff was under additional pressure each and every staff member did an amazing job. They were cordial and friendly and the three nights that we were there we were very comfortable. We enjoyed the snacks that were provided and the safe trip bag when we left. We have stayed at other Hampton Inns but this one outdid themselves. Because we have family in the area we expect to be frequenting this hotel in the future Thanks again. Keep up the outstanding work

The staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was plain and adequate (no extras or special anything) for our one night stay which is about what I expected. However there were obvious repairs to the walls and room that made it appear not well maintained. I think the biggest complaint would be the uncomfortable bed. My husband and I both had a terrible night's sleep and woke up sore.

Good basic lodging
Pretty much standard-issue tourist class hotel. Not glamourous but it does the job well. Room had king bed, large TV, fridge (not stocked) and microwave. Toilet lower than typical toilet. Room faced atrium so it was pretty quiet. The pool in the atrium was closed for the season. There is a full shopping mall across the (main) road, and more shops (and a fondue restaurant) next to the hotel. Typical (free) breakfast set-up for this hotel class. Staff were pleasant and helpful.

We were in room 106 that - we now know - backs up to the kitchen, so starring at 4:00 we were woken up continually by what sounded like crates & buckets moving & industrial refrigerator doors slamming. They shouldn’t have paying guests have to stay in that room. :( :( :(

I had a good stay at this property, I met a gentleman by the name of Robert he was awesome very people oriented, the young lady who cleaned my room was outstanding she had my room spotless when she came in and the one young lady that was on duty Rashida was awesome as well we both had mom’s who needed hip replacement she was very service oriented as well and the young ladies who ran the kitchen kept the breakfast area looking spectacular always stocked Thanks guys for making my trip relaxing

Honestly, if the staff had not been so friendly, I would be unable to say I liked the property. It sounds minor, however, our room was next to the 3rd floor elevator which meant we heard that all night. The ice machine on our floor didn’t work so ai went downstairs and theirs also was broken. Because it was parent weekend for CNU, it was packed and the prices were inflated. I wouldn’t return.

The staff was very warm and friendly. The room and public areas were fresh and clean. My only complaint was the room layout. I had to work while I was there. The desk was right next to AC vent. Only other seating were two chairs positioned awkwardly in a corner. It felt like something was missing!

This hotel use to be our favorite hotel because of the service and cleanliness. Our 3 day stay was unsatisfactory 1.The bed was not on the rails correctly and I ran my shin into the bed bracket that was under the bed skirt. I Called the front desk explained what happened and a maintenance man came and was very concerned that the bed could of seriously injured someone, he fixed the bed and he would file a report. 2. the person who do room maintenance, we arrived to find trash left on the floor, and who ever made our beds twice did not care about doing their job properly, our personal pillow was on the floor, a 5 year old could of made the beds better. I took pictures because I couldn’t believe a Hampton Hotel would find this acceptable. 3. Checking out I explained to the front desk woman about our room and the incident and I would be doing a survey, she said, do a review. She than said, I needed to fill out an accident report, and I asked for the forms. She said, I needed to fill out with her and it will take some time. I said, I needed the forms and we needed to leave on time. She was very rude and aggressive. I said, you need to just check on your room people to insure the beds are correctly made on the frame, and show them how to make a bed and I walked away. The quality of service we pay to stay at Hampton /Hilton product hotels is no longer there, their standards are no longer friendliness, cleanliness, and professionalism to serve the customer.

Great quiet location, clean and friendly. Location to restaurants are a mile or less away. Breakfast was great with the standards eggs, oatmeal, breads and sweet breads & yogurts.
Only complaint is that coffee/hot tea is only served during breakfast hours 7-9 am. When competitor hotels offer these drinks all day, this hotel doesn’t.

Nice getaway!

Great hotel stay, but was charged $70 too much!
The hotel had great staff and the stay was great, but they charged me $70 over what was on the Hotels.com website. And of course, I can't find anything now that states what the original quote was! Again, the hotel was great! It's the reservation/cost that was a problem!

Great stay for family vacation to the area. Breakfast was well stocked and ample dining space was available in the lobby. The elevator was old but surprisingly fast. The gym however, needs so upgrading. Some free weights or cable machine would be an improvement.

Great Staff but Needs Repairs
The hotel was in fairly good condition. Carole was at the desk and she was very welcoming and pleasant. However, the fitness center’s cardio equipment sorely needs repair—both the treadmill and recumbent stationary bike were inoperable. This was a disappointment for me, since I specifically chose this hotel for its fitness center and I thought with the higher price point it was likely the equipment would be in good condition.
Overall, it was a nice stay. The staff and cleanliness of the hotel is what really determined my positive review.

Good price for a one bedroom, separate living room, kitchenette and free breakfast. The breakfast was ok. It was the typical options of premaid omelet, breakfast meat, waffle station, a variety of small boxes cereals, yogurt, toast, bagels, muffins, oatmeal, and fresh fruit. The mattress was kind of hard and not so comfortable. The bath tub drain was a bit clogged. Thankfully, the thermostat had the option to keep the fan on so that the outside noise could be drowned out. Other than that the stay was pleasant for a family of 4 with 2 teenagers.

I arranged with the hotel to pick us up at the airport. I contacted the hotel when we arrived and was told the shuttle would be waiting for us in front of the airport. When we went out front and looked for the shuttle it was not there - and this is a small airport. I called the hotel and they told us there were no drivers available and try lyft or ? I scheduled a lyft, waited 15 minutes but no one responded. I finally contacted a taxi (North End Cab Co) and they went out of their way to get us to the hotel. The desk clerk was nice. The room was comfortable, but had signs of aging. Once we were settled it was a convenient spot to go out from.

Great overnight stay
I was completely satisfied with my stay @ the Hampton Inn. The hotel staff was very nice & professional. The hotel itself was very clean, & had hand sanitizer stations throughout. The room was awesome, very, very, clean & comfortable. I would definitely stay there again. The mask requirement wasnt clear to me, however I wore my mask, but alot of guest did not. Overall it was an excellent choice & the location is perfect for eating & shopping.

Disappointing
We were traveling with two teenagers kids and wanted a suite to give everyone some space. The room was adequate in this sense, kitchen area was clean, newer fridge, adequate dishes/pans. However, the sleeper sofa was very worn and the fabric cover was torn on one of the cushions. There was no blanket in the room for the sleeper sofa and when we requested two blankets we were told there was only 1 available blanket, which I find hard to believe. There were stains on the curtains in the bedroom, and the bathroom had signs of water damage along the wall by the tub.
While masks were no longer required in the breakfast buffet area every guest was made to wear disposable plastic gloves. No compostable cutlery, and disposable coffee cups were “foam coated” even though they also supplied hot sleeves.
Our room was not cleaned (beds not made because of covid) yet even though we hung our towels for reuse they were removed daily and new towels supplied. From an environmental standpoint I’d give this property an F.

Good location. The staff was very inconsistent. My room was not ready for several hours after check in, they gave me a list of rules and had me sign an agreement at my pre check in time, and then they only allowed me a one hour late check out. Overall, I did not enjoy my enjoy my stay at this Hampton Inn and doubt I will return to this porperty in the future.

Friendly staff, convenient location!
Stayed here for a couple days to attend my son’s track meet. The staff has been very friendly and our room was clean and comfortable. The bed and pillows are ok, not the best but not terrible either. Location is great! Close to shopping, sight-seeing and some really nice beaches along the bay. I would stay here again.

The staff and property were amazing, friendly and kind. The suite was big and excellent. Bed was comfy. The only negative thing I can say is that the pillows were horrible and flat. It's something minor but made a good nights sleep impossible. I still highly recommend and would stay again if needed to.

Comparing with other Hampton Inn locations this one is pretty bad looking, specially kitchen and bathroom, living and bedroom looking better. Only one I've seen looking worse than this one, the one close to Washington Dulles. Rest of them very nice, it's just my opinion after 40 night in the last 5 years in Maryland, Washington DC and Virginia.

Pleasing, but a few negatives
Hotel room was clean for the most part. There was pee left around the toilet (on toilet seat and around the bowl). Rest of bathroom and hotel room was clean. Surfaces were wiped with lysol. Bed wasn't comfortable and the springs are squeaky. *Please note: Hotels.com says check-out for this hotel is noon, however, hotel check-out is at 11am.

Well I chose this hotel because of the ratings and it still offered breakfast and a pool right now. The pool closed early and I was told it would be open at 9 am.. then they tell me it's closed for cleaning until 10:30. The breakfast was pick four items with bagged muffins, fruit, omlets, oatmeal and smoked sausage, not breakfast sausage
