Great stay, BUT no bar as listed
Everything about start was good - location, staff, room, cleanliness. However, listing said there was a bar at the hotel, and there is definitely NOT a bar. Not a deal-killer, but disappointing that listing was wrong

Safe area, excellent to our one night stop over during a road trip. Breakfast has many choices. Pet friendly, up to two dogs per room for one flat rate. Definitely would stay again.

The staff at this location was amazing. It is conveniently located by the hospital. My family spent over a month at the location. The staff was friendly, understanding, and most importantly sincere. They worked with us daily to make sure we had a room if needed and accommodate us as needed. The room was clean, and staff was always working on the appearance of the hotel. The lighting was also very nice in the parking lot as a lot of times we were walking from the hospital to our room after dark.

Great place!!
Beautiful and maintained well, the room was very spacious, clean, and smelled fresh. The location is a great spot as well, parking is slightly cramped. I was very happy with the friendly staff, and the coffee available all night was great!

Pleasantly Surprised
We stayed here on a visit to Virginia Tech. While not the most convenient to the campus, it was not a bad drive. The hotel was clean and comfortable. Everything was easy. I would stay here again if in the area.

Great space. Bed of Rock.
My wife stayed in a very tiny hotel room in NYC before this stay on our way back home. The room was spacious but the only complaint I have ia the bed was rock hard.

Big, nice and clean rooms. High quality breakfast buffet, including fresh fruit salad. Really enjoyed the outdoor seating area. I rarely feel this good about the quality and value of a hotel, but this place did.

The hotel itself it’s very nice and staff was very friendly. The only negative things I could say is that the parking lot is very small. And it has been 10 days and I have still not gotten by security deposit back. But the hotel itself is nice.

The staff was wonderful. We loved the wide assortment of breakfast items to choose from. Very clean and well kept. Love the 24 hr free coffee and tea in the lobby. Excellent stay. Will definitely go back again.

The shower was a little difficult. The hand held shower nozzle was difficult to use and the shower curtain was to short so the water splashed out onto the floor.When not using the shower nozzle you had to turn the water off completely

The breakfast was extensive and had lots of variety. Since we were commuting and driving each day of our stay to Blacksburg (where we were unable to find any accommodations at all), we only slept and had breakfast at the hotel and we cannot address the other factors. The room was large with many amenities and very quiet, which we appreciated.

We travel quite a bit and this Hampton Inn was one of the best hotels we've stayed in for some time, even over other Hampton Inns. We stay in similar quality/rating hotels and this one had very helpful & friendly staff, the quality of breakfast was much better than others (and the attendant was so very hospitable and chatted with guests), it was just all around a great stay. I think this will be our go-to hotel in Roanoke.

Great stay!
I loved my stay! I just wish i could have enjoyed being in the hotel more. My 2 granddaughters and myself were there for a weekend swim meet at the Salem YMCA and it was perfect.

We stayed here to be close to the hospital and had a wonderful stay. The place was very clean, and the staff friendly. It wasn’t a planned stay so we didn’t have some basic necessities like a tooth brush and they provided toothbrushes and paste free of charge at the front desk. Overall a very comfortable stay would definitely stay here again.

Fall Nascar Race Weekend
The stay was ok, we stayed for the October Nascar race. The hotel itself was nice. We had to change rooms after the first night due to me booking 2 seperate bookings and the room we were in was unavailable for the next 2 nights we stayed. The 2nd room we were in had a terrible smell coming out of the ac. I woke up the morning we left and I couldent leave fast enough, I was very sick and couldent drive the first couple hours on the way home. Pretty sure the ac needed cleaned or serviced. Other than that it was ok. Breakfast was good.

We stayed here for the NASCAR race in martinsville. The parking was pretty limited and people parked like a holes to top it off, but we eeked out some space. Love the mobile check in and digital key, didn't have to interact with a soul to get checked in even while using a 3rd party booking. Our room was huge, we didn't want to leave! Extremely clean. The lights were a little squirrely but overall great stay and the price was very affordable for the location, time and beautiful room.

What an amazing hotel experience. Great staff, immaculate room, even a listing of all the TV channels, over the top breakfast options, and the most comfortable bed I’ve had in any hotel. This hotel is going into my “permanent” file for future travel.

Comfy beds, unusual parking
Parking was a little strange. Some parking out front the rest out back accessed only by going through the hospital parking lot.
Also, the hotel doesn’t recycle, so we brought our plastic bottles home with us. The beds were extremely comfortable!

Not sure what your policy is concerning house keeping services on extended stays, but I had to request fresh towels after the 2nd day (3 day stay). The bed never received fresh linings and did not get made until after the 2nd night's
stay. Parking is tight, but I am not sure you can do anything about that.
Everything else was exceptional.

Parking is tricky but ok
Hotel was fine, parking was the issue until we sorted things out. We arrived later in the day and were shocked to find the parking lot full and barely enough room to turn around in. After checking with the front desk we found out the hotel shares a back parking area with the adjacent hospital. Once we worked all that out it was fine.

The property is nice. Clean rooms. The only objection I have is the Gouging going on right now. They charged $75.00 for my little dog. I never ever paid that amount before. But wait until recession hits and then we will see what they charge then.
