Does what it says on the tin.
Its a business/airport/cruise hotel, bit further out from the airport than I expected, but only 15/20mins away. But worn in places and showing its age. Staff excellent and breakfast was surprisingly good. Overall great value for money, Blue Lagoon was three times the price and its not three times better. Would stay again.

Wonderful start to a trip
The front desk service was amazing. They recommended a restaurant that turned out to have wonderful food. They arranged a shuttle service to the cruise port. All around great start to a vacation.

Hot water issues all stay.
My mom (78) and I were in town for a family occasion, and chose to stay here because Hamptons are usually very good, and an overall decent value.
The staff was nice at check in, room was fine, but the problem started that evening. When my mom went to shower after a long plane flight, we had no hot water. none. Ice cold shower for an arthritic 78 year old.
I called to the front desk and was told that the hotel had no hot water all weekend, and we were supposed to have been told at check in. We. Were. Not.
And how is there not some kind of emergency service/plumber/contact to prevent an ENTIRE HOTEL from being out of hot water??
The next morning, we had hot water again. I called the front desk about compensation and was told that since I booked through hotels.com, I had to go through them.
But I got a hot shower. Yay!
Later that evening, after our family event, mom went to shower. Again, no hot water. Did I mention that she's 78?? I called the front desk, and was told that yes, there were issues again. Seriously?!?
The next morning, it was fine again. But honestly ridiculous for a reputable, name-brand chain.
Breakfast was fine. Good coffee! Room/beds/pillows were nice. Honestly just the water situation was rough all visit.
(And fyi - contacted hotels.com and they contacted the hotel. Hotel offered $20 and some Hilton points. Sheesh. Hotels.com kicked in $100 in OneKey points but still a disappointing stay all the way around.)

Had to have 3 room changes while we were there for different reasons, 1 one the bathroom leaked in the room. Second one someone stared smoking pot and turned the whole side of the building into a hotbox. All the rooms had wall damage where sheetrock was visible. All the tubs looked liked they had been painted and it was peeling. the rooms said one Kingsize bed and a pullout sofa bed but if you used the sofa bed there would be no room to walk

This is a run down property that is not up to Hampton standards. Elevator did not work. Hair dryer did not work. Breakfast was cold and not tended well. Many better options for Miami Airport area especially at that price point.

Easy stay before our cruise. Familiar hotel much like the Hilton at the Rome airport. Last stay at this location had a poor shuttle service from MIA. We opted for a rental car and taxi this stay, so did not use it. Breakfast was good and convenient. Nice herbal tea in the lobby after dinner. Nice dining options nearby.

Worst Hampton Inn
Did not have the room I booked (2 beds), only a king with a pullout. Then did not have any extra pillows. Noisy air conditioning. Breakfast was poor and almost nothing left at 9:30 with no staff in sight. Easily the worst Hampton Inn experience I’ve had.

Room smelled of urine. We were not able to shower due to no water. They advised that it would take "hours" to fix. No refund provided. Stay ANYWHERE else!

I explained to the front desk in the morning, that as I was talking with a friend, when I saw something out of the corner of my eye. I told my friend that I think I saw a mouse. Later that evening, I saw it leave from under the couch and ran towards the desk. I noticed that it was a cockroach.

No hot water and less concern.
Facility is clean and well situated but they let us check in knowing they didn't have hot water. We only found out that night. Still did not have hot water in the morning. Acted as if it was no big deal.

Some areas need an overhaul. Paint peeling in bathroom, mold around tub etc. Breakfast wasn't very good, food was cold and kept running out of coffee.

The major complaint is the sustained odor when entering the room as if entering a gym. Though the room was cleaned, there was a horrible odor (possibly the carpets) that made the stay less enjoyable.

The property wasn’t the issue the issue is Expedia gave us false information they said there was shuttle pick up from the port of Miami to the hotel and I have it in documentation when I called they said no I had to provide my own transportation and it cost me extra $30 if you’re gonna give him this information at least you can rectify it by paying the $30 that I had a 4 cup

Hotel was responsive fir airport transfer. Ck in was efficient and friendly. Room clean, comfortable and well appointed. Breakfast offered a good selection of hot foods, not just the topical continental. Was not aware that there was a Taco Bell several hundred feet from the hotel. Will definitely use next time. All in all, a very positive experience

They had a good breakfast.
Their website needs to let people know that the free shuttle stops running at 11pm, and they should run their shuttle until at least 1am. Our flight got in at 1045pm, but by the time we got our luggage it was after 11pm; we waited at the airport for 40 minutes, watching other hotel shuttles picking up passengers (including Hampton Inn Miami Airport East). We finally were able to get in touch with the hotel and found out about the shuttle not running after 11pm. We had to end up taking a taxi.

Choosing what channels I watch?
Cable service in my room had all the channels listed on the menu. However the TV in the lobby/ breakfast area was missing ONE channel.
CHANNEL12: MSNBC;
CHANNEL13: blank;
CHANNEL 14: CNN.
Mysteriously, channel 13 is FOX NEWS. Hmmm

Clogged Toilet
The toilet was clogged after the first time of use. I contacted the Front and request someone to repair and plunge the toilet, they did send anyone and after calling the front desk again they stated that they did not have a plunger on the property and would go buy one at the store. I was forced to exit my room to use the bathroom in the lobby throughout my entire stay.

unsatisfactory transfer from airport Aug. 10th
The hotel accommodations was satisfactory. My complaint however is with the shuttle service from the airport. My family and I had to wait over 2 hours for the shuttle despite calling the hotel at least 3 times and being told the bus was on its way. Every other hotel shuttle appeared many times but Hampton shuttle was not timely sent.We did not arrive to the hotel until after 9pm.

The staff is very friendly and knowledgeable. Loved the pool and complimentary breakfast. Room was nice and big. The airport shuttle took along time though. My plane landed at 3pm and I called right away. I was told the guy was on his way and should be 20-30 minutes however took him and hour and a half and he told me he didn’t know I was at the airport and no one told him. Overall hotel experience was very good.

After I made this reservation through Expedia and called the hotel front desk, I was misinformed and told the shuttle from the hotel to the cruise line dock would be free. When confirming my reservation on a second call to the front desk on a different day, I was again informed that the transfer to the dock would be free. When I checked in, I was informed that the cost is $30. Not a lot of money, but communicating incorrect information is very disappointing.

Checked into the room and the bathroom had not been cleaned. there was trash in the trash can and dirty towels on the floor. front desk told me to put the trash in the hall and someone would pick it up. never brought fresh towels.

The staff were very polite. The room was very clean. The major complaint is the mattress for the double beds were awful. They were very uncomfortable (hard) and I had a difficult time sleeping. I woke up with back aches.
