My sister and I asked different people on different days to service our room. Housekeeping never cleaned it over 4 days. They did bring extra towels once and that was all. I emptied the trash myself twice. The breakfast was the best part of the stay. There is a somewhat sketchy looking hotel next door where truckers stay overnight in its parking lot due to the area being near the US95 exit. This morning I saw a cop car in our hotel parking area with the officer inside our hotel. Don’t know what that was about. Maybe nothing but it concerned me and I was happy to be checking out. The stay was not worth the $209 a night that was charged.

Continental breakfast could be upgraded a bit.
Plus we needed more unsweetened options in the marketplace such as bottles of unsweetened ice tea or sugar free Gatorade. Evening cookies were great as usual.

Very friendly staff, but older hotel, and small items in room need repaired. The first room assigned had not been cleaned or bedding changed. Second room worked out well.

Upon arrival - the grounds and hotel lobby area was well kept, clean and smell was pleasant. The afternoon clerk was knowledgeable and friendly. The morning clerk was friendly and very competent. The room was clean, spacious and well stocked. The bathroom could be upgraded. The breakfast area was spacious and clean. There was a great selection of breakfast choices. Breakfast was very good.

It looked as if the building was fairly new. The grounds around it were pretty and well kept. The room was nicely clean. And the location was conveniently located to a lot of things in Melbourne/Viera.

The staff were helpful and friendly - they quickly supported me in preparing a room for me before check-in time. They consistently greeted me whenever in the hotel lobby.
The bathroom wasn't fully cleaned upon my arrival. The room was somewhat humid the entire time.

Pleasant stay in Melbourne

Very comfortable bed. Great shower. Nice touch with home made cookies and on tap tea/coffee.
Downside. Room 123 smelt damp. Fan in bathroom not working. Bathroom sink not clean. Bedside cabinet not clean. We were only there one night. If staying longer we would’ve asked to be moved as smell was quite unpleasant. Yappy dog in the next room. Maybe best to keep everyone with pets together and those without together.

Hampton inn Melbourne didn't seem quite up to par with the Hampton name. No microwave in the room, no drawers to put away your clothes, just not as fancy looking as other Hampton's I've stayed at. But the staff was great. Gollin in the breakfast room was helpful and friendly. Couldn't ask for better staff!

Walls are too thin... could hear everything going on next in the room next door and hallway. Didn't smell great either. Love Hampton Inn but not this location.
I do appreciate the lady at the front desk for asking the people in the room next door to quit yelling at 2:30am. Don't know what she said but it worked. Pay a little more and stay at the Hilton a mile or so away.

There were roaches in my room under the microwave. I left a jacket in the room and on the way home phoned a desk clerk who said he would check with housekeeping. Never called back so I called him back and he put me on hold to check again and never returned to the line. I then called that even and spoke to a different clerk who said she would check and call back. No returned call. I then called and left a message for the manager who never returned my call. I guess someone is wearing my jacket. At least call and say it couldnt be found.

When traveling I always stay at Hilton/Hampton Inn
I’m a Hilton rewards member and they are always my first choice.
First off let me say Travis at the front desk was wonderful! He is kind and accommodating.
To the powers that be let it be known, he is your saving grace in this review…
We went to our room and there was a smell of mildew, ok it’s 8:30 pm we are exhausted it looks clean enough let’s get over that. Just want to take a hot shower and go to bed. Well, 10 minutes in there are dogs barking. Not little dogs, big dogs and they are not letting up. Ok I understand we are in the aftermath of Hurricane Ian people are displaced and I am absolutely empathetic to that. I love animals but this is too much it’s not stopping and the owners are not in the room.
No biggie let’s get the room changed. New room. Lovely room. It smells clean and fresh. Th shower is hot and the bed is super comfortable. Day 2 left the room at 7:00 am to go to work came back at 8:30 pm (side note: upon check in I Was specifically asked if I wanted housekeeping in the morning, I said yes) went into the room and housekeeping had never come. Beds not made (I can get over that) No clean towels (that’s kinda a big deal when you’ve been outside working 13 hours)
All that in addition to no ice machines working on all 3 floors tend to leave a bad taste in your mouth.
Super disappointed in this location. The staff I encountered was friendly and wonderful but management needs to step up their game.

We stayed here during hurricane Ian evacuation. The whole experience was terrific. Easy check-in via the app, which puts a digital key on my phone so there was no need to go to front desk. The place is clean, pet friendly, and includes hot breakfast. They made a stressful situation less stressful. The only slight negative was that the Wi-Fi was weak or slow, which made working from there a bit more challenging. Other than that, it’s a great hotel.

No hot food
Stayed for 2 nights with hot breakfast included. We were told breakfast times 7 am - 10 am. Arrived in breakfast room on the first morning at 9.20 to find no hot food available. Enquired whether any more food was available but were told no, hot food has been put out but all gone and no more could be cooked. Another 15-20 guests arrived after us looking for breakfast. We have stayed at Hampton Inn hotels many times before and never encountered this problem. Very disappointing stay.

Family vacation to beach
I was very happy with our stay at Hampton Inn Melbourne. Everyone was very helpful and friendly, especially Dee at the front desk. We enjoyed the pool, which was open until 10pm. The room was spacious, clean, and had a bathtub (a necessity when traveling with small children). And there were lots of food options in the area, and it was conveniently close to the beach (maybe a 15 minute drive). The complimentary bread fast was great and included hot items (eggs, bacon, oatmeal, waffles). Free WiFi too!

We pre-booked this place when we were planning our family trip to Key West. We learned from our experience before on a holiday weekend and booked for the trip home. That’s a total of two stays a week a part. The first time we stayed, my father fell in the shower. Went to the ER by ambulance, and was told the insurance company would contact us. (Never did!) Two more family members almost fell in the shower because of cleaner not being rinsed off or the shower not being cleaned properly. A week later when we had no other choice but to stay again, there was no hot water in our first room. They gave us another room to use and I almost fell again because the bottom of the tub being so slick. This is by far the worst place I have ever stayed! NEVER AGAIN. If there was a place to put a negative rating, I would.

We liked the location as it was close to restaurants and I95 as well as the beach. The pool was tiny and not what we expected from a Hampton Inn. It was tiny like you'd see at a dumpy rod side motel.

2 out of 3 towels in the bathroom were not clean. They had someone else’s hair in them when I went to use them.
Other than that everything was fine. I love Hampton Inn. But unclean towels are not acceptable to me.

I had to wait for my room to be ready although they told me to come around 2:00. I guess they’re just short staff, since they don’t clean your room while you’re staying there. I didn’t like that the pocket bathroom door didn’t close all the way and their was always a gap when you tried to close it. The breakfast was good and the area was cleaned.

The linens on the bed and towels smelled as if they weren’t washed with detergent. They didn’t not have that fresh clean smell.
The adjoining door in my room appeared to be locked, but the lock wasn’t engaging with the opening. Relying on the additional door stop as security was unnerving.

It was clean and convenient. How ever our 2nd night at 2 am the AC started making this god awful noise like a rocket taking off woke us out of a dead sleep. When we told the front desk we had been told sorry and that they had been told it was fixed. But it clearly was not fixed. They said the could compensate us for that night but no one has contacted us and I have not received a refund. Room 204 is to be avoided.

They didn’t have our room ready at 4 pm, even though check in was at 3. We were unable to check in until almost 5 pm. This caused us to be late to my nephews graduation, very disappointing!

The room was contemporary which was nice. Not outdated. The room did have a weird smell though. Unfortunately they have rugs. The pool was very small but cute. The staff were very nice and helpful when you needed anything. Breakfast was just ok but they had apples, bananas, yogurts, bagels in case you don’t like the eggs and potatoes. Overall stay was ok and beds were comfy.

Nice weekend get away.
Cleanliness was great. Price was adequate. Staff was friendly. My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this Hampton Inn Melbourne location. The only thing I was very disappointed in was the hot breakfast. In my past and previous stays at other Hampton Inn locations there is more than adequate hot food to select. However at this location and stay that was not the case. Options were slim Saturday morning but worse Sunday morning as they ran out of scrambled eggs, had no orange juice, no pastry of any kind both days. That is my only complaint because I always brag and boast about the breakfast and wide variety of options to please anyone and everyone from little ones to adults with allergies or likes and dislikes.

A Nice Property and Comfortable Stay.
This is a very nice property and good location. Unfortunately, the COVID restrictions really takes away from the morning experience since I liked to relax downstairs with breakfast before I start my day. Also, customer service seems a little lax but it is probably due to being short-staffed again due to COVID. Overall it was a good stay and I recommend Hampton Inn generally.
