The room was clean and remodeled, but not completely serviced. The soap and shampoo dispensers were empty; there were no disposable cups for the bathroom (only two paper cups for coffee. The free wifi sign-in had a software bug that defaulted to reregistering and paying for internet - a trip to the front desk was met with a recommendation to keep trying, and only after going thru the motions were believed and given an override code to make our internet free as promised. These are small things, but other hotels get them right.

Dishonest people with no respect fo Customers.
I checked in to a room that the smoke detector was beeping and the phone did not work. I walked to front desk requested repair, 20 minutes late he front desk clerk came to door and said could not be fixed. Offered a new room, She then left and came back later and identified a new room, it was in the middle of a playoff game, I checked out room tv did not have game and the phone did not work. Again no phone to tell clerk interrupting the game, finally got a third room and had to move my self, more interrupting game, finally after two hours could unpack in third room, missed most of playoff game.
Nest day I returned expecting the room to be cleaned, I requested make bed, replace soiled towels, empty trash, I as promised this would be done when I checked in, I confirmed the promised a second time before I ever entered my room at check in!
I called down the clerk said they only clean rooms on third day, I miss understood.
I made a big mistake making a reservation at Hampton Inn Panama City.
There is more but your staff attitude will not do anything but blame me so I have wasted more of my valuable time.

I felt the room could be cleaner. Carpet looked dirty and tile floors were slippery. There was mold on the shower head.

We enjoyed our 4th of July stay with this property. This was our 2nd time at this place within a month. We plan on going back every time we visit the beach! Yes, there was construction going on at the front of the building, but it did not interrupt our vacation.

It was a unexpected stay and arrived late. Tried to shower but no soap was in room. Service desk said they don’t provide it but did provide shampoo and conditioner. That’s strange. Also 2 light didn’t work and no one showed up to fix. Breakfast was a disappointment cause always out of food. Wont stay again

The room I originally checked in too was outdated. The blinds would not open. The refrigerator didn't work and the room didn't smell good.
I requested to move and the room I got was very nice. Everything was updated clean and refreshing! The staff was very nice and accommodating!

Horrible time
I didn't have a phone in my room. When I asked for towels they said they didn't have any clean towels. We had a room downstairs and everytime someone come in the parking lot they lights shining directly in our room all time of night. This is the most horrible time I have EVER had at a hotel. I would not be returning back. Paid almost $300 and this is the services I get.

My daughter and I along with a friend and her daughter did a girls trip. We enjoyed our time at the hotel. Close to the beach. It was a family friendly hotel. The staff was great with their friendliness. Our breakfasts were awesome. We would stay at this hotel every time we come to the beach!

Nice room, very clean. The window treatments did not work. There was no way to raise the darkening shade. It appeared to be broken.
Lots of staff and carts in the halls during the AM causing some issues with passage. The halls are to narrow to accommodate that much activity during check out hours.
We will stay there again. It is convenient to the beach and restaurants.

Just find another hotel
Walking through the front door the place had a unique smell to it. Once we got the key to our room we get there and open the door immediately you can smell mildew, old dirty carpet it was horrible. I ask the housekeeper on the floor if I can change my room and he let me in a room across the hall the room was no different. The front desk lady (white/heavy) was annoyed that I wanted to change my room but she did give me a new room and key. I had to go out and buy alcohol to spray the whole room down. There was no mattress protector on one of the beds, there was 8 pillows and they all had pillowcases but only 2 had pillow protectors so I had to go and get some from the front desk. Housekeeping never came to our room to see if we need new towels since we stayed more than 2 nights. When I did ask for new towels and washcloths she stated she didn’t have any and go to the front desk. As I stop by their laundry room and ask the lady who was sitting there on her phone she said that they were in the dryer and didn’t have anything clean. Our last night several kids were in the pool having a fun time that front desk lady (white/heavy) came and kicked everyone out the pool area stating she had complaints and how its 10pm and they have to get out minding you pool close at 11 and everyone that was at the hotel on spring break. Even the breakfast lady had an attitude and wouldn’t put more muffins out for guest that asked. Paid too much to stay there and they service was poor.DO NOT STAY!

The room was very clean and comfortable. The view was not good, ocean front and balcony would have been better. Grandson would have liked a deeper pool, pool was ft. Deep at its deepest. Finally found a beach down the rd. About a 7 min ride to beech access which was Russel park. They had foot showers and ones for the body also. Clean bathrooms and dressing for putting on our swimsuits. The breakffast was big an included which was very nice. I would stay there again. I felt safe and the staff was super friendly. Made several friends too

After 5pm check in
Our room was over $500 for one right and was not available until after 5pm. We paid extra for club level and if closed at 7pm. We were told that we would receive a text when our room was ready. We did not and had to keep getting in line to check on our room. Very disappointed in this experience.

The bathroom had mold in the caulking and the floor wasn’t very clean. Most of the doors to the rooms looked like had had better days.
Other than that it was fine.
They are remodeling the third floor and hopefully they will do some improvements to other floors as well…we were second floor.

Shower Handel loose. Faucet Handel loose and valve leaking when onto sink when using. Floors made your feet dirty walking in the room. Noisy at night if your room was near the pool area. Paper thin walls.

I got scammed!! They took my money and I didn’t even get to stay there! The hotel clerk told me 2 other people came in before me with confirmation numbers and she didn’t know how because they had zero rooms available. Clerk told me to contact Expedia when I told her I wanted my money back. I tried to get a refund and Expedia keeps telling me they can not reach anyone at the hotel. Stay far away from Hampton Inn and Expedia!!! They steal your money!!!

Used to be a nice place but it’s seriously gone downhill!!! You have to beg for room service and then they might not even come do it, and they don’t really do anything but swap the towel… the bathrooms by the pools were almost the nastiest I’ve ever seen! Feces and urine smeared everywhere! We told management and they said the would clean it but 4 days later when we left it still hadn’t been cleaned. Not even close to worth what we paid!!! Last time we will stay there…

For the price, the room was in need of updating. Was dingy. Window covering didn’t work. Beds were not very comfy. My main complaint is that Expedia said the room slept 5 but it did not! And there were no cots or suites, so we had 3 people in one bed. VERY FRUSTRATING. Terrible night’s sleep for a lot of money.

Definitely not worth the money of holiday weekend
The bathroom had mildew around the bath fixtures and it wasn’t very clean at all. The fiberglass insert was discolored from patching and just very run down looking.
The pillows were possibly the cheapest pillows on the planet and the mattress was not comfortable.
The staff was very friendly, and the common areas were clean.

Tired of the COVID excuses - I expect better
Upon registration we were told that housekeeping doesn’t enter or straighten up your room during your stay due to COVID. Yet the next morning we see the maids cleaning up rooms, no masks, nothing. It’s just their way of saving money but still charging full price.

Via Expedia, I requested an "ocean front" room. Not only did request one, I paid for one. However, I was booked by Expedia at a Hampton Inn 1.5 FROM THE OCEAN!! I feel I am owed a refund because when I pay for something and have confirmation of the same, yet I am overcharged, I feel that is the only right thing to do.
