Hotel.com mistake !!
Hotels.com should be a little careful and picky about their represented hotels.The first thing we saw was a refrigerator with last nights leftovers still inside... the next was a room with ONE mini-soap, ONE shampoo, ONE lotion and ONE washcloth. So having to go ask for soaps and shampoos EVERYDAY got tiring. BTW, The pictures on Hotels.com had to be older ones, cause this hotel did NOT live up to the statements.

Our sheets were dirty and when we called the front desk for new sheets, they just gave us sheets and made us change our own. I usually wouldn’t mind, but I had a 7 week old baby that was crying and I was trying to put down and with my hands full this was a big inconvenience when it should’ve been done to begin with. The breakfast was bare, but okay for a quick grab out the door.

Bed was great size, ac system was little weird wouldn’t stay on kept turning off. Breakfast was very slim at 7 am Slept decent er though the bed was on hard side, had the donor disturbed signed on the doors d housekeeping still came in my to do towels and make the bed. But it overall decent place would stay again

Not your best choice.
The King bed is hard. My husband loved it but I ended up sleeping on my back with my knees supported by two pillows. A very rough night.

The property is old and outdated. Have tried to renovate but sadly all the wrong things. I actually stayed here before and not terrible. Mold was all over the vent in bathroom. Blood looking substance on shower curtain. The room was so smelly my throat started hurting immediately. Just not good.

As soon as we walked in the door, we saw a roach crawling on the floor. When we went to the front desk, the receptionist was very understanding when we told her that we couldn't stay there. However, when Expedia notified us and said that the manager refused to refund our stay, even though we did not even sit down in the room. I have requested for Expedia to attempt to notify them again before filing further complaints.

Do not recommend
Cigarette butts floating in the pool. Room absolutely disgusting, looked like chewed tobacco spit all over the wall and floor, clearly not cleaned after the prior atrocious guest. Do not recommended unless you want to thoroughly clean prior to sleeping. My family and I were driving home 12+ hours from vacation and decided to book a room for the night to drive 11 hours the next morning. Terrible idea. Should have chose elsewhere.

The property is okay, but for the cost. It's not enough at all, this is a motel All the wind doors are outside, The pool is tiny and the Wi-Fi is literally non existant. We were told by the woman checking this and that they had great wife. And it's just not true. My son was having to use his Hotspot off his phone. If we were paying $85 a month that might be okay, but we're not, we're paying more like 400.

The property was not at all as it was represented on Expedia. The covers were very old and stained. The pillows has large sweat stains and the smelled bad. We were in the room 5 minutes ani I asked for a refund and we were going somewhere else. Manager said our card would be refunded for the 2 days we had purchased. It’s been 2 weeks and still no refund. I want to add I was very nice when talking with management about room. People have different ideas about what’s ok and that just wasn’t ok for me. If it’s ok for them to operate that way that’s fine but I couldn’t stay there

Highly disappointed
When we arrived the air was off and it was hot so we had to leave immediately for a couple of hours till it kinda of cooled down. After driving all day I just wanted to rest and couldn’t because it was extremely hot in our room. Ice machine never had ice for the entire 4 day stay. Party held a couple of doors down from us loss of sleep. I was in town for a memorial service for my sister. And this is definitely not something I needed to add for me to have to deal with. The manager did give me $2.00 for a bag of ice about 2 miles away. We were highly disappointed in this hotel and will not return.breakfast was near non existent so when they run out of pancake batter they don’t replenish the batter. We ended up eating donuts for two days because a few apples and cereal is mostly what was provided.

In need of Overhaul
Very old facility, smelled terrible (I burned a candle when inside the room as my allergies went crazy inside) This was a third party reservation in a late Friday evening and had it been daylight we would’ve moved on….on second day we had to ask to get trash and dirty towels removed. A lot of loud people in parking lot as we were in backside of the facility! The so called “ breakfast “ was awful!! I think this place needs an overhaul, especially furniture etc! Our TV was going out also…. We only stayed because we were tired and couldn’t get in our next place until Monday!!

Enjoyed my stay
I was afraid of staying there because of the reviews that I read, but I enjoyed my stay. The room was clean, the bed was comfortable, and Nola made my experience there wonderful from check in to check out! Also very close to the base.

Will not stay here again. Rooms need updated so bad, dirty outside, mold in the bathroom, and included breakfast was cereal, waffles and 2 juices. Had higher expectations for a Baymont. Very disappointing.

Nothing was liked about the property. Immediately felt unsafe upon arrive during DAYLIGHT hours. Manager has been unresponsive for five days already in reference to refund to self or response to Expedia. The physical hotel looks nothing like what is portrayed on the Expedia site. Read reviews throughly before booking this property. Spend only a few dollars more and go stay close by at the best western in Navarre which we had to do and everything there was perfect and comfortable with professional and friendly staff. Major disappointment in this false advertised Baymont property and even more disappointed to be refused a refund from hotel itself or a relocation through expedia since they were NEVER able to make contact with the property manager for almost a week.

The room quality was awful. The room smelled like weed. Other people did not follow the 24/7 quiet rule. Manager and staff did not seam to care that the other guest where smoking and being loud. Over did not feel comfortable or safe in this hote.

Would stay again, but not my first choice again
The hotel is blue, not as pictured. Rooms look different than pictured. Our room smelled like marijuana. Bed was very comfortable. Breakfast is extremely limited. Fridge would only stay cool if on medium, which wasn’t enough to actually keep it cold. Toilet would only flush is the lid was taken off of the back.

Pest Controls Issues

Not for family stays
Not what we were expecting based on the ratings. The room was somewhat clean. We had pillows that were dirty so we didn’t use them. The outside of the hotel looks run down also. Someone had removed the small refrigerator from their room and left it outside. Since the doors to the rooms face the street, we had to pass by several rooms where guests had the doors open and were smoking/ drinking. We definitely did not feel safe and did not have a comfortable sleep.

Do Not Stay Here.
There were bugs in the bathroom and in the window sill area (large spiderweb with multiple dead insects), mold/mildew in the A/C unit, and it was not clean. We immediately checked out and left.

Please DO NOT stay at this property it is infested with cockroaches. There was cockroaches all over the room. Hundreds of cockroaches all over the floor, bathroom, walls, night stands even the bed.

Hotels.com service great, hotel was average.
Everything w Hotels.com went well. The Hotel is average but the bed provided me an excellent sleep. Purchasing items from the desk required cash. I couldn’t charge it to the room or pay w credit card which was unacceptable. Maybe an issue booking w third party but the front desk should be able to sell items w a credit card.

I like that it was available, but it is cheap motel, with smelly, ugly rooms, and staff that treat people poorly. I think they get a lot of hustler types, so they act as if all customers are out to hustle.

We had roaches and bugs in our room and they switched to a different room and that room had roaches and bugs and wasn't cleaned from other guests very nasty place. I'll never book through hotels .com or Baymont hotel again

Front lady was welcoming but once I entered into my room I totally regretted not have driven 30 more min. To a nicer hotel. It had some bugs at entrance and under desk. Bed headboard had hand prints (didn’t even tried to sit back on headboard) and bathroom smelled like pee. I saw they tried to clean it before my arrival but just overall the facility is not worth 350. You get what you pay for especially on a weekend so if you want something more decent for your family just pay or drive bit more.

I rented two rooms, cost around 2200.00. We found active Bed Bugs in both rooms. When asked to change rooms we were advised all booked. We bought bed bug spray and used it all up in both rooms. I am very unhappy with the lack of concern by the hotel management, at check out they provided a 30.00 credit for bugs(listed on my invoice). I do NOT want to stay here ever again.

Room smelled like mold. Bathroom in disrepair. Multiple lights with no bulbs. Woke up to roaches crawling on belongings and in shower. Chair was so stained we couldnt sit in it. Absolutely disgusting place to stay. Thank God Im only staying one night and checking in someplace else.

The room was filthy. Floor was very dirty. Water on floor in bathroom. The curtains smelled like stinky feet. Air conditioner would not cool properly and was LOUD! The bed had a huge dip in the middle so my husband and I were stuck in the middle all night! Not comfortable at all! I would have rather slept in the car except that we saw what seemed to be prostitutes all over the parking lot and in the area.

DO NOT STAY HERE!! I was verbally assaulted by the night concierge and was told to leave at 10:30 at night when we were only there for less then an hour all because my newborn kept crying and we got a noise complaint because of it. So I lost $300 because of the deposits and they refused to refund me. I would NEVER recommend anyone to stay there ever. Horrible experience. He even made me cry and told me to “learn to control my children” he’s a newborn.

I reserved my room with my debit card. When I checked out I paid cash. The manager said the card was put on hold and that the money would be returned to my card in 2-3 business days. It was not returned so I called the hotel and the manager said I did not pay cash. He lied. They are stealing money at this hotel and I am not the first this has happend to. The reviews back this up! The hotel is very dirty and the air conditioner is so loud it sounds like birds are dying inside of it. It was supposed to be a non smoking room
And it wreaked of smoke. They said no food in the room. I was scared to have any food in the room anyway because of the roaches. I have read all the reviews and the manager was very rude! The other reviews say they have bed bugs! This is just all around a disgusting place! Drug deals going on in front. I did not feel safe or comfortable! I would never stay again and I hope I can save someone else from staying!!! I am still waiting to hear from owner! This hotel is an embarrassment to Expedia!

Roach motel
There were roaches in the hotel. The air conditioning made such a loud noise you couldn't hear the TV. The drawer was completely broken and laying on the floor. Accidentally double booked and they told me they wouldn't charge me only to find out later they charged me and then only wanted to refund me for one out of two nights. It would have been better to sleep in my car.

Ceilings had water leaks, walls and carpet filthy and full of cigarette burn marks (no smoking room), sink wouldn't drain, and shower about toke skin off, and beds box spring was broke...... Just to name a few items.

decent hotel
This hotel was OK, much better than the days inn just a mile down the road. The beds were comfy the bathroom was nice and updated had a refrigerator, microwave, coffee pot! But I wished with COVID these hotel check-in people, which at this hotel I think it was the owner, a very nice Indian gentleman checked me in but no mention that there would be no breakfast, no mention that the gym was closed, no mention of any of the amenities that I’ve basically booked here to enjoy we’re gone....So that was very disappointing but all in all a good hotel, decent price just wish we had all that we paid… I think when you have all these amenities that are missing thing you should lower your rates…

We will never stay there again. Our room smelled musky, I killed 2 roaches in the 2 days we stayed there, there was barely any water pressure in the sink, and we had to put a towel under the door because the crack was so big, a snake or any kind of bug could easily get in the room. The noise from other guests outside was extremely loud and the mattress on the bed was the worst I’ve ever slept on in my life.

Baymont by Wyndham in Mary Esther, Fl.
We stayed in a room with a king size bed and a loveseat. The loveseat makes the biggest difference. It is so nice to have a spot to sit in.
The bed was comfortable. The shower was ok. The only real complaint we have is with the air conditioning. The units really need to be serviced or replaced. We added a fan and it made the room more bearable.
There was nothing much to the breakfast due to Covid-19; which is understandable.
I think maybe they are still in the process updating things. It looks like Wyndham recently acquired the hotel.
The is an odor to the water. I don’t know if the hotel can do anything about that.
We bought water and a coffee maker since the room only has a by the cup Coffee maker.
For the money, it’s not bad.

Staff not polite. Poor condition of facility. Awful water pressure, outlets did not work or work properly, couldn’t hear a curling iron. AC on high was barely blowing. Parts of wall coming off. If we had not checked in at midnight and prepaid the room would have found somewhere else to stay! Never again

The room was big enough for us an that it was close to everything we had planned. But then. This The fact as soon as i got there tge manger came out told me that my family that lived down there couldnt visit an that my grandkids had to be quiet because he didn't want any complaints for anyone but the ppl that checked in about midnight was very loud kept knocking on our door up until 3 in the morning

Not the best experience
Stay was not great. Our room was decent. The furniture was old, scuffed up, and didn’t appear to be wiped down properly. The mini fridge was too large for the dresser it sat in so it hung over the edge and wobbled. The door to the bathroom didn’t close all the way, and the toilet didn’t flush half the time. Some of the light fixtures didn’t have bulbs. I tried to use the blow dryer in the bathroom and it didn’t work- the woman at the front desk was very kind and gave me another one to use- it was then that I realized that the outlet next to the sink was the problem, not the dryer. Since the room didn’t have many outlets I was stuck drying my hair next to the window with no mirror (not the end of the world, just frustrating). The breakfast was not very good- I was going to take it back to the room to eat but was stopped and told that they do not allow that since it causes a problem with roaches (admittedly, I totally missed the sign posted indicating guests couldn’t take breakfast to rooms). BUT my issue with this is 1. Why tell a guest that they can’t take food to the room because of roaches (could have been worded much more tactfully); and 2. There is a microwave and fridge in the room so obviously guests will be eating in the room anyway. It was just strange. Lastly, on the day of checkout we were woken up to knocking on the door to be asked by an employee if we had kids because someone’s child was in the parking lot unattended... overall a very weird experience.

Was dirty crumbs on bed. And broken glass all o er the room bathroom and under the sink. Upon further inspection looked like a glass meth pipe. I have 3 young children with breatbing problems let alone god forbid they step on one of the shards of glass that would make them sick or they could dye. We are a drug free family and will not be staying with this hotel again. When bring it to the front desk i was not offered a new room just a refund. But because he had chargex my card for an extra $100 on top of the $ 80 i paid before that the room was toteled $168 for a nigh the day before christmas and that $100 being my 4 year olds christmas present money he had nothing under the tree so to him santa forgod he even was here. Thank you hotels.com for sending me to a drug hotel

Walls are thin , you could hear everything. Sink was cracked. No water pressure from sink. Duvet was stained. Floor (Wood laminate) was dirty (wasn’t mopped). Back side of Door to room was sticky and meldewy. Lamp shades had meldew on them. Very disappointed. If I wasn’t locked in from paying already, we would have left after checking in.

After a long day of packing the moving truck, we were exhausted. The Customer Service Representative was expedient with getting my info and issuing the keys. The room was in perfect condition and, although it was a short stay, it was exactly what we needed when we needed it. The price was phenomenal for the quality of the room.
