Staff was courteous and friendly, check in simple and easy. My room was clean and comfortable (renovated not too long ago?). The hallway was clean with recently re carpeted floors. Breakfast was very basic with many prepackaged items but this did allow me to take items easily back to my room.
Pleasant stay, good night’s rest while in town for an event.

I went by what was shown on the website the room i was given was something i would expect if i rented a room for $49 a night. The leather couch in the room should have been in the trash and the freezer was so full of ice. The pool was closed due to E Coli. The website never stated any of this. I honestly think I should be given a refund.

Outdated but alright
The rooms were pretty old. Fridge and heater fan were so loud. $40 pet fee, pretty steep for a second rate hotel. Would only stay again if there were no other options.

Not worth the price!
Pool and hot tub not working. Was not offered a discount. They said we could cancel but we had four rooms with five couples. Was unable to find another Hotel to accommodate. Toilet flushed on its own, broken coffee table, no doors on closet, No duvet only two thin sheets. Microwave was not usable because it had a horrible smell in it. The continental breakfast was lacking. Only packaged oatmeal, some bread and yogurt and boiled eggs. Coffee was like water. Would never go back.

The Days Inn in Fargo was a nice simple, basic hotel. The staff was helpful and friendly, even made sure to reach out to me prior to my stay to make sure I was aware their pool was not operational at that time, which was very thoughtful. (Didn't matter to me about the pool, but I appreciated their effort anyway.) - I would stay there again, as it was a good balance of affordability and amenities.

Booked this room to take grandkids swimming when we visited. Got to the hotel 30 minutes after check in time only to find out our room would not be ready for 45 more minutes and the pool was closed due to unexplained issues. I will never stay at a days inn again! Had no option cancel or I’d have gone somewhere else!

Checking in I had this full page security thing to fill out and had to put in a $50 hold that lasts for 3 days in case there was any damage to the room.
The said it was because I used a 3rd party (Expedia).
Read in between the lines “We are penalizing you for using the travel app.

Very disappointing
WiFi not working and not fixed. Pool had been shut down by local health department and hot tub (tho advertised) non-existent even if the area was open. This is not worth a dime to stay here.

Would Stay Again
Great customer service and care. We called ahead prior to booking online after having difficulty with Travelodge. Love the flat rate for the pet fee ($25) that was for the entire stay, not per night! The only drawbacks were the breakfast selections and the pool being down. The latter could not be helped so it was completely understandable.
The beds were comfortable and we all slept pretty well throughout the stay. The area was fairly quiet even for the location of the hotel being near West Acres mall. One thing I noticed sometimes was the heater fan being slightly noisy when it kicked on but eventually would stop. I liked that there was a heating lamp in the bathroom so that was a nice feature. The attendant we had also gave us a close room that was next to the fitness center and the front of the hotel. I would stay here again and hopefully the pool will be operational by then ;-)

Keep in mind you get what you pay for. If you are just looking for a place to sleep go for it. If you are looking to enjoy yourself, go elsewhere.

We arrived late in the evening, and had another hotel room fall through, so we’re looking for a good rate. we were given the best rate they could offer, and in the morning they allowed us a late check out, even though they had a Christmas party happening! Wonderful experience!

Front desk staff was completely inflexible and rude. I booked this hotel specifically because their app indicated pet friendly. I was not informed there was a fee for pets when checking in. At 11pm I was informed that I had 15minutes to leave the premises because I had not paid for my dogs. I indicated that I was not informed of this when checking in, but would pay it at that time. The staff member indicated that was unacceptable and we had to leave immediately. No matter what I suggested to resolve this issue, she just insisted that we leave immediately and then called the police. I will never stay at Days Inn again.

The staff was incredibly sweet.
The door did not work properly the entire time we stayed - each day we would have to go and get new keys and still kick the door in order for it to open. The breakfast was horrible. Otherwise, it was an average stay.

It was an uneventful stay, except for somebody trying to get into our room a couple times, because they were either too stupid or drunk to know where their actual room was. That’s not the hotel’s fault; more of a personal life decision thing.

Picture I saw online looked like it was close to the Fargo dome. Booked it, 10 min later they would not let me cancel the booking due to their 24 hour cancelation policy after I was told by staff member that the policy is discretionary. Room was dirty, bathroom fan was super loud, light switch did not work, front door was locked and nobody was at the front desk before the time they had posted, saw multiple cars driving in the area with loud music after 10:30p in and out of hotel parking lots. Not a good neighborhood...

The staff were all pleasant and allowed us to check in early so that was nice. But there were a couple of drawbacks. There was no elevator and we were on the second floor so had to lug big suitcases up the steps. The room had just two big towels and two small towels. The shampoo bottle was half empty so obviously it had been used already. There were three visible strands of hair on the shower wall when we got there. There was just one cup for water. There was no coffee maker, which is odd but also not listed in the room details. I just expected it. And there was no guide for tv channels or any information for amenities or area dining. Very stark. But, for the price it served its purpose as a place to sleep, I suppose.

I wish they had a hot breakfast with waffles, meat and eggs if not it would be nice to get a breakfast sandwich that could go in the microwave. Staff was awesome and rooms were great. The TV reception was inconsistent.

The hot tub was not in working condition. This information should be shared at time of booking or time of check in. We had to ask after checking the pool area only to see the hot tub covered. The breakfast had good coffee, but stale bread and bagels. The hardboiled egg and yogurt were good though. Toilet also ran forever and only drained every 2nd flush. Time for this hotel to do some upgrades. We won't be back.

Economical stay but many small things related to the condition of the room would get us to stay elsewhere next time we are in Fargo. Very pleasant staff, but the hotel seemed understaffed. Room condition issues were as follows: door handle to the bathroom kept falling off, toilet keep running so you had to lift the lid occasionally to fix it, missing tv remote, replacement remote was not programmed to the tv so therefore could not turn on the tv or control the volume, no coffee maker in the room, breakfast was very basic and was under stocked so it was picked over quickly. Lastly, although a minor issue, there was only a small garbage can in the bathroom and no recycling option so terribly insufficient for a two night stay.

This hotel just doesnt improve. The window was falling apart, someone could easily break in, ground level. No coffee makers, not a big deal just letting you know, bathroom was dirty, we didnt shower because there was so much hair in the tub, nasty. Have stayed here a few times and it just keeps getting worse.

Although the breakfast area and check in area was clean and cozy, it’s the rooms that need some TLC. Some minor updates would help it go a long way. The couch in our room was one of those fake leather couches and was ripped up.
There was no remote to our tv so we had to go get one. Then we couldn’t do multiple options with it like turn up or down the volume.
Although not a big deal, it just kept adding to the experience.
The side door to the hotel had blood smeared on it.
One of the things we looked for when booking was free breakfast. There was no breakfast.
We were told a shipment had not arrived.
If that was true, then I can understand that being out of the hotels control. Still, it just added to the overall experience.
Honestly the only thing that made it bearable was the woman at the front desk. She was very polite and helpful and professional.
Please consider updating those couches and having a backup plan for breakfast.
And don’t ever get rid of the woman at the front desk.

Second time staying at this hotel. In June had a great experience. September weekend I was very disappointed. They advertise a breakfast and they had no breakfast. Just a sign apologizing for the inconvenience. Hotel selection was based on having a light continental breakfast, so this soured the experience.

Negatives: Saturday breakfast was bagels/bread, butter, oatmeal, juice, coffee and 2 apples. No cream or milk. Sunday was juice or black coffee. To say they serve breakfast is false advertising, in my opinion. Halls were dirty and doors were hard to open/close. Our room did not get made up during our stay.
Positives: evening staff was very friendly and helpful. Room was clean and spacious. Motel was quiet. Room seemed to have been renovated with new mattresses, bedding, towels and couch.

The check in staff was courteous, however the Manager Linda was not helpful, nonchalant and dismissed us.
There was no milk for coffee, hair in the bathtub (not ours), very limited complimentary breakfast, etc.
Will not return to this property and will be sure to share our views with family and friends.

Worst hotel stay ever. Cable TV hotel wide didn’t work. Complementary breakfast consisted of old dried up bagels or old bread. They had packets of butter but you had to use a plastic spoon to put it on your bread. Only coffee but it had to be black because they had no milk or creamers.
Apparently they haven’t been resupplied for weeks.
Will never stay at a days inn again.

Arrived early and tried to check in and the girl was quite rude telling us to come back at 3. Only time I’ve been told no early check ins. The hotel was quite empty. The breakfast was bread and a couple of bagels.

When we got there we found our room had not been clean, at eight pm. Neither was another guests room at the same time. The breakfast was bagels or toast with no knives for butter and apples. No cream for coffee. The worker worked hard to get us a clean room and it wasn't his fault. He deserves a raise for dealing with what must be embarrassing. The bed was nice and we slept good. The sheets were clean in the bedroom, but the bathroom was not. Wiping the counters showed dirt, and the floor was terrible. The front desk clerk could not direct us to the room and they ran out of coffee for breakfast. The breakfast consisted of cold cereal, and bread that could be toasted, no fruit, there was some yogurt. High carb breakfast, only protein available in yogurt with sugar. We went elsewhere to get breakfast and coffee.
