Clean property. Breakfast was extremely poor, just oatmeal cereal and bread. There was no eggs or bacon. It was evident that management are saving monies of food and manpower. Pillow cover missing, front desk asked us to come down from the room to get it as she was the only one working.
Will not stay at any Hilton location since breakfast was a let down. Only meant to attract unsuspecting customers, sad!

The assistant/acting manager Desiree Perry was not only very customer service oriented, but went above and beyond to make sure that my wife and I felt welcomed and had our needs met and exceeded. Because of her, we will definitely consider coming back to this establishment and her service left such a great impression that we’re trying to see how to make our way back to Cornelius and the surrounding areas near Charlotte. Thanks Desiree!

Hampton Lake Norman stay
The hotel didn’t have the handicap shower accessible room which we reserved available because of “mechanical issues “. We finally agreed to take a similar but non handicap room and were promised 10000 Hilton honors points for being inconvenienced. Those points did not show up in my account. The room was clean, quiet , and comfortable except for the fact that the bathroom door allowed for no privacy. It was a barn door design and would not stay closed or allow you to lock it. The breakfast was good and the staff were friendly and helpful

Placed in accessible room after prepurchasing a regular king. To top it off, it was the first room, on the first floor, off the lobby. Not sure iif an Expedia or hotel failure. Perhaps both.

Fabulous stay. Everything is so good here - new clean great staff.
Single complaint - room uses layout with bathroom opening to bedroom, and a mini closet. This may bother light sleepers and those needing closet space.

Check in was great. Very friendly lady directed us to a good restaurant for dinner. Only issue was bed didn’t seem as comfortable as most Hamptons. Breakfast was great.

Couple's overnight
We were in town for the night to see a concert at Boatyard Lake Norman. Hotel was in a great location to visit several breweries - D9, Ass Clown and Eleven Lakes before heading to the concert. The bed was comfortable, the breakfast was yummy and checkout wasn't until noon so that was nice. Staff was friendly as well.

Outstanding help checking in
Fabulous young lady, Hailey, who was a great help to us. We had done the boat ride on Lake Norman. When leaving, my husband fell and hit the back of his head on the pavers. Hailey helped us to order dinner delivered and was exceedingly kind to us.

Overall disappointing
Not what I expected. The room was lacking natural light given the wall for the window was taken up by a closet that was covered by a curtain. I’ve never before seen that arrangement. They didn’t have a king room available which is what I reserved. They are short staffed in the housekeeping department. The ac unit didn’t work well and was very loud. Overall this trip was disappointing.

Good Hotel in Cornelius
Great stay at the Hampton Inn Charlotte North/Lake Norman. Super convenient location right off highway. Check-in was great. Room was large, clean, and had all the amenities you need. Shower was nice and hot. We had a room facing the parking lot so it was quiet. No noise from the highway. Breakfast options were plentiful. We ate in our rooms because omnicron cases were spiking. Overall very satisfied with our stay. Would stay again.

My son and I stayed here to go to the Renaissance Festival. Doreen and Ross(I think) at the front desk were very friendly and gave me some tips about attending the festival. The room was very clean. Good breakfast. We would definitely stay here again

I had a 5am wake up scheduled, and at around 9 pm someone was vacuuming the hallway outside my room. I was put on a ground floor room and the noise from people in the parking lot was terrible long into the night. Horrible sleep!

Very nice hotel for a short stay.
Very nice hotel with a friendly check in. The beds were a little hard for my taste and a double even though we requested Queen. I never understand the bathrooms with the sliding doors next to the bed. It is hard to not disturb the others in the room with those thin sliding doors that lets light and noise spill out. The bathroom was updated and clean though. There was some noise from the highway so request a room on the other side if you’re a light sleeper.

It was ok.
We paid for our stay online when it was booked. However, when we checked in the clerk could not see that we had paid and told me how much it would be. The price she gave me was LOWER by $23 than what we had paid. She did finally find my reservation. But I paid $23 more than I should have. The room smelled awful. It smelled like stagnate water. We have stayed in this hotel before but this was absolutely be the last time
