Old style hotel that could be a little cleaner. Our bedroom had dust on the floor and some crumbs. But the staff extremely friendly. Also convenient location

I checjrd in on Wednesday and i was asked if i wanted my room cleaned everyday and i said yes. My room was NOT cleaned on Thursday. I called the front desk to ask them to please have the room cleaned. They cleaned on Thursday. The room was NOT cleaned on friday. Very disappointing.

Plumbing issues
I touched the sink faucet knob and it fell off. Shower handle too tight and would not turn. I was finally able to turn on the water but then it would not turn off. Called front desk and maintenance person had not come in. Ended up checking out and reminded them that water was still running.

Average stay before cruising
We enjoyed our stay before going on a cruise. Some attention to cleaning hallways, rooms, and especially the the bathrooms shower area could be done. We had a room on the 4th floor and it was very quiet considering it was New Year’s Eve our first night nights stay. Breakfast was good and a nice touch was having a Starbucks at the bar in the lobby area.

Over all great hotel. We arrived at 12:30 in the morning after a very long day of flying and check in was a breeze. We even got nice cold water bottles given to us which was so appreciated. Breakfast was amazing with plenty of options and included in price of room. For a family of 5 that helps alot. Rooms were spacious and clean. Staircase could use some tidying and 1 elevator was down while we were there, causing major backup during busy times. Was usually quicker to take stairs. Pool area was gated off and fairly clean. The pool itself could have used a bit of a clean out but thats to be expected of an outdoor pool. Plus it was a chilly/windy day so no one but us were in it. But everything over all was great and would definitely stay again.

I stayed at this hotel for a week with my wife and i must say the very moment you walk in they greet you even give you water on arrival. All the staff was very helpful, respectful, pleasant and very accommodating to any requests i had. The hotel is more family oriented. My only downside was that 1 out of the 2 elevators was functional and the wait time was a big long as all the guests uses it.(you can use the stairs if you don't want to wait). Overall it was a good stay and big up to Carlos at the front desk.

The location of this property was adequate, and the staff were very friendly and helpful. The breakfast provided was also excellent. However, many of the hotel’s facilities were unusable. For example, only one elevator was working (which led to long waiting times and crowded elevators). Additionally, the pool was highly unclean and appeared unsafe to enter. Overall, the hotel was good but seemed to not have invested enough effort into their facilities that they advertised they had.

Nice location
Hyatt Place is always one of my favorite brands. It just has a good vide about it. This location is very close to MIA airport and to shopping in the Doral area. Its also walking distance from CityPlace a nice cool spot with many restaurants

Staff were helpful and kind , only con is the room had minor odor (maybe from caroet?) the buffet breakfast had a variety of options and was a nice touch. 25-30 min Uber drive from ocean drive however nice strip walking distance with food and theatre !

I was super impressed with this hotel. This place was quiet even tho near the airport, I couldn’t hear the traffic. Felt safe. Staff was phenomenal: kind and helpful. Place was very clean. Breakfast superb and plentiful even up to closing time. Most places if you show up last 10 min of breakfast time, there’s nothing left. Not this place. Everything fresh and plentiful. Would totally come back again and recommend to others

Comfortable stay in a spacious, clean room. Front desk staff were friendly and helpful. Housekeepers were great.
Liked the breakfast and the self serve laundry. Only downside was the analog TV with fuzzy screen on the national cable channels. Made watching sports hard. Parking was easy and plentiful.

Exceptional staff and customer service. All employees were pleasant and willing to assist in any way possible. Great property, wonderful amenities and great hot breakfast. The only downside was the washroom which was abit cramped and the shower did not have a pipe.
I would definitely stay again though.

We stayed three nights and from our 1st night only 1 elevator was working. by the 3rd day no elevator was working and me and my husband had to lift our bags 3 floors down. 3 large bags over 50lbs 3 floors down. Poor service!

After 3 cancelled flights the light night manager greeted me a sympathetic smile and an offer of a complimentary beer before checkin. The only act of compassion I had experienced after 12 hours of hell. Thankyou!!

The Elevator is very slow and was just one in service, the air conditioner of my room, was dirty and I have to place a towel to trap al these dirtiness plus the grill was covered with mold. The bed was too soft compared with other Hyatt Place hotel where I had been before. I always choose to stay in Hyatt Place because the comfort, cleaning, staff and beds with good lumbar support. This is the first time that something like that happens to me in your hotels.

My stay was nice. The hotel was very clean and the staff were very helpful and accommodating. The breakfast was ok, my children ate the bacon, but they did have a variety of options ( the regulars, eggs, bacon, sausage, toast, fruits and cereals).
Our only issue were the elevators, one was out of service and the hotel appeared to be full. The wait was long, especially when trying to take your luggage down at check-out. Every time the elevator got to our floor it was full, but we eventually made it.
Check out was fast and easy. I would stay there again with my family.

The propety and location are good alway stay here when I visit family. This time the elevators seemed to be worn-out, one was down and the other seems to be taking a heavy beating. My son loves breakfast only seating could use some improvement. Since there's never enough for the guests to seat and eat breakfast.
