Winter getaway on the Emerald Coast
Great location, simply wonderful staff. Weather a bit cool, noisy construction nearby, however the exceptional staff more than made up for at every possible opportunity. They have our sincere appreciation.

A haven of rest
The location is the best. Staff were always friendly and very helpful. Amenities were top notch. The view was breathtaking. It turned out to be a healing place to unwind from the stressors if life.

I stayed at Water Colors over 10 years ago had the opportunity to come down again I really enjoyed the entire atmosphere of the resort thank you for giving me and my wife some great R&R.

The Inn was a part of a larger community experience that included a state park on one side and eclectic communities which were very walkable and bike able. I would definitely recommend this property.

In a day and age where post COVId hotel stays have been sub par, understaffed, and lacking amenities offered pre-Covid, it was very refreshing to stay at Watercolor Inn where this was not the case. Watercolor Inn was fully staffed, with joyful, helpful, knowledgeable staff. From the moment we pulled into the property we encountered the most pleasant and helpful staff. All facilities were up and running. The extra treats in the room upon check in, the nightly cookies, the “treat suite,” the availability of bikes, the heated pools staffed with lifeguards keeling a watchful eye. We thoroughly enjoyed our brief stay and look forward returning very soon. We were there celebrating my daughters birthday and our experience was fantastic! Highly recommend.

We loved our room! The lobby is under construction, but the staff was so very friendly! Our room was very clean, comfy bed, nice layout. We would definitely stay here again!!! Loved Seaside and loved the hotel!!

Charming boutique!
Watercolor in is a very charming boutique hotel located in Water Color along 30A, half mile walk to Seaside center where there are a big square with restaurants and shops. We had a room on 2nd story, can walk through the hotel restaurant and use the deck for direct beach access. Hotel front desk Orco (from Turkey) and Yuka (Japan) are absolutely helpful and kind.

Amazing pools and beaches! There is a trolley service that will take you around from the resort, which I thought was great! The rooms were nice, definitely stay on the 3rd or 4th floor if you want to see the ocean-the views are beautiful. The only downside is the balconies are not private-you can see straight through the dividers to your neighbor. You have to reserve your beach setup ahead of time if you want to be in the first or second row. Great place overall though! I would recommend.

We had such a nice time and the staff was amazing. We honestly never saw cleaning staff but each time we came back it was like cleaning elves had come and left us cookies. The rooms were bigger than I expected and my family of 4 never felt too crowed Even with an 11 month old.

Beautiful resort and pool facilities. Staff was excellent, as were the cleaning staff. The only thing that could use some work for the upcoming summer season given the covid crowd is the ordering system at the pool bar and the chair issue at both pools. They need additional staff to deal with that amount of crowding at the main pool. To get a tea or food you have to wait in the same line as everyone waiting for drinks. Hire a few extra bartenders and 1-2 waitresses. Yours are overworked and struggling. Camp watercolor was outstanding! 5 out of 5 for families.

The staff at Watercolor was amazing. More than accommodating and helpful at every turn. Our stay was as perfect as it gets! The amenities Watercolor has was more than expected and made our trip so enjoyable. FOOWs food was also top notch and being right in the hotel, so convenient!

We checked in as newlyweds. Staff was very welcoming late in the evening. Had a gift for us as well. Facilities and amenities are top notch! Beautiful location with a lot to do! We will definitely be back!

The condo is nicely decorated and clean. The location is awesome, a very short walk to the beach and close by all the activities, state parks and restaurants in 30A. Communication with the owners was great. We enjoyed our stay and will book again.

This was a bucket list stay. It was not at all the luxe experience I had dreamed of. The staff is trained to a 2 star level and there is no getting to 'yes' on anything you need. The hotel is very dirty and starting to get run down like carpets and the gym. No water views unless you are on the 3rd or 4th floors. The beach is like sardines with one chair butting up to another. Nothing like sharing your neighbors loud conversation and losing a whole day of tranquility on the beach. The bathroom has a shower curtain closure instead of a door so there is NO privacy. The shower is glass all around the top so you will have everyone in your room watching while you take a shower. Not an an exceptional experience sadly. It was ok, but not amazing.

The Customer Service at this property is excellent. They go the extra mile to make sure you know everything there is do while staying in WaterColor and they give you little extras that truly make your stay more enjoyable (appetizers upon arrival, nightly cookies & cocktail, and a departure item).

WaterColor Inn is a beautiful property. The rooms are well appointed and our view of the ocean was perfect. The front desk and valet service was excellent. The service in both restaurants was very slow. The biggest disappointment was having to reserve and pay $70 for beach chairs. I understand the reasoning but when you are paying $700 a night, we thought this should be included. Overall experience was goo.

The staff in the hotel restaurant went out of their way to be rude and agnostic To customer needs Multiple tables available inside specially outside by the bar when asked, They try to explain there was a two hour so, whole time I sat outside at the bar at eight, The out on the porch went unoccupied. The location, staff, room, and dining options were all wonderful. My one critique is that when I am already paying quite a premium nightly rate, i did not enjoy being told it was an extra $45 to $80 charge depending on day and location for a beach chair and umbrella (but you got $15 off the non-guest rate). At every other luxury hotel I’ve stayed at this would be included with the room.

The hotel was amazing. The staff was immensely helpful- whether it be special requests, dinner recommendations, or where to snorkel. This is the first pull out sofa bed we have ever had at a hotel/resort that was actually comfortable. Housekeeping did a fantastic job. The food was delicious in every restaurant at the resort. The seaside area is a really great area for families. There is a great market nearby that is reasonably priced (Modica Market). We really enjoyed the bikes provided by the hotel. No need for a car to get around unless you want to travel outside of seaside area. Can't wait to stay again.

Great room. Lovely. Clean. Lovely view of the ocean over the dunes. Beautiful decor. Incredibly nice staff (especially the guys with the bikes). You should note that there are windows to the bathroom and a shower curtain instead of a door. (There is a separate door that closes the water closet). There is an issue if one person wants to use the sink or shower and other wants to sleep. You can see the lights through the door/curtain and windows. It may have just been the type of room we selected.

Week at the beach
We really love this place. It is pricey but what a wonderful experience on the beautiful Gulf of Mexico.
We dined every morning on terrace overlooking the beach. Walked the beach in late morning and swam
in the great pools on the property in afternoon. The Fish out of Water restaurant was a dining experience that we will not soon forget as well as the local eateries that we tried also. We had a
very relaxing vacation trip and I would suggest anyone trying this.
