Great place to stay
The resort is absolutely stunning! My family and I had a wonderful experience over all. Our room was extremely clean when we checked in. However, the front desk wasn’t friendly and were more welcoming to timeshare owners than guests.

Loved the security of the gated entrance and nice inn views. Front desk lady referred us to the Downing Pour House in Hollister. Cigar lounge couple doors down and the flea market were great!

I thought we were staying at the actual resort but it was kind of a strip of 10 rooms with outside door access - like a cheaper motel. The room was nice- just not what I expected. The door lock didn’t work when we came in late and had to wait on maintenance come to unlock it and change the battery in the lock- but the wait wasn’t terribly long.

Greatest weekend
The room was amazingly clean, very up to date amenities and the people very helpful and friendly. The decorations for fall was above what I would have expected.

The kitchen is not very user friendly, not good design. Closet doors didn’t work right and some of main bedroom doors wouldn’t close right.

The property was located 10 minutes from everything, that was perfect and it was nice to have the ability to cook, bring cooking utensils…. It had silverware but no cooking utensils. Few bad points on it. Our stay was located in a corner of the property where it was not well maintained. We didn’t want to sit in the screened in porch because there was nothing nice about outside the cabin…. It’s not treated like the main property. The shower, if your over 200lbs you will have difficulty…. Very small!! The bedroom did not have a dresser so we lived in our suitcase for 4 days and the bedroom carpet was NASTY! It could definitely use an upgrade on a few things, the room was our least favorite thing in Branson!

Booked our stay bc it was advertised as half off. Was able to bring 2 dogs. There was plenty of room to walk them. Property is beautiful, clean, and safe! Room was clean and comfortable. There were 3 swimming pools on site. Staff was courteous, helpful, and friendly.

Awesome place
It is a very nice place. Very friendly staff. There was alot to do for kids. The pools were great. The rooms were clean and nice. The two things not so good were, we were next to fitness center and young people were loud till 2am and it was in the 100's for the three days and our room air conditioner never got cool stayed about 80 in the room. It was hot to sleep. We called twice, once in the morning and night and no one came out. Three of our families rooms were freezing. We had a nice stay and would do it again.

Filthy and unfriendly staff
I have never stayed at a hotel so filthy and dirty. There were gobs of hair on the floor, by the microwave and all over the coffee maker. The white towel literally turned brown when cleaning water from the shower off the floor. There was hair in the tub and it was just disgusting. I originally picked this hotel over others because of the awesome looking large pool. When we got there, it was shut down for some reason. The staff was very unfriendly and I will NEVER stay at this resort again. I am appalled. It was so bad I took my son and left without staying the night. Luckily hotels.com helped and was able to refund my money when the hotel would not refund anything. I love hotels.com and this is not a reflection on them. As I look back at other reviews, I am one of many with the same type of complaints.

The property is in a great location and close to everything. However the condition of the property and our room was very dated, rundown and in very poor repair. The outside of the building we stayed in had rotten wood, nails everywhere from ac units falling out of walls. Garbage was all over and not picked up the three nights we stayed there. Some of the nails were very long and I suppose used to try to keep attaching the ac units but we’re randomly laying around. Hopefully children don’t get ahold of them.
Our room was filthy. The floors made our feet black within seconds. Bedding was damp and smelly. Bathroom was so dirty. Ice bucket was full of dust. Mini fridge was iced over. Deadbolt did not work which was concerning because the parking area at night is pitch black. The rooms are very dark as well. Just a sad scary dirty place to stay.
Pool area looked cared for but trash bins were overflowing and full of rotten trash and food.

I could not believe we stayed there 7 days & not one time did our room get cleaned! This was just crazy to me. I mean I called to ask when housekeeping was coming to clean our room & they informed me they only cleaned the rooms when we checked out & could bring us what we needed but would not be cleaning our room

Do not recommend and I should have listened to the reviews. The hotel is outdated. The tiles broken. The walls are paper thin and we could hear every conversation the people next to us were saying. We called the front desk and requested a different room and they refused. Their excuse was there was no room which was a lie. In the part of the hotel we were in building 20, there was only 3 cars outside in view of 4 buildings. I would not recommend.

Great place for families with lots of activities for kids. The rooms were nice and spacious with an electric fireplace (for ambiance only), full kitchen, spacious bathroom, and even has a washer/dryer combo. We did have a couple minor maintenance issues and although one took 2 phone calls, the other one was taken care of quite promptly. The only thing I didn't like was they charge $1 per club to play mini golf. Not a big deal since I had a few bucks in my pocket at the time, but seemed strange to be charged at all when it's advertised as part of what is offered. We would definitely go back.

Adequate Accommodations
Upon entering the property the security guard was very welcoming and friendly. He gave directions on how to check in at the main building. The staff there too was warm and friendly. Our room was in one of the outer buildings that are set up more of motel style. It was adequate, but smallish. I did appreciate that there was a microwave and minifridge with freezer. The bed was comfortable and pillows were average. We were on the back of the building so it was quiet, but I think were were the only ones on that side so that could be very different if other guests were nearby. The window had a lovely view of the woods, but it was slightly awkward leaving the shade open as anyone walking by could see right into your room. The door didn't close securely without being slammed shut and thus blew open multiple times over our stay. We slammed it when we left and checked it, and utilized the deadbolt and child lock when in the room.
They didn't do any cleaning service in our 2 nights there, no fresh towels, made bed, etc. They did however send a nice welcome text inviting us to let them know if we needed anything during our stay.
We never used the pool or any of the amenities so I can't review them.

Very dark at night. Hard to find the room when you keep having to jump out of the car and run up to the doors to see if you were correct. Bad directions from the front desk. bathroom wasn't very clean.

Really cute resort tucked in the woods. Loved having a kitchen & laundry in room. Room didn’t have pans for kitchen but staff quickly resolved. Fireplace is just for looks- does not put off heat just lights.

Staff was nice and friendly. Buildings and finishes are tired and old. Blinds were broken, carpet is buckled and in need of replacement. Old TV’s not HD nor can you cast to it. There are nicer places for the same money in the area.

We enjoyed the room, it was nice. We felt that the bed was too soft for our liking. I was disappointed that we had to pay extra for 5 days of wifi, $40.00! As a higher end resort that's not inexpensive it seems petty to me to tack on a wifi charge. Overall we were pleased. The facililty was very nice.

Our room was fine. It did have a musty smell when we arrived. There was also no shower curtain so water would sprays everywhere. The bathroom had an old shampoo lid behind the door that had not been cleaned up.
Our beds were clean and the sinks werw clean. We also enjoyed the pools and min golf course.

Great place for a family vacation so many things to do.
The staff was very friendly & the prices are so reasonable.
The pizza in at the Market place is amazing!

Was disappointed in how small the room was, my bedroom at home was bigger than the room here and bathroom included. There was no where to hang any clothes. Only ONE set of towels in the room. There was trash with sketchy looking items in a clear plastic bag right outside our door. There is NO type of breakfast offered at what claims to be a upscale hotel/resort. If you want people to invest in travel plans or tome shares up grade the amenities here and it will make a huge difference. Even the suckiest hotels offer at minimum a continental breakfast. I would have paid for food if they just had a cook there to offer it.

First time staying at a Westgate and probably won’t again. The staff wasn’t helpful at all and the rooms in the cabin area were outdated. The AC unit kept malfunctioning and being July-it was hot. As soon as you get your room keys, they send you to another desk to get your parking pass and that desk is the Timeshare part. Those employees pressure you into joining their breakfast to learn about the timeshare and rude when you say you’d rather not. That’s only a couple of our negative encounters.

We stayed in the 2 bed 2 bath unit. Over all the unit seemed to be renovated looks great. Down fall all the interior doors get stuck they are out of level. Besides this our stay was amazing we will be staying at other Westgate properties as always. I will add the outdoor trails and amenities are professionally maintained. The staffs dedication to there jobs stand out at this property.

This place is nice....if you have kids. Too hot, nothing really to do except pool which was extremely overpacked with kids and did not look sanitary. If you want a romantic getaway, look elsewhere. Room was smaller than most hotel rooms, dirty floor, bed comfy though. Not much to do at resort when it's 100 degrees outside. Market store, buy your wine before you go, they don't have any selection.

Pool was beautiful, room was good except exterior carpet on Inn 2 was very dirty and old. Other than that, it was clean and well kept. Mini golf was lacking to say the least. The marketplace was never opened when we tried to go. Went at 8am and it wasn’t open, went at 7pm and it wasn’t open. It didn’t even have operating hours posted! We wanted pizza for dinner…nope! We wanted coffee…nope!

We booked a King Room. The room was SMALL. It did not have a closet. The bathroom was miniscule. There were minimal electrical outlets. Room amenities were sparse. There was no clock, unless you count the one on the microwave. The ac unit was too large for the room, the unit ran continuously, making the room humid. There was no therrmostat in the room. The decor was dated and cheap, like from several decades ago. The chairs were uncomfortable. The internet was a joke. The room was loud.
The bed was comfortable.

Great room, terrible sales experience
The grounds and check in staff were great. However, sales supervisor Austin was very rude when we declined buying a time share for personal reasons. He said “Fine, just sit around and wait to die then, your choice.” He was very rude and we didn’t appreciate that behavior.

I liked the fact that the property was protected from anyone that wasn’t a guest from loitering around, it had an attendee at front gate where you had to show that you were a guest before entering. The property was under construction with main hotel so we stayed in cabin like rooms. We had to ask for new towels each day and the area where the ice machine and drink machine was not very clean or brightly lit and there were NO drinks in the machines the entire length of our stay. The main reason I would NEVER stay here again is that you have to PAY for internet. It was costly too and this might have been my fault in not noticing that when booking. The only way you get free internet is if you ate a property owner of one of the cabins.

Westgate thumbs up
Westgate is always a pleasant experience. This was the first time of staying in a regular room, we usually stay in a villa. The only complaint was the shower was a time to the floor shower. The shower curtain wasn’t quite long enough and a rubber weather guard was the only thing to stop the water from running out…. It failed. We had to put a lot of towels down to stop a bathroom flooding. We will return but we will probably go back to stating in the villas or cabins.

Not so good, wanted $10 per day for wi-fi and $50 deposit at check-in. Unfriendly employees at check-in, asking personal questions, my age and the age of my family members, wanted 2 hours of my time to sell time shares. Check out was worse than check in unfriendly. Hotel was noisy during the night could hear all sounds in parking lot. Cleaning people outside door talking loudly at 8:00 a.m.

Not as great as I had hoped.
The property is beautiful, but the layout of the King standard room was very cramped where it counted. There was only enough room for one person to pass between the bed and desk in the front of the room. There were only two small lamps and neither put out much light. The room was not sound proof at all. We could hear every word that was said in the room beside us. The bathroom floor was very dirty. The bed was comfortable. Overall our experience was a bit disappointing.

For peace and quiet, this is not the place-
If you’re looking for a quiet place to stay, this is not it, unless you rent the cabins. The hotel/motel walls are paper thin and you can hear normal conversation through the walls, as well as the TV that was left on all night. Don’t expect to sleep in, housekeeping gets there bright and early, slamming doors, speaking loudly. Front desk was no help. I have never made a review before, but felt thus was worth it. We were supposed to check out the 12th, but after we were told nobody else would be beside us, a family with small baby checked in…. We packed our bags and left a day early.

They charge for wifi in an area with spotty cell service. The floors were filthy. Our feet turned black when we walked on them. Someone came by to use a shark steam mop which barely helped. If the floors are that disgusting, what else do they not clean? Also something very simple, but there were no stir straws in the coffee packets. Just a tiny thing. But if you did decide to chance the coffee maker (which I washed myself because who knows if it was ever cleaned) how do you stir the creamer and sweetener into the coffee?

The property is beautiful! Absolutely love the fact of having security guards checking as you enter the grounds and security gates.
The walls were extremely thin and we could hear absolutely everything that was going on in our neighbors room, down to the snoring at 4:00 am..

When I got to my room it was smelling like mold. My socks were black from the dirty floor, I wiped the floor the towel was black from the dirt. The toilet was not connected to the floor, you coal fall over when you sat on it. This was the worst expierence that I have had in my travels.
The front desk Manager said she could do nothing to help me in making my stay more enjoyable.
She was rude to me as well as telling me that they spray the black dirt on the floor so people do not slip and fall B.S.
I have booked many stays through EXPEDIA at various resorts across the globe with nothing I have experienced in BRANSON Missouri.

Much better resorts out there.
Not so clean for a paid stay. Remnants of the last guests still present. Walls were deep dirt stained. Bed was clean and comfortable, as was the tub. Worst thing was that I use hotels.com assuming it eliminates a lot of nonsense, but we got the time share offer subtly a couple of times. I still don’t want to have to tell them no. Had to pay a dollar for miniature golf, not expensive, but could have been easily comped for a resort. Location is convenient. Gate guards are very friendly. I’d probably look for someplace different next time.

The cabin we were given was not the one I booked through Expedia! We booked a 1 bedroom 2 bath villa . We were given a 1 bedroom 1 bath . Bedroom was on second floor. No bathroom on first floor. Very inconvient! I was very disappointed with our room!!

Gated entrance, nice pool, sandy area to play volleyball. Has a little store for groceries, etc. Fast check in. There is no complimentary breakfast, rooms are not very big. Dust throughout the room flared up my allergies. We woke up to fire alarms in the middle of the night, had to wait outside for the fire department to clear us to go back to the room and the hotel didn't compensate anyone for the inconvenience.

Lengthy check in- tons of questions not-realting to our stay, + sales pitch. This is a timeshare. The Villa was clean inside, bed comfy, well equipped, but dated- 80's-90's decor. Railing on 4th floor balcony was weak! Wondered why the rating was a 7- confirmed you can hear your neighbors TV and chats through very thin walls. Now we know. Exterior does not feel resort-like: cigarette butts, dead leaves and debris, spider webs, extremely worn exterior guest suite doors on building we stayed in. Elevator dirty and reeked so bad we held our breath then took stairs remainder of our stay. Glass entry doors in common areas smudged and dirty. Jets non-functioning on the hot tub. Mini gold clubs and ball very inconvenient to mini golf course. Staff seems stressed, probabaly due to not having enough emplyees understanable, but folks go on vacay for a short escape of thier own stresses. Not worth 200+ a night, would stay elsewhere next time.
