It was just far enough away from downtown to be convenient to everything. Would definitely stay again for sure.
Lots to see and do here even if you don’t gamble; room was huge.
I really like South Point, casino is too smoky for a non smoker.
not worth money
Other things beside gambling on property.
The room was half ass cleaned with dust and crumbs on the floor hair was on the floor in the restroom and the tub also the tub was draining slowly even some of the towels had hair in them. I was very disappointed in the cleanliness of the room and at South Point out of all the times I have stayed there, I never once had a dirty room—just a half-ass job.
Cleanliness, ease of parking, food options.
We often enjoy staying here on our way thru Las Vegas. Convenient access from the freeway with ample parking for a big truck, quick check-in, plenty of restaurants on site (including a busy Starbucks). They have a fun gift shop and a big gaming floor with lots to choose from. Definitely would stay here again.
There was either no fan in the bathroom or it was broken, but there was moldy grout - which was unfortunate. It's just not possible for housekeeping to keep that at bay when one shower has the bathroom surfaces fully drenched.
Besides that, it's a nothing- fancy property that totally serves its purpose. Had brief interactions with several kind staff members, so can't fault them there.
Parking was really easy - and free!
Love the South Point
Always enjoy my stay at the South Point. Great room, clean and very comfortable. So many choices for food and gaming. Very nice pool area. One of the best values in Las Vegas.
Smoking room needs make over
We booked online and when we arrived the only rooms left were smoking rooms. I did not know that smoking rooms were still an option, it was not a great option for me. Rooms are tired and in need of a refresh.
We have stayed at South Point many times. It never disappoints. This time we had reserved 3 rooms. The staff is always courteous and helpful. The rooms are spacious and clean. The bed was so comfortable. I rested well. So many restaurants with delicious food, desserts, and drinks. We will definitely continue to stay at South Point.
Poor food prep conditions in the buffet resulted in an extremely bad case of food poisoning for myself. Ruined my vacation!!!!
So busy during Friday at Buffet Garden…couldn’t get a meal.
Great restaurant - primarily prime rib. there’s a Starbucks in the casino.
South point hotel is one of my favorite hotel when I go to Las Vegas it has everything you need restaurants movie theater and other things to do. Has great customer service and friendly atmosphere.
Really nice property with a lot of parking
Very nice, we arent gamblers but the rooms are great and the restaurants in the building are very good.
We really enjoyed our stay. We felt right at home
Me and my wife have like to stay here due to the fact we can just come in and not have to leave for a week. You have the nice pool to hang out at, the casino is always good, there are many great dining options and we also like the events they have in the arena as well as the bowling center. It just a nice place to relax and enjoy.
Overall I loved the property. I personally got pneumonia at the hotel. So I am not so happy with my stay. One morning we did encounter a elevator that reeked of something foul....I understand there are horses and cattle onsite...which im from missouri..I have smelled almost everything 😉 so I completely get it. But it had to be something else for sure. Other than that all the staff and security we encountered were awesome 👌 so would recommend.
A very nice hotel.
We really liked South Point Hotel and Casino. It is huge and we enjoyed the horse arena, theatre, decor', and free parking.
We did not like the fact that the casino area was way too smoky. We didn't eat at any of the restaurants because of the smoke.
The staff were very friendly and accommodating. The check in was very fast. This is our second time staying here and will definitely be back .
Stayed overnight with my family. Very clean and nice hotel. Staff were friendly and professional. Huge difference from staying on the strip at the Horseshoe. Plenty of things that are family friendly. Food was delicious. Gift shop was normal prices wnd not inflated like the strip hotels. $5 tables and a wide variety of slots. Pool area was relaxing...music was not so loud.
Thumbs up, m'guy!
Great poker room, great staff, great hotel room.
We had a great time at the hotel! The room was large, and beds were comfy. Bathroom was clean and spacious. There could have been better filtration in the casino to help with the smoke smell, but overall it was great and I would stay again.
Super Smokey everywhere in the hotel.
Room ac barely worked. Pealing paint in room.
We had blood stain on the bed spread that we had to ask to have changed.
We enjoyed our stay at the south point. The seafood buffet was very good!
It was a great experience my first time in Vegas. Had a blast
From front desk check in to restaurant and bar service .. EXCEPTIONAL!!
Rooms are comfortable and quiet. Well equipped with all the things we needed for an overnight stay including full size blow dryer abs luxurious towels.
This is my former go to nonvcasino hotel. I can’t wait to fly in this Monday for the opening of the new Choop House restaurant! ❤️❤️❤️ I can’t find the paper I wrote the names on but I will update with front desk staff names soon. Our bartender was Conner.
The casino has everything. I love they have many 24hr restrraunts open. It let's you stay there at the hotel and not have to call uber eats or drive around looking for somewhere to eat. The rooms are great and the rooms very clean.
Shuttle service was great. Good choice of restaurants and reasonable prices.
Vacation Spot to be
I love this hotel its has everything you need I being staying here every year for years. I enjoy the atmosphere and the relaxing and all the restaurants theater and being an older person I have everything right here.
Hotel and casino was clean. Helpful, friendly employees.
Away from strip
I love this place! Very affordable, very alive and everything is so convenient!!! Pool is close to the hotel elevators also next to the gym. The prices are not hiked up like most hotels. Clean bowling alley that we take advantage of every time we stay here, arcade and a movie theater. I think they have 11 different restaurants and one of the best steak houses in Vegas. Parking is free, valet is very fast and helpful and the resort fee is only 25 dollars per day vs 75 on the strip. Also it’s right off the free way so you don’t have to deal with traffic.
Good variety of restaurants. Bright lighting in casino, good ventilation. Rooms are great.
Had a great time
Very fun place to stay. Great room lost of entertainment and food options.
South Point is easy... vallet is easy, check in is easy, finding your way around is easy. Rooms are clean. Excellent food and service at Zenshin.
Bill N Jenn
Nice quite and clean housekeeping
The way we were treated when picking our suite. My wife was disappointed and I had to request another suite. To many kids in the pool.
Super easy to get in & to your room. Fast check in.
We loved the tv viewing of the arena. Would like more cable channel options
Great place off strip
Omg from check in to check out it was perfect. The property was massive so much to see and do and not just adults but lots for kids. There is a equestrian arena kids can go early and see the horse's. Then there is a movie theater and arcade for kids and massive bowling ally. The rooms were huge very clean and had the most comfortable beds ever . The garden buffett so good get a players card pay 13.00 for breakfast without card 17.00. This property has lots of stores and restaurant near by dennys McDonald's and sushi house. It is 20 min from the strip yet so beautiful and convenient. Definitely stay there again
Rooms are extremely clean and comfortable!!
Great Hotel& casino
Stay was great. we stop at the Garden Buffet every time we visit Vegas. Our stay was very pleasant, we hope to visit the pool site next time we visit. Pillows are very comfy. Great stay.
Amazing as always. Great choices for food, relaxation and family fun of all ages.
All of it. Bowling and theater for kids
Everything is impressive. But the food is not good.
The lines for the elevator would get pretty bad at times
It’s a great place to stay, the Hotel
Is not pet friendly but we heard dogs barking
Booked a Premium View King. Spacious room. Unfortunately, it wasn't “Premium” accommodation. Not as expected in the sense that your Keurig coffee maker wasn't working and NO shower towels, except face towels, no conditioner and other toiletries were provided in the room.
The Spazmatics in the Showroom were awesome!! 80's music and they were great!!
Hotel that I consider to be an all in one facility. It offers everything in site. Literally you don't need to leave the hotel for anything. Room was nice. Water pressure was amazing especially after walking around so much lol.
I stay at this hotel 5-6 times a year. Very reasonable and I love their beds.
It was crazy busy during our stay. The wait for a table at the cafe was about 30 minutes. But our waiter was very nice, dispute how busy he was. Every employee we encountered was nice. Will continue to stay here.
Enjoyed one night stay here.
We have stayed here many times. We enjoy that’s it away from the strip and we are in our own world with all the amenities we need.
Love the texting housekeeping service
Quick check in. No ironing board in the room but was quickly figured out through the housecleaning texting service
It was okay, we only stayed one night.
Water pressure and temp was hit or miss. Drainage in bathtub was horrible. Toilet and floors were not clean on arrival. No slippers in room upon arrival.
This hotel is for older crowd and families that doesn’t want to have the craziness of young 20’s guest around. The hotel is clean, has a theater, bowling alley, nice big but cold pool and a hot hot jacuzzi. Has plenty of restaurants which is great but it is also surrounded by other restaurants. I recommend this hotel.
Friendly positive staff
Clean and safe area
We were a late arrival with an early morning flight departure. So, our requirements were, Safety, Clean, Quiet, superior bed and early coffee with a easy freeway off & on. S.P. provided that plus a bonus spacious room and on-site Starbucks coffee. As a result, S.P. got some exposure in Hilton Head, our destination, with their "complimentary" slippers!! We're calling it a Win-Win!! Cheers!!
Clean, lots of amenities
Restaurants were great.
We really didn’t like the attitude the front desk gave us when we requested a room with a view. Our room smelled like smoke, even though it was a smoke free room. We requested to be moved to another side and floor but they said they only had one room available on the other side. That room had plumbing issues. None of the coupons were good for me to use. No drinks were offered when gambling and we stayed for a few nights. Love the hotel itself due to the ent.
Very clean enjoyed the poker room
Room was updated lots of food choices
Our stay was perfect! The hotel room was beautiful and it had a lot of room! We will definitely be back!
Nothing negative to say… had a pleasant time
Staff was very responsive. I liked the dining options and activities for the family.
Amazing place. Definitely will be coming back
Todo muy buen servicio
Rooms are big, clean and updated. Plenty of restaurants to choose from.
Nice off the strip casino.
Great all in one.
South Point offers a good variety of activities, restaurants, good shows, clean restrooms, friendly staff and free parking. I would recommend this location for families and couples who want to enjoy Vegas without the crowded streets and vagrants.
I like that the casino feels like a locals casino. Staff is very friendly and smile all the time.
Loved the food options and flexible prices!
Spacious and lots to do
My family loves this Hotel! We love that you don’t even have to leave the hotel to have fun! The pool area is amazing! Can get your nails done at the salon. Take the kids to the arcade, go to the movies, or go bowling. Get shakes from Steak N Shake, the best bagels from the Del Mar Deli, great banana splits at Kate’s Korner, great Mexican food at Baja Miguel’s, and fabulous breakfast at Coranado Cafe! The rooms are clean, spacious, and beds are comfortable. We just love this place.
I liked that it was located right off of the freeway
Nice except for the view which we didn’t like at all!!!! Room 835 faces the east which means we had a view of roof!
The receptionist was rude
Didn’t tell us why she charge me 100$ extra after booking
Didn’t tell us where to go, the bed sheets were dirty
My wife stayed 6 nights in a room with a view of a block wall 6' away.
