This is a very nice hotel, the room was clean and nice.
The problem we had was our room was dark, we had a large beautiful window but there was another build right out side so no sun light.
The lighting in the room was dim and the same in the bathroom.
Women prefer brighter lighting for dressing and make up.
But again
Overall it is a wonderful hotel but I probably will not stay again with the risk of getting a building outside my window.

Decent property, clean sheets and towels but curtains and lamp shades smell and need to be cleaned. I like how there is no smoking on the rooms and if you do you’ll be fined $200. Rooms do not smell like smoke which is very nice in Las Vegas.

We had an early flight so we booked South Point for one night because of location to the LV airport. The rooms were spacious, clean and away from casino. The restaurant options were great and we had a fun afternoon in the casino.

Room 721 was dirty, tub was clogged and the view is a parking structure , the water coming out of the tub was contaminated and this is the second time I have been booked in that room w same is, very disappointed, was considering not to come to this hotel anymore, but I do enjoy spa area and convenience of the commute

All around everything. Service except for a bartender, kinda rude when asked for a drink, he walked away while I ask for drink, so I saw another bartender and he was courteous.

I've stayed here many times and have never had a bad experience. This time we had an injured member of our party so needed a room close to elevators, bell service, room service, and a wheelchair that I've never used or needed before. The staff were able to meet all of our needs.

I always like staying here for business and pleasure. Restaurants are great and the poker room is excellent and the waitresses are very freindly. I really love my massage from Teresa in the poker room. She does an excellent job.

I stayed for two nights during week this hotel, expecting that considering 130 dollars a night in total including resort fee, I will be just ok for sleep and spend most of my time in strip watching shows and eating breakfast buffet at more luxurious hotels. My plan was right and slept for two nights at this hotel without any activities there. It was just what you get what you paid for. Just small problem was hair dryer broken. Otherwise it was just moderate, but can't understand why customer rating is pretty good for this premise.

This was our first time at South Point and we loved it! It was a unique casino with a large bowling alley, movie theaters and a horse arena. There were many good dinning options and bars available. The rooms were clean and very spacious, we also liked that the casino was not directly on the very busy Vegas Strip! It would have been a little better if there was more than one gift shop/general store available and if there were shuttles to the Sands convention center a few times daily where we were going for a show. The SPA was one of the best Ive attended, not very friendly receptionists, but a great message, shower and soaking tubs. We are definitely coming back.

Very nice hotel ,lots of walking as it is extremely large .great staff ,all very helpful.
Thermostat in room Fe fused to move from 73f ,so it was very hot in the room at night . Wifi disappeared a few times.
Comfy bed ,nice choice of pillow heights .
All in all a nice stay.

Have stayed at South Point many times. Quiet and free parking! Plenty to do on site. One note- pay the money for the buffet it comes out about the same as doing the coffee shop breakfast!

I was very disappointed with the view which was looking at a wall of windows, a blank wall and an alley. The room itself was very nice and big. And quiet which is important at night.

Nice place but it is hard to travel walking or by bus and I couldn't get a shuttle bus unless I signed up for it four days earlier to return to the airport. But still got charged 27.00$ a day resort fee for all the things I didn't use

A nice place away from the resort "crush"
I first stayed at South Point in 2003, while it was still under construction. I really do like the place. I ate at three of the in-house restaurants and it was all good. I was thee during the Mecum motorcycle auction — I wasn't a part of it — and the parking on the ENORMOUS parking lots were a little challenging for an old guy on a cane. The ONLY thing I wish was that the chambermaids would do hospital corners on the beds.Tucking in the top sheet and blanket the full length of the bed means when you pull back the top sheet, the bottom sheet pulls entirely out. Not fun to have to remake the bed as an old dude. And by tje way, my name is FRANK

they were doing renovations at a time and had capacity or more crowds. Hotel is ok for a Vegas hotel, rooms are nice but dated. Crowds were unreal. Hard to get to elevators, machines being replaced or moved along with carpeting. More of a senior crowd as well - 70+. Prob won't stay there again.

pool and jacuzzi area was closed, television had very limited channel selection, we were charged an additional $20. to access our room at 2:00 pm instead of 3:00 pm.

At a time when it seems that every single hotel on the strip is finding a new up charge to wring out of your wallet South Point is an oasis of value. No parking fees and half the resort fee charged by others as well as a very very nice and welcoming facility means we are saying good bye to New York New York after 10 years of staying there.

Quick business trip, clean, beautiful rooms, comfy beds, so many choices of restaurants and things to do at this hotel. I think my favorite part was the valet. They don’t charge and for how many times I had to come and go for business, it was so helpful! Valet guys were awesome.

Always my top choice of hotel Clean rooms with extra space.. Ate splendidly. at 4 restaurants not including the hot dog stand which I ate twice. Buffet was good as ever. Chinese food great at main restaurant.which i enjoyed many a late-night feast at discount prices. Poker room with many tournaments Well inhabited and always clean, Man i'm getting the urge to go back again !!!!

Don’t play the casino floor. Had to book last min after my flight delay lead to my reservation being cancelled. Room was nice and clean and quiet. Place was packed on a Tuesday night but my room was comfortable.

Poor customer service, issue was not resolved, poor air quality, noisy and while playing games you can overhear salsemen walking thru with groups trying to sell timeshares. Plenty of reasons not to go back!

Everything here was great! People, service, rooms. The only thing i had a problem with is that the shower head spray was to gar apart to shower my 7 year old. It was hard to get the soap out of her hair.

The rooms are so nice and roomy. Comfy beds. Conveniently located and parking is easy, other than larger vehicles towing need to park in a different area, so ask ahead of time! Loved having Starbucks in the lobby. Great food options. Will stay here again.

Everything excellent. Love the food options except the mexican which is not that good....all the other restaurants are wonderful....The only negative was when we tried to get the free drink coupon at the bar, and the person was rude. The staff at the bars need to be trained to be nice when people use the coupons. I hope Michael the owner becomes aware of this.

It was great, but a sign marking the conceirge that is there all day and night would be appreciated. We didnt know where to go when we first walked in. The front desk isnt visible from the front door.

Best Hotel near the strip!
Great Hotel to stay at. Not far from the strip so a short Uber drive won’t cost much. Everything you need is right there. Gift shop, bowling alley, movie theater and so much more. Didn’t interact with hotel staff too much because we had everything we needed. Ate breakfast and sometimes dinner at one of the many restaurants they had in the hotel. The cost of a room per night fluctuates depending on what’s going on. Our room was not expensive at all. It was clean and comfortable. I’ll definitely be staying there again when I return.

I got a half deli sandwich with fries, and the buffet would have been cheaper. Dont like the small ketchup packages. Get some pump jugs for some major condiments. Not going back to the Deli.
Black Jack deck penetration is horrible, 2 decks out of 6. I went to play at Sunset Station where penetration is less than 1/2 of a deck, you can surrender, much much better blackjack rules.
wifi in room 2365 is marginal - a lot of buffering on video and slow loading on the internet searches.
Oh, I went to the bar for water. I wanted a bottle so I won't spill it on the blackjack table. They charged me $3 for a small bottle of water. That is a rip off. In Colorado, the casinos just set out cases of water bottles on the bar to take at will.
Toilets in the room have really good, heavy flush water, nice.
#1 problem, the poor penetration in the blackjack shoe. Go to Sunset Station to get a good shoe penetration.

Great experience! If you have no interest in staying on the strip but want a great Vegas experience with all the same amenities and bigger rooms I highly recommend staying here. We had our toddler with us and there was plenty to do for all of us. This is our go to Vegas hotel from now on.

I am a semi truck driver i love that they had parking for a big rig. What i did not like is that the bedding smelled old. The bathroom while clean was how do i put it. The grout in tile was gross and the soap area in the shower was black. So they really need a deep clean.
