I really enjoyed my first time staying at South Point Hotel and Casino. Very clean and enjoyable atmosphere. Rooms were larger than expected and reasonably priced. Plenty of restaurants to choose from. Gaming area was large and exciting.
The only issue for me, due to my limited walking ability was the walking distance from the parking garage elevator to my room elevator. I found the walk thru the Casino a bit long, especially when handling luggage and other things. I will definitely return again.

Nice room, bed, bathroom needs refurbish too.
Everything was really nice, bed, room, amenities,
quiet, check-in, the shower head needed cleaned(crazy spray)
and some tiles and grout discolored. Good refurbish of room, except for the tub/shower.

We really like the efficiency of the air and high ceilings so the cigarette smell was light. We also liked that the hotel rooms are far away from the casino. We did not like how watered down the mixed drinks were. I know they are free but we gambled so so much. Come on!!

The rooms are spacious and clean compared to many rooms on the strip. South point has many restaurants and things to do. It’s a great place to stay if traveling with family as well. There’s a bowling alley a movie theater. Music concert, and the casino has many cool slot machines. All in all Southpointe is a great place to stay.

loved my two day stay was able to bowl swim and watch a movie the fact there is other things to do besides gambling which i also did puts this property a length up on others plus the fact you do not have deal with downtown unless oh yeah and plenty of free parking rooms where spacious everything in working order

It's easy to highly recommend South Point!
Huge all-in-one family facility.
Located just outside the strip, with great access to everywhere and everything.
Very large pool area, well maintained bowling facility, arcade, and multi-screen movie theater.
For such a large and busy facility everything was clean and very well maintained.
Be sure to have dinner at the Steakhouse!
Good attitudes experienced throughout the facility.

I love the hotel my only issue that when I was checking out there was myself and at least 5 other people and 3 clerk stations open there wasn’t any urgency to help us that was standing in line otherwise I told my husband that will be our new go to hotel when we visit Vegas

South Pointe is so far removed from the Strip or downtown casinos that unless you’re willing to drive back and forth or take outrageously priced Ubers or cabs you probably won’t enjoy much of your Las Vegas vacation. Yes, its rates appear cheaper but after paying outrageous fees for anything there you’re better off staying at a cheap motel much closer to the strip. If you do stay at the South Pointe, stay away from the breakfast buffet.

Property was great! Movie theater and bowling on site.
What I didnt like was when I checked in a little after 1 pm desk agent said check in was after 2pm my room was not ready. I could wait or pay $20. to check in early and my room would be ready. I paid the $20. but I think that was taking advantage of me.

Starbucks before you leave is really nice. The smoking is one of the most i experienced since i started staying here. This the second time in a row that ive got to me room and the number they gave me at the front desk was wrong. Had to take my child all the way back to get the right room number again.

Didnt like that the return to player rate for slots was terrible... to spend almoat 2000 ans win NOTHING is ridiculous honestly. But the room was nice, the facilities were nice and the ataff were helpful and friendly .

please remember to clean the Kerig coffee pots
Our stay was great, we have stayed here before. My only complaint is that the kerig coffee pot was not clean and would not even brew a 1/2 cup which ended up costing me $5-10 per day to go downstairs for coffee.

We enjoyed the Southpoint. The property is nice looking and the staff is friendly. We particularly enjoyed Jason, our Ultimate Texas Hold ‘Em dealer, Natalie, the pit supervisor, Don, our Face Up Pai Gow dealer, our servers at Steak N Shake and the Garden Buffet for breakfast, and the lady who tidied up our room.
Steak N Shake tasted like any other location, so not much to say there, but the Garden buffet was great for breakfast. There were two chefs making made-to-order eggs and omelets, a yogurt bar, oatmeal, waffles, pancakes, several types of sausage, ham and sausage at a carving station, healthy choices, cereals, fresh fruit, sliced meat and cheese, poco loco choices and Hispanic food (e.g. burrito fixing’s, choirizo chimichangas).
We did not dine at Silverado steakhouse but our friends and would not recommend it. The service was better than the food, and the baked potatoes were cold.

Business and pleasure trip
My room was clean and comfortable. Love the oyster bar great food. Love the poker room and table games. What i like the most is the free parking. This is the hotel I would always go to play poker and black jack. This was the first time I stayed here and I would definitely come back again next week for business.

I love the restaurants inside the hotel. It makes it easier to stay here and relax. The rooms are immaculate. They do an outstanding job on cleanliness in the rooms, beds, sheets and I love that there is no carpet. They give you complimentary soft slippers for your feet as well.

The staff at check-in were above and beyond helpful. We had other family that were checking in and they were able to put us near each other. Which was very nice. Please reward them in some way. Like a large raise in pay. I do not know the person at check out but she was awesome.

Absolutely amazing! Quick over night to visit the in-laws… my Mom in law is obsessed with the buffet, so we decided to make it easy and try the hotel out. We were pleasantly surprised! The rooms were huge, and the customer service was the best! We’ll def stay here again! We loved the bowling alley and arcade with the kiddos!

It was 80 bucks a night so take this with a grain of salt. Not particularly nice in any way but definitely OK. A little beat up and the casino smelled like an ashtray mixed with cheap whiskey but the rooms were pretty clean.

Way to smokey. Pool closes early so nothing to do after a day of gabmbling. Not even an evening in the hot tub. Room is big, outdated. Tiny refrigerator that didn't cool. Place is geared towards families. So lots of strollers everywhere. Plus side there is bowling and movies BUT lots of kids. I need a vacation after this. No thanks. But if you have kids go for it.

Clean/fast, no options for fast business trips
Very easy check in, clean rooms, quiet room, don’t like the 27.00 resort fee and there is no option of declining it even if you don’t use the pool, gym or internet. Wi-fi signal was week in my room.

Room is big and clean. Front desk is not very friendly. The food in Coronado cafe is mediocre. Long walk from the parking lot to the hotel room, needs to walk through the casino. Pool closes at 8 pm, which is too early.

A favorite in south Vegas.
Clean, comfortable room. Great $4 early bird breakfast before 6 am. $4 movies for over 50 years old 3 days a week on site with club card. Amazing pastries/cakes at deli. Parking tower is large, note where you park. No other businesses within walking distance. Large onsite equestrian facility, can drop in and watch activities.
