Big bucks for not a lot
Paid parking garage is horrible, paid in advance for 2 queens, they gave it away. Got a king and a pullout couch, at bedtime realized there were no sheets,blankets or pillows for the pullout. The worst part was paying nearly $600 for 2 nights in an old beat up hotel. Staff was very nice and room was clean enough.

I was very impressed for the price and the facility. Friendly staff. I love this hotel I will book this place always. Starbucks the fireworks food everything is close by and it’s quiet. You can’t go wrong with this place at all.

Perfect!
Was perfect for my short stay! Would definitely stay here again and highly recommend! Minus the compact shower and short shower curtain that allows water to get all over the floor.

This is an affordable hotel that has all the amenities you need including super comfy beds. It was easy walking to all things Waikiki including the beach, restaurants, shopping centre and pick ups for tours was super easy too. The coffee machine in the lobby was free and made great coffee and they also had a filtered water machine which was also free. This hotel was so much more affordable to others I looked at and I really couldn’t pick anything that I didn’t like.

Clean, safe and Renovated.
The Hotel was clean and comfortable. We enjoyed our 2 days stay, 6th floor and facing Diamond head and partial beach views. It was in the middle strip at Ala Moana so close to the mall and Waikiki strip. Parking is averaged price and safe. Overall we liked our stay. We might go again if we come back.

I loved that the staff was very hospitable and there was a venting machine on the floor i was on which js very convenient when you need water and stores around are closed. The room was always clean every other day.

Perfect location! Reasonable price.
A block from most of the action on the beach. Across the street from Fridays regular firework display. Bus stops very conveniently located. Restaurants all over, Starbucks across the street at the crosswalk. Older place but get a king and backside if you want quiet. Top floors are best. Laundry on site, small pool, Tour kiosk in lobby. IHOP beside it but no workers so avoid the lineup! Get a bus pass at ABC . All day 9$. Each trip normally 3$. Taxi to Airport is 50$.

Overall hotel and room is what I’d expect in this type of resort. The parking garage sucks, and they charge you $20 a day just to park in a tiny, badly designed garage.

Good value for the location.
Great location for the value. Spacious room, comfortable bed. Nice view. It is on the main drag so you should expect traffic noise. Also, the air conditioner is quite loud. We ended up turning it off. They do offer an oscillating floor fan. That was a very nice amenity. Overall we recommend.

This hotel was the worst hotel I’ve been in my entire life. First we asked for 2 beds beforehand but when we got there they gave us only 1 bed and said there was no available rooms with 2 beds for that night,They were so rude to us and didn’t care at all that we weren’t happy with the situation.Then when we checked out a few hours later they called saying we forgot our passports inside the safe but they didn’t even mention the jewelry I also left I had to mention it, when we got to the hotel we grabbed the passports and the jewelry and left, after I got home from the trip I realized the 450 dollars I had left inside of the passports were missing I called them and they didn’t said I had to call the next day,the day after I called again and the manager said I had to fill out a form she sent me it on email I filled it out sent it back and waited, I still don’t have any answers weeks have passed by and every time I call I goes to voicemail. I don’t recommend anyone staying here.

Aqua Palms Waikiki is located in Waikiki, great for Waikiki shoppers. Front desk receptionist were cheery and helpful. Rooms were okay and a bit cozy. It was organized however our room smelled a bit like residual smoke even with it being cleaned. The sliding door security lock needs to be fixed and the curtains need a little more care. Lastly, although it is situated 8n a great location, Aqua Palms hotel was extremely confusing to find, even with help of Google maps. There is no great visible Hotel name signage.

Gets the job done
Fine if you need a quick, short stay, cheap place but there were a bunch of remaining question marks on the room and hotel. Halls weren't super clean, shower was not comfortable for a bit guy like me, the ironing board broke, the couch smelled... And facing the street was actually very noisy given the thinness of the sliding doors.... not horrible but just can't recommend.

Our shower head made so much noise that was so loud you can hear it even when the door is closed. Thats how loud it was making a squealing noise from the shower head, everyone can hear it even outside the room, and the shampoo and conditioner was on the wrong side in the shower, We kept hitting it while showering, it was annoying and irritating.

the Agua Palms is a reasonably priced hotel at the transition area between Waikiki and Ala Moana. I liked the ability to walk in either direction in just 10 minutes.

The building is quite old and the hallways especially are due for renovation. We booked via Expedia for a queen or king sized bed with a mountain view but we were placed in a city view room with a small double bed. After reporting to the concierge, Christian he mentioned the hotel was fully booked. He told us that expedia actually sent them my booking with a city view description. I messaged expedia customer service and he couldn't do much for me except speak to the hotel which I already was doing. Still waiting to see what expedia will do to compensate for their mistake.
The actual hotel room is okay. The bathroom is cramped and in need of renovating.

Best value and great location- seriously what more do you need? We stayed in 1104 and the view of the beach was unexpected. Yes the bathroom is small but how much time do you spend in there? It was clean, aircon worked and everything in the room was in good condition and the bed was a king with plenty of room to move. Staff were accommodating and parking was easier and cheaper than most hotels. Wish we had found this place earlier in our trip!

Very nice place to stay. Everyone is friendly and accommodating. Our room was very nice and clean, the balcony had a decent view of the ocean. Short walk to the ocean and everything around the area. Would easily stay here again in the future.

The hotel staff was very friendly and very knowledgeable of the questions i had. The hotel itself have some positive and negative remarks but overall i still gave them 4*.
The bathtub was not tub bath friendly. The bathroom door was very uncomfortable for 2 people.
The bathroom door must be closed first prior to accessing the shower. It was very inconvenience, specially when another person is using the toilet.
The elevator has only one button to use when there's 3 elevators in use.
They have resort fees.
They have unlimited free coffees, for coffee lovers thats a plus.
They have free water, again thats a plus.
Overall, we enjoyed our visit.

We only stayed there one night, it was centrally located which made it convient to get to happening things in the area. The hotel was very clean.
What I didn't like was our sliding door in our room was damaged and appeared as if someone had broken the lock, also there wasn't enough towels in the room, and it was very small compared to other rooms that was around the same price. I also really don't like that you pay a resort fee for the property and also have to pay for parking. That to me is double dinging the guest.
But overall it was okay of a stay for one night.

Hotel is in a good spot to be at to avoid all that Hawaii traffic. Rooms are clean and good size, also the beach is in walking distance. The parking structure is a bit cramp but maneuverable. Overall the family and I enjoyed our stay and felt good coming back home for a few days.

The staff was very helpful and polite. The location was very close to the beach and bus stops and had and IHOP and Korean restaurants next door.
They provided a helpful sheet of info upon check-in that answered all my questions. Note, they do not do daily room cleanings for stays less than 4 days. This wasn't an issue for me.

Great location, friendly staff, easy Uber and bus rides to anywhere. I only wish the room was a little larger and the microwave wasn't on the upper shelf. The laundry area was also a nice bonus. They offer a discount to IHOP but the food there isn't very good at all. I preferred just walking around the corner and getting Mcdonalds if you want a quick breakfast or going across the street to Starbucks.

This place was disgusting! Our room looked like it hadn’t even been cleaned just clean towels thrown in- floors were stuck including carpet, shower was dirty, pillows stunk, windows/ mirrors were dirty, fridge was dirty and unbalanced. Let’s just stay I won’t be staying here again! Yuckkk!

My stay was a pleasant one overall. I stayed two nights. Room and bathroom is on the smaller side. The AC was auto and you did not have control of when it came on. If you’ve been out all day and you return to your room it’ll feel like there was no AC on but eventually the room will feel cool. They provided a tower fan but it did not work. Room temperature on the thermometer constantly said 80 degrees buy fortunately did not feel like it. Room was clean and did the trick. Bed was comfortable but the pillows were too soft for my liking. The staff was excellent and very helpful. The location is centered between Ala Moana and Waikiki beach walk so it’s not a bad walk to either destinations. Overall I had a good stay.

The bathroom was so so so tiny that you had to stand back to the counter to shut the door. It almost hit the toilet thats how tiny it was. I got myself a couple of times and pinched my leg. The couch in the room was absolutely disgusting. It sucked you had to pay a resort fee but you have to ask for clean towels. Using the same towel 4 times before I was able to get clean one. The last day we had no hot water to shower. It took over an hour to have hot water. They did refund a nihht of parking. If you get a rental car, it is 35$ a night.

Hotel is a little outdated. Front desk staff very nice. It was nice for a one night stay, but was a smaller room if you are staying for an extended time. Our room did have a fridge and microwave though which was really nice. There is a parking fee and resort fee thats pretty expensive. The parking is in a closed garage and on a very steep driveway.

On arrival told that we had not paid for the room and needed to repay even after showing payment receipt. Following day bathroom flooded we had to relocate to another room which was lower with no veiws. Shower was so small and uncomfortable. Then hair dryer didn't work. Took it to reception and told will bring another, took 3 calls as we needed to go out.sliding door to balco y didn't close properly an aircon would not work. Definatley would not retun nor recommend.

We had a nice stay at Aqua Palms. I saw a lot of people complain about the size of the bathroom and honestly, if you’re not overweight the bathroom is completely fine. I can see how it’d be tight if you’re big. The shower is small, yes but the pressure and temp was amazing. Water did get all over the floor though no matter what we did.
The room was clean and cozy and updated. The gym left a lot to be desired but you could get a decent workout with free-weights and treadmill.
The parking garage is tight so if you plan on getting a rental car either get a small framed one or be super confident in your driving skills.
The location is prime and that was great.
