The room was decent and modern, except the toilet and shower, but the hallway spelled of pot and the hot tub was out. We specifically look for hotels with hot tubs, so this was very disappointing. We won't be staying here again.

The hotel itself was fine - I was a little nervous about the parking lot but that might have just been me. Nothing happened, just a lot of other traffic around the hotel.

The front desk attendants were not friendly at all. The lady that checked me in didn’t go over any information regarding the hold they place on your card, check out time or about the continental breakfast. When I come back up there later while she was checking someone else in she was going over all of that with them. Also the pool water was not warm and they had 3 electrical heaters plugged up around the pool area because it was not heated which is very unsafe. Then there was an empty hot tub with no covering over it I had to keep an eye on the younger kids that were with me to make sure they didn’t go near and fall in. Later that night when I ordered food from a restaurant I forgot to get plates and cups and I was told by the man at the front desk why didn’t I get plates from the restaurant and didn’t I have cups in my room. The entire stay was not pleasant at all . I would not recommend this place to anyone.

Upon check in there were a million kids arguing in the lobby and some lady yelling at them. Them another person tried to walk in the building with a million balloons and a birthday cake . The clerk at the front desk told her she had to leave because of the no party policy and they proceed to argue .. it took me an hour to get checked in … terrible experience… tell them to show you the camera footage

This hotel was so dirty the furniture in the room look molded, the towels smell like glue.. it’s 32 degrees in Chicago I only had 2 sheets on the bed.. the refrigerator sounded like it was gonna explode.. it was dirty finger prints on the walls.. the toilet tissue looked like it was wet.. the shower curtain was mildew and it looked like blood was on some parts of the wall.. the shower was making an engine sound.. this was the worst place to stay JUST FILTHY AND THE house keeper was ignorant her name was arika please fire her💯 she was MEAN AS HELL.. I hated it so bad I WANT MY MONEY BACK I WILL BE CALLING CORPORATE WHEN I GET BACK HOME..

You get what you pay for
I walked in and if I had not paid on line I would have left. I felt like I was in a cheap dirty motel but this is a hotel. The floors were nasty carpet too. People sound in rooms baby crying you could hear from in the room tub was broke water smelled of chlorine in the shower. I had another guest come to me about vending machine horrible stay will never stay again. In a great location but horrible stay

The hotel is OK, the halls definitely need some cleaning. Very low status of the hotel chain. I had to move rooms because thermostat didn't work and the next room the TV kept cutting off so I couldn't watch TV. They offered to move me AGAIN but I had already cleaned and disinfected all of my surfaces in the room by then and didn't want to do it again. Also when I pulled up the mattress cover it looked like someone was murdered or at least bled out on the matress! It's definitely just a place to lay your head. Just a tip, PLEASE be ready to check out by 10:45/10:55 because Management WILL knock on your door if you're not out by 11.

Good spot for a reasonable rate.
Hotel was fine. It was clean as far as we could see. The room was good, no carpet in the room. The breakfast leaves a little something to be desired. B
No hot food, you can make a waffle but there isnt any butter.
Staff were really nice and helpful.

Felt price gouged for a one night stay 270$ was terrible when normal rates are 80-100$ a night. I was originally put in a room, where a maintenance person was working on the bathroom, and scared him when I entered. The second room they put me in was much nicer, which made my stay disappointing, instead of terrible.

I've stayed there 6 weeks apart. The front desk person was great! The hot tub has been broken both times and the first floor always smells like marijuana. Last time I was there, there was a bad thunderstorm and there were some pretty bad leaks from the roof in the pool area.

Pros:
-Conveniently located, close to restaurants and a large Speedway gas station.
-Continental Breakfast with many options
-Staff was extremely friendly and helpful
-Room had some newer things. The tv cabinet and the sink/sink cabinet looked to be fairly new
-Shampoo/Conditioner/Body Wash/lotion were all Dove brand and smelled good.
-Floor was vinyl(?) Wood looking flooring. So much better than carpet that cant be fully cleaned between each stay.
-Has a microwave! Many ive stayed at only had a mini fridge but they had both.
-Thermostat is on the wall and AC worked well.
Cons:
-Besides the newer cabinets in the room, it appeared very old. Has chipping and peeling paint, dents and scratches on the wall and tub.
-Could hear people walking in the halls at night (not very soundproof)
-People smoking weed in and around hotel, so constantly smelled bad
-Waffle maker handle broken, breakfast microwave buttons dont work very well.
-Only one elevator
We stayed here one night for a concert at the amphitheater. I have stayed here in the past, probably 5 years ago and it seems they are trying to upgrade the hotel rooms. While it wasnt a perfect stay by any means, i would stay here again. The upgrades are enough to show they are trying to better the hotel! The staff was also so friendly checking in and with any questions. Very helpful explaining wifi, breakfast times, etc.

We stayed overnight for a concert, we brought our little dog, we moved the chair close to the bed for the dog to be close to the bed, and there was a red slushy in a plastic glass, under the chair, we asked the cleaning people who were down the hallway from us and I asked them if they would mop it up for us because of the dog, and they yelled at me and said I had to go to the front desk.

Took forever to check in. In the morning they closed breakfast super early so dont believe it ends at 11 closes like 930. Put us next to a bunch of screaming kids asked for change was denied

This hotel seemed a hospital wing that was in need of many repairs. The air conditioning unit was hanging off the wall and I could see outside light, which left us to wonder what was going to be crawling in there. There was an inch and a half space under the door into the hallway of the hotel which was very strange. There was no lock on the window. It sounded like we were right on the highway as there was no buffer at all to the noise. The room was very dimly lit and the wall was banged up from the plastic bright orange chair that also looked like it was straight out of a hospital. There was base molding missing in the bathroom and the door paint was all beat up as well. For the price we paid at $250 a night, we wished we had driven straight home after the concert we attended at the Tinley Park amphitheater.

It looks a bit run down. Everything was clean though. Bathrooms were clean, sinks, toilets, mirrors, bedding. The floors are tile so no chance of bed bugs which is awesome. Good value hotel

Bed was rock hard. Pillows were lumpy. (not firm or soft. Just lumpy). Blanket was like a stiff piece of toast slid over you. Even with both blinds pulled down light from the outside businesses poured into the room as late as 2 am. Light from the hallway poured into the room from around the door. (we had to hang up a sheet in front to get it dark enough to sleep. Worst hotel experience in my entire life

Worst hotel stay ever
First of all, the TV DIDN'T WORK, when I reported it, the fest Cleark came up and mess around with it. Twice. She couldn't fix it so she offered us a discount on the room. When I check out, they didn't horde anything. Then I found out from the cleaning staff that the TV hadn't worked in day and they knew that. It only a TV However; I hate being LIED TO AND PLAYE. Morning Breakfast was terrible with some Lady on speaker phone talking so loud, you can hear her from the parking lot. I will never stay there again. In fact, I will never stay at any of there hotels.

Good parking, easy to get to from the highway. Room was clean but had to go get towels for the bathroom. Went to use the hot tub but it was just as cold as the pool. Room across the hall was playing load music, but once in the room you couldn’t hear it because the air conditioner was really loud.

I booked this property SPECIFICALLY because it offered free breakfast,and a HOT TUB. after checking in I learn that thier hot tub is OUT OF ORDER,and not in service!!......then the next morning,find that thier "breakfast" is more like a "Continental" breakfast....NOT what I wanted,leaving much to be desired.

YOUR MONEY DESERVES BETTER!
If you can find somewhere else to stay, then I implore you to take your time and go to that somewhere else to visit. This Property is a garbage pick of a hotel to spend your money to sleep in for the night.
From the dirty Decor to the sour smell in the hotel, the hallways, the elevator, n the air coming out of the conditioning unit in your room.
This hotel looks like it has not been updated since at least 2002, and the people in charge are giving the very bare minimum for this place even to be considered a choice for people to spend their money.
Terribly small bathrooms, TVs in the room are absolute garbage, the cable choice is absolute garbage, and then they have the nerve to charge $300 a night for some nights? It's robbery. I will never stay at this hotel again. 🏨

I was very disappointed with the condition of our room. It was not good. Filthy floors. Used tissues on the floor, used plastic drink bottle left on the shelf. Holes in the walls. No cover over the electrical outlet. Stains on the sheets. The lady at the check in was not friendly and seemed annoyed when I walked up to the counter. Never smiled. The cost of a one night stay seemed expensive and not worth it.

Staff was good. The hotel was not in great condition. We have stayed at other La Quintas that were decent but this one is not great. It doesn’t smell great and the elevator was not working most of the time we were there.

Staff were nice, but was given keys to a room that in an employee’s terms “didn’t work”, was given a new room but only one of the two keys worked, bedsheets and pillows also had some mysterious green stains on them but wasn’t noticed until the morning of checkout. Good thing I slept on top of the covers and not under them. Overall dissatisfied with stay

The rooms were fairly vlean. The rooms were raggly and chabby. The rooms had holes in the wall. No screens on the windows..the room smelled like smoke, even tho they had a no smoke policy. The lobby had no fresh water..we exchanged rooms , the next one was no better than the first. I would suggest if you looking for a quality hotel..this is not the one it is raggy as hell..Breakfast eas just some waffles and boil eggs..just terrible this Laquinta in Tinely is garbarge stay away..You eill be terriy disappointed..

This property was DISGUSTING. We had to book another property because of how dirty it was. We had been traveling all day and found our room covered in the previous guests food, dirt, and body hair. We were on site for 10 minutes

Not what i expected
My husband and i were traveling to Mt Rushmore from PA. We made this our 1st stop. The room was huge with a long counter table along 1 whole wall and there were 2 chairs. The was also a fold out tundle sofa/bed. The bed was comfortable. The shower was not very clean and there was some type of stain on the ceiling in the bedroom area. The breakfast consisted of only waffles as the "hot breakfast". I would not stay there again.

Don’t respect your time

Terrible choice. Non smoking but reeked of weed. People loitering around the entrance made me very uncomfortable. Stale muffins for breakfast, no housekeeping, no shampoo, sticky room floor, pool not in service, no place to sit and quietly visit with fellow travellers. So many other choices in the area. Go somewhere else.

Avoid and stay elsewhere.
Needed a hotel room for the night for my mom, my infant, and myself. We are locals and lost power, didn’t want baby to get cold. The girl at the front desk was lovely, but everything else was awful. We only stayed in the room 5 minutes - long enough for me to book us else where. Our room (204) had a large crack in the ceiling, and the entire floor reeked of cigarettes. So we checked back out without ever taking our coats off.

I picked the hotel under the impression that I would be able to relax after the funeral in the jacuzzi/pool but it was down. The room had hair on the bed, hand prints on the mirror, the sink was clogged, and there were large stains on the wall. The breakfast was extremely limited. The keycards kept deactivating and I had to keep getting assistance to get in my room.
