Good stay - would recommend
Very convenient for a quick stay close to the airport. There’s not much in the neighborhood but the hotel is comfortable and super easy to catch the sky train to the airport just outside.

Not to Crown Plaza standard
Homeless and intoxicated people in and outside lobby. All trash cans overfilled throughout hotel. Smoke/chemical odor. Vomit on curb outside main entrance.

Clean and comfy hotel. Staffs and friendly and helpful. Near the airport. Hotel has complimentary airport shuttle that runs every 30mins. Room is spacious and comfortable. Definitely recommended!

The only fault with the hotel is well hair dryer was old and hardly working. Double queen bed room could be a little bigger. Other than that very nice welcoming and friendly staff. Restaurants bar downstairs nice square pool and nice pool. Classy lobby. But the best thing about a hotel is that being an airport hotel there is 24-hour shuttle having said that there is a train that can take you to the airport for free right across the street. So it is unbeatable as an Phoenix airport Hotel. Extremely convenient nice day

Room was average. Tub was dirty, tv had lines in screen waited over an hour at the bar area for a cup of soup ( resturaunt was closed in evening). No butter or juice at breakfast toaster took 20 min to toast bread ( no exageration)

Honestly, the restaurant, the perch... people just thought they were walking into a free continental breakfast then they would eat and were like, what? we have to pay for this? I was embarrassed for them. Then seriously, by my math you may house up to 800 adults a night, the free coffee is not marked well, and when you find it, it is one pot...? empty by 6 AM. and there was no coffee in the room, just tea and decaf coffee. dog poop was literally everywhere out front. instead of training the employees to not think they are some high class hotel, they spent money on extravagant placards to say no smoking ... on the property at all or they will fine you $400.00.
get some class! for as old as the hotel was, at least the beds were very nice and rooms upgraded properly.

Beautiful hotel, recently renovated. It’s right across the street from the tram that takes you to the airport terminal, so a shuttle is not necessarily needed. The room was very clean, sheets on the bed were very soft, with a very large TV. Great experience.

Be prepared for surprises on your credit card
I am not one who generally posts reviews, although I stay at hotels quite frequently. But I had a very unpleasant experience with the Crowne Plaza Phoenix Airport hotel, and I want to warn folks in advance of a potential visit. I stayed at the hotel January 10-11. When I returned from my trip a few days ago, I noticed that Crowne Plaza had attached a $400 fee to my credit card. I called and asked the nature of this charge, since nothing was mentioned at the front desk when I checked out, nor did anyone at the hotel bother to inform me of their intended actions after my stay. She replied that the charge was for smoking in the room. I do not smoke, and there was no one else in the room during my stay. I chose a nonsmoking room precisely because I do not smoke and do not care to be in a room where smoking is allowed. In fact, I was barely in the room at all since the cable service was out at the entire hotel for the duration of my visit. What I find most frustrating about the way that management handled this is that nobody bothered to inform me that they believed someone had been smoking in the room, despite the fact that they have my contact information. The only notice I got is the $400 charge they levied against my credit card. I get the impression that they are more interested in using this ruse as a revenue source. One thing for certain is that there are lots of options when looking to stay at a hotel, and I will never again choose to stay at a Crowne Plaza hotel.

Check in went well. Carpet snd room a bit dingy. Needs updo. Ad on Hotel.com said breakfast. Check in didn’t mention it was for pay. When we entered breakfast area there was no attendant. So we went to buffet. Are and as we were leaving handed a $46 bill. For a very poor breakfast bar. We talked to management, finally they comped us one meal. We were treated poorly , won’t return.

Nice but could be better
The room was nice and well appointed, but it needed a good clean. When I first walked in, it appeared to be very tidy, but after looking around, I found that the perimeter of the room and every corner was quite dirty.

Waited 45 minutes for shuttle from the airport. Nobody answered phone for shuttle request…took 20 minutes to reach front desk. Check-in also required a wait. Then I ordered a turkey sandwich, got ham! Then the noisy refrigerator and loud room next door kept me up most of the night.

Nice stay, close to airport.
Super comfortable beds. Clean bathroom. Great service. Hot tub was small, but pool area was nice. Airport shuttle was convenient and quick. Overall exactly what we needed.

I made the reservation for a room that had a walk-in/roll in shower. My wife is disabled. I selected a room that supposedly would be accessible for her needs. The room that we checked in to DID NOT have roll in shower. It was extremely difficult for her to navigate her scooter because there was not enough space between the bed and the dresser. If this was supposed to be an "accessible " there would have been easy for her to move around the room.. Prior to our arrival my wife called 2 times to confirm that the room had a roll- in shower. Your stuff confirmed this .
When I informed the front desk attendant that the room did not the roll- in shower he said that he did have another room . I even showed him the reservation that showed
a roll-in. He did even apologize for the error that was made. I had to request for compensation. When we checked out I spoke to a different attendant and told her that the other attendant said he see about getting some Kind of compensation. She told me since the room was
booked through a 3rd party then is nothing she could do. This was a huge disappointment !!

I really like the property being close to the airport and that they run a shuttle 24/7 to and from the airport. It is also close to the tram to go downtown or to the airport. Rooms are average but the fact that you can park your car and leave it there for week long stays is a plus

Located within walking distance to the main Zocalo, churches, museums and restaurants.
Senor Martin and his staff are very friendly, they go above and beyond, in order to make your stay memorable!

All employees were professional and friendly.
Had a slight problem with parking a 2nd car in the garage but it was quickly and kindly resolved.
The rooms were nice and clean. Comfortable Queen Beds, Huge TV, Amazing view of the city on the 7th floor and a small refrigerator.
Thanks again to the amazing staff who quickly checked us in with a smile.
I would suggest anyone looking for a hotel close to the airport or the city to checkout Crowne Plaza in Phoenix.

This hotel is conveniently located within the airport, so it was easy to get to the airport. You can just hop on the tram which is just across the street and that takes you the airport to check in. Very convenient, esp if you have to catch an early flight. The room, beds and bathrooms are clean. The only thing was that our hair dryer was so dirty. Not even sure how you can get a hairdryer that nasty, sticky and dirty. But we took it to the front desk and she had security go to the stock room and get a us a new one.

Discriminated against for having a service dog. Was put on the third floor instead of a room with a view. Also, room was dirty - many areas weren’t vacuumed. TV had lights out of it. Shower and sink was clogged up.

The stay was fine, after the hidden fees, but now they are trying to charge a smoking fee saying we smoked in the room and we absolutely did not. They claim to have sensors. Maybe they do but those sensors need fixed. We did not smoke in the room and this is absolutely bs.

The property is great. The front desk staff are very helpful and friendly. The only thing that I didn't like is once we got off the elevator to our floor, the smell of pot lingered up and down the hallway. I don't blame the hotel, I blame the idiots who don't have the common sense to smoke outside, just because it's legal doesn't mean you have to subject everyone to smelling like a skunk.

The inside of the hotel lobby was clean and open. It had an expensive hotel feeling. Once inside the rooms, the expensive feel ended. We couldn't plug our coffee maker into anywhere in the room, the only outlet it would reach was not working. We had to plug it in the bathroom. That wasn't a huge deal, but inconvenient. No microwave in the room either. There was breakfast with a fee and a fee for parking (which was in a dirt lot).
The staff was amazing but it did not make up for the shortcomings of the other inconveniences. I would not recommend staying there, nor will I stay there again.

The first room I was assigned to was dirty. Water on the bathroom floor. Dirty sink. It had not been cleaned. I had to wait an extra hour in line to get to the receptionist desk to complain. They moved me to another room, where the room was clean, but all the containers of soap were empty.

Not in the nicest part of town but is a very nice hotel they have garage parking and hotel security. The hotel staff was very nice. Food was great at the restaurant.
Best part is the sky train is right across the street from the hotel and they have a 24 hour shuttle to and from the airport

he shower and bed appeared somewhat outdated, but the staff was good. The towels and bed sheets were very clean. Upon arriving at the hotel at 2:00 AM, we noticed a man in the corner who seemed to be selling something, possibly illegal stuff. While I wasn't personally concerned, I can see how this could be unsettling for younger individuals or women. Overall, the experience was okay. I'd recommend updating the showers and beds.

Our room was filthy! The AC was so loud that we had to shut it off. We talked to management, but they did not care. I was completely blown away by how awful it was.
