I stayed here for one day before my cruise and I didn't want to leave. Everyone on staff was nice and helpful, the room was clean, and the food from the connected restaurant was great. I would definitely stay here again and I recommend to anyone that wants to stay on Ocean Dr.

The location is great close to all the sight on Ocean Drive. The room was nice, bed was very comfortable, they do not provide enough towels in fact they make you sign them out if your going to the beach or using them at the pool. The pool area is nice but tiles are coming off in the pool. Housekeeping forgot to clean our room on Saturday and I had to call twice to get it cleaned on Sunday.The fire alarm went off 2 nights in a row to which nobody had an explanation and they didn’t seem to concerned about it, they charge a $39 convenience fee for amenities like beach chairs and bikes yet they were out of both the two times I asked. The spa is very nice and a great option

I'd give this hotel a 3-star rating, quite a distance from 4 stars. The hotel is notably old and outdated, with an acceptable lobby but aging rooms. The couch in the room was dirty, to the extent that you wouldn't want to touch it. The actual condition of the room falls short of the appealing pictures, and the pricing is definitely on the higher side. I won't be booking here again.

My girlfriend and I stayed at the hotel victor on south beach for 5 days. The location was great close to food, clubs and shopping. The staff was super friendly unfortunately the hotel itself wasn’t as upscale or as clean as we thought it would be for the price we paid. I also had to pay a 200.00 dollar resort fee even though I didn’t use the spa or anything else included in the resort. The pool entrance was convenient but keep in mind you will hear people out in the pool are if you book the room with pool access.. we didn’t mind it. The room comes with a fully stocked mini fridge just keep in mine the prices for what you take from inside. The first 2 nights our sleep was disrupted with the screeching sound of the fire alarm and automated voice that tells you there’s a fire but there’s not a real fire. The pictures online are definitely deceiving but overall a decent booking if you are looking to stay across the beach.

The room lacked cleanliness, with an extremely old and dirty carpet. It appeared that the windows hadn't been cleaned in quite some time. Despite our pre-check-in request for a dust-free room due to my wife's allergies, the management ignored it. The online photos proved to be misleading. Considering the lack of value for money, it's advisable to explore alternative accommodation options.

Celebrated NewsYears at the Hotel Victor. The hotel is a little run down , but the service was exceptional. The spa overall is small , steam room was in poor shape and the hamam was tiny room and didn’t work very well. Overall was good experience but extremely expensive.

This was honestly the worst experience, I arrived at the hotel to checkin and there was no staff at the property to check us in. There was a random
lady charging her phone in the lobby and she advised us that no one had been there for 2 hours. There customer service were so poor at finding a resolution for this issue as I two of the women I spoke over the phone hung up. We ended up driving around to if maybe someone will return to check us in, long story short we ended up at the Nobu

The location cannot be, and the front desk personnel are quite friendly and attentive. However, the rooms are pretty much of mediocre quality at best, and cleanliness and housekeeping not effective. Do not think the toilet was cleaned in the 4 days I was there based on the ring around it when I left; windows, glass doors and sometimes sink not clean (depending on the day for the sink). Based on stays in other hotels in the area, there are better quality places to stay for the same amount (this was not inexpensive!) or less.

A very comfortable property in a convenient location! Walkable to many dining options and shopping. And right across the street from the beach. The staff is the nicest we’ve ever encountered! Ann and Laura were the greatest, always offering suggestions! Don’t waste your time and money staying anywhere else!!!

Very cool art deco hotel on south beach!
The staff was amazing! The hotel is located across the street from the beach and perfect location to everything. They offer free use of hotel beach towels, beach chairs and bikes. They have valet parking ...extra charge(which if you have a car plan on using since public parking is usually full or more expensive). The art deco hotels and buildings in the area are very cool to check out.

Amazing hotel right on Ocean drive. I stayed in the King Suite then I upgraded to the Penthouse. Food and drink was amazing, staff were amazing, amenities were amazing. If you are going to south beach stay at the Victor Hotel you will not be disappointed.

It was an anniversary weekend for my wife and I and the second time we stayed there. Things we love- cleanliness( which is important) people where very nice, we love Cafe Americano and the deluxe king suite had a lot more space than a standard room.
Did not like the fact that the second floor Terraza rooftop experience that was advertised on the first floor was really not a thing.

Stay was good, comfortable, & convenient. Nothing special out of other places I've stayed in South Beach before. My biggest disappointment was housekeeping. I left my door tag to have my room cleaned at 10am, came back from the beach at 3pm, and my room was still not cleaned. Then called for extra towels to be sent and took 45 minutes to have them sent. As mentioned, nothing special.

Had a great stay here. A cute hotel in a great location! Literally right across the street from the beach and at the end of ocean drive so it feels removed from the craziness but not too removed! The hotel provides towels and beach chairs which is extremely convenient if you can’t bring your own. The rooms are a comfortable size with a comfortable bed. I would stay here again.

We love that hotel. Awesome location. Modern and clean rooms with huge bathrooms. A great pool area, Restaurant, and Bar. Everything that the heart needs.

It was in the middle of all the action. Loved the location. Right next to the Versace mansion, and the entrance to the public beaches. The gym could use a little facelift but the room connected to the pool was incredible. A dream location. Highly recommended. Lovely staff.

The hotel and staff were AMAZING!! Ronaldo greeted us, and was kind and helpful with our luggage. The hotel is directly across from the beach and they provide beach chairs and beach towels at no charge. The swimming pool at the hotel is also a great alternative to the beach…we enjoyed both. The hotel is surrounded by many dining options. Although there are clubs and night life nearby, once you enter the hotel it is peaceful and quiet. The only complaint, and seems trivial in comparison, was there is not adequate lighting and mirror space in the bathroom to get ready. I would recommend they have a secondary decorative mirror in an alternative place within the room. I look forward to returning for another stay at the Hotel Victor!

We pay for ocean view room we get pool view room when I went to ask she said this is ocean view room obviously wasn’t cause we couldn’t see anything then the pool and then she said I should ask for ocean view room when we check in but was obviously that I would like what I paid for but not for her . She didn’t have the room we paid for so we stay in the pool room view on price of ocean view . When I ask nicely if we could stay check out half hour later cause our tax it’s coming to pick up late she said no because she need the room now that very strange cause the check in is at 4 pm but she need the room at 11 . Terrible service in from desk .

Was OK in general. You have to pay so many fees , for everything is a fee. Parking 60$ per day, the parking was much more expensive compared to the Jeep 2023 that I rented for 20$/ day. It looks like they steal money from you on everything.

We booked this hotel for 3 nights (Wed to Fri) and being our 1st time in Miami I was skeptical given some of the reviews.
We were initially impressed with the check in process. A gentleman named Jeffery checked us in and the process was excellent. We landed in Miami around 10am and he changed our room so we could have access to a room as our room was not ready at that time given check in is in the afternoon.
The room was as expected and we had no concerns during our stay. The room was spacious enough for my husband and I and we utilized the space effectively to store our belongings.
The checkout process went smoothly and no complaints.
We did not eat at the restaurant so cannot comment on the food.
We used the pool area a couple times and no problems getting a seat (cabana).
The hotel is located in a busy area which is what we were expecting. We did not encounter any noise from the Main Street (Ocean Avenue).
Overall, this hotel met our expectations and we felt the amenities match the price point.

Hotel Victor is a terrific hotel in the heart of South Beach. The hotel staff were all fantastic - particularly the hotel GM (Avi) and Jeff on the front desk. I was traveling from Australia and they helped me identify where to go, and what to do and organised access to venues I wouldn't have been able to attend otherwise. The hotel itself is fantastic, clean, modern and organised. Great price point too. I'd definitely stay here again - thank you.

This was our first stay and couldn’t be happier . Staff in all areas were absolutely fantastic and went above and beyond to help and were so friendly and professional . Room was clean and well laid out . The bathroom floor can be very slippery so tread with caution.
Room was quiet , never heard any noise from other rooms . The location is great and in walking distance to anything and everything .
My only beef would be all the smoking at the pool and drinking in the pool. Guests tended to hog the cabanas all day and leave for several hours for lunch . Chantal who worked in the pool area was wonderful and Jeff in reception made it possible to get a room when we arrived at 11am due to an early morning flight .
I’d recommend this hotel without hesitation.

Awful is an understatement!!!!
Let me be clear:this hotel was an absolute nightmare. The room was a disgrace. It was tiny, outdated, and smelled like a cesspool. The floors everywhere were scratched and filthy, and the walls and doors looked like they hadn't been renovated since the Stone Age. There was virtually no light in the room, making it feel even more claustrophobic. Despite booking a partial ocean view, my window looked out onto a drab concrete wall.
But it wasn't just the room that was a disaster. The hotel had no amenities worth mentioning, and even the beach chairs they provided were embarrassingly cheap. The surrounding food options were dismal at best, and the lobby was so dimly lit that it felt like something out of a horror movie.
But the icing on the cake? The hotel had the audacity to notify us that there would be no running water for two hours. When we called the front desk to inquire about this, they gave us some bogus excuse about it being a "South Beach problem." We called around to other hotels in the area and found out that this was a total lie--other properties had no issues with their water supply.
We were so disgusted with this hotel that we had to call hotels.com to find us another place to stay. We ended up at Loews.
To sum it up: this hotel was an absolute disaster, and I wouldn't recommend it to my worst enemy. The staff was incompetent and unhelpful, the amenities were non-existent, and the overall experience was a total nightmare. Stay far away from this place.

Beach access/view, the entertainment was great staff very welcoming.
Now, I'm a clean/neat freak. I even bring my own towels/bedding/etc..this is pre covid. I didnt expect a 400 plus dollars a night hotel to have a filthy rug underneath the bed and hair that was not mine in the bathroom/tub/and even in the coffee mugs.

Nice little clean hotel located on the ocean drive with a cute and comfortable (heated) pool area overlooking the ocean drive. The staff was kind, helpful and professional especially Jeffrey. I would say that hotel is little outdated, but overall it’s acceptable. During the spring break avoid the ocean drive area at all costs especially if you are traveling with family or kids. It was a total CHAOS even for me and I’m from NYC!

Loved the hotel. We got a 2nd floor room with direct access to the pool. Only problem was we couldn't open our slider. Had to call the front desk. They sent someone right up. They got it open. But then after we were done with the pool we couldn't lock the slider. Again had to call the front desk. Very frustrating since we paid more for this type of room. But we didn't let that bother us. The bathroom was large. The bed was soft. I can't find any fault with the property. It was decorated very cool to. The people working the front desk were super friendly. Check in took longer than expected. Only one person at the desk. But after the check in everything else was fine.

All Wonderful Minus Parking Fiasco
The hotel itself was great! Fantastic location, great room, comfy bed, quiet up on the 7th floor! Free towel and beach chair rentals were a great bonus, as the hotel is right across from the beach.
My one complaint is with the valet service. I called and contacted the hotel through email before my stay regarding storing my rental car there as I was only renting a car for a portion of my stay, and was met with mixed information or simply no response each time. This mixed information regarding parking unfortunately continued into my stay, and I was incredibly disappointed in the way Hotel Victor handled my parking situation.

I liked that they provide chairs for the beach. However you are only allowed to borrow them for 3 hours, after that a fee is charged of $50. If I am paying a resort fee than that should not happen. I might as well have paid to rent chairs and an umbrella on the beach. The restaurant attached to the hotel was Cafe Americano. CA had some great breakfast items and Tomas was an excellent mixologist at the bar. As far as cleanliness the rug in our room was worn and needed to be replaced. Everyone who worked at the hotel was very kind and bilingual which is great bc I speak Spanish but my husband doesn’t. Overall not a bad hotel for the price.
