The best!
The hotel was great and I travel for business so have lots to compare. The cleaning service is excellent. Room was so clean. Good food. Comfortable room. Best stay I have had all year and I have stayed in a lot of hotels over the last year. Thank you!!

The bathroom was the biggest problem. The bathroom fan was covered in dust nearly black, the caulking around the shower was moldy/ rotting away.

Checking-in was a bit chaotic. I'm not sure if it was Expedia or the hotel. I made reservations for two couples. For some reason one place had my name down and the other had my friend's. It took a while to sort things out in order to check in.

Super nice property right off the interstate! Parking is really easy and thereās lots of food options down the road. Room was very spacious, clean, and comfy. Breakfast was just okay, but front desk service & cleanliness of the room absolutely made up for it!

Overall ok for the area, but not for the cost. Bathroom was not very clean. Three day stay and room was never cleaned or refreshed for towels. Believe cleaning knocked the 2nd morning at 7:55am after we check in late the night before.

The hotel is new and everything is fresh and clean. I'm very choosey about where I stay on Vacation and I figure Holiday Inn has a high standard. However, I did have one problem- I took a cup of coffee to go and it was hotter than the Maui fires. As I got into my vehicle and started to put on the seat-belt, the whole cup tipped and the scalding hot coffee poured over my right leg. The temp of thee coffee was way too hot!

The rooms were nice. They provide you with dove shampoo, and all this good stuff. Anything outside the room like the hallways were crappy. The continental breakfast was average. It did have a washer and dryer. Definitely some pros. Definitely some cons.

Fire alarms went off about midnight. There was no effort by hotel staff to insure evacuation of guests and not communication as to problem or apology for the inconvenience not even the next morning there was no acknowledgement of the inconvenience.

The only bad thing I have to say is the shower head is a very low pressure shower head and the shower was very weak. So weak I had a hard time getting all the shampoo out.

someone used a room key to enter my room to steal several personal items while we were out, I know this because the door to the room does not shut all the way so I always made sure that I closed the door tight when leaving the room, I came back one time and the door was ajar so it was obvious that someone had used a room key to enter and there were several items missing.
the hot breakfast was the best out of the 5 different hotels we stayed at also the room was very nice and comfortable but because of the theft I cant give it a good rating nor will I recommend it to anyone .

We did not get the suite we had reserved through hotels.com. We were told this was an error on the part of hotels.com. We ended up with a king bed and chaise lounge for 3 of us. Staff were clueless and rude. Place was run down. Will never stay there again.

Pool closes super early even on a Saturday evening so none of the softball girls who were staying there during a tournament got to use it. Very disappointed. Also a few disorderly guests were very disruptive and police had to be called as management did nothing. Would stay elsewhere.

Tina the day staff was exceptional, the others not so good. On Saturday morning at 10 I asked that we would be out please clean our room. When we came back at 8 it had not been cleaned. Was told the staff left at 3 and never got to it. The clerk was rude would not bring towels up, e also needed toilet paper. Very upsetting.

The pool is closed and the only way to know this is to look at the very bottom of the page by the legal disclaimer and see there is a disclaimer stating so.
Also our room has an electrical fault in it which causes the lights between the beds to flicker.

The hotel was located immediately off the Interstate in a cove. It was quiet and felt safe. There are two gas stations within walking distance. The closest one had a Subway inside. The pool was spacious and warmer than most. In addition, there were many device chargers in the common areas and in my room. There was no shortage of power outlets as well.

Outdated and worn
The young man at the front desk was very friendly. The hotel itself was in major need of updating. The furniture in the room looked Iike it was from the 60s. The occasional table, bright orange and tiny, was missing the veneer around the edge, and the chair actually looked like it was ready to fall apart. The shower floor was stained and the sink was rusting. Only one of two elevators was working. The bed was not comfortable. Every time my husband moved, the whole bed shook.

Booked online within an hour of arrival. I must have hurriedly failed to turn on the "pet-friendly" filter, but since this is IHG and all others I've stayed at allowed pets, I had no worries. We arrived and literally could not check in because we had pets. The staff recommended Hampton near buy and we went there. Expedia called the hotel, and they refused to refund the booking. Terrible customer service.

The hotel was nice, check-in was quick and easy. The room was great and the bed was super comfy. One of the elevators made concerning sounds, but still operated properly. And the pancake maker was out of order at breakfast :( There were still enough options without it, though, and the coffee was good. We would definitely stay here again.

I donāt like that using Expedia it shows that they have a hot tub. They donāt. Not the first time Expedia has been wrong about that. You need to upgrade your system.

Stay was fine. room was a little worn, poorly repaired problems with plaster on wall, spots on office chair, some black dirt or flakes around on floor of bathroom. window shades were nice, bed was comfortable. Breakfast was fine.

We were on our way back from O'Hare after a week in Jamaica. The bed at the resort was not very comfortable so when I sat down on the bed at the Holiday Inn Express I was so excited. It was very comfortable, the pillows were great, and the linens were nice. I slept better than I had all week.

We stayed for one night. The room was very dusty, the floor looked vacuumed but the tile was gross.
The bathroom was clean though.
Disappointed that the hot tub was no longer.
Breakfast ladies were so sweet and had everything cleaned and fully stocked.

Our stay was ok, staff friendly, breakfast good. Pool was oddly murky idky and it was advertised to have a hot tub which was the main reason we reserved it, but the hot tub had since been decommissioned. We had conjoined rooms and it was odd the beds were both queens but different sizes. Again not sure why.

A quick stay
The room was very clean and the bed was so comfortable. After 12 hours driving it was very nice. The desk manager looked up a different route through Chicago to help me avoid traffic. They were both very kind. The pancake machine was having a belt code error and the two people working was not able to fix it. A lot of families were sad. They was no sign explaining it was broke. The price was not really affordable but a we needed a place to stay before Chicago.

I told Expedia Iād have a small dog. We booked a king suite but were put in a āpet friendlyā Double queen standard room when we arrived. I paid for a king suite. If you knew the suite was not pet friendly, why was I allowed to book it and pay for it? Also, our other main reason for picking this hotel was the pool and it was closed for maintenance. There was nothing in the site letting guests know that ahead of time. The hotel was quiet, water pressure terrible. Overall very unhappy, mostly with the fact that I did not get what I paid for.

They need a larger parking lot for the property, other than that, my only other issue was the soap scum in the shower, easily something that could have been cleaned if spent some extra time, stay was enjoyable and the bed was comfortable.
