We were not aware that there were homeless or illegal immigrants allowed to stay there. They had no consideration for others. Bringing entire families with children in diapers and underwear with no shoes in Chicago with negative temperatures. They were loud, took all the food and messy. I am a paying customer. My wife was extremely uncomfortable. We had to go out to a local diner.

Don’t waist your money
Bed had a sink in it and they gave me a hard time when I mentioned it to them. Heat stopped working in the e room they finally decided to swap me to. Loud neighbors playing music all night.

A pleasant surpise.
The Hotel was suprisingly cleaner than I had expected. The room was comfortable and clean. The only negative on thestay was there was a breakfast incluyded, however the breakfast area was not set up as I departed shortly after 7 a.m. There was coffee available. I would highly recommend staying at the Baymont.

Bathroom light was very light and greenish. Poor light for getting ready. Window was off track and old, not a good seal. Could hear all the traffic since it is located right next to busy Main Street. Breakfast on Christmas am was more limited then other days. No eggs, waffle machine not on. Asked for shaving cream and got dehydrated/ evaporated little packet of no use.

I booked the room on this website I get to the hotel they didn't accept my debit card (Varo) which I don't understand why they are a really good bank. I had to pay a deposit in cash for a 100 dollars and then they didn't want to give it back not because I was smoking in the room because one of my husband's cigarettes broke in the room and there was tobacco in the trash, no tissue in the room

Everything was good except breakfast there is no way at 9am eggs biscuits are not available I looked in the warmer there was one biscuit she said she didn’t have any eggs just hard boiled eggs was very disappointed about breakfast

Hotel okay but dishonest advertising
The hotel itself was fine, but had a bad experience with one of the staff. Our reservation was for 4 people. Our reservation showed a room that sleeps 4, but there was only 1 king bed. The staff member would not work with us - wanted to either charge for an extra room or charge to bring an extra bed into the room so we could sleep at least 3 people. Really? Fortunately the king bed was large enough one of our teenagers could share the bed with us and no one needed to sleep on the floor. I don't understand how you can advertise a room sleeps 4 when it doesn't sleep 4, allow someone to book it for 4 people, then not try to accommodate guests when they arrive. We've traveled a lot and never run into this at a hotel before.

I usually come into town at least 4 times a year. After staying at several hotels in the area this one is by far the best. I appreciate the fact that housekeeping comes in everyday to straighten & check your room without you having to ask. Go Baymont!

Looks a little shop worn. Room smelled like staff used too much cleaning solution with a strong fragrance and it affected our sleep. These rooms should be fragrance free.

Older but serviceable.
Older hotel. The curtains fell off the window but were fixed same day. The washing machine in the laundry requires quarters, which got stuck, so I wasn’t able to wash my clothes.

Good location, felt safe, the staff was very nice and helpful on food options. The only issue was the TV didn't allow us to use our app to watch NFL football or Movies.

Horrible Service and liars
Checked in the man at the counter was not friendly and very slow. Two was there only one working while the other watched. He said he was charging my card for half but charged it for more than the room deposit.
The next day the lady at the counter was even nasty. No smile no sense of humor. I would never go back.

It’s an older hotel that has been renovated. The rooms were clean, the staff was nice and the breakfast was adequate. The price is right for this hotel. Nothing fancy but works for overnight.

I've stayed at this location for a number of times but never smelled the halls, which had a mildew smell to it. Not sure what happened because I was just there in June and didn't have this problem. Also, the rooms could have been cleaned better. There was dried up food on the desk and inside of the microwave.

Clean, quiet, and nice breakfast options. All staff at the front desk were good to us.
The only (minor) issue I had was cleaning staff attempting to enter our room, without knocking, at least 1.5 hours before our checkout time, despite us having put up a "Do not disturb" tag on the door. This was a mildly frustrating interruption to our privacy while we were getting ready to leave and check out early anyway.
Better communication/coordination between cleaning staff and those confirming checkouts could be a good idea. This wasn't the first time this happened to us during our travels this summer... Overall, though, I'll continue looking out for Wyndham hotels when we're travelling and need somewhere comfortable and decent for the night.

I was charged $100 to make the initial booking and then charged the full amount for the booking once I arrived. Was on the phone with Expedia for over an hour and got no where and was still overcharged. BE CAREFUL WITH THIS WEBSITE!

There was a lot to be desired about this property, the room I was in, seemed very outdated and shabby halfway through our stay. The toilet stopped working and the manager proceeded to school and my daughter telling her she used too much toilet paper very rude not a professional would not recommend this hotel.

The hotel location was perfect for what we were in town for. The breakfast was not so good it was very basic and the weekend could be more. The rooms are okay the bed was too hard for me I work up with back pain . The lights went out Saturday night then the ac never came back on so woke up sweating.

I have stayed at this hotel multiple times and never had a problem. This time there were blood stains on the pillowcase and a loud dog in the room next door. The time before, there were blood stains on the sheets. If stained sheets/bedding happens again, I won't be back.

This was my first time at this property. Safe and quiet. Free breakfast was great. Room was clean and friendly staff. Would recommend this hotel to anyone wanting to visit Alsip or nearby areas.

The mirror in the hallway doesn’t have enough light to shave or put on makeup, also the breakfast has changed drastically, other family members we brought didn’t like the breakfast at all, we come to the Baymont every time we come to Chicago and the breakfast really isn’t like it used to be.

Check in took quite awhile. Front Desk staff wasn't rude but also wasn't super friendly. They have posted everywhere no smoking or even vaping. So that was a little inconvenient. We got the whirlpool suite and it was fun. All of the surfaces were still dirty and some still had cup rings on them. But overall, I'd stay here again.

To their benefit, it was quite busy when I checked in, but I still felt the staff was unnecessarily rude and unhelpful. When I came down to the desk later to ask for an additional blanket later, the person at the front desk went into a backroom for 10 minutes before returning with the blanket. The room itself was fine, but one of our room's doors was open when we arrived, which was somewhat unsettling. I don't think I'd stay here again.

Dirty, unsecured and smells like weed all the time
This place is disgusting and reeks of weed everywhere. The door from the first floor stairwell to the outside does not latch or lock so anyone can just access the property. The stairwell itself is filthy. The rooms aren't very clean either. The toilets and shower are low flow and can barely do the job. Do yourself a favor and stay at the Double Tree or Holiday Inn Express. This place is terrible.

We stayed unexpectedly for funeral. Check in was confusing to check in person regarding Expedia booking.
Room was ok. Being we stayed only 2 nights we did not complain about bathroom door did not close properly, don't like the sink outside of bathroom, could not turn on shower unless you are in the shower so it's pretty cold till it warms up, breakfast area was not kept up. Room itself was good, bed was comfy, TV good.

We stayed for one night. Hotel was quiet considering it was the weekend. All employees I encountered were nice, friendly and helpful. Decent complimentary hot breakfast. Phone didn't work in the room and the glass shower door kept sliding open while we took our showers. Overall still a good stay and would stay here again.

The facility was both shabby and unkept looking with dirty carpets in the hall ways and lobby. Our room had a strong smell of mildew. The price point was way too high for what they offer. If we hadn't needed the close proximity to our event we would have left after checking in. The staff wasn't friendly either. There were signs everywhere about being nice to the staff because they were understaffed also

It definitely needs some updates. Our room was not serviced the time we were there. The chair in our room looked dirty and oily where people rest their head so we absolutely did not use it. Didn’t try the breakfast so cant comment on that.

I enjoyed my stay at the Baymont, the room was nice, as well as the staff. The only thing I didn’t like was the additional $50.00 charge for the towels, sheets - which I didn’t use because I bought my own!!
