I booked on Expedia, thus check in was a breeze. The room was very clean, the halls were quiet. The bed was amazingly comfortable as were the pillows❤. The bathroom was also exceptionally clean. I would definitely stay here again! Late check it was not available.. I'm guessing because of the holiday, but i was afforded an extra hour and that was appreciated.

Billing rip off.
Very unhappy with billing and explanation. First I was told my AARP membership did not provide a discount. Then when I checked out (4 night stay) each night charge was different. When I asked why, the only response I received was "that is the way it is."
This attitude and response certainly will influence any future stays.

The staff were welcoming. The hotel was clean and the breakfast was good. Our grandchildren enjoyed the pool. We would definitely stay there again if we are in the area.

Nice hotel, poor water quality
While the hotel itself is nice and staff is attentive, my only complaint is regarding the water. It leaves this slimy residue after washing your hands or taking a shower that makes you feel dirtier than before you washed up. Good for a 1 night stay, but I had to switch hotels for this reason. The hotel said that chesterfield has "hard water" and added softener, which this was happening, but when I switched to another property, I did not have this issue.

Nice decor. Hot breakfast, though low quality offerings, such as eggs clearly poured from a carton, and sausage gravy/biscuits from a low-quality mix. Room was not clean upon my checking in. Upon first walking into the room, I found hairs in the bed (seen when pulling back the comforter), thick layer of a dried-on sticky drink that had apparently been spilled by a peevious guest on the side table, mirrors looked to be cleaned with a dirty rag. Surprisingly bad cleanliness. The beds (2 queens) were comfortable-- we slept on the one that did not contain the hairs described above. Additionally, a hair that apeared to he pubic hairwas found on the countertop where the Keurig machine was stationed. Upsetting, for the price I paid for the room.

Stopped in for a night while passing through. Room was as to be expected. Quite a bit of damage to the drywall and tile around the Bathtub/Shower. Beds were clean and comfortable. Decent/Good breakfast selection. Pancakes, omlets, oatmeal, biscuits and gravy, prok and turkey sausage.
Only complaint as mentioned by previous reviews. The water softener in the water makes your skin feel like its covered in oily slime. Its like a bodywash feeling that never washes off.
Staff was great, location was conveniently located. Would stay again.

Property was nice. We didn’t get the room I requested, which ticked me off a little since I paid more for it. I didn’t read the fine print about “this is a request not a guarantee”. That’s on me. When we pulled out the sofa bed, which was the only option since we didn’t get a room with two beds, there was dirty athletic tape and a water bottle that hadn’t been cleaned up before we got there. The front desk person did a good job considering she was the only one there. Would stay there again and if I book through Expedia I will know to call about the room request ahead. I don’t think it’s ok to have to pay more for something that’s only a request either.

I always stay at the holiday inn.
We were in St. Louis for the Jazz festival at The Factory in chesterfield. We stayed at the hotel on Arnage Rd. Our stay was perfect. The bed was comfortable, the food was delicious the hospitality was superb.

The property and staff on checking were just fine.
The next morning whomevers job it was to watch breakfast dropped the ball. All hot items were empty and not being refilled by 8 am. A guest had to tell the front office staff. Where he promptly found the employee who was supposed to be working. There were quite a few less than impressed guests that morning for breakfast.

Good & bad. We loved this place except that the bed had craters, just where you’d expect an old or poorly made mattress to have craters. It was uncomfortable on the back. When we told the front desk, one staffer gave us a blank look and remained silent; another jumped in and said they’d “let management know.”
Other: breakfast staff exceptionally efficient and pleasant. Great room except for the above.

Beds were terrible. Mattresses on both queen beds had holes that made you roll toward the edge of the bed. Fought to stay in bed all night. The glow light around the mirror was very annoying as well..changing channels on the TV was cumbersome, there was a 5-10 sec pause when changing channels which was very inconvenient.

Highly recommend:
• The front desk staff, Holly, was great with check-in. She was attentive in cleaning up the lobby area and pantry area after a large group of guests left. She provided accurate info to Shrnucks’ supermarket, wrote down the address legibly. She handed me keys with my room number and password closed to guard my privacy. She’s always smiling, great customer service.
• Love the way they put three big shampoo, conditioner, and shower gel in dispenser. And provided a big soap bar and a bigger than average size hand/body lotion bottle.
• Easy parking, convenient location.
• Electric outlet everywhere in the room and in easy and convenient locations.
• In the lobby pantry, plenty of tea and coffee bags, cups, utensil, napkins available. They use recycle paper cups.
• The snack/mini market next to the front desk was well organized and fully stocked.
• Excellent hot water
• Although it’s next to a major highway, the soundproof was good, that provides quietness and great sleeping quality.
• Breakfast was full of variety in both hot and cold foods, you name it, they have it.
• Like how they place utensils in different places within the pantry, for convenience.
Minor issues:
• A very small hair found on the pillow close to the headboard on the side near the bathroom.
• For breakfast, would be great to place tongs on the plate.
This hotel perhaps is one of the best I’ve seen in a long time in meeting and exceeding expectations.

It was nice and clean at the property. Front desk is very nice and friendly! The indoor pool is clean and nice.My room have a little issue by the shower. Those shower head is like 9 feet tall. I wasn’t like a Yao Ming. I am not able to adjust those. On top a shower, dry wall have a peel off. Overall is 8.5/10.

Little sleep
The people in the room next to us were very noisy until 3 AM. We personally knocked on their door and asked them to be quiet then called down to the front desk three times no one answered the phone. We also went down to the front desk and there was no one there.
