Wonderful Hotel!
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The check-in was seamless, the staff was EXTREMELY friendly. The bed was comfy, and the room was cozy. You’re within walking distance to a few restaurants and shopping centers. The parking garage on site is convenient and secure. You’re a short distance from George Mason and Tysons Corner. We will definitely stay here again!

The hotel's front desk was pleasing and respectful. The only unpleasing thing I discovered in our room was a cereal fruitloop in the chair. This signaled that the room wasn't cleaned perfectly and had me questioning the cleanliness of our room.

Great hotel near a Metro rail station
We had an amazing experience at this hotel! First off, I can't remember the last time I walked into a hotel room and it smelled nice; Yes, we typically stay in hotels of this class. Second, the water actually got hot in the bathroom, which is also uncommon. This hotel is close to Metro rail station, which is why we chose it. The staff was very friendly. There were numerous restaurants within walking distance. The hotel appeared to be well taken care of. We would definitely stay here again.

Very friendly and helpful front desk staff. Wonderful location. Minor details but -1 star because no USB ports on the desk and only one side of the bed. Also a conditioner bottle was empty in the shower room.

The pool is closed, noticed this issue with most Marriotts since COVID. Staff was great, hall carpets grimy. Since I booked 3rd party, would not give me rewards points. Probably will not book Marriott in the future.

We were delighted to learn that the hotel was so near a subway station. This enabled us to cover more grounds and we were not limited by distance. Our room was clean and we loved the brand of shampoo and soap so much that it was worth a mention. The lobby was a very pleasant place to sit or have a coffee at the bar if we were waiting to be picked up.

This is the third time I stayed in this hotel. One of the reasons is its location. The metro is 2 blocks from the hotel and there are a few restaurants walking distance. It is extremely clean and comfortable. Highly recommended it.

Fourth of July Stay
Overall, we had good stay. It was clean and new. There is also ample garage parking for normal size family vehicles. Neighborhood is new and there are plenty of places to eat and shop nearby. I liked the Harris Teeter's grocery store across the street and the Dunn Loring Metro train station. However, station is temporily closed, but there are frequent bus shuttles to the West Falls Church Metro train station, which took about 15 minutes. Unfortunately, front desk wasn't able to provide us with the correct status of the train. We were told it was open when it was closed. Metro station
employees were very helpful and directed us on our tour of Washington. Hotel also took 2 days to fix our broken tv and didn't refill soap dispensers. Refrigerator was tiny and didnt have a freezer section and beds were too soft for our comfort.
Outside of these issues, everything was fine.

The rooms were ok. When we walked into our room there were crushed peanuts on the floor. My daughter has a slight allergy to them so we quickly cleaned them up. The rest of the room was very clean and neat. They offered a small fridge, personal coffee maker ,(The coffee cup lids did not fit the cups. I know that sounds petty but when your traveling coffee matters.) That being said it was quiet and our family took a long walk around the area. It has cute shops and the area was very dog friendly!
Food prices were a bit higher and we felt not a lot was offered for family meals at the restaurant. They do have a vending area on the first floor. (Our floor had no ice machine, but it seems like they will be adding one. There was an area labeled vending but it was empty.) However the vending area on the first floor only has one microwave and most items took 5 to 6 minutes to cook, so eating together would be tricky.
The surrounding area offers more food options, so if you don't mind leaving the hotel you will find other options.
All together it was nice but i will be seaking other accommodations our next trip down.

Great location and friendly staff
We used this as our anchor point for visiting DC. It was extremely easy to get to from Virginia Beach, there is a Harris Teeter grocery store across the street and ample parking was only $5 per day. We found a great little coffee shop (Simply Social) nearby also with ample parking and delicious fresh cooked breakfast. Breakfast in the hotel was made to order as well as some pastries, fresh coffee and tea though it is not included in your stay, it was reasonably priced. Staff was friendly and it was quiet, we stayed Friday and Saturday. Pay attention to availability of metro, the schedule is different for weekends. The beds were a bit soft for our taste and the shower's water pressure a bit light for us but overall, we would consider this location on a return visit. Staff was friendly and accommodating. Just a note, the parking garage has height limitations 6'8", but they do have an alternative if your vehicle is taller than that.

We were assessed a parking fee charge at checkout, plus a data charge. Expedia never mentioned a parking fee. The check-in attendant said I signed up for high speed internet which I am quite sure I did not do.

Nothing unique about the property very dissatisfied a few things number one with the fact I am charged full rates and I can't utilize the amenities that I am told are available on the property prior to me booking being one reason I chose this hotel in the first place. I was infuriated when i asked about the pool and was told that a company was paying to use the pool area and that paying customers would not be granted or permitted access. Not to mention from arrival to after 1am the lobby was extremely crowded with your customers who were unnervingly loud as well as shamelessly displaying distasteful behaviors and inappropriate conversation for public. the worst part of all of this there was absolutely no action to cease these behaviors displayed by your front desk staff. More than likely I will not be booking again nor recommending.

Two large TV,s in lobby remotes available to make selections as long as it’s CNN. Selection cant be changed according to staff. Also add separate $5 charge per day for parking anywhere on the property. Don’t object to the charge as much as I resent it not being reflected in the room rate. Cafe breakfast not included but looks like a gourmet breakfast sandwich on the plate. Unfortunately no flavor whatsoever. $$$ went elsewhere after the first meal. Only things going for this location are convenience of location and cleanliness both of which were good for my visit to the hospital.

The AC was extremely loud and we were not able to fall asleep at all. We called the front desk and were changed to a different room that had an even louder AC! The staff was impatient and refused to provide another choice. The high rating (4.7/5) of this property on Expedia is very suspicious!
