Extremely rude front desk. Room with cat pee.
The front desk lady, I think name was Renee, was EXTREMELY RUDE and had the worst service ever. No greetings, no smiles, and no empathy since I checked in. I have stayed in at least 30 hotels the past year and had never been asked to provide my physical address before (usually links with my hotels.com account where all information needed has been filled prior). She looked at me with a death stare in her eyes asking for my address when i checked in and gave no explanation as to why they need it. I asked about it, and she said "uh...your address. i just need it."
Worse yet, I was assigned a room with residual CAT PEE and was affecting my sleep due to the smell. I had asked for a room change but since i am traveling with 1.5 months worth of luggage i had asked to parallel transfer over to the new room. I asked for a 10 minute window so i can move my unpacked belongings one by one. She gave me no explanation and just said no. Keep in mind, i DID NOT ask to stay in a room infested with cat pee, and for them to not accommodate such a simple request from YOUR INABILITY TO KEEP THE ROOM CLEAN is ridiculous to me.
Other staff were warm and nice. But Renee ruined the entire experience of the stay.

Stayed gor 9 nighys.oir TV didst work for the fitst 4 nights even thoigh foit different people tried to fix it in the meantime. Didn't receive any sort of apologu ot any type of comp for the boredom, so that was disappointing. Also, they only clean the rooms every three daus bit you have to rrad a dogn on the check im desk, they don't tell you

A perfect place to get away
We are two women who have been fried for over 40 years and no longer live close together enough to see each regularly. I chose the Hampton because of its location - handy to the highway since we ad a significant ride to get home. Check in was a snap, the room was terrific and the pool was warm.The place was clean as a whistle. Breakfast was delicious - hot waffles, juices, eggs, pastries, bagels, cold cereal, oatmeal, coffee and juices. It was surely a great choice on my part. Lots of local chain restaurants within easy drivig distance. The only reason that eco-friendly was not rated 5-star is that I had no way to judge that. Everything else was Great!!

my main door to my room was cemented instead of fixed right which looked like we were staying in a dump. our bed had no top sheet. They brought sheets to our room that was for a smaller bed. the buffet breakfast was cold. i have stayed in other Hampton Inns as i travel alot this was in need of some help and remodeling.

The property is nice, but in a difficult place to get into and out of--you can only enter the property from one way on a two way street. The check-in clerk had some rather major unpleasantness going on, but over all the property is nice and what would be expected. :)

Very clean. Only complaint is we had difficulty opening room door with key cards. The wonton who checked us in didn’t tell us in order to open the door you press door handle all the way up instead of down. When we couldn’t get in room, we had to go all the way back to desk ( with bags & my daughter) for her to tell us that.. then lug everything back up again.. would have been helpful to know when she handed us keycards in the first place. The woman serving breakfast was grouchy. The nicest ( and hardest working) was the maid ( who we left a nice tip )

The place was a mess. I got to the room, pulled back bed cover to find bugs. I immediately went down to the front desk and informed them that this was unacceptable and I wanted a full refund. I was so disgusted I ended up driving all night to get home. I need to be refunded for that booking.

The room was badly in need of an update.The bathroom vanity and desk were heavily worn.The taps were worn and very tired. The caulking around the bathtub was extremely poorly done …a very amateur job!
This was not my idea of the standard set for a Hampton Inn.

Comfortable stay in large clean room
Large, clean room with easy access to majors roadways. Breakfast was pretty standard for a hotel continental breakfast but nice to have it included. Accommodating staff. Would stay again.

Not fabulous
There was a ton of late night noise, no one stopping people at all hours of the night. Bathroom had hair and hair ties still in the shower. But the worst was the mattress. Most uncomfortable beds we have ever slept on. Hard as a rock. Food was ok, nothing special.

Ok but room was not especially well kept.
Mirror shelf in bathroom was permanently stained…
Sofa stained, and cushion too worn to comfortably sit on .. not supportive.
Desk staff helpful but not particularly friendly. Breakfast adequate.. one server rather snarky when food was placed differently than before and I asked where fruit was. Cleaning staff very kind !

Spacious, Comfortable Stay for Family of Four.
Staying at this hotel was a great experience. I absolutely loved the 1 king bedroom suite that I stayed in. There was plenty of room for my daughter and grandchildren. In fact, the rooms were the largest that I have ever stayed in. The staff were super friendly and helpful. It is located in a good area.

I generally stay in Hampton Inns when I travel. I would never stay in the Taunton Hampton again. The clerk initially gave me a room directly across from the elevator. I returned to the desk clerk and received another room further from the elevator. Unfortunately, the people in the nearby rooms were in and out all night, slamming doors and talking loud in the hallway. Also, my room was a stone's throw for the highway and highway ramp. I was woken up by every racing motorcycle and every downshifting 18 wheeler coming off the highway.

Booking on Expedia definitely benefited me, because the price was cheaper. For the price, I believe that the facility is really top-notch. The breakfast is great, and the breakfast attendant is super sweet and really attentive. Check in was easy, and the front desk staff were really really friendly. The room was clean. The pool was clean enough. There really was no issues at all. I stayed for three nights. Originally I booked for two and then added an additional third night while I was there. The third night was a little pricey, because I booked direct, but that was to be expected. I stayed there with my four-year-old and infant. And felt like everything was Great. Good location. Right off the highway. No complaints here. Will definitely stay again when I’m in the area.

When I arrived in the lobby there was no one to greet you. No employees at the front desk. When she came out from the back she was on her cell phone talking to her child. I checked in went up to our room and it was a queen with a pull out. I booked for 2 queen beds I called down to front desk and complained. Why did she not tell me when I checked in that I was not getting the room I booked. She told me the hotel overbooked and there was no double queen rooms available. We were not happy at all I asked for a manger and she said she was the manager. Also, the bathroom was disgusting. I will never go back to this hotel again. After driving 6 hours I had to sleep on a pull out couch. Very poor management. Do not stay at this hotel!!!

The hotel itself is very good. Unfortunately the location is on a busy noisy road. At check out the staff suggested a different room on the opposite side of the building. My husband and I only stayed one night but a good night’s sleep is still important. The staff at this location was very helpful and friendly.

We enjoyed our stay at the Hampton Inn Raynham-Taunton. The room was nice and clean. The hotel was clean. The breakfast area offered a lot of choices. The hotel was centrally located to places we wanted to visit. We will likely stay there again the next time we visit Massachusettes.

Hotel is run down and old. Smells like mold. They did a recent renovation…just lipstick on a PIG. Wouldn’t recommend it unless absolutely necessary. Don’t book here through a third party front desk hates 3rd party reservations. You will not be treated well.

I booked the 2-queen room for my 6'2 son and myself. When I checked in, the reception said they received from Expedia as one King. Because it is 9:20pm, we have no choice to check in. Next day, when I spoke to another reception, he said in their system, it was recorded as we agree to change the room due to cleaning reason. This is totally wrong. I require a investigation from Expedia to the Hampton. What wrong with your people there?

Decent, no frills hotel
My only complaint was that my key card would only work once and I'd have to go back to the front desk every time to get a new key. Thankfully the staff was super nice and there was always someone at the front desk. I was only there for a night, but it was kind of annoying. Otherwise everything else was great. Room was clean and the location was convenient.

Unfortunately, our room had apparently housed smokers right before us. It was most unpleasant, especially for sleeping. I notified the desk when we left. We could not change rooms because we left immediately for a wedding and it was late when we returned. Our check-in was delayed because of short-staffing in the cleaning staff, but it worked out okay with some scrambling to get ready to go to the wedding.

Fridge was not working so we had to throw away our foods. My floor was very noisy it was full with kids who were partying. We ordered a room with 2 beds and that’s not what we got.

We loved that there was a sofa bed for extra sleeping room for the kids. The room was very nice and comfortable. The complimentary breakfast and breakfast attendant was the highlight of our stay. Having waffles and everything else imaginable available for breakfast was amazing. Robin the attendant was constantly available and helped my kids and I with everything even while helping greet and keep her dining area and serving area spotless. She didn't even think twice about giving top notch service, it was wonderful!

When I booked the room I was told property had a hot tub. Upon arrival staff stated " I could call Expedia to vomplain or refund if wanted" Was disappointed no hot tub. Heated pool could be warmer.

We checked in on Friday April 29th for the weekend for a basketball tournament. On Friday around 11:45pm someone was trying to enter our room. When I went and opened the door there was a lady stating that this was her room and showed me the room key. I called down stairs to the front desk and she said “ it shows that this room is available” clearly it wasn’t. Bad experience with that . It was very loud for hours past 1am, we did not get sleep and had to be up at 5am. After speaking with other families who were there too said that it was loud and no sleep . Hotel overall was nice and had good breakfast in the AM. Not sure if we will stay here again.

When we were sent to our room we found people already in the room. When we informed the desk we discovered someone had been checked into our room with our reservation. This was especially of concern because our room was prepaid and we had serious concerns about the credit card used for payment and how someone could check into our room without our confirmation number or name. The employee blamed the app and was unapologetic. She was actually quite rude and did not assuage any of our concerns.
