It is very close to the beach. The sector is very quiet. The property is acceptable but not good as it needs maintenance. The bathroom requires more cleaning. We arrived late at night and had nowhere to buy bottled water or a toothbrush. We would not stay again

It was close to the beach and downtown. However, it was 85 degrees and the air conditioning barely blew cool air. The bed was very hard. Therefore we got very little sleep with the hot humid room and hard bed.

Find somewhere else!
Stayed 3 nights; should have left before staying 1! Sister had bug bites, room was overall dirty (beds did seem clean so that was a plus), entire property was old & not kept up, didn't say on site that tiki bar was only open Thu-Sun so couldn't even buy a drink to sit by pool area (although didn't do that much since it wasn't clean anyway), many other things. The WORST was using the hair dryer & it started crackling & sparking in my hands--I dropped it & moved away. Immediately went to front desk & said we need someone right away since it's still plugged in (we weren't going to try to unplug it!). While waiting, it started going & crackling 2 more times. Guy came & unplugged it & asked if I wanted another one. Ummm...no...something is obviously wrong with outlet because what happened should have flipped the breaker thing (whatever it's called that outlets must have in bathrooms & kitchens). They didn’t care. For the price we didnt expect the Ritz, but didnt expect such a run down--and unsafe--place. I do NOT recommend this place! (p.s.-for some reason this site isn't letting me upload photos)

Being 2024, internet connection was limited, with less than adequate signal strength, and reliability! This was a leisure trip, but if it were business, receiving and transmitting data via cell phone or laptop would have been unacceptable! Being listed as a “deluxe suite” was questionable..

I was supposed to have a non-smoking room but it was not. My room had used hairpins on the floor, cigarette burns on the toilet and the sink. The wall hairdryer was broken. My clothes stunk of stale cigarettes and I had to wear these clothes on my cruise the next day. I will never, ever stay again.

Dont stay here. The pics & reviews are why we stayed here. What an overpriced dump. Room was dirty & smelled of mold. Lobby was always locked. Pool was dirty. Shower curtain wouldnt stay in place. Door lock was broken/missing.

the rooms smelled of must and smoke. there were loud people all around the hotel and odd people following close to our room. Rooms had hair in the shower. Smell was awful, beds were cheap and loud, extremely springy and uncomfortable

There wasn’t a safety lock inside like every other door in a hotel room would have u can tell it was broken also the bathroom door I felt like I was staying in one those hotel rooms where you being watch by a camera we. Didn’t feel safe at all but we was in town for a family death check out is 11am at 10:45am as I get dress lady bang on door to see if we leaving where any other hotel they do that around 11:15-11:30 if they haven’t heard from you I we’ll not book here agai

This is a very low grade property that manipulates the numbers online. They literally charged us 1 month prior at $230/ night; only to realize their actually going rate is $75-90.
The property sits in the midst of higher end properties so it was misleading. It’s more of a transient property if anything.
Very disappointing.

The room was in poor condition, they really need to be up dated, bathroom window stuck, rusty lighting fixture, old tiles, old furniture, bathroom door. The floors we're extremely slippery and dirty, and the whole room smelled like BLEACH, even after our two night stay, not good for people with breathing problems. The outside looks like it's well maintained and very clean also great parking. The price was decent, if the floors had been cleaned properly, and the room had no bleach smell at all.

Dirty, Lauded, full of drunk and drugs addicted, the Tiki bar was nasty, glass never been washed and stained, elevator was dirty and smelled, the room stinks, floor was dirty, ceiling is dirty, doors was dirty, service desk was poor and the card keys for the room needs to be replaced every single day sometimes twice a day. Great location but very inconvenience for me.

I don’t like anything about the propert. The room is dirty. The staff is rude. I had to drive down to the place to show my id even though I specified the booking was for someone else and Expedia took the payment anyway

We stayed here as a last minute booking during the Oct22 hurricane and felt well looked after so were pleased to come back.
The check in is friendly and welcoming, the rooms are large and spotlessly clean, the beds comfortable and the location is quiet in the evenings. You can walk across the road and get to the stunning beach. Lauderdale on Sea is only a 10mins walk up the road, again with stunning beaches, a good seaside town feel and enough facilities to keep you occupied.
Free parking and included breakfast are a bonus. In many ways nicer than the standard commercial chain hotel offers.

Not once during my 5 day stay did housekeeping come & clean the room. The front office staff was friendly about giving me clean towels & toilet paper. Would have been nice to have them come in at least & sweep the sand off the floor

We stayed early- mid Nov: Property in good location and has a beautiful island-feel with all of their palm landscaping and water fountain feature. Owner/mgr Jana was super accommodating & helpful with finding local transportation & places to visit.
Walking distance to a few places including Ocean Manor that has famous Tiki Bar.
This property has a decent Tiki Bar but was only open Thurs-Sun. Bartender Rich was great tho!
Housekeeping did an excellent job cleaning/ sanitizing.
Beds were very comfortable and pleasantly surprised with the walk- in closet.
The only down- side we experienced was the Grecian restrnt was only open for breakfast.

The property is across the street from the beach. The price is very reasonable for the location. The hotel is an old hotel/motel type place and is just being maintained, only. Staff is very nice. Housekeeping is nice and does a good job of cleaning the rooms. The furniture is old used hotel/motel furniture. The mattress is hard and cheap. Pillows are ok to nice and more than two pillows per bed. The hotel is privately owned .No monies are put into updating the property. You get the feeling the owner is waiting to sell for land value, one day, when the the price is right. I would stay there again, only because of the price, the nice and courteous staff and the location.

Retro hotel/motel.
I liked this older style, retro hotel/motel. For $70/night (before taxes & fees) you can't complain. Clean and comfortable, no frills.
It's located one block from the ocean in a nice residential area on A1A and a couple of blocks from great restaurants.
The outdoor Tiki-bar was cool, great to stop in for a nightcap.
Too bad the Greek restaurant wasn't open, but no worries.

Very good option near the beach (and cheap)
The best thing about the hotel is its location, one block from the beach.
They have free towels, umbrellas and lounge chairs to take to the beach.
The only point I didn't like is that the air conditioning is noisy, because it is a few years old (like the hotel).

Room was cozy only complaints I have the beds were really hard making it uncomfortable and difficult to get much rest
Our room had a microwave however it didn’t work well at all took 3 min to warm up a cup of coffee
Loved the convenience of this place as to having beach access to a relaxing under crowded beach also liked that it was close enough to the action if you wanted to be in it but far enough away from it that you can get away from the noice of it

This property is run down. Restaurants aren’t open. My door handle was broken. It smells like smoke covered up with grandmas perfume. Will not stay again. Did not feel safe and worth the amount paid.

The female checking me in was not very welcoming and offered no additional information about the hotel (Wi-Fi PW, breakfast time/location, etc). The “continental breakfast” was a dried out bagel and a small pack of cookies. There was no creamer for the coffee and their sugar was Saccharine.
The hotel is quite old and the parking situation is very tight with a high potential for another car hitting yours. I would recommend finding another hotel.

Check-in was easy and friendly. Cleaning staff were also very friendly and helpful. Parking was easy and convenient. The Tiki bar was also very convenient, able to have a few drinks while waiting on others to get ready for dinner.

We live in the area and our AC died yesterday so we needed somewhere to stay for the night. This was perfect. The only negative is that there was no coffee pot LOL this girl loves her coffee :)

The place is a bit older but the location is great. It was a bit sketchy on a Sunday night when a bunch of people were outside a room smoking weed. The pool was descent, it could definitely need a deep clean up. Overall, it was a good experience.

10/10 would recommend. We stayed for a week with our two kids, your only about 20 minutes from the airport and your right on the beach. You have a ton of great dining options, shopping, grocery near by, you have a mic and fridge in the room, and your walking distance to the beach. What’s to beat? We will be back!

I booked this hotel last minute late at night after my flight was canceled and I needed a place to stay. I booked it after midnight and arrived about an hour later at around 2 am and didn’t have any issues checking in. The place is clean, relatively quiet, close to the beach and in a safe neighborhood but it needs some updating. The furniture in the room looked like it‘s from the 80‘s. Bed was comfortable though. Definitely great for one night to get some sleep and a shower in the morning.

Nice place for the price. Clean, recently renovated and comfortable bed. Towels were old, little noisy being right off the road, but it does have an outdoor bar. But it’s just open Thursday- Sunday I think. Continental breakfast was a joke and the restaurant wasn’t fully open. Order delivery from Beach pizza. 5 !

It served our purpose but wouldn’t return. Bed very hard, had to request towels only 2 in room, lobby check in made me feel like area was unsafe- it was a walk up window. Lobby permanently closed- small opening to pass credit card- hard to have a conversation - pool ok - property is older - walk to beach not convenient

I like the location of the hotel. It would have been useful to have an on-site laundry facility as well as for ironing. There was also some disturbance coming from work that was being done nextdoor. It would have been courteous if I was notified by the front desk of this work.

Location, location! First, you can’t beat this place if you’re on a budget and want to stay within walking distance of a beach, it’s literally across the street. The hotel has a decent pool and a cute tiki bar area. The room was good sized great air conditioning with a mini fridge, microwave and a safe. There is also great water pressure. Friendly maid service daily was a plus. There is a continental breakfast served daily. If you’re big on breakfast. This is not the place for you. However, if you can get by on coffee, bagel, and a sweet item then by all means book it. There are lots of food options nearby as well. I stayed 3 nights with a six year old and honestly I can’t say anything negative. It met our needs. Check in was a breeze and so was check out. A deposit is required for incidentals like most hotels. Overall, I can recommend a stay here. If you’re looking for luxury or boutique look else where.

This hotel is an excellent option for its price, location and cleanliness. It’s directly across from the beach which is convenient if you want to come back to room while at the beach. It’s a short Uber 10$ ride to the nearby bars and nightlife. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. There is a continental breakfast which was just enough..bagels coffee and apple sauce with cookies. Since im a big coffee drinker this is a bonus. Check in was extremely simple. I don’t you will find better value elsewhere and get this cleanliness or location.

Very easy check in and the front desk personnel was friendly. I was not expecting a 5 star hotel so I was not disappointed- the rooms were clean and just what we needed just to sleep. Bathroom is a bit tight but also not a problem for us but may be for someone heavier. Breakfast hours is short only from 8:30-10:00 am but we didn’t eat breakfast there so not a big deal. We were overall happy with it. Easy walk to Lauderdale by the sea beach!
