Our goto spot
So as always the staff took care of me like i am family,As with any hotel room there were a couple of little things that could have been better but they impacted our stay not at all.The restaurant here has really good food very fairly priced and the pool is small but warm .All in all a bargain and a vastly underrated hotel!

We were 1st provided a room where house keeping hadn't made the beds (around 7pm). The front desk staff were friendly and great for the duration of our stay. The tub drain in our 2nd room was clogged and house keeping started pounding on our door and woke us up around 9:15 am when check out is at 11 am. Overall, house keeping staff need some work, but the hotel as a whole was decent.

Long strands of black hair all over the sheets in the bed; desk was not clean - overall room cleanliness was poor. No credit given for the inconvonience. Also prepaid for breakfast which I was not able to use because no one told me breakfast shut off at 10AM - also no credit given when asked. Also pool was not available as it was being maintained for a couple days - no advance notice of this.

Was disappointed how crowded pool was with children. I figured I would go before 10pm closing. Pool closed 2 hours early for “maintenance”. Really disappointed had no tables for one at attached bar/restaurant. It was suggested I sit at the bar. Bar was 2 deep no seats. Made no effort to accommodate me.

Friendly stay comfy bed!
High praise for Meg and Megan they are very welcoming. Room needs up grades. Basic things, light bulb in bathroom, silverfish in shower, usb ports didn’t work. Breakfast was good! The host was terrific! Comfy bed! Hot shower, though handle was loose.

I would like to say that your front desk staff were polite and courteous. Upon arrival one of the beds had several long strands of dark hair in between the sheets. We removed them ourselves deciding it must be from the cleaners. The bathroom had a consistent mild foul odor throughout our stay. Both of these issues we found irritating but not something to make a big deal about. However, the following morning while walking my dog I found a used needle. It was where I had been consistently taking her out to use the bathroom since our arrival. At least six or seven times I had done this. Several times in my slippers. It was not visible because it was dark. However in the morning it was. In fact my dog was standing almost on top of it when I noticed it. This may not be something you have complete control over, but it was completely unacceptable since I also had two children with me and one of them had taken the dog out herself. When I reentered I immediately notified your front desk staff. She apologized and called someone to clean it up. I didn't expect a whole lot, but I certainly expected a response that matched this severity of the situation. Especially since I told her I had been walking my dogs there and she just said I'm sorry. Which is a valid response. But nothing that matched the situation. Do not ask if she could do anything for me. Did not ask if myself, my daughter, or my dog had been poked by it. Nothing. That is appalling.

Our shower didn't work - no water, twisting knob, finally some freezing water, then it spins around, can't turn it off. Took at least 10 minutes of spinning the handle to get some warm water, called downstairs, we had to check out and couldn't shower and couldn't turn off the water, they won't refund or credit us as we used a 3 rd party.

The service was impeccable. Jared at the front desk warmly welcomed us. I would suggest doing something to keep the air from blowing against the desk. In winter is must be freezing there.
We ate at the sports bar in the hotel. Again the service was excellent. Ainsley was our server and she brought what we ordered and always had a smile on her face.
Overall, the stay was pleasantand I would definitely recommend the Crown Plaza.

The drain in the tub was slow. When I notified the lady working at the front desk she looked at me like I had two heads on my shoulders. I booked the room for three nights (11/17-11/20) but ended up only needing it for two nights and they couldn’t check me out due to I booked through Expedia and wouldn’t give me a refund. I left the hotel at 7am on 11/19 and wasn’t checked out until 11/20.

Stayed on the ground level but its super quiet. Enjoyed the pool! Ate at the restaurant several times. The pub style food was ok. I'd stay there again.

Staff was great, room was clean and comfortable, some outlets to charge devices didn't work.
Wish there was a menu for the bar/restaurant with their events, TV was minimum chanels.
No microwave either.

There are too many other hotels in the area to waste your money on this rather unprofessional and dirty hotel.
The daily cleaning was minimal with the waste baskets never being emptied and a soiled dirty tissue on the floor at near the head of my bed there when I arrived and still there when I left.
The body wash container for showering was never filled after repeated requests so I had to use shampoo to wash with instead of body cleanser/soap.
There was a nice kitchen area with no dish soap or any type of serving, eating or utensils and equipment. I had to use the dish in the microwave as a plate.
Go somewhere else.

Clean, quiet & efficient. A light blew out in the shower during my stay, maintenance came to replace the bulb within an hour, front desk staff were pleasant and followed up to ensure that the bulb was replaced.

There was an elevator out of service but it was boarded up with wood and had caution tape etc over/around it. It made it look like something had happened which maybe it had? Plant based shampoo and soap did not work great

I needed to extended by night however the gentleman who I spoke to the boarding of my checkout didn't see the extended stay that I had confirmed the night before so that was a little communication problem and a very big problem for me as I had to go to the hotel

Clean and staff was courteous and very helpful. The only glitch was in the elevator: access to 4th floor is by room key which gets swiped in a reader within the elevator. It took many tries to get the reader to work with my key.

Decent hotel for a short stay. It’s not fancy but it’s not low budget either. It was basic and I enjoyed my stay. The staff was friendly. The adjoining restaurant was not good. Poor service & the food was blah. That’s not the hotel’s fault. The location is a bit removed from other conveniences but I had a car so I was mobile.

We were under the impression there was a shuttle to the closest T station. There wasn’t.
We chose this hotel because of the pool. We should have been notified that the pool was closed as it needed repair. It was finally fixed the day we were leaving. Staff were courteous when our room flooded because of the rain, but overall no compensation was offered.

We absolutely love this hotel - 2nd time staying - this time a little longer & thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Specifically the bed (standard king room) was incredibly comfortable! So much so my husband & I are trying to replicate it for our home. Definitely the most comfortable bed we’ve had in a hotel.
They are also very accommodating - on the day of check out there was a water maintenance issue & because of that they let us check out 2hr later which was very convenient.
Will definitely be returning anytime we’re coming to visit the Boston area & highly recommend to anyone.

We stayed at this property for one night. Every hotel inside Boston was $300 and up per night. Our stay was better than expected and would stay here again. It was a very busy weekend and the hotel was fully booked, but everything went smoothly.

Our body wash was empty upon arrival and remained empty even after we had the room serviced. There was trash in the tub and we never had trash can liners. The sheets and pillows were extra soft and appreciated.

Beds and sofa beds
Two queen-sized beds are not interchangeable with a king and a sofa bed. We three adults are mid 70’s and need beds. Hotel tried to convince us that we had to take the sofa bed instead of what we bought through Hotels.com because there is no guarantee of bed styles. It’s their marketing company, for Pete’s sake. Clerk told me not to be rude with them as they were trying to help me. She had just told me she couldn’t help me because they were fully booked. We checked in about 6 pm. I asked if everyone else, then, had already checked in. She finally decided to switch rooms and give us the double queen we had paid for. I didn’t need that argument after a full day on the road. If you are using a marketing vendor, you need to clarify exactly what you are selling and synchronize your technology so that you and the buyer both know what’s being sold. They wouldn’t even make the sofa bed for us. They would only give us the sheets. I am still angry about it. It’s such a beautiful hotel, and the bed was great. It’s a shame that this had to happen.

A stunning hotel for the price! The room was exceptional with comfortable king size bed and a super clean bathroom. My stay was very enjoyable and felt safe. The lobby attendants were very helpful and friendly. Highly recommend Crown Plaza Boston!!

Very nice hotel, beds, pillows, and linens all very comfortable. Front desk staff was polite and friendly. Only 2 things, we had to go to the front desk to request towels, and the side door to exit slams very loudly. Woke me up a couple times during our 4 night stay.
