I like this place. Quite a bit actually. They work hard to keep it nice. Other hotel guests are friendly. Beds are super comfy. Walk to a handful of restaurants. It’s perfectly good!

It was inexpensive, well lit and the staff was wonderful. The bed felt brand new. I'm not a huge fan of the pine sol smell but I had a great experience for the price.

Checking in was really smooth and effortless mind you there's a $50 deposit also I like that there were no unauthorized visitors which kept the property really safe and quiet. Not to complain but my coffee maker wasn't cleaned out in the room

The building is rather old, the faucet in our bathroom was coming off the wall and a pile of bricks would have been more comfortable than the bed we slept on, however, the room was very spacious. Amenities were walking distance away.

Staff great. Had to keep extending stay which came to almost 3 weeks. VERY stingy with towels. Understandable for type of motel but couldn’t even get one extra towel. Breakfast, you chose; banana usually overripe, mini muffin package usually stale, and Sunny Delight. Overall, you get what you pay for.

Wont be staying again
I stay here in Sept, and I have to say there is a policy of no smoking or drugs but its was being done in front of us and the room was smelling like marijuana yuk. I have small children with me. The bed I slept on was very broken and the lighting in hallways was very dim and I was highly disappointed! The night clerk was nice.

Not bad for the price but not good for families.
It's not a bad hotel for the price and provided the minimal comforts I expected for the price. The rooms were basic and clean. The staff were nice and helpful. There where two major downsides for a family staying there. The first is that the hotel appears to rent out rooms for people to live in which means you have some "interesting" people hanging out in the small parking lot at all hours. The second is that the area appears to be a red light district of sorts with blatant working girls scantily clad in the streets. It makes for some interesting conversations with the kids. The hotel does not appear to support those activities but they are still present.

The breakfast was not very sufficient, all they offered was a paper bag with boiled eggs, a few mini muffins and a sunny delight.
The bedroom was nice, quiet and adequate for our stay, the only complaint was the placement of the television, it was on the wall near the front door instead of being directly in front of the bed or desk even though there was space on the wall to do so

Will never stay here again.
The room was cute. It really needed to be updated. The toilet handle was broke, we had to take the back off to flush. The plug for the tv was bent, we had to fix it to watch tv. We couldn’t close the window which was scary being on the bottom floor. The shower head was just sticking out of a hole in the wall, bugs could get in. We also had to plunge the toilet because it kept clogging up. It was just a dirty room in general.

The location was great for the pickleball tournament being held at Shoreview Park. Upon entering my room, I was blasted with an overwhelming and sickening smell of disinfectant and I'm not sensitive to smells. I kept the window open the whole time and the smell did not dissipate much. The gentleman who checked me in was very nice and helpful but the man who checked me out has a natural scowl and a smile would have gone a long way. Upon conversing with him, he turned out to be fine and cordial. Housekeeping did not service my room on the 2nd day and the desk said they were short staffed. The rooms are really outdated, stank of disinfectant, and overpriced but again, the location suited my needs.

The room was clean and had been updated fairly recently. The mattress was comfortable, but had a noisy vinyl protector under the sheets, so every time I moved while sleeping I would wake up. The "continental breakfast" was choices of a hard boiled egg, granola bar, tiny muffins, and banana, and sunny-delight to drink. You must place the order for those items the night before. When I arrived to pick up my breakfast at 7:15AM, the office door was locked. When I was allowed inside, everything in the bag was room temperature, including the egg and the Sunny-D. There was no fresh coffee, though there was a coffemaker in the room. Overall my stay was fine, just not spectacular.

The first room had such a strong odor of cleaner, it was not acceptable. The second room was better, but the odor of the cleaner lingered in the hallway. The people cleaning the rooms are using way too much. Even if they use less, the odor is still objectionable. It is not a real breakfast but rather breakfast snacks that you must order the night before.

The room had a microwave that the cord couldn't reach to the outlet. I had to move the microwave onto a different table in order to use it, then I opened it up, to find there was food crusted all over the inside of it. EW.
Additionally there was hairs in the bath tub.
The staff however were very friendly.

I felt like I was in prison checking in, lots of security tvs and the people are behind a window and you have to get buzzed in. It was quiet and not a bad room except the hallway had a strong disinfectant smell. Once again, we only had fresh towels with 3 days of stay and only one washcloth for 2 people. The only issue is there were prostitutes coming and going with their tricks. At lest they were very nice looking ladies. The drink machine didn’t work and if you wanted snacks you had to walk or drive somewhere.

Wouldn't stay more than 1 night
My room was looking pretty run down and in need of some attention. The air freshener they left in the room was so strong and overwhelming that it gave me a headache. Worst of all was the rock hard bed, which was impossible to get comfortable.
On the flip side, the staff were very friendly & nice.

Great experience
We had an overnight stay after a cruise and the staff were amazing and accommodating when we asked for early check in. They were very busy but got us checked in right away. Room was clean and comfy. Would very much recommend this hotel.

Honestly, was her for a couple days and what i saw is alot of prostitution going on. Definitely dont recommend this place to stay. NEVER AGAIN staying here. I honestly felt like leaving the first day because i witnessed multiple things. Thats why its very cheap. You get what you pay for

Better than It Looked
This is a budget, inner-city motel, which is not a high recommendation. However, the staff was very nice and the room was immaculate. The amenities were minimal but that was expected at a budget motel. Overall, I had no complaints and was satisfied with my stay.

The young lady who greeted me at the desk was very helpful and cheerful.
But I was very concerned about the constant noise that goes on in the hotel all night long. Doors slamming, people knocking on doors, loud talking and laughing in the hallways. This went on all night long all three nights I stayed there.

Frustration and potential danger re:room door!
Staff was repeatedly helpful with my attempts to unlock room entry door. I did not request another room since (even though room appeared in ok order, I had cleaned all touchable surfaces with Clorox disinfective wipes and did not want to spend more time (family visits in Seattle area already scheduled). Checking out after 2 night stay (3rd floor room), I was then unable to open door from inside! My immediate thought was great danger of no escape if a fire occurred. I did finally succeed and stopped at desk to report this added door-related problem and was told maintenance person was already aware. I thanked staff for kind assists over 2 night stay and asked for name/phone of owner company since planned to request refund for one day those two problem stays...would have checked out after first night except for family commitments!

Horrible customer interaction and service. The whole hotel stinks like stale cigs, the stairs have never seen a vacuum or broom- everything is completely filthy. And they have the nerve to charge you $2.00 if you loose your key! This place is honestly a disgrace, even for the price. Expedia should remove this listing from their website.

Room was missing a stand for the microwave. There was obvious damage done to the room.
They didn't refund my deposit. Claimed I smoked. My girlfriend admitted to burning bay leaves. My little new ager. What upset me was that they didn't notify me of their decision. Went out the following night. Probably would of made different choices if I was aware. They had my phone as well as an email address. I didn't even get a chance to explain myself.

No service hotel in Shoreline, WA
The room on arrival smelled so strongly of ammonia that the Windows HAD to be opened before it was tolerable to enter. On the second morning, I called the front desk to ask for additional towels and blanket as well as 3 burnt out litebulbs replaced. This was 10 AM. When I arrived at 10 PM, the room had not been cleaned and not one request had been taken care of. It was 25 min. after my call before towels and other requests were brought up. Horrible and unforgivable service.

The room’s appearance was decent - nice floors and TV and the bed was fine. However, the lamp didn’t work, the smoke detector had been ripped off the wall and the room smelled like a smoker lived there and why trying to hide it with car air fresheners. My clothes and bag smelled of this when I left the next morning

It was clean only good part. You can hear through the walls and the shower is built wrong to cause water damage and black mold to possibly form if not fixed the ventilation wasnt good in the small bathroom. Also never got my $50.00 rebate i was sapose to get

It is difficult to find the entry to the property. This is an older property that has been updated and may have been added onto. The young lady at the front desk was very nice and helpful. The room was clean and met my needs.
