Quite possibly the worst experience I’ve ever had in my life. I chose the hotel due to its low cost and proximity to family I was visiting in town, but never in a million years did I think it would be this bad. Used needles in our room, dirty rooms, rude and mostly absent staff. Literally go anywhere else. This place should be shut down.

Quick stop in Austin...
When I first opened the door - the first thing I saw was two bugs, scurrying across the kitchen area. I squashed them quick, so that my wife wouldn't say anything....the beds were not very comfortable & the shower didn't look very clean. The check-in was nice. The young man was pleasant but the swipe machine for the card had issues. I had to swipe several times. I was charged extra for my dog to stay. We were on the 3rd floor & it smelled like cigarette smoke. I had asked for a floor closer to the ground - but I guess they either didn't have the availability or that's where pets go...?? Either way - not much for the lobby. There was some coffee, a soda machine & snack machine. It's no frills place.

DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY
Easily the grossest hotel I’ve been to. A motel would have been better and that says something. When we first got there, nobody was even up front he was tucked away in a back room for 5 minutes before coming to help us and was very monotone the whole time. Walking down the hall just smelled musty. The elevator was so dingy I was terrified it was going to break. There was mold covering the ceiling in the bathroom. The entire room smelled like cigarette smoke. I didn’t even want my bare feet touching the floor. The shower itself was nasty. The windows were broken. Everything is worn and outdated. Then outside there was a bunch of sketch people hanging around, making me more uncomfortable. NEEDLESS TO SAY, My boyfriend and I didn't end up staying, luckily we were able to crash with some friends in an Air B&B. If you made it this far, ALWAYS check reviews people because I will not be making that mistake again. Spend the extra money for somewhere clean and safe.

One of the worst hotel in Research Blvd.
Very disappointing. Especially the room looks outdated and not clean. For the price, it is the worst. Not at all good customer service. They offer utensils and when you ask for them they say that they do not have them. Also, you have to request towels and toilet paper. The TV control did not work. Really was a disaster. I deserve credit for that room.

The staff member who checked me in was very nice. Outside of that I have nothing good to say about this property. It was dirty, old, run down and didn’t feel like a safe place to stay. On top of that they did not offer any kind of breakfast this morning (Sunday) and yesterday the grab n go breakfast consisted of only a granola bar. I took a ton of pics, there were hair wads behind the bathroom door, furniture that didn’t function and or was missing drawers, the sheets had stains.. it was just bad

Do not stay here.
Let me begin by stating at check-in the front desk clerk did everything he could to fix the issues I encountered. Otherwise, this was an extremely disappointing stay. The first two hours there were no lightbulbs in the room. The clerk alerted me that their shipment had not come in and he would check out of service rooms for bulbs. Next, the room key would not work and no it was not next to a cellphone. I had to keep walking to the desk to reprogram the key, sometimes three or four trips. The vent in the bathroom had a very loud rattle, the tub had some kind of residue near the drain and the sink dripped continuously. Every piece of furniture looked like they scavaged it from the side of the road. There was dried condiments stuck to the table and the only chair was disgusting and filthy. The bed was a cot frame not attached to the headboard so the bed lifted every time i got in it. There was hair everywhere and old food under the couch. I will not be staying there again.

This place checks every block on the “places I’d never stay again” list. The room we were assigned already had someone in it. It smelled bad. It seemed unsafe. I was worried my car would get broken into. The people in the lobby and outside smoking made it look like a rehab facility. As we cancelled and we’re leaving, a nice woman staying there congratulated us for “escaping”. I’m only rating this a 1 because there is is no 0.

Hotel was in poor condition. Only one vending machine in the hotel and it was broken but with no sign saying it was so. So the only place to get water was from the sink in your room or leave the hotel. The hotel appeared to be understaffed, and while the one gentleman who was working was kind, he seemed to have a lot on his plate and was forgetful. We initially had to go back down after we got to our room and there was no sleeper couch even though we had booked a room with a sleeper couch. We asked him for the next available comforter for the pullout couch and he forgot to save us one. We got back after a concert and the only available comforter we had to wait for, and it was covered in hair. It was difficult to get the room cool to sleep in as the window unit was not doing very much. Upsides were the hotel was fairly inexpensive and I did not feel unsafe where we were.

I was walking to the front desk for some necessities and over heard a couple fighting. You could hear someone chamber a gun and a man saying "oh so you're going to kill me b**ch" then sounded like he tossed her across the room. Crazy. Also, there are pitbulls being walked around with NO LEASH. Cops are in and out of this area. The breakfast is grab and go. Only consist of muffins, bars, and oatmeal. The rooms are half cleaned. Roaches crawl from out of the drains. Hallways smell like marijuana and cigarette smoke. Paint is chipping from the tubs. Furniture isn't up to par. Not worth the money for what they offer.

Convenient location to the Domain. The room left a lot to be desired, bugs in the shower, clogged toilet, vinyl flooring coming up, water pipes when someone showers in next room sound like a freight train. I would gladly pay the extra $25 for a better room elsewhere.

Avoid this place!
Very sketchy place. You would have to call on the phone to get someone to show up at the front desk. Homeless people wandered in and out of the place. Worn out/stained carpet, leaky toilet, screens missing on windows, natty looking blanket, mediocre bed. Breakfast was prepackaged muffins and cereal bars.

The transgender staff person grossed me out.
Homeless people lingered on the grounds around the hotel.
Lamps on either side of bed didn't work.

The place was dirty and wreaked of smoke, DOES NOT have a pool. Sheets and blankets were thin. Fixtures were in disrepair. Probably OK if you're transient or desperately poor. If you have any self-respect or standards, don't stay here you'll be sadly disappointed.

I booked this hotel for the purpose of the pool since my kids are out for the summer but it was recently covered up with cement. The rooms/furniture are very outdated but the staff is extremely nice.

Do NOT EVER stay here. I stayed from 5/6/2023-5/26/2023. Every day I found caterpillars/centipedes crawling through my room. I thought it was me or my dog bringing them in for a while, so I never mentioned anything, which is on me. however, the biggest problem I have is the fact that when I left, I accidentally left a pair of $300 Ariat boots under the table and didn't realize it until the next day. When I called the front desk about it, they acted clueless but said they'd do an investigation to see what happened. There was a camera right outside my door so I know they know what happened. It has been almost 3 weeks and nobody has called me back or answered the phone since then. I'm currently on hold for a total of 20 minutes trying get an answer but nobody is answering the phone. Do NOT stay here if you have ANYTHING of personal or monetary value.

The hotel was nice but the hallways could use some vacuuming. You could see some guests were long term because they would visit each other in their rooms. The clerk seemed over whelmed upon check in and the morning clerk seemed to be engaged in long conversation with long term guests. Shampoo would be a welcome feature.

The man at the desk checked us in efficiently and was great. However, this is the worst hotel in the area, according to two police officers and an ems that showed up that evening. We were told police show up almost nightly at that location. The bathroom had some kind of splatter matter everywhere, and a dead roach stuck in the air vent. The kitchen area seemed clean, but there were crusty subsistences stuck to the walls. Also, let's not forget the name Lexi etched into the ceiling above the bed. We did not stay, we checked out after we saw the condition of the room. The pictures online are incredibly misleading. Pool is also out indefinitely "at this time". They were breaking apart concrete or something?

Hotel had a foul order we came hours away to check in early and the receptionist refused for us to check in. We went to a hotel down the street and had no problems but this hotel I wouldn't ever stay out didn't seem clean and very bad odor. Didn't stay there due to the receptionist being so rude.

The property had trash all around the building. It was suppsed to be a non smoking room and all night all we could smell was cigarette smoke. With my 2 year old son being allergic to cigarette smoke and has asthma...it was not a good fit for us. Thank goodness we brought his extra inhaler. The pictures on the website are very misleading. The property is very old and in the pictures it looks new and updated.

We were given another persons room which explains why our room key did not work. The concierge gave us his “master key” so we could get in/out of the room. The room door looked as if it had been broken into. When asked about it the concierge said he had reported the door and was waiting on it to be fixed. There were no towels available and when we asked for them we were told it would take 4-5 hrs. The hotel smelled like cigarettes and weed. The doors around the hotel were left propped opened by bricks. My family and I felt completely unsafe the entire time.

We had to wake up the staff to check us in. The rooms were filthy. There were pawprints of a dog on the sheets. The inside of the dishwasher was covered with mold. The cooking stove wasn't even plugged up. We were told that check-out was 11:00 and staff was banging on our door at 10:00 telling us to leave. We were already packing.

Nasty Hotel & Prostitution Ally!
When I made this booking I made it for a Queen with a couch, when we were about an hour out or so I called to let them know we will be arriving a little after 11 but we are still coming. The lady that answered the phone was snappy,okay so what can I help you with. I repeated it again that we are coming but going to be late. Well we arrived and I got everything handled at the desk. Go find a parking in the back and make it to our room. It wasnt what I booked and it was DIRTY! We found someones phone under the chair that we reclined back. The room smelled of smoke and the halls smelled of weed. The carpets we nasty and sticky. The husband went down to get a new room and he seen a man covering himself and a lady up (his waist area and her fully) in the breakfast area to have pleasure. Then another lady called someone and said I am done he was pleased while putting money in her pocket. We moved rooms and got a king bed with a pullout couch, it was alot cleaner and didnt smell to bad BUT there was roaches! Searched for roach spray the next day and sprayed our room down. Neither rooms had the kitchen stuff, which we were going to use until we saw how dirty the rooms were. Both rooms only had one set of towels/washclothes/no hairdryer and when we asked for more we literally got one towel nothing else. Guest let the pets poop in the walking area so you might step in it. Only good thi g about this hotel is it is close to restaurants other then that NEVER AGAIN! Don't waste your money!

The place is clearly understaffed, everytime we went to the front desk no one was there and we had to wait several minutes before someone attended us.
We had to cut our stay short. There were people in other rooms smoking despite this being a free smoke property. This caused the fire alarm to go off 3 times in the middle of the night. At this point we decided to leave and ask for a refund.
We didn't get a full refund even though we barely stayed in the property. We payed 210 DLLs for our stay and we're refunded 99 DLLs. The manager in the property didn't even speak to us, she insisted on doing everything through the phone even though we both were in the property. When she gave us the refund she only threw a piece of paper to us and left.
Terrible experience, I will never be staying in any property of this chain again and would not recommend anyone staying.

The whole hotel is run down and dirty. It is not appealing to the eye and the room was filthy. Had a dirty sock on the ground in the bedroom but that was nothing compared to the run down interior. The website is VERY deceptive and you should be ashamed of yourself!!

dirty, roaches, & neglect. i showed up around 1045pm to check in (to the room i already paid for) to find that they had given away my room and the only available rooms were not quite clean. i was exhausted & said if they will finish cleaning the following day i will suck it up for one night. they never came to clean it nor did i see any employees for the remainder of my stay. after i showered german roaches began emerging from all the drains in the room. when i went to go complain instead of finding staff at the front desk in the lobby i found several homeless people camped out for the night.

Kind suite with sofa bed
Hotel staff was friendly. However the pillows were flat, the bed sheets had holes in them. I had a suite room with a king bed and sofa bed reserved, no extra bedding was provided. The sink and tub were dirty. Overall room did not have a cleanliness feel or smell.

I am blind, and I got no help at all from these people to even try to check in, I was told that they didn’t have a room for me and no reservation for me and I got church room anyway what the hell! Despite showing my Expedia confirmation!!!

I'm a pretty lenient person, but I felt it necessary to comment. There were more transient activities in this area. There was trash in the stairwells with socks and clothes, the doors at the exits were propped with rocks so people were going out to smoke or drink. There were a couple of cars with flat tires in the parking lot. Worst of all for me, my room smelled like dirty socks. The staff was assuming and the building was tired and torn. I had to ask for toilet paper as long as another guest. It was a quiet area with some familes and partiers. I won't be back. Thank God they had coffee in the morning. I checked out at 5am whereas they said throw the card in the clear bucket. There was no clear bucket and they were just telling me on the phone. I left with my card because it was still active. Like I said, I am pretty lenient and worked in hotels for 20 years. This topped as the worst for me. I've stayed in better border hotels in Texas. That was a hard 135 bucks. Didn't sleep well. Worried about my car.

Worst hotel I have seen in all of my years on this Earth. The entire place smells like feet and cigs. The fact that they say it’s a smoke free hotel is offensive to the chain smokers who have made the place their home for years. Outside of the filth and smell, shady guest seem to love just sitting in the hallway at odd hours of the night. To top it off on my last night the fire alarm went off twice at 2 am and 6 am and there was two visits by paramedics to the property. Fun times

This hotel is on the cheaper end. Service is poor. No one is at the desk very often. I had to ask for toilet paper more than once. There’s no garbage can in the room. I’ve asked for one for days, but none ever come.

First, the bed was as comfortable as a trampoline. Second ,the sofa bed did not have sheets on it and a sheets and blanket had to be requested. While breakfast started it at 6:30 am, my family arrived at 8 am and the chairs were on tables and hardly anything was set up or out. It was kind of disappoint. Fortunately, it was just for one night.

Place was dirty, all through the hotel. Room was not fully cleaned. Found trash and a bullet casing in couch. The power outlets did work. There was still trash in the fridge from last tenet. The bed had only sheets no blankets. The management stated they where out of blankets and handed me more sheets. The floors where sticky and trash although the hotel hallways to include the stairway

Won't stay here again
Reception lady was nice and gave us an upgrade to a King room (we booked a queen) because she said she didn't like the rooms available for queens. I can't even imagine what they would have looked like! For the price, we expected a must more updated hotel. Not sure how old this hotel is, but it needs a major uplift!
Looks on the outside and online pics can deceive, unfortunately. I would expect this if we only paid $50 but it was almost double that for 1 night. Won't stay here again.

bathroom tub and sink were clogged; the bathroom tub was not cleaned in years it seems (soap suds, hair etc.). The AC unit was leaking water, found bugs on the floor, to name a few. Also the front desk had no one - had to wait 15 minutes before someone came for check-in.

There were some discrepancies, but nothing that made me want to complain or leave. There were shower tiles that were chipped and other things to note, but I checked-in after a long work day and didn't want to stress about those. Other than that, I got what I needed for a good rest.

I have never written a poor review for a hotel, but feel I must because of the overall filth of the place. I checked into the hotel around 11 p.m. When I entered my room, I noticed it smelled like a sweaty locker room. The stench was so overwhelming, I actually looked under the bed to see if something was dying in the room. And under it, I found an empty aluminum can, trash, and bunches of dirty towels - maybe even socks. I immediately walked downstairs to ask for another room. There was no one at the front desk. A sign said to call "0" for help. I did. No one answered. I didn't remain downstairs because there were several men outside smoking, and, at that hour, I didn't feel safe with no one at the desk. Exhausted after traveling all day to get back to Austin, I returned to the room but didn't sleep in the bed. I couldn't, knowing how filthy it was under the bed. I wiped down the "pleather" sofa and slept on it instead. There also were people in the hallway at midnight talking loudly for more than 30 minutes and the emergency stairs, which was right by my door, opened and closed 16 times during that hour (until 12:30 a.m.) In the morning, I came down around 7 a.m. to talk to someone, but there was still no one at the desk, and still a sign that said dial "0" if you need help. I had to leave to give some workshops, so never got to speak to anyone about the issues. I have stayed at Extended Stays before with no issues, but this one was terrible.

The room smelled very bad of smoke, one of the outlets didn’t have a cover on it. And the bathtub wasn’t clean nor did it have a stopper to be able to have a bath. Our allergies were out of wack the entire time we were there because of the smoke smell.

Avoid this hotel
The bed linens were clean and the bed was comfortable. AC worked well in the Texas heat. However, don't be deceived with the photos posted online, this hotel is NOT like the photos. Listed as a smoke free hotel, unfortunately the entire building smells like people have been smoking here since prohibition (not good if you have allergies) Stains on the carpets, dust. I never saw any cleaning staff. Honestly, I would have left and found another hotel, but it was already midnight when I arrived and I had driven from Louisiana.

Rooms subject to overbooking.
My reservation was honored, but my cousin's was not. Apparently the hotel is subject to frequent overbooking. If you stay there, make sure you check in as early as possible or at least call to insure your reservation is good.

This hotel is in great disrepair and overall is unclean. The pool was chronically locked and unclean. The grab and go breakfast was a joke. Additionally, we had to change rooms x3 times because of broken fixtures, broken lights and uncleanliness. Do not rent a room at this site!!!

This hotel was so disgusting and unsanitary that we had to leave and find a different place to stay. At first we asked to change rooms in the hopes that the first room maybe hadn't been cleaned yet, but the second room was just as bad, if not worse. I was terrified to touch anything or sit anywhere, and my shoes were sticking to the ground. There were crumbs on the ground, grime in the shower, sticky dripping substances on the couch and TV, random pushpins in the walls, globs of yellow liquid on the cabinets, broken furniture and appliances, and a putrid smell that filled the room and hallways. It was shocking that there wasn't a visible infestation of cockroaches or ants.

Do not book here! It is absolutley filthy. Trash on the floor and smells like cigarettes even though it is a smoke free hotel. Killed to roaches and carpets have stains all over them. I would have rather slept in the car with my kids.

Mostly ugliest and un hygienic hotel I ever been. Did nt even clean the trash from previous tenant and also cook top burner does not work, there is stove top and no appliances.

We got what we paid for
It was a decent hotel. Pool was shut down. The bed was a bit small. There’s was an ac unit that was struggling. There was a full fridge, microwave and a stovetop. No trash cans in the room.

Not recommended !
To start off with there’s nobody at the lobby to receive you . We had to wait about 20 minutes with other 3-4 customers trying to check in since the lobby was unattended all the time . The hotel has a bad odor . There’s mold in the restroom.

Room was nicely decorated but a bit worn. No coffee in room. Breakfast was muffins and rolls. Not a very inspiring location

The pictures and rating was completely false. It was awful and disgusting. I booked this place based on reviews and pictures. It was completely misleading and will not recommend.

Don’t bother coming over here
Horrible! I had the reservation, got the confirmAtion. Drove 6 hours for our trip and was told the hotel was over booked and he gave our room away. No notifications, no communication and he was very rude. Young kid at the front desk who sat in the back and look like he rolled out of bed. The area itself was dirty with trash outside the entrance and the lighting was low. Will not be going back

The room had not been cleaned before I check in! I got a non-smoking room that had cigarette butts on the floor. I requested clean linen and the night staff had to wash some because there were no clean ones! Roaches crawled out of the sofa bed and up the wall. I was only there for 4 hours and the manager charged me for a full night.

Dont, just dont stay here
Its ridiculous. I stayed here a few nights. No room service offered for any of my days. Wifi wasn't working. Check in took about 20 minutes because no one was at the service desk. Actually no one was ever at the service desk. Management is terrible.

No one came out to check us in and they were not accepting checkins. Yhey did call us to inform us and they had a hand written sing tell us.
