Quick stay
This was a last minute over night stay. Stephanie was great checking me in! The hotel was great. Room was tidy. Bed was comfortable and had clean sheets and covers. Cookies were amazing. would definitely stay again.

Very unprofessional and dirty. They have faulty electrical equipment that staff knows about, so they do a quick fix to get microwave on 1st floor working. I was told by staff it’s been like that for a while. The only good thing is location is convenient.

There was a festive atmosphere on the property during the evening both nights I stayed. I loved the pumpkin carving competition between departments
My 1st room 414 had been neglected for sometime based on the sheer curtains at the window. The hem had came apart and was dangling below the rest of the curtains. There was old mold on the curtains, wall & window. The room had an unpleasant odor that became very apparent when I switched to another room. The window was so wet I thought it had rained inside the window. The floor was wet by the window and there was a beer bottle cap underneath the bed closest to the window. The other bed had candy that was not cleaned up before the room was given to me. Also the pull pin for the shower came off in my while I was trying to take a shower.
The management was alerted to situation and offered to move me to another room. The least they could have offered a discount on breakfast.

Some Issues-Ok Stay
The hotel’s hall carpet needs a good cleaning. Late night noise (loud talking) by other guest woke me up both nights.
Front desk staff was friendly. Check in went smoothly.

The lobby area was very nice with alot of areas for sitting and relaxing and it looks how i expected compared to other Doubletree's I've stayed at. The frontdesk staff were nice when i checked in .
The room wasn't what I would expect from a Hilton, it didn't have a Microwave, the kleenex container was empty, the thermostat wasn't working properly and on my last day the toilet wasn't working, the bodywash ran out and they passed up my room for cleaning the only day that I saw the cleaning crew .

I've stayed here plenty of times but this will be my last time the room was not clean had bugs the bathroom was not clean had kids running in the hallway overall it was a bad visit.

I guess my room was ok my floor was very noisy the kids was really loud. Which I know kids will be kids. But the manager on the shift at the time was too extra. Me and my kids couldn’t enjoy the pool because he was too busy making sure we had wristbands. Had us get out the water to put them on. When they was sitting in plain site on the table. It got to the point where he stood at the door like security and didn’t let you in if you didn’t have a wristband. I feel that if I’m not getting in the water and I’m fully dress.To watch my kids swim it shouldn’t have been a problem. And that was a HUGE problem. Not cool.

For a four star hotel, the carpet in the hallways and rooms of the hotel were dirty and smelled almost musty. The staff of the hotel were kind and attentive, so that was the reasoning behind the 4 star rating.

The hotel was nice in general and it served a purpose. I skipped breakfast onsite as others did not recommend it. My room was musty and the bed was a little more than regular wear. Despite the hot weather though, the room stayed cool and had necessary essentials.

All in all, the hotel was nice and comfortable. One thing I was surprised by is that the restaurant opens and closes daily for breakfast and dinner--no lunch available. The breakfast options were the same as those offered for FREE at other hotels. Not much more in variety. When the rooms are cleaned, they did not replace the bag in the ice bucket--they left whatever water was in the bag/bucket. Please refill the ice bag and bars of soap when cleaning the room.

The hotel is a 2.5 star at the most! Housekeeping never came and removed trashed or tidied the room. Staff advised that service is not provided daily and to call but they only replenished towels and did not take the soiled ones away. Ended up having a pile of trash and towels in the room during 3 day stay. No thanks!

You need to call the hotel 24 hours before you arrive to set up the airport shuttle. It takes 30-45 minutes to get there! And you need to book you return 24 hours ahead. I did this and they still did not do it. I had a reservation for a return to the airport at noon and they called me at 1157 am and said the driver was delayed and they could not pick me up until 130 pm! I had to get a Lyft in this emergency and it was $30! Nothing like this is acceptable. And we called the day before arrival and they said nothing about making a reservation for pick up. Crazy. The reason we stayed was for the shuttle. It says 10 miles, but really this was minimum of 30 minutes! Beware!

Hotel is fine, but ...
We stayed just one night in order to fly out of Midway early the next morning. The hotel in general was fine, but we found out while checking out that the "free" parking was $10 a day. Had I known that or been told that when booking a room and/or booking the airport shuttle, i probably would have just driven to the airport in the morning and paid for economy parking and saved $180.

It’s an okay hotel, saw some spiderwebs in the room, didn’t do housekeeping, staff was friendly, charged $2 for water in the room, eesh! When checking out, gave me a bill for negative 20 dollars, I said can you please give me a bill for the deposit as well, they said no. Very strange!

Property was clean enough but as soon as we went to sleep around 8:00pm we we woken up to the sounds of rodents chewing and scurrying. Then around 11:00 am we were again woken up by guests loudly shouting and laughing in the hallway. This continued until 1:00am. Bed was not comfortable at all.

The property smelled of weed, and had people staying there that were noisy all night long, and nothing was done about it. There was what sounded like a domestic fight in the hallway outside our room. The staff was very pleasant, and the room was nice, but the security needs to be beefed up. We did not feel safe staying there.

The checkin pro loess was TERRIBLE!! The clerk assigned us (70 age) guests a room that at least a 1/4 mile away from the front desk (room 130)!! When I asked her why she would do that, she just shrugged her shoulders saying ‘it’s the room that popped up’! WTH!! Who does this hat to seniors? So inconsiderate. We insisted on a room that didn’t require such a long walk. She changed it to a room 1/8 of a mile from the front desk! Just CRAZY!!

Thank you for having sandwiches available on Christmas Eve when all the restaurants were closed! I was performing in a few church services that evening and the next morning and needed a close place to stay. I didn't know what I was going to do for dinner and you guys came through. Clean room, great bed and very nice girl at the front desk (I think her name was Stephanie.). Thanks Stephanie for your hospitality. If I play other events nearby, I will stay at your property again!

Family weekend getaway win!
The staff at checkin was so friendly and cheerful, even though it was so late! They had warm cookies for us and made the process a breeze for a tired momma who drove through a blizzard to get there. The foyer was decorated beautifully for the winter. Our room was comfy and clean. The bathroom was very clean. I am 7-months pregnant with 5-year old and the bed was all sorts of comfy for our whole family. Water was for sale in the room but we bought our own due to the high price. Breakfast was hot and tasty, slightly better than your normal hotel buffet fair. The hosts and servers in the lounge/restaurant area were attentive and friendly. The pool was clean and large and my husband enjoyed the fitness center. The room did show its age with some wear and tear around the edges but it was minor and did not detract from the overall experience. Definitely the nicest hotel in the area!
