Everything was great but the room was very warm. They came and fixed it right away. The only other thing was that I left a big fluffy sweater in the wardrobe and called later that day to see if they had it. They told me that no one found it. That just made me sad that it went missing or was thrown away. Everything else was wonderful.

The staff here is absolutely incredible. I can probably count on 2 hands the amount of times in the 20 years I’ve stayed at hotels that staff was this nice & genuinely seem like they care about the job. The rooms were INCREDIBLY clean which is super important. Eat off the carpet clown. What I would say is the hotel could use some updating; as far as room furniture, lobby offerings, etc. Would really make this a destination location, esp with the W and Moxy on the corner. Overall very good experience. Thank you!

Looks are deceiving.
The hotel itself is beautiful and location is perfect. We didn’t sleep much. The music from the nightclub Nextdoor kept us awake, it bumped and rattled our room even on the 9th floor. The mattress was uncomfortable and the pillows were horrible. Definitely not what I expected and considered leaving because it was so bad.
Room was small but clean. This was the worst hotel we’ve stayed at and will not be returning.

Great hotel and staff. It was a 15 minute walk to TD gardens. There is so much to see and explore. We drove from Canada.
The valet parking saved us finding parking on our own. Worth paying to have them park for you. No where to park downtown. Highly recommend.

Happy Staff Makes All The Difference
Everyone from the registration staff to evening bar staff to wait staff and housekeepers were all extremely friendly and seemed happy working there, which you don’t often see. It was a birthday trip for my husband and the stay actually became one of the highlights of the trip and not just a place to lay our heads at night.

Great except poor soundproofing!
We had a great stay- folks were friendly and clean, and it was super convenient/easy walk to the theaters and parking. Our only complaint is that our room had an adjoining door (not sure if they all do) and there was zero privacy/ soundproofing. We could hear our neighbors conversations, tv, snoring very clearly. It was not a big deal, as we were not in the room for very long, but it was a bit disappointing to have to whisper. If this issue could be resolved, it would be a perfect score!

We booked a King Suite and when we entered our room there was only a king bed and it was tiny. There were three of us and we would not have fit. The hotel rectified the room error and put us in the suite I originally reserved. The hotel is located next door to the Shubert Theater which was nice and plenty of eating, bars, etc. Valet parking is an additional $65 on top of room charge and was a bit slow but very friendly. We could hear lots of street noise until very late into the evening despite being on the 15th floor. The heating/ac unit is also very loud. I feel there is a lot of wasted space and the bathroom was nice but I can’t figure why no one puts hooks by the shower so you can hang towel right outside shower. The staff was very accommodating and the overall stay was nice.

Good location.
Thankfully ok for 1 night, wouldn't have wanted to stay any longer.
Mattress sunk to the middle, could hear next door shower at 5am, black out blinds had come off the wall etc. Cracked window.
Room not in great condition.

There is a night club right next door and you can hear the music late at night. I was able to sleep with no problems but you can hear music thru walls.

Overall my stay was mediocre, what the hotel fails to mention is that it’s located right next to/on top of a night club. During one of the nights of my visit the music was so loud (my room was on the 9th floor) that I was continuously woken up by the noise. Also the music and vibrations were so loud that it kept knocking my room phone off the receiver which led to me be woken up by the dial tone because the phone automatically switches to speaker phone when the phone is off the receiver, it was so bad I had to unplug the phone.

Fince but VERY LOUD
Most aspects of the stay were fine, but from 2:00-3:30am the noise outside of the hotel was so loud that the windows were vibrating. It sounded like there was a live concert outside. When we called the front desk, we were told that the "clubs were letting out and this was typical". If this is the case, then I would expect there to be sound proofing, I dont know how anyone would be expected to sleep at that hotel.

Overall the property was fine and the staff was nice. There was a mix up with asking for a cot and it not being able to fit it in the room we had. So the staff said they could move me to a bigger room, no extra $ great. Except then they said the carpets had to be cleaned and were drying and it would be ready "soon" soon turned into hours. We went out and came back and while it was ready, an industrial sized fan was blasting and the room REEKED of chlorine. It was late and we were tired or else I would have insisted on moving. Had to call to ask them to remove the fan, bring the cot and bring a remote that was not there..siiigh.

This was not our first trip to Boston however our first time staying at the Courtyard Marriott and I have to say I was extremely disappointed. Room was very small and rundown, mattress very lumpy, no safe, no minibar, extremely noisy from the bar next door and could not open shades because the rooms across could see right in! Definitely not worth the price I paid.

Rooms extremely small and too noisy, to the point we have to ask do change rooms. You could hear the street noise from the window, and from the door you could hear the elevator and people chatting on hallway.

For the price, you'd think that parking would be inclusive but that's not the case. $60 per night is a joke, especially if your staying in the hotel.
Our bathroom door never closed and my wife hurt her arm trying to close it. Called about it and they came on the last day to fix it. So roughly two nights and days of using the restroom and shower with the door open.
I'd look around at other places that are more reasonable in price and have bigger rooms with working doors and cheaper parking.

Room was a bit small for 3 people. We stayed on 9th floor City views obscured by dirty windows. Bartender was very efficient & friendly & professional. We paid much more though Expedia than when we were noted when we arrived. The hotel said they couldn't adjust when reserved through a third party and did not mention we could contact Expedia for a price reconciliation. The mirror, beds, and bedding were not up to par for the value of hotel cost which netted our to over $500 a night the first night. The hotel lobby was pretty, it was a good location and the staff was kind, but the only available parking was very expensive at $60/night as well.

The room was beautiful and clean.Staff was friendly and helpful. There was no tv remote in the room so they sent a technician who actually had to connect something in the television. He had to come back again because the remote wasnt working properly; it wouldn't turn off the tv or adjust the volume. The technician brought a new remote. They were all very accommodating.

There was insanely loud music blasting from the street at 3 am for the longest time. We were on the tenth floor and it was so loud. Why didn’t hotel staff call the cops?? Terrible night sleep because of it.

A Great Hotel in Boston!
We came up for a week stay in Boston and were very pleased with staying here. We had a newborn and the hotel staff were very accommodating, providing a crib in the room for us immediately.
The room was clean and quiet. Breakfast was great and easy. All the staff were incredibly kind!
The location is great too, easy to walk to many restaurants and cafes. Just a few minutes from Boston Common and the T station.

We just heard people having “fun” all night. Oh, and loud drunken stumbling around. The alarm went off for 20 something minutes at 5:45 am… in the room next to us, with no one in it. There was mold in the shower. The room just didn’t look clean. I wouldn’t recommend. We were only there to see a show. Should’ve spent more to stay ANYWHERE else. Lesson learned.

I was very pleased to find out that the hotel could store my luggage until I picked up my car from valet parking even after I had checked out of the hotel. Wonderful service. The hotel was easy to get to from I 90 and very easy to get back to the highway from there.

Location is it's biggest selling point being walking distance to Boston Common and having a subway station across the street.
Rooms - especially the bathroom - were small and the doors were heavy and shut with a heavy SLAM. On a related note, there was a noticeable gap between the top of the door and the corresponding frame (which made hallway noise worse).

Me and my boyfriend went there for my birthday. My boyfriend told the guy at the front desk that it was my birthday and he upgraded our room to a city view room, as a birthday gift on his behalf. He was really nice to us got us a list of bars and restaurants divided by districts. We only talked to him but the whole staff seems really nice. I will definitely stay here again. 5/5

I had never stayed here before and had to be at Tufts Eye Clinic across the street for an early appointment. It was very pleasant staying here and the desk personnel were very nice. The room was quite small as was the bathroom, but it was very clean. The bed was comfortable and the TV set beautiful with many channel choices. It would be nice if they had some bottled water in the room. I would stay here again. Oh yes, it is also in the theater district and walking distance to shows.

Place was dirty - there were little hairs all around the bathroom sink and some in the shower as well. Seems like the place hadn’t been dusted in a long time. Also the walls are paper thin. You can hear everything and there was a party going on with loud music, shouting, doors shutting loudly. Would not stay again
