First night upon check in the the gentleman working the front desk was very kind and helpful. We explained this was our first time in the city and he even gave us 2 vouchers for the next
Mornings breakfast buffet. This was valued at $20
Per person.
We stayed here for 5 day. Every day our room was cleaned perfectly, friendly staff and very well maintained. Would recommend to anyone visiting Chicago to stay here. Our room was on the 15th floor. It is cool that all rooms have balcony’s, even though I am scared of heights and didn’t stand out to explore to much, our view we had was just beautiful.

A nice hotel that is me and my husband’s top pick based on location and overall quality. We are originally from Chicago and have family all over the city to visit whenever we’re in town, so this is a very convenient location for us. Parking is a bit pricey, but that’s Chicago for you! There are very few hotels in the city that offer free parking. The in and out parking privileges help a bit, although the daily rate still adds up quickly!

Nice downtown location
Nice hotel. I simply wish that hotels would stop installing their shower heads 5 feet up. I’m 6 feet tall and it’s ridiculous to tilt my head 1 foot down to wash my hair. I don’t understand it.

Near Union station. 15-20 mins walk. They will hold your deposit for a few days though - havent received mine and its 5 days already.

For the price point I thought it was fantastic. My wife and I enjoyed the balcony and view of the city. I hoped for a Jacuzzi or steam shower. The water pressure was a little low, but we were on the 16th floor. I'd definitely stay there again when we're back in Chicago.

It was close to the highway and very easy to find. It was very convenient to have parking taen care of with the reservation. The staff was very helpful. Alexander was awesome! We would definitely stay here again.

We stayed at the Crowne Plaza West Loop for a wedding.
It was fine. It was interesting that we first booked it at the wedding rate through the bride and groom's web site, but closer to the date the hotels,com rate was much better so we switched to that and saved $50. Nothing too fancy but comfortable and a good location near Greek Town. Even had a balcony for a little fresh air.

The location is good, the people are nice, but the hotel looks tired, dated, not well kept...even the carpet in the hallways is buckling and separating.
The room made me feel like I was transported back in time to the 90s

Great stay
The place is old but clean. It is a convenient location with restaurants and grocery stores nearby. We got the parking package so it is great to park in the parking garage. We feel safe. Security personnel at the door. Balcony is a bonus!

Good location, not great stay
Stayed at recommendation of a colleague. Front desk staff was not rude, but not friendly. Appeared annoyed at my presence. The front desk was in a state of deterioration. The bathroom of my room smelled of sewer, which I’m guessing was just poor venting of the drain. Room service did not clean the room during my stay.

I got hurt and manager was almost laughing at me had a smirk on his face. No restaurant on weekends staff were snotty and not that pleasant. They could start offering help with luggage! Just wasn’t thrilled

Overall great stay. We were on the 7th floor and had no issue with noise. The bed and pillows were comfortable enough. Really enjoyed having a balcony. Walking distance from some delicious restaurants and fun areas with bars.

The Hotel has a restaurant and bar which has been closed for the past 3 1/2 years. Limited housekeeping which you have to get on a list and only if they have a space. For the price of the room you got nothing plus parking was outrageous. Would not return.

No restaurant on the weekends?! And i was allowed to purchase breakfast for the Saturday and Sunday mornings when booking on Expedia?! (Not sure if that is an Expedia issue.) Almost hit by a piece of the building falling in the front entrance area as i was waiting for yet another Lyft ride to where i needed to go. Knew the room i was in was showing serious age but THAT totally freaked me out. Coffee station in the room had only coffee and tea - no creamers, sweeteners or stir sticks?! Not a huge issue but the older TV's were difficult to manage - "Channel Guide" button didn't actually give you that, had to press "Channel Up" button on remote. Annoying. On the more positive sides: smelled fresh and bathroom was exceptionally clean. Bed was incredibly comfortable. The sitting area furniture, while aged, was very clean and well maintained. Especially loved the big working desk in the room.

The property had dog feces outside. The property had no amenities. There was no refrigerator nor was there a microwave in my room. It only had self park. The hallway on the 17th floor smelled of weed. They don't offer breakfast on the weekends. They only good thing about me spending $700 for two nights was the night/evening staff. I will never stay here again. Also the water pressure in the room WAS TERRIBLE!!

Nice property and very clean. It was a BUSY weekend with lalapalooza, but the staff was wonderful. Parking can say full, but check in first because they may still have spots available for reserved guests. Didn’t know this and had to park 2 blocks away. It wasn’t a big deal for me and it was significantly cheaper to park at sky bridge, but for some, they may want the option to park closer. Would stay here again.

We purchased a one night stay at last minute. I was a little nervous. The price was almost too good to believe. But we arrived to impeccable check in service, a lovely clean room with a great balcony view of Sears Tower and a quiet restful night. I can’t wait to go back and spend an entire long weekend there.

It’s advertised as free parking. But there is no free parking. They double charged me for the hotel. They tried to charge me for the breakfast and then told me that they don’t do the breakfast buffet on the weekends. I would not recommend this hotel at all. It was clean. I didn’t feel safe, but there are plenty of hotels in the area that would’ve provided just as good of an experience without the hassle.

If you're looking for a affordable stay I would recommend staying here. You're literally minutes away from downtown, not to far from the trains station. The west loop area has a lot to offer in the area.

The rugs need replacement, the keys didn’t work half the time on any of the doors (elevator, gym, room); while someone was able to put my bill under my door, no one was able to pick up the trash outside my door. It is just incredibly expensive for what you get in this bunker-type building. Friendly staff but the facilities are very sub par!

Rooms on the small size for the price. But it is downtown Chicago afterall. Some upper areas/ledges in the room and hotel as a whole not routinely dusted/wiped clean. Lobby was nice. Elevators were quick to use, not much waiting.

Check in was a breeze. The rooms were nice and clean. Only issue, with our room, was our balcony opened to the air/heat units and was too loud to sit outside.
Staff was wonderful. We were there for my son's graduation. Two rooms were booked. The second room was on the 17th floor and had a fantastic view.

I do not like anything about my experience. Front desk Lady by the last name of Hernandez was very rude. I did not get my money back from the $20 that they took from me for incidentals. The beds were disgusting there was not any clean lining on the mattresses I found people's hair crumbs and I ended up getting a strep throat from drinking on the cups that wasn't clean as well. And I have a hospital bill to show for my strep throat all around it was a very terrible experience

We booked this place because of on site parking, (we have never stayed in this area) we paid little more because of on site parking.. but when we arrived we were told that the parking lot was full and had to find our own parking lot… which we had to park about 4 blocks away.. we were there for a concert at the United Center and came back to the hotel after 11PM and we weren’t sure about the neighborhood, that is why we paid little more for the hotel and on site parking) so next time we will find different hotel for little less, since we had to find our own parking!!

A wonderful weekend stay
What an incredible experience! We had a lot of issues with our travel plans, but the hotel staff were more than accommodating and just downright helpful in the most timely of manners. Highly recommend for travelers coming through Chicago!
