The water pressure in the shower was incredibly weak. Also, you must run the water for a minimum of 15 minutes for it to get remotely warm. The room had a very musky, humid, chemical smell at all times. When I asked if we could switch to a different room, they told us everything was booked up. I told them the issues with the room, and they agreed with me basically saying that they were already aware of the poor facilities.

Probably one of the worst hotel stays in my existence.
Checkin was terrible, staff very unfriendly and our experience was the worst.
Room was open when we arrived at the room, garbage was not empty, dishwasher was full of dirty dishes, no towels at all, and when I called for towels she said to come and get it. Ac was not working, filters were taking out etc
When we were waiting for a manager to deal with the issue this person fell of the earth and was not to be found and never dealt with the issue or responded to any conversation about our experience. Stay away if you have other options, this is my first and last time at this hotel for sure

I was disappointed in my stay at this Best Western. The front desk staff was not interested in helping the customer. When I checked in they were unwilling to adjust the price of my stay to accommodate the Best Western membership, AAA or AARP discount that I had. The remote for the TV didn’t work and when I went to the desk no one could be found on multiple occasions until change of shift. Also a customer came in to ask for a price for that night and they quoted them a price $50 less then my Expedia price. We visit this area often and we won’t stay here again.

First hotel in a long time that had a roach. The front desk person did not seem happy to be there. The room next door and hallway were noisy. Being on the second floor we could here footsteps pounding from above. I understood this is a remodel, but paint job not finished. Headboatd noisy for even normal sleepers.

Room had a musty smell and wiped down the phone and remote they were dirty. Stacey was great at checking. Breakfast was good. Place was close to Earl’s Hideaway where our friends band was playing! Happy New Year

the ck in attendant DID NOT want to be bothered, granted it was CHristmas day. DID NOT like the ck out procedure just leave my room card in a plastic box,NO interaction with anyone :(

Went to check in at the desk at around 4:30pm but no one was at the desk, after waiting a short time of about 2 mins, the employee said sorry, I was fixing a TV. She checked us in but gave us a room next to the elevator which was noisy, the room also was for handicapped people, I did not request such a room. Being very tired we went to sleep, I kept coughing & in the morning my wife said she smelled mold, I went to the A/C unit & the entire window & frame were covered with condensation, you could not see out the widow, the carpet below was wet & damp causing the mold. I requested another room from I think her title was house cleaning supervisor, she asked if I needed another disabled room, I said no I never wanted one & she was very accommodating saying she had a room on the 3rd floor ready, but came back to me & said she had a 1 bed queen ready on the first floor. She apologized for the smelly room with mildew or mold. Our new room was fantastic, it was an upgrade, bigger & better. Also they have a complimentary breakfast. Each day we used it there was a female employee cleaning the room & stocking the food. I must say she was one of the most polite, friendly, helpful & respectful people I have ever met outside of my Military Service. If she does not get a pay raise or promotion soon, then there would be something very wrong at that location as she totally deserves it. Your people treat customers how they would be treated & should be treated a long time ago, #1.

Solid "meh" hotel
It was just ok. Nothing special about this place. Room smelled musty/moldy. Our reservation clearly stated 4 adults, yet only 2 bath towels provided. The "2 free drinks" at their sister hotel/bar weren't really free. It was "up to 8 dollars," and the only drinks they have under 8 dollars were beers, and only just barely. Breakfast was a floppy mess with paper plates and plastic utensils. No fresh fruit, nothing to put on toast or bagels. Asked for cream cheese and the lady said they were almost out, but she'd grab some from the back and then never returned. Checkout person didn't even ask how was your stay.

The entire staff are so polite and helpful and the property is well maintained and clean. The pool is very nice and they even have a gym! Also, it's a few minutes walk to Capn Hirams restaurant for drinks and dinner. The hotel even gives a free drink card for each adult in the room, for Capn Hirams!

The staff, the front desk was friendly and helpful.The food attendant was also friendly, and kept the area clean constantly offering to pick up plates abd cups.
The room 219 was neat but as soon as you walked in, it smelled extremely musty. The air conditioner was unusually noisy and loud. My wife carries a spray that eases the musty smell.
There was only 1working ice maker in the hotel, as the other was broke.

The hotel is located conveniently on Route 1 in Sebastian close to the intercostal (Indian River Lagoon) and lots of really good restaurants. The rooms are comfortable but the tubs are slippery with no bath mats and the toilets are unusually low even for those of us who don't require disability accommodations. The a/c seems to make the rooms damp but it does work efficiently. There is no area to get together to play a game and the breakfast area that would be perfect is locked when not in use. But...for the money it is a good value.

Receptionist did not greet us. Threw her arms up in the air when we told her we were there to check in. She stated the internet was down and they. Any do anything . “I don’t even know what rooms are clean.” When asked if she anticipated getting into the room 1.5 hours later because we had a wedding to dress for, she said I have no idea. No apologies whatsoever.

You will feel great staying here! Besides being very cost effective, the queen size beds are so comfortable, with crisp white sheets, and piles of pillows!
Unless you want a tub, the Double Queen ADA room is so much roomier!
The breakfast was a nice surprise with hot deliciously made eggs, waffles, and potatoes. Fresh fruit would have been a nice touch. Otherwise, it is a wonderful!
Finally, the staff was friendly but I must say the facility sells itself!

After a horrible experience with our hotel reservation getting cancelled and being stranded with no place to stay, this hotel was the only one that would let us check in after midnight. The desk clerk was sweet and helpful. So glad they could help us because our 10 year was so tired

The power went off and there was no air-conditioning from a bit past 12:00 am til almost time for us to leave at 8 Am. We were in room 107 right by the entrance to the lobby. So we got to hear all the loud people coming and going at all hours with no television to drown the sound. When the power went out everyone seemed to locate right by the entrance to smoke and yell. So we spent a hot sleepless night. No good. Not happy or pleased at all. There should be a generator for the ac not bathroom lights. Terrible.

We stayed 3 days. After our first night our room was never made up. After a long day out we had to go to the front desk for towels, TP, etc. On the second night we lost power and there was very limited emergency power. I needed to use the flashlight on my phone to find the bathroom. Then on the next day, although they made our bed, they took the dirty towels and did not leave replacements. All of this should be standard protocol for a hotel this my rating of disappointed.

I liked the coffee machine in the lobby and the lady at the front desk. The bed was comfortable. However, there were not enough towels for two people. The toilet seat was coming off and not well attached and the AC shut off at midnight till 7am in the morning. We had a power issue with beeping noises all night so I probably slept 3 hours. The hotel has a lot of potential but needs ongoing maintenance to keep it nice. In addition if they have power issues consider getting a generator or get FPL to place them on a better power grid.

I was very impressed with how clean everything was. It was a high class hotel at a reasonable price. Everything was very clean and orderly - room, pool, exercise room. Excellent breakfast and amazing 24-hour coffee machine ( with real coffee beans in the lobby. I have nothing, nothing negative to add. Staff is lovely.

They say they are dog friendly but because my dogs barked at people coming off elevator, which our room was close to, people complained and staff was fairly rude about it. I thought we were going to get kicked out but I was able to calm my dogs down. Not sure I’d stay there again.

Had a room next to the elevator shaft. What a dumb idea. Noisy atleast until 1:30 am. Very damp in the room as well. My medication disintegrated when I picked it up. Staff was friendly. Only there 1 night survived.

I didn't like that the carpets looked dirty and there's a moldy smell throughout the hotel, furthermore I didn't like that there was only one towel provided for my wife and I upon check in. And then I really didn't like that I called them lobby 4 times and got hung up on.
Overall a very mediocre experience that I will not duplicate.

I liked everything, EXCEPT the lack of concern for the environment.
For breakfast and coffee it seems it would be possible to use reusable plates. Get a dishwasher. The amount of trash generated by each person eating breakfast is obscene.

The place needs a refresher. Lobby furniture old,worn and dingy. Overhead lights full of dead bugs.
Hot breakfast food left a lot to be desired.
Bed & pillows comfortable but bedding was poor quality.

The hotel needs a deep, thorough cleaning. The first thing I noticed was the smell. The only way to describe it would be dirty socks. The hallway carpet was disgusting - stains and dirt throughout. My white socks were black from walking on the carpet in my room. I killed a cockroach in the bathroom two separate days, and they were not the common Palmetto bug found in Florida, they were actual cockroaches; the kind you find in dirty spaces! That was enough to know I didn't want to eat there. If the public areas are that dirty, the kitchen has to be worse.
I only chose this hotel because I had to make an emergency visit and did not have a lot of other options. If there was somewhere else available that weekend, I would have cancelled my reservation and gone there. I will definitely avoid this property in the future.
This review should have no reflection on the front desk attendant. She was very friendly and helpful.

The hotel, though renovated in some areas, seems like it needs a thorough cleaning & the carpets should just be removed.
My bedside table light fixture was rusted and should be replaced and at one point I saw a small roach.
I asked for more bath towels at one point and was told I needed to bring the dirty ones down to the front desk in exchange. That was actually something new I haven’t come across yet.
The breakfast ran out of certain items when I was there eating breakfast but the only employee working there was a delightful lady & had the best customer service out of everyone I came across.

Wet stinky carpets
The room had been subjected to the winds and rain of IAN. The carpets were wet the room smelled awful, socks filthy from the dirt in n carpet. We had no sleep checked out in the morning and cancelled the next night. There is absolutely no excuse for renting out this room. Horrible experience.

There was no stay because of hurricane Ian. We were canceled and rightfully so because the storm was too dangerous to travel in plus the power was out at the hotel! Thankfully, the hotel is refunding the money I paid! For that I am very grateful!

The overall location was great for what we needed. It is definitely a little dated but the staff couldn’t be any nicer and hard working. Bathrooms appeared to be updated and clean. I didn’t get names, but the lady managing the breakfast area was on top of things bringing out freshly baked apple pastries etc.
it was a little noisy at night.
Decent hotel close to a lot of eating/drinking options and just a short walk to the river

Very nice stay. Comfortable beds, clean laundry room, great breakfast and very good coffee. The room itself had a musty odor that went away if I cranked the AC down, but was pretty ugly otherwise. The area is just beautiful.
