Check in person was amazing and friendly. Breakfast was hot and delicious (typical hot breakfast flat eggs, but they tasted good and there were biscuits, bacon, and hot cinnamon rolls, along with cereal and toast/muffins). Hotel was clean and room seem immaculate.

A sharp metal bar attached to the bed frame stuck out about 1 1/2â from mattress. I had to be very conscientious to not tear up my leg getting in and out of bed.

Why was there a hidden $50 charge added to my bill
Stay was fine. I wish the motel would take the $50 charge to my credit card off. I did not buy anything and left the room in good condition.
We took nothing from the room that did not belong to us.

I had a sprained ankle. The staff was wonderful to check us in early. They even gave me a handicapped room with walk in shower. This was great until I took the shower. Apparently there was not adequate drainage. When I went to get out of ADA shower the whole bathroom and foyer was flooded. I was in the room alone trying to walk out of bathroom w/o falling. They did move us to a better room with shower. But since it was holiday my husband cleaned up the flooded area.

It appeared to me the the hotel location was a residential area. Difficult to located in inclement weather. Driving in heavy rain it was uneasy to spot and exterior lighting was not easily seen.

Very nice accommodations. Friendly staff. Clean rooms. Great breakfast. This place is better than the ones we've stayed in at this price point. We felt safe and comfortable. Only reason i didnt give it a perfect score is because we are light sleepers and the hotel is right on the expressway. We would definitely stay here again, but we would ask for a room on the front side of the building. Hotel is located in a business park area. Very short drive, 5 min, to restaurants and shopping. Very nice, I would recommend.

Heck of a Holiday
We stayed at Holiday Inn Express Warrenton for 2 nights and were in the area for a family wedding. The hotel was clean, offered a decent free breakfast (loved the pancakes), and had a nice outdoor pool. The front desk staff were not very welcoming and offered little information. I even had to ask about the breakfast and its hours. Overall, a nice hotel whose employees could use a course in interpersonal relations.

Not spectacular but okay if you're tired
Check in was smooth. The property needs some upkeep. Clearly there has been flooding our some type of water damage in the bathroom with stained ceiling tiles and the bottom of the door peeling. It gave the sense of uncleanness.
Breakfast was "meh."

Hotel Desk Manager was outstanding in her professionalism, quiet efficiency, and helpfulness.
Cleaning Staff were excellent! The room was very clean. We arrived before check-in and were still provided a room.

We were given a room with dirty footprints all over the carpet. We were transferred to another room with same problem. We were then given an "upgrade" to a third room that had the SAME problem but ,in this room, I also killed an ant. We left. No excuse for this!

The staff and the facility are very nice! I am on a road trip, day 4, this is the first place were the water pressure was really great! Shower was sooo nice as was the rest of the room! Definitely sty at Holiday Inn Express again!

We got a room next to the highway and it was very loud. The carpet was stained and should have been cleaned up.
And we had to leave early, before 6, and got a coffee and wanted to take along a yogurt but the unit was locked up and the night manager did not have a key.

The location was fine for my purpose
The afternoon desk staff was good but check out staff very cold and "so what" attitude.
The cleaning crew tried to rush me to check-out early and ignored the do not disturb sign on my door. Actually opened my door and tried to come in.
I will NOT be using this location again!

It was a good stay. The tv channels were a bit underrated for such a modern hotel. Could have had more true crime channels. I got stuck watching 50 year old tv shows and cartoons. But other than that it was a beautiful hotel.

The Holiday Inn at Warrenton Va convenient to many areas of interest. Rooms were nice but small and not much room to maneuver . Small vanity in bathroom. Carpet needs replacing. Overall was a friendly place to stay. All Staff was helpful and pleasant. Would stay again. Nice outdoor pool. Lots of selections for breakfast.

There was no one available at the front desk for 15-20 minutes at check-in. I tried calling the hotel and no one answered. I then contacted IHG customer service and eventually got checked in, but it was needlessly time consuming and frustrating.

Very Clean With Very Friendly Professional Staff
The hotel staff was very pleasant and professional. On first site when I arrived the first night I almost thought that I had arrived at a bad side of town as the hotel was not well lit and hard to see. Even after I parked at the entrance to check in, I mentioned that it was very dark in front of the hotel under the overhead covering. With that said the young lady behind the counter agreed that it was dark outside. That was troubling as an overall safety issue to me. My only other gripe would be my room was on the back side of the hotel on an upper floor and I could easily hear the main road noise of the trucks and vehicles passing by all night, every night. Besides that the hotel is clean and breakfast was good every morning. The pancake machine wasn't working every day I was there but that was not a deal breaker for me.

The sheets on the bed were soiled. The water for the shower was teetering on luke warm and cold. I was cold during the shower. Asked to have sheets changed out and no one came to do it. I had to track down cleaning lady fir toilet paper and towels. Not worth the money i paid. The bed was comfortable though.

The hotel backs up to rt 29. Our room was on the highway side. Constant tractor trailers racing by all night long. We had to put our 1 year old in the bathroom so heâd be able to sleep. It was a very disappointing experience. I called the hotel after I made our reservation to ask a few questions. I also let them know we were traveling with a baby. Someone should have used common sense to give us a room facing the front of the hotel. When I said something to the gentleman at the desk he didnât care.

Hotel was very nice and room was clean except for stains on carpet! Bed and bedding was wonderful! I donât think I slept a wink! You must do something about the traffic noise. Build a SOUND reduction wall! We will never stay here again! I booked Candlewood suites in Manassas for 3 weeks in December and it sits next to 66 and we never heard ant traffic noise! Our son lives in Warrenton and we wanted to be closerâŚâŚbig mistake!

Even though it appeared that the hotel was pretty empty, they put us in a room facing the highway. Lots of road noise! In the future, until the hotel is more than half full, please put guests on the side farthest from the highway.

During our stay the elevator wasnât workingâŚthey are waiting on a part and when we arrived it was dark outside and the outdoor lights had not come on yet but when we went out later in the evening, they were on. Will stay there again.

The staff & hotel itself were nice & I understand the construction aspect. The breakfast was also pretty good.
The issues: There was only 1 light working on the exterior of the property, security issue. The heating system was bad. They have the central unit on the wall but the heat/ac is still supplied by a floor unit. I had the heat set to 75 & once it reached that, instead of turning off it started to blow cool air!!! The thing that almost made me check into another hotel was the shower. It had no pressure & the water only got "warm". Worst way ever to start a day. I would not stay here again.

The tv's didn't work, kept digitalizing. The elevator was broken, son is on crutches in leg cast. They didn't have working vending machine or front desk store. Not one thing to eat or drink in the entire hotel. I've stayed 100 times HIE - I never ever experienced a stay like this nationally. They had room items scattered throughout the first floor in the hallways - locks, lights switches etc

Since this hotel was undergoing renovations and no rooms were available on the first floor, and the elevators were not working, as a couple in our seventies it was a little stressful for us to have to transport our luggage, etc. up two flights of stairs and back down when we left. Bedding was so comfy and towels were very good quality. Overall good stay.

Except fir making the bed, i am pretty sure the room wasn't clean. Two pieces of clear plastic on the carpet in the middle of the room tells me it wasn't vacuumed. Left me a used empty lotion bottle. Shower gel on the shower wall was empty. Toilet seat was up. There were stains on the countertop. I checked in around 11pm after a very long flight so i cleaned the place myself and didn't bothered complaining.
My rooms is next to a large road and road noise penetraded through. Luckily it is not a busy road.
I stayed for 5 nights.

The hotel was undergoing renovations during our visit which disrupted the availability of our room for our reservation. We received a phone call day of check-in informing us that they did not have a room available for us because the renovations were progressing more slowly than they had anticipated. They had to transfer us to the Red Roof in during the first night of our stay. It was inconvenient

First, we waited for over an hour for a renovated room that was supposed to be ready in 15 minutes. After waiting we had to get ready in a friendâs room (which smelled like mold and mildew) for a wedding we were attempting otherwise weâd have missed it. We were told that we would get a call when the room was ready and no one ever called. When we got back around midnight a renovated room wasnât available like we were told. The room we did receive had mold in the bathroom and rusted bathtub and toilet. It was disgusting. We woke up with stuffy noses and sneezing. The only thing that was nice was the comfy bed and soft sheets.
