Such a cute little hotel. The bed was actually very comfortable and very clean. We’re right on whiskey row so we didn’t need to drive anywhere. Plenty of food around.

Everything was great but the description is a little misleading. The rooms are super small and it was probably the most uncomfortable bed I have ever slept on. Everything else was great!

Stayed at St Michaels for a romantic getaway with my wife room was awesome. Only thing that was a little disappointing was size of the shower was too small for both of us but no big deal.

Very quaint and a step back in time, so fun! This hotel was very warm and cozy. The staff are super friendly and helpful. You are located in the heart of the wonderful town of Prescott. Within walking distance of all the small local stores, restaurants and saloons! Be sure to stop by Lily's Saloon for a great time and awesome people. The only drawback is the noise level from the downtown traffic. The hotel provides ear plugs for sleeping, but it can be quite noisy. That being said, we would stay again!

I booked a room based on Expedia ratings and it was the worst hotel room I had ever been in. We stayed 2 hours and left to drive home. It was loud, tiny room and everything was heavily worn. I’m sorry, Expedia but I will never take your ratings seriously again! I could have stayed at the Marriott for the same price!

Loved staying in a quirky historic hotel. Rooms are a bit small and there’s ambient noise from inside and outside the hotel. Excellent walking location and lots of dining and entertainment nearby.

It's a lovely hotel, and we will be back for sure! A couple things that would have made it five stars. One, we didn't realize the parking was separate or see this mentioned on Expedia. Maybe we missed this. We also couldn't adjust our heat as the room got cold right after we went to bed. Granted for those coming from warmer places like Tucson or Florida, we're probably used to a warmer room at night, but there also wasn't an extra blanket in the room. We contacted staff. They were amazing!! They got us a small heater immediately. We did have to get out of bed and get dressed to get it, but it worked perfectly.

This is a historical hotel that has retained its old time originality. The rooms are small and the premises are dated but that’s part of the point.
The staff are friendly and helpful. The onsite Bistro and bar were good. Can’t beat the location for walkability.

Very unique, used to be “Bubblegum Brothel,” and the bedroom floors are slanted, restaurant downstairs you can bring the food up to the room, the only problem we had was we could hear the conversation of the people in the bathroom next door and the lighted candle in the window burned my friends stomach. He blames himself cuz he leaned right against it- so be careful! Overall, lots of walking to do, the locals are super friendly, parking is perfect. Lots of shops on the bottom floor and an old school elevator with a gate. Overall, we paid a great price for a great experience.

Well this hotel is about location
. It’s on Gurley st so if that’s your aim this is the spot. Don’t expect luxury. Don’t expect extras. It’s a bed. It’s a toilet. Also don’t expect parking to be easy. Especially if there’s an event. We didn’t get to check in until almost 9. Bistro was closed. So we basically slept and left.

The staff were so lovely and accommodating. They did as much as possible to make sure we were comfortable. It was a very interesting and charming place. Very historically maintained. It's almost like staying in England or another part of the UK.

Talking too loud, really?
We checked in with 2 other couples at the minimum time 3PM and at 3:15 we all got warnings of being too loud, That is ridiculous especially right after checkout and in the middle of the afternoon. We will not stay there again because of this

I loved the vibe - it is an old hotel so do not expect a new building. That being said - it was super clean, and the staff was so friendly and helpful. It is right downtown so there is noise at night on the weekend. Monday night, though, it was super quiet. The parking - as is normal for any historic downtown is across the alley in the parking garage - took us a while to figure it out. The registration is kinda hard to find, on the side, and has a reserved parking area where you can unload. It does have an elevator - the old kind with the metal door - LOVED it. Would go back there every time. Tip: Breakfast at the Lone Spur Cafe!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Elevator was put out of service after being unable to land at the level of the second floor. It was quite an unsafe jump out of the elevator to the floor. Comfortable bed and good linens. Very old property. Furniture mismatched and dinged up in our room. Only one nightstand too. Dark and dismal. Could use some TLC and fresh paint. Staff very pleasant, including in the Bistro. Good food.

Historic building in great location to shops and Whiskey Row entertainment. But be aware, they have 3 flights of steps…and a 100 year old elevator. When arriving, it was working…THANKFULLY! But upon checkout, we weren’t informed, and struggled to get all luggage downstairs. There was a different woman at the desk upon checkout who made zero attempt to apologize or offer any help. A sweet maid, however, offered and I respectfully declined and thanked her very much. Just a heads up! Otherwise, loved the hotel, location, and town.

Perfect location, very old and lots of charm!
Perfect location! Walking distance to everything. Obviously it’s a very old hotel and to maintain the charm, the sinks and showers, etc are older but I’m not overly picky so it didn’t bother me but some won’t enjoy that. The carpet is also very old so smells a bit musty in the building but again, that’s how they maintain the old charm so I didn’t mind it.

I enjoyed my two night stay at the historic hotel. The property was in really good shape considering it’s age. My room was 318 and just above Whiskey Row so it was fairly noisy at night but as expected. They provide ear plugs in the room if needed. The shower and faucet both worked well and had great pressure and temps. The bath towel was really soft compared to much higher end hotels I’ve stayed. The hotel is really the most convenient location to restaurants and shops. The mattress is on the firm side so if you’re used to sleeping on a very soft mattress, you may find it too firm. I managed ok. The hotel provides free bottled water in room and more free at desk when you need. Very fun stay with mild haunting lol.

Perfect location right in the heart of downtown Prescott. A bit loud on a Friday night due to bar music, but we hotel provides earplugs. We didn’t mind much because we visited several bars before heading back to the hotel.

Beautiful historic area.
The only bad thing I can say about the place is the beds. They were very uncomfortable to the point we couldn't get much sleep. We had back pain the next day. Which is a bummer because we usually only sleep in our hotel rooms, and see the town and enjoy whatever life it has to offer. My air matress dor camping is more comfortable.

Nice hotel, perfect location right in the heart of Prescott’s historic district. The hotel has no direct parking, but there is a free, public garage less than a block away. No issues, we enjoyed our two night stay.

Rooms are small but perfectly clean, is very quiet and safe. The Bistro has good food and prices. Try the salad with mango dressing, it's amazing. Lots of shops but bring thousands because the prices are up there.

Interesting historic hotel. Great location next to the square. Room was quite noisy from street noises, floor was not level and other occupants got stuck in the elevator (the oldest in AZ) so we chose to always use the stairs.

Overrated and overpriced for an average hotel room. It's saving grace is its location near the town square. But also, a double edge sword there because of the all night music from Whiskey Row.

Great Little Place
Great location! Convenient to everything downtown, and parking garage nearby. Hotel is historic and old, so don't expect expansive room. However, it is a good size, and the bathroom also. Room was clean, bed was comfy, but pillows not so much. I am picky, but these were very lumpy. Front desk was very helpful. We will definitely be staying here again.

I was popping into town to visit friends. This hotel is so cute and directly on Whiskey Row in the historic quarter. I didn’t take advantage of the bistro downstairs, but you’ll be in stumbling distance to a slew of restaurants and bars all the same. I loved the old elevator although I couldn’t get my friend to use it. Room is tiny and clean, but limited amenities. Most importantly there is a fan and AC to provide comfort, and WIFI. Perfect price and location, I look forward to staying here next time I’m in town.

I call them many times but they never refund me money.
Also second night they have a problem with air conditioning system and we was not able to sleep whole night
I contacted to general manager and she printmaker a refund for the secon night
I still do not any refund and they never return money to my card

This is a very old hotel with a few quaint features like the antique elevator but it had only a pedestal sink, toilet and tiny walk in shower with a curtain in the bathroom, no counter for toiletries, no refrigerator or any appliances, a window cooler that was very loud and a busy street with loud traffic until wee hours. They were kind enough to supply ear plugs. However the staff was great and there is a bar/restaurant in the lobby are as well as small shops. Within walking distance to shops and restaurants so you can leave the car parked.

Pleased but bummed
Our stay was quite pleasing. However, three things that we were unpleased with was having to hear the A/C run all night, very low water pressure in the sink, and there was no view from our windows except for that of a brick wall.

Historic charm in vibrant downtown Prescott. Stay here to appreciate the building's unique craftsmanship of a bygone era, as well as the excitement and activities of Prescott's downtown Whiskey Row. If you are looking for luxurious comfort, maybe you have to upgrade - the guest room that we stayed in barely had enough room for two people to move around in, with one small window that had a view similar to a prison yard. The hotel's bistro at street level has a great location and ambience, but the quality of the food is typical of this area - worth about half of what we paid for it.

The room was fine, small and just what we needed. We liked that they offered complimentary water. The sheets were a tad rough on the skin. Softer sheets would be good and nobody came to make bed, but I made it myself. Overall good stay, location and friendly staff.

Wonderful historic hotel!
This was my second or third stay at this heritage hotel. I am consistently impressed with everything about it. It’s location is perfect. Restaurants and art are everywhere. I highly recommend it!
