New Year’s Trip
Customer service was good during check in/out. Our room was dirty. The bathroom was full of hair on the floor and in the shower. The bedding was stained. The mattress was very uncomfortable. We felt the springs and woke up with back pain each morning. We never saw housekeeping or other staff on our floor. Hotel was near shopping and restaurants.

Amazing Stay
Great place for singles for family stays. Everything is clean and food is great. The best part is that they have a Starbucks as well so its great when wanting to grab a nice cup of coffee.

I chose the property because it was near my daughters house and I am a Hilton Honors member . The dining was limited and the place seemed understaffed .

Room was clean, check in was super easy! The only thing I would say is expedia as well as doubletree website stated there was a $50 deposit. When I got there it was $150. Now I am not sure if this included additional taxes that were not listed. Nonetheless, the hotel and Expedia could improve on breaking down this information a little further.

Our hotel room was very clean. The rest of the hotel was also really well maintained. We enjoyed the pool area and the lobby. The staff was professional and friendly. The only critique I have is that the towels aren’t the softest. Other than that, our stay was very enjoyable.

Everything was perfect until we got up to our room on the 4th floor. Right when we got to the fourth floor, the smell of marijuana was so strong. I felt like I was inhaling it. When we got into our room, it still smelled like it. We checked out that same day because it was just too strong of a smell. I told the front desk that it smelled like marijuana and some man was smoking in the hallway and they just said they can’t do nothing about it. I was furious. The gentleman behind the desk that I spoke to about the smell, was not helpful at all and was very rude. No customer service skills at all. It’s a 0 stars for me

Loved our Visit !!
I read the reviews before making a reservation. I was impressed by the "cleanliness" comments. And I found out that the hotel & the room were Very clean ! So happy about that. I also enjoyed the mirrors in our room... thinking they appeared to take 10 to 20 yrs off my face... : ) "Ten thumbs" up on the staff as well... very helpful !!

A nice place to stay.
Clean roon, beds a little hard, shower was excellent, towels could be softer but were nice and white. No kleenex in the holder
Otherwise a nice room. It was located by one of the exit doors which we could hear everytime someone came through them.

The beds have plastic mattress pads that were extremely hot and uncomfortable. Walls are paper thin so you hear everything going on in rooms and baths on either side. Pool & workout room nice. Bar nice. Breakfast awful and way overpriced. Dinner selections meh and overpriced. Desk staff nice but poorly trained. Overall hotel a fine low-3 star property with a 4-star price.

Conveniently off freeway, was just an ok stay.
The lady at check in was not friendly (her name was Katie I think, I was frustrated so didn’t bother to remember her name maybe alexa anyhow), she didn’t care about the person just cared to get you checked in and on the way. Person before me she helped I overheard her giving them map asked questions etc, none of that was asked to us, just give me ur id and here’s keys. At time of reservation,I requested top floor w pool view, was given bottom floor right at the pool (north side), she said there was no higher suites. Horrible room sewer smell, non bearable very very bad, went right back to front asked for another room, if it wasn’t for Chris and his kind patient helpful personality then that would have been our last time there and wouldn’t have stayed our 2nights. We stayed here many times before and never got brushed off. He gave us a 3rd floor room on west side of pool, way better! Not to mention while Chris was helping us that same lady gave two younger girls a room on the 3rd floor too so it’s like u did have rooms available, we paid for suite but in This case we voiced that I didn’t care and just wanted a great room whether is was more expensive or less which was fine but the lady didn’t bother to go above to help us at the beginning.
Big thank you to Chris, you are a vital part to front desk there!
Note we have stayed at this property many times on the 3rd/4th floors in different type rooms and all faced the pool but never on ground floors, wouldn’t recommend ground.

I wish that the staff (night) was trained better. We had issues with the Internet and was told read the paper we got when we checked in. We called the number on the "paper" we got and no luck. It took my husband to go directly downstairs to talk to the staff and we were able to get 2 things on the Internet. One of the reasons why we choose this hotel was it provided Wi-Fi.
The positive was the housekeeping that cleaned our room and even laid out our traveling blankets on the beds. It was that service that we gave a tip for this. Too bad the night staff didn’t provide better service.

This is the second time we've stayed at this property. The staff is great, we love the rooms, has a lot of amenities; the pool and gym is really good, the breakfast buffet has lots of options and really good food. The property overall is very nice. (There has been some construction/remodel going on, but other than that, really nice).

The overall experience of staying at the DoubleTree Chandler Phoenix was a pleasant and enjoyable one. We specially appreciated having fast-charge USB ports throughout the room. Also, we feel that Hilton provides exceptionally comfortable pillows. ADA accessibility seemed compliant, ADA sink, plenty of grab bars, wide door widths, high and low peep holes. Our room had two queens. I didn't measure the space between them, but it seemed adequate for wheelchair parallel approach onto either bed. Closet has lowered closet rods. Our room had a bath tub. I didn't see a seat, but I imagine one would be provided upon request.

Good enough for a Music Festival
At first it was great because of the location and the price point. Then one of our friends was getting their earlier than us so I called to ask if I could check in over the phone. The front desk person was super rude and later we found out we could have checked in over the app. Next we got to our room and it smelled like a pack of cigarettes. They were really nice and accommodating about changing our room. Later that night, when we started getting ready for bed the pullout couch had one pillow and a blanket that was falling apart. Even though its supposed to sleep 2 extra people. They were accommodating to asking for extra pillows and extra blankets even though all the blankets were the same.
If you stay here I recommend bringing your own blanket and pillows if you are sleeping 4 people to a King room. Otherwise just get the two queens. Gals at the breakfast were amazing! Maybe not worth the $12 but still good. Cookies are awesome!

Average as expected. But we got charged 2x at check in & they don’t know when the funds would be released for the 2nd night when we were only staying one. That was after they reassured we were not charged twice. That’s a big mistake on their part.

The hotel was great - very clean, staff extremely helpful and friendly. The only con is that you can’t go outside to the courtyard until 6am (doors are locked to go outside even though there’s another door to access the pool that can stay locked). Also, the rooms had ooor lighting. All in all, the location was very convenient and close to all surrounding cities. I would recommend and stay here again.
