Good for the price
My wife, daughter and I stayed here for the groundhog festival. Overall it was good for the price. The place is outdated but everything was clean, but maybe not in the best shape. The beds were a little hard, but no complaints for the price and for one night. 7 mins from downtown area.

I stayed for two week, and I was mostly there to sleep for the night then just left each morning to do stuff around town. My stay was good though, and had everything I really needed.

Mr Anand in the front office was super nice. I did observe a leak in the tap above the sink.. but no biggie. A wrench should fix it. TV could be digital.. but hey I am getting what I had paid for. Great stay. I highly recommend this one.

Bad experience
First, they didn't have a smoking room. Second, they didn't have the pool. They put us on a second floor with dogs and the hallway Smell like dog Pee third the refrigerated didn't work in our room they gave us another one that barely worked. And the breakfast not even gonna talk about that it was awful.

Nothing the property can do about the drag strip outside the motel, but it was noisy. It didn't keep us up at night if we ran the AC and our personal white noise machine. It was conveniently located to shopping and restaurants, a plus. We would stay again.

Said 2 queen beds, it was 2 doubles, upgrade for 1 king was $60, didnt have any, so we slept apart… no pool and kind of dingy… wont go there again!

Would stay here again
Check in was easy but lobby smelled a little, the same with hallways. Everything looked clean. Everyone was friendly! Room was quiet and air conditioning worked great. Only issue was the toilet handle was loose and would stick and we had a 5 year old with us so we had to keep fixing it for him.

The place is very outdated and smelled bad in the hallways. room was ok but the bathroom needs some help. The shower had no pressure and I think we could pee faster than the shower.

Don’t stay here.
I understand the Super 8 is a budget hotel and we have stayed in many but never any as awful as this one. Furniture falling apart, burn hole in blanket, dirty, dirty, dirty and only one towel. Light by the bed had wire cut so no light. Person at check in was rude.

Not bad if ballin on a budget
Check in - fast and friendly
Bed - clean and comfy
Room - dated and old
Common areas old and didn’t smell great
Overall this is a good option for the money but the smell was a little off putting in common areas. That being said the room was fine, it didn’t smell and the bed was very comfortable. So once you get to your room you’ll have a different experience. I just needed a place to crash for the night and it served that purpose.

The toilet had an issue that required us to remove the tank cover after every flush to fix the chain. The floors creaked. The tub creaked, the highway noise was loud. The breakfast was minimal, almost empty. We will not stay here again.

Unfortunately the room was in poor condition. Burns in the blanket. Phone didn't work. Only one thin blanket. No ice bucket or coffee maker. Window was left open so room was freezing. Not a good experience but we were tired and needed a place to sleep.

We have a 1 year old whom we were attempting to keep warm as our power was out for the second night. Only way to describe this hovel is absolutely unacceptable. The carpets looked as though they haven’t been washed in a decade. The whole building smelled like cigarettes and marijuana. Nothing in our room had been updated or maintained. Do not stay here we left soon after checking in to find another hotel. The front desk told me when I called today since I didn’t check out 2 minutes after checking I wouldn’t be getting a refund.

Ghetto hotel
We stayed and the lobby was nice but the room had burnt wholes in the bedding, unclean chairs to sit in. Smelled like weed, and walls had chips in them, shower didn’t work, tv didn’t work, door knob was broken to bathroom.

Late check in so we parked at the end of the building and my family came up the stairs to find multiple males drinking in the stairwells. The next morning the Corona beer bottles were still in the stairwell even though we slept in.
The room itself was fair with two exceptions, the tub had obviously not been cleaned and there were stains on one of the sheets.

1. Dirty. Linnens were clean, andvthe bathroom fixture surfaces were clean, but nothing else was adequately cleaned. Spots on walls, corners with dirt, food and wrapers left in the stairs for days.
2. Run down. The facility was constructed with inexpensive materials, which is okay, but they have become warn and are seriously showing their age.

The lamps near the bed didn’t work and the furniture in the room looked dingy and unsanitary. The bed lacked enough bedding for the type of weather. The heat wasn’t on and it took a while to warm myself.

It was in a nice area.
The continental breakfast was low quality, the microwave didn't work and the TV remote would not turn the TV on and off. The wifi was not dependable. With that said, it was very inexpensive.

This facility needs a total makeover. The halls and room had worn carpet and the smell from smoke was horrible. I literally cancelled and stayed with a friend, even forfeiting my $130 nonrefundable payment. Keep driving past it . Too bad because the location was suitable☹️

Terrible!!!!!! Have stayed there for 6 years and has gone down hill every time…..
Got there toilet didn’t work right, next morning told front desk…. Told them we be gone all day and they said they would check it…we got back later that evening and still did not work….
Carpet was worn everywhere and torn
We walked in and all we could smell in the hall was marijuana……

The hallway outside my room positively reeked of marijuana. For the second year in a row, the hair dryer didn't work. The coffee pot didn't work. The floor was filthy and appeared to have not been vacuumed in some time. The window was open when I arrived, which would have been fine if I was not on the first/ground floor making it a security issue. Overall, quite disappointing.

Stay Away!
As soon as you walked in the lobby it smelled of cigarettes and pot. We asked if this was a no smoking motel and the man at the desk said yes. It ckearky wasn't! Very shady and sketchy people in the hallways walking bear foot. Hallways reeked of cigarettes and pot. There was no continental breakfast even though it was posted there was. Room was cleaned and comfortable but when you turned on the bathroom fan you could smell cigarettes and pot! Do not come here! You are better off sleeping in your car! Did not feel safe! Luckly my cousin that came was law officer and had protection!.

Comfortable place with reasonable rates
Comfortable place to stay with reasonable rates. Samara at the front desk was very helpful with accommodating my request to change to a quieter room. I am more sensitive to noise and it may not be an issue for others who are not as sensitive... the original room was on the side where the highway is and the noise from the highway was something I wanted to avoid.

Price was good. Location was good (close enough to Woodstock Square). Building was old and worn...like the carpet was wrinkled up and things were beyond being cleaned. Hair dryer would stay in holder nor would it turn on. One of the outlets was broken and looked like a shock waiting to happen. Shower was very worn and creaked the whole time you were showering, but the water was hot. The area and clientel seemed a bit sketchy...more like a residence than and over night place. We won't stay there again.

Not a Bad Place to Stay in a Pinch
Got an upgrade because the room we were given hadn’t been made yet, which was incredibly nice. The room we were given was much more spacious and had a couch, but the room overall was very dusty, grimey, and out-dated. Front desk was very nice. House-keeping cleaned about 15% of our room while we were gone one day, despite us asking them not to. (Our room had no “Do Not Disturb” door hanger.) Not the worst place I’ve been to, but it wasn’t too great. Probably will never stay here again.

The hotel room look like it hasn't been dusted off in months. Telephone looks like in that it's never been clean. Smelled in the hallway oh, and there were other guests who were complaining as well about that. There was also a lot of noise coming from other rooms as well as outside.

The room is like a horror movie, 1980s carpet, furniture is old and falling apart, the walls are chipping, just over all a cheap hotel that’s not worth what they are asking. Do not recommend. They need to do major updates and cleaning.

You get what you pay for. Overall the people were friendly and the place was clean. Typical smoking rooms, run down nasty stained carpet. Whoever installed the tubs in the bathroom didn't reenforce the floors and they're loud. Feel bad for people on the 1st floor having to hear a herd of elephants trying to take a shower. The mattresses were beyond terrible. Ended up sleeping on the way home in the car. The beds killed our backs couldn't get comfortable.

There is nothing special about this property. There is a lot of road noise. Light bulbs are missing in the room. The electrical socket by the bed was sketchy. No breakfast served due to covid but this was not listed when I made my reservation. They could have at least done some prepackaged muffins

Terrible parking.
Snow was plowed horribly. No path shoveled to side doors. One truck with a trailer took up 6 parking spots which there weren’t enough anyway because snow wasn’t cleared. Only 2 pillows on each bed abd a thin blanket. No additional in the room and all the lights were unplugged and the heat was on 58. This is the middle of winter.

Thumbs up for the Jacuzzi Suite!
We live close in Wisconsin, but being we were attending a wedding, we did not want to drink and drive home and this location offered the best deal. A couple of days before we arrived, we did upgrade our room to a jacuzzi suite when we realized one existed.
When we realized my (groomsman) husband had to be at the wedding venue at the same time as check-in we called and were allowed to check in earlier. The man working a the desk, I wish I remember his name was awesome (danny?) He checked us in and walked us to the room to go over it with us, with his mask on.
I admit I was apprehensive because I knew it was a smoking room and I HATE the smell of smoke. But I have to say, I really didn't smell it.
The room had a long leather(?) couch, tv, king size bed, fridge, bathroom, and of course the jacuzzi in the room.
I wouldn't say everything was in the best of shape, but being we are not germaphobes, or picky, it was pretty decent.
There was a rug in front of the jacuzzi that needed to be replaced, as it was coming unraveled. And it unraveled, even more, trying to get out which exposed a tiny kids plastic seal figure under it. Cute, but not when my husband stepped on it.
CONS: limited towels, only 2 pillows, and teeny shampoos. No conditioner.
LOVED that there was a makeup remover pad.
Of course with COVID there was no breakfast available.
The one complaint, we are short.. the jacuzzi knobs, and drain were on the opposite side so we had to get in to turn it on to reach it.

Off the highway.
Not wheelchair friendly. Cracks and potholes in parking lot. Doors narrow and no accessible button. Room was alittle accessible. Room facing sunset was a plus. Place needs upgrade. Clock radio very dirty and stuck on am. No iron or board. Bathtub was uneven and extremely squeeky. The toilet would sound like it was going to take off after you flush. Thank goodness it kept working .

Our room was clean and a decent size/what we ordered. However, it did not provide any conditioner for the shower and the tiniest bottle of shampoo for 1 person only/single use so make sure you bring your own. The room didn't smell bad, but the hallway did not have the best scent to it. I know there are smoking rooms despite our room being nonsmoking so its possible that was traveling thru the vents to that hallway. Another issue for me personally was I booked this hotel partially for the fact that it provided a continental breakfast ....... so i could get a quick meal before making the drive back home and not needing to stop somewhere. By the time i got downstairs it was already closed. There was a sign posted by the front desk that it was only from 6-9am so i can't really fault them for not informing people. However, i think it should at least be open until 10:30 or closer to check out time. When you get in late from the night before it would be nice to somewhat sleep in and not have to set an alarm just to go downstairs for breakfast. Other than that, everything met my expectations.

Labor Day stay.

The staff was polite. No complaints with the staff. The hotel is extremely dated and the halls smelled terrible. The smell of smoking is pervasive in this facility regardless if you have a non smoking room. The breakfast consisted of waffles, toast, packaged rolls and coffee. Not appetizing at all. The bed was comfortable. We had to stay in the area for 4 nights to assist a family member. This hotel was booked for the cost savings, but I wish I would have paid $10 more fire a different hotel. The money I saved I was able to invest in helping our family member.
Avoid if at all possible.

The man that was at the desk was very friendly. Greeted us right away. On the way to the room, we had to walk down the hallway past the smoking rooms to our non smoking room. You could almost taste the cigarette smoke in the halls. The room was not very clean. Carpet was filthy and is in need of replacement and could tell bathroom was not really cleaned.

The rooms are old damp with a bad lingering smell. The air conditioner rattled all night. We accompanied two separate rooms and one of us had to switch rooms due to being in a room they rent to people with pets. The rug was damp with pee and febreeze and smelled terrible! They were nice enough to move us. Would not stay here again

The outside was clean and the rooms appeared clean.
It could use new carpeting, and drapes. The drapes in the room were worn out and had holes in them from wear and tear.
The b"fast area could of been cleaner, like the inside of the microwave,no hand soap or paper towels to wash hands before you get food and after.
it served its purpose for what we needed.

Good pricing on a comfortable hotel. Good location and friendly staff. Interior is a bit dated and musty. It needs to be refreshed, but it is clean and well maintained. All in all, it is exactly what you expect it will be.

The room was large, the bathroom a bit small, TV, microwave fridge in room, the bed was the most comfortable bed for a hotel room I have ever slept in.
There was a sign in the parking lot, the first time I had ever seen one for Veterans parking , more places should have that

I have reservation but they gave the room to a different person simply because I haven't check in yet around 8 or 9pm. Based on our conversation. They have somebody who called looking for a room and they are giving that room to that person. They want to put me in a different room with my wife and 2 kids.

Old, outdated and noisy but nice staff
This is an old hotel, furniture is old and in crappy shape, floors are so squeaky and creeky that I was awakened every night by the guest above me just walking in their room as I'm sure the guests below me were, I could hear my floor creeking and squeaking. No full length mirror, inconvenient plugs for chargers, computer cord, etc. Staff was nice and accommodating and the area is beautiful. I got what I paid for I suppose.

I liked that this place was close enough to Woodstock that we could get to everything, but not so close that it was so busy around it. My only real issue was that right after I made my reservation online, i called and spoke to a Norma and explained that our plane was to arrive at like midnight of the 20th, and that i understood that most checkins werent til 3 in the afternoon but if it was possible to checkin as soon as we got there. She said absolutely and said she would note it in our reservation. When we got there, the night attendant refused to let us checkin early unless we paid for another day. I explaines that this Norma said we could and he was like no, so we just paid for another day. We were so exhausted that we just werent going to fight. I would have gladly paid for the extra say when o reserved
